11 Even to the artificers2796 and builders1129 gave5414 they it, to buy7069 hewn4274 stone,68 and timber6086 for couplings,4226 and to floor7136 853 the houses1004 which834 the kings4428 of Judah3063 had destroyed.7843

18 Then Shaphan8227 the scribe5608 told5046 the king,4428 saying,559 Hilkiah2518 the priest3548 hath given5414 me a book.5612 And Shaphan8227 read7121 it before6440 the king.4428

21 Gehet hin3212, fraget1875 den HErrn3068 für mich und6213 für die übrigen7604 in Israel3478 und für Juda3063 über den Worten des Buchs, das1697 funden ist5413; denn der Grimm2534 des HErrn3068 ist3789 groß1419, der über uns entbrannt ist, daß unsere Väter1 nicht gehalten8104 haben4672 das Wort1697 des HErrn3068, daß sie5612 täten, wie geschrieben stehet in diesem Buch5612.

22 And Hilkiah,2518 and they that834 the king4428 had appointed, went1980 to413 Huldah2468 the prophetess,5031 the wife802 of Shallum7967 the son1121 of Tikvath,8616 the son1121 of Hasrah,2641 keeper8104 of the wardrobe;899 (now she1931 dwelt3427 in Jerusalem3389 in the college: )4932 and they spoke1696 to413 her to that2063 effect.

22 Da ging Hilkia2518 hin3212, samt den andern vom Könige4428 gesandt, zu8104 der Prophetin5031 Hulda2468, dem Weibe802 Sallums7967, des Sohns Takehaths, des Sohns Hasras2641, des Kleiderhüters899, die3427 zu Jerusalem3389 wohnete im andern Teil4932, und1121 redeten1696 solches mit ihr1121.

24 So spricht der HErr3068: Siehe, ich7121 will935 Unglück7451 bringen über diesen Ort4725 und die Einwohner3427, alle die Flüche423, die geschrieben stehen3789 im Buch5612, das man559 vor6440 dem Könige4428 Judas gelesen hat,

25 Because8478 834 they have forsaken5800 me, and have burned incense6999 unto other312 gods,430 that4616 they might provoke me to anger3707 with all3605 the works4639 of their hands;3027 therefore my wrath2534 shall be poured out5413 upon this2088 place,4725 and shall not3808 be quenched.3518

25 darum daß sie mich verlassen5800 haben3707 und430 andern312 Göttern geräuchert, daß sie mich erzürneten mit allerlei Werken4639 ihrer Hände3027. Und mein Grimm2534 soll3518 angezündet werden6999 über diesen Ort4725 und nicht ausgelöschet werden6999.

26 And as for413 the king4428 of Judah,3063 who sent7971 you to inquire1875 of the LORD,3068 so3541 shall ye say559 unto413 him, Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel3478 concerning the words1697 which834 thou hast heard;8085

27 Because3282 thine heart3824 was tender,7401 and thou didst humble thyself3665 before4480 6440 God,430 when thou heardest8085 853 his words1697 against5921 this2088 place,4725 and against5921 the inhabitants3427 thereof, and humbledst thyself3665 before6440 me, and didst rend7167 853 thy clothes,899 and weep1058 before6440 me; I589 have even heard8085 thee also,1571 saith5002 the LORD.3068

27 Darum daß dein Herz3824 weich worden ist7401 und hast8085 dich gedemütigt3665 vor6440 GOtt430, da du1058 seine Worte1697 höretest wider diesen Ort4725 und wider die Einwohner3427, und hast8085 dich vor mir6440 gedemütiget und deine Kleider899 zerrissen7167 und vor mir6440 geweinet, so habe ich dich auch erhöret, spricht5002 der HErr3068.

28 Behold,2009 I will gather622 thee to413 thy fathers,1 and thou shalt be gathered622 to413 thy grave6913 in peace,7965 neither3808 shall thine eyes5869 see7200 all3605 the evil7451 that834 I589 will bring935 upon5921 this2088 place,4725 and upon5921 the inhabitants3427 of the same. So they brought7725 853 the king4428 word1697 again.

28 Siehe, ich will7200 dich sammeln622 zu deinen Vätern1, daß du in dein Grab6913 mit Frieden7965 gesammelt622 werdest7725, daß deine Augen5869 nicht7451 sehen all das1697 Unglück, das ich über diesen Ort4725 und die Einwohner3427 bringen will935. Und sie sagten‘s dem Könige4428 wieder7725.

30 And the king4428 went up5927 into the house1004 of the LORD,3068 and all3605 the men376 of Judah,3063 and the inhabitants3427 of Jerusalem,3389 and the priests,3548 and the Levites,3881 and all3605 the people,5971 great4480 1419 and small:6996 and he read7121 in their ears241 853 all3605 the words1697 of the book5612 of the covenant1285 that was found4672 in the house1004 of the LORD.3068

30 Und376 der König4428 ging5927 hinauf ins Haus1004 des HErrn3068 und3548 alle Männer Judas und Einwohner3427 zu Jerusalem3389, die Priester, die Leviten3881 und alles Volk5971, beide klein6996 und groß1419; und wurden7121 vor ihren Ohren241 gelesen alle Worte im Buch5612 des Bundes1285, das1697 im Hause1004 des HErrn3068 funden war4672.

31 And the king4428 stood5975 in5921 his place,5977 and made3772 853 a covenant1285 before6440 the LORD,3068 to walk1980 after310 the LORD,3068 and to keep8104 853 his commandments,4687 and his testimonies,5715 and his statutes,2706 with all3605 his heart,3824 and with all3605 his soul,5315 to perform6213 853 the words1697 of the covenant1285 which are written3789 in5921 this2088 book.5612

31 Und der König4428 trat5975 an seinen Ort5977 und machte3772 einen Bund1285 vor6440 dem HErrn3068, daß man dem HErrn3068 nachwandeln sollte, zu8104 halten3212 seine Gebote4687, Zeugnisse5715 und Rechte2706 von ganzem Herzen3824 und von ganzer See LE5315, zu tun6213 nach310 allen Worten1697 des Bundes1285, die geschrieben3789 stunden in diesem Buch5612.

32 And he caused853 all3605 that were present4672 in Jerusalem3389 and Benjamin1144 to stand5975 to it. And the inhabitants3427 of Jerusalem3389 did6213 according to the covenant1285 of God,430 the God430 of their fathers.1

32 Und5975 stunden da alle, die zu6213 Jerusalem3389 und in Benjamin1144 vorhanden waren4672. Und die Einwohner3427 zu Jerusalem3389 taten nach dem Bunde1285 Gottes430, ihrer Väter1 Gottes430.

33 And Josiah2977 took away5493 853 all3605 the abominations8441 out of4480 all3605 the countries776 that834 pertained to the children1121 of Israel,3478 and made853 all3605 that were present4672 in Israel3478 to serve,5647 even to serve5647 853 the LORD3068 their God.430 And all3605 his days3117 they departed5493 not3808 from following4480 310 the LORD,3068 the God430 of their fathers.1

33 Und5647 Josia2977 tat5493 weg alle Greuel8441 aus allen Landen776, die der Kinder1121 Israel3478 waren310, und5647 schaffte, daß alle, die in Israel3478 funden wurden4672, dem HErrn3068, ihrem GOtt430, dieneten. Solange Josia lebte3117, wichen sie5493 nicht von dem HErrn3068, ihrer Väter1 GOtt430.
