2 Moses4872 my servant5650 is dead;4191 now6258 therefore arise,6965 go5674 over5674 this Jordan,3383 you, and all3605 this2088 people,5971 to the land776 which834 I do give5414 to them, even to the children1121 of Israel.3478

2 Mein Knecht5650 Mose4872 ist gestorben4191; so mache dich nun auf und zeuch über5674 diesen Jordan3383, du und dies ganze Volk5971, in das Land776, das ich ihnen, den Kindern1121 Israel3478, gegeben5414 habe6965.

3 Every3605 place4725 that the sole3709 of your foot7272 shall tread1869 on, that have I given5414 to you, as I said1696 to Moses.4872

3 Alle Stätte4725, darauf eure Fußsohlen3709 treten1869 werden, habe1696 ich euch gegeben5414, wie ich Mose4872 geredet habe.

4 From the wilderness4057 and this2088 Lebanon3844 even to the great1419 river,5104 the river5104 Euphrates,6578 all3605 the land776 of the Hittites,2850 and to the great1419 sea3220 toward the going3996 down3996 of the sun,8121 shall be your coast.1366

4 Von der Wüste4057 an und5104 diesem Libanon3844 bis an das große1419 Wasser5104 Phrath, das ganze Land776 der Hethiter2850, bis an das große1419 Meer3220 gegen dem Abend3996, sollen eure Grenze1366 sein.

5 There shall not any man376 be able3320 to stand3320 before6440 you all3605 the days3117 of your life:2416 as I was with Moses,4872 so I will be with you: I will not fail7503 you, nor3808 forsake5800 you.

5 Es soll dir niemand376 widerstehen3320 dein Leben2416 lang3117. Wie ich mit Mose4872 gewesen bin, also will ich auch mit dir sein. Ich will dich nicht verlassen5800 noch von6440 dir weichen7503.

6 Be strong2388 and of a good courage:553 for to this2088 people5971 shall you divide for an inheritance5157 the land,776 which834 I swore7650 to their fathers1 to give5414 them.

6 Sei553 getrost2388 und unverzagt; denn du sollst diesem Volk5971 das Land776 austeilen5157, das ich ihren Vätern1 geschworen7650 habe, daß ich‘s ihnen geben5414 wollte.

7 Only7535 be you strong2388 and very3966 courageous,553 that you may observe8104 to do6213 according to all3605 the law,8451 which834 Moses4872 my servant5650 commanded6680 you: turn5493 not from it to the right3225 hand3225 or to the left,8040 that you may prosper7919 wherever3605 834 you go.3212

7 Sei553 nur8104 getrost2388 und sehr3966 freudig, daß du haltest und tust allerdinge nach dem Gesetz8451, das dir Mose4872, mein Knecht5650, geboten6680 hat. Weiche nicht5493 davon3212, weder zur Rechten3225 noch zur Linken8040, auf daß du weislich handeln7919 mögest in allem, das du tun6213 sollst.

8 This2088 book5612 of the law8451 shall not depart4185 out of your mouth;6310 but you shall meditate1897 therein day3119 and night,3915 that you may observe8104 to do6213 according to all3605 that is written3789 therein: for then227 you shall make your way1870 prosperous,6743 and then227 you shall have good success.7919

8 Und laß4185 das Buch5612 dieses Gesetzes8451 nicht von deinem Munde6310 kommen, sondern betrachte1897 es Tag3119 und Nacht3915, auf daß du haltest8104 und tust6213 allerdinge nach dem, das drinnen geschrieben3789 stehet. Alsdann wird dir1870‘s gelingen6743 in allem, das du tust6743, und wirst weislich handeln können7919.

9 Have not I commanded6680 you? Be strong2388 and of a good courage;553 be not afraid,6206 neither408 be you dismayed:2865 for the LORD3068 your God430 is with you wherever3605 834 you go.3212

9 Siehe, ich habe dir geboten6680, daß du getrost2388 und freudig seiest. Laß dir nicht2865 grauen6206 und entsetze dich nicht; denn der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, ist mit dir in allem, das du tun wirst3212.

10 Then Joshua3091 commanded6680 the officers7860 of the people,5971 saying,559

10 Da gebot6680 Josua3091 den Hauptleuten7860 des Volks5971 und sprach559:
|
|
11 Pass5674 through7130 the host,4264 and command6680 the people,5971 saying,559 Prepare3559 you victuals;6720 for within5750 three7969 days3117 you shall pass5674 over5674 this2088 Jordan,3383 to go935 in to possess3423 the land,776 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 gives5414 you to possess3423 it.

11 Gehet durch7130 das Lager4264 und559 gebietet6680 dem Volk5971 und3423 sprechet: Schaffet euch Vorrat6720; denn über5674 drei7969 Tage3117 werdet ihr über diesen Jordan3383 gehen5674, daß ihr hineinkommet935 und das Land776 einnehmet3423, das euch der HErr3068, euer GOtt430, geben5414 wird.

12 And to the Reubenites,7206 and to the Gadites,1425 and to half2677 the tribe7626 of Manasseh,4519 spoke559 Joshua,3091 saying,559

13 Remember2142 the word1697 which834 Moses4872 the servant5650 of the LORD3068 commanded6680 you, saying,559 The LORD3068 your God430 has given you rest,5117 and has given5414 you this2063 land.776

13 Gedenket2142 an das Wort1697, das euch Mose4872, der Knecht5650 des HErrn3068, sagte6680 und sprach559: Der HErr3068, euer GOtt430, hat euch zur Ruhe5117 gebracht und dies Land776 gegeben5414.

14 Your wives,802 your little2945 ones, and your cattle,4735 shall remain3427 in the land776 which834 Moses4872 gave5414 you on this side5676 Jordan;3383 but you shall pass5674 before6440 your brothers251 armed,2571 all3605 the mighty1368 men of valor,2428 and help5826 them;

14 Eure Weiber802 und Kinder2945 und Vieh4735 lasset im Lande6440 bleiben, das776 euch Mose4872 gegeben5414 hat diesseit5676 des Jordans3383; ihr3427 aber sollt vor euren Brüdern251 herziehen gerüstet2571, was streitbare2428 Männer1368 sind5674, und ihnen helfen5826,

15 Until5704 the LORD3068 have given your brothers251 rest,5117 as he has given you, and they also1571 have possessed3423 the land776 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 gives5414 them: then you shall return7725 to the land776 of your possession,3425 and enjoy3423 it, which834 Moses4872 the LORD's3068 servant5650 gave5414 you on this side5676 Jordan3383 toward the sun rise.4217 8121

15 bis daß der HErr3068 eure Brüder251 auch zur Ruhe5117 bringt5117, wie euch, daß sie5414 auch einnehmen3423 das Land776, das ihnen der HErr3068, euer3425 GOtt430, geben5414 wird. Alsdann sollt ihr wieder7725 umkehren in euer Land776, das euch Mose4872, der Knecht5650 des HErrn3068, eingegeben hat zu besitzen3423, diesseit des Jordans3383, gegen5676 der Sonnen Aufgang.

16 And they answered6030 Joshua,3091 saying,559 All3605 that you command6680 us we will do,6213 and wherever413 you send7971 us, we will go.3212

16 Und sie6680 antworteten6030 Josua3091 und sprachen559: Alles, was834 du uns geboten hast7971, das wollen wir tun6213, und wo du uns hinsendest, da wollen wir hingehen3212.

17 According as we listened8085 to Moses4872 in all3605 things, so3651 will we listen8085 to you: only7535 the LORD3068 your God430 be with you, as he was with Moses.4872

17 Wie wir Mose4872 gehorsam8085 sind gewesen8085, so wollen wir dir auch gehorsam sein, allein daß der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, nur mit dir sei, wie er mit Mose4872 war.

18 Whoever376 834 he be that does rebel4784 against your commandment,6310 and will not listen8085 to your words1697 in all3605 that you command6680 him, he shall be put to death:4191 only7535 be strong2388 and of a good courage.553

18 Wer deinem Munde6310 ungehorsam4784 ist und376 nicht gehorchet deinen Worten in allem, das1697 du uns8085 gebeutst, der soll sterben4191. Sei553 nur getrost2388 und unverzagt!
