2 Höret, alle Völker5971, merke auf7181, Land776, und5707 alles, was drinnen ist4393! Denn GOtt136 der HErr136 hat8085 mit euch zu reden, ja, der HErr3069 aus seinem heiligen6944 Tempel1964!

3 For,3588 behold,2009 the LORD3068 cometh forth3318 out of his place,4480 4725 and will come down,3381 and tread1869 upon5921 the high places1116 of the earth.776

3 Denn siehe, der HErr3068 wird ausgehen aus3318 seinem Ort4725 und herabfahren3381 und treten1869 auf die Höhen1116 im Lande776,

4 And the mountains2022 shall be molten4549 under8478 him, and the valleys6010 shall be cleft,1234 as wax1749 before4480 6440 the fire,784 and as the waters4325 that are poured down5064 a steep place.4174

4 daß die Berge2022 unter6440 ihm schmelzen4549 und die Täler6010 reißen1234 werden, gleichwie Wachs1749 vor dem Feuer784 verschmilzet, wie die Wasser4325, so unterwärts fließen5064.

5 Das alles um der Übertretung6588 willen Jakobs3290 und um der Sünde2403 willen des Hauses1004 Israel3478. Welches ist aber die Übertretung6588 Jakobs3290? Ist‘s nicht Samaria8111? Welches sind aber die Höhen1116 Judas? Ist‘s nicht Jerusalem3389?

6 Therefore I will make7760 Samaria8111 as a heap5856 of the field,7704 and as plantings4302 of a vineyard:3754 and I will pour down5064 the stones68 thereof into the valley,1516 and I will discover1540 the foundations3247 thereof.

6 Und68 ich will Samaria8111 zum Steinhaufen5856 im Felde7704 machen7760, die man um die Weinberge3754 legt; und will ihre Steine4302 ins Tal1516 schleifen5064 und zugrunde einbrechen1540.

7 Alle ihre Götzen6456 sollen zerbrochen und7760 all ihr Hurenlohn868 soll mit Feuer784 verbrannt werden8313, und will alle ihre Bilder6091 verwüsten8077; denn sie sind3807 von Hurenlohn868 versammelt6908 und sollen auch wieder7725 Hurenlohn868 werden.

8 Therefore5921 2063 I will wail5594 and howl,3213 I will go1980 stripped7758 and naked:6174 I will make6213 a wailing4553 like the dragons,8568 and mourning60 as the owls.1323 3284

8 Darüber muß ich klagen5594 und6213 heulen3213; ich muß beraubt7758 und bloß6174 dahergehen; ich muß klagen4553 wie3212 die Drachen8577 und trauern60 wie die Straußen.

9 For3588 her wound4347 is incurable;605 for3588 it is come935 unto5704 Judah;3063 he is come5060 unto5704 the gate8179 of my people,5971 even to5704 Jerusalem.3389

9 Denn ihrer Plage4347 ist935 kein Rat605, die bis nach5060 Juda3063 kommen und bis an meines Volks5971 Tore8179 gen Jerusalem3389 hinanreichen wird.

10 Declare5046 ye it not408 at Gath,1661 weep ye not at all:1058 408 1058 in the house1004 of Aphrah1036 roll thyself6428 in the dust.6083

10 Verkündiget5046 es ja nicht zu Gath1661, laßt euch nicht hören weinen1058, sondern gehet in die Trauerkammer und sitzet in die Asche6083!

11 Pass ye away,5674 thou inhabitant3427 of Saphir,8208 having thy shame1322 naked:6181 the inhabitant3427 of Zaanan6630 came not forth3318 3808 in the mourning4553 of Beth-ezel;1018 he shall receive3947 of4480 you his standing.5979

11 Du schöne Stadt3427 mußt dahin5674 mit allen6181 Schanden1322. Die Einwohnerin Zaenans6630 wird nicht ausziehen um des Leides willen des nächsten Hauses. Er wird‘s von3318 euch nehmen3947, wenn er da sich3427 lagern wird.

12 For3588 the inhabitant3427 of Maroth4796 waited carefully2470 for good:2896 but3588 evil7451 came down3381 from4480 854 the LORD3068 unto the gate8179 of Jerusalem.3389

12 Die betrübte Stadt vermag sich3427 nicht7451 zu trösten2896; denn es wird2342 das Unglück vom HErrn3068 kommen3381, auch bis an das Tor8179 Jerusalems3389.

13 O thou inhabitant3427 of Lachish,3923 bind7573 the chariot4818 to the swift beast:7409 she1931 is the beginning7225 of the sin2403 to the daughter1323 of Zion:6726 for3588 the transgressions6588 of Israel3478 were found4672 in thee.

13 Du Stadt3427 Lachis3923, spanne7573 Läufer an4818 und fahre davon; denn du bist der Tochter1323 Zion6726 der Anfang7225 zur Sünde2403, und in dir sind4672 funden die Übertretungen6588 Israels3478.

14 Therefore3651 shalt thou give5414 presents7964 to5921 Moresheth-gath:4182 the houses1004 of Achzib392 shall be a lie391 to the kings4428 of Israel.3478

14 Du wirst müssen Gefangene geben5414 so wohl als Gath4182. Der Stadt1004 Achsib392 wird‘s mit den Königen4428 Israels3478 fehlen.

15 Yet5750 will I bring935 an heir3423 unto thee, O inhabitant3427 of Mareshah:4762 he shall come935 unto5704 Adullam5725 the glory3519 of Israel.3478

15 Ich will935 dir Maresa, den rechten Erben3423 bringen; und die3427 Herrlichkeit3519 Israels3478 soll kommen935 bis gen Adullam5725.

16 Make thee bald,7139 and poll1494 thee for5921 thy delicate8588 children;1121 enlarge7337 thy baldness7144 as the eagle;5404 for3588 they are gone into captivity1540 from4480 thee.

16 Laß die Haare abscheren1494 und1121 gehe kahl7139 über deine zarten Kinder8588! Mache7337 dich gar kahl7144 wie ein Adler5404; denn sie sind von dir gefangen1540 weggeführet.
