1 PAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to those who are in Eph'e-sus, saints and believers in Jesus Christ: |
|
2 Peace be with you and grace from God our Father, and from our LORD Jesus Christ: |
|
3 Blessed be the God, and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heaven through Christ: |
|
4 Just as from the beginning he has chosen us through him, before the foundation of the world, that we may become holy and without blemish before him. |
|
5 And he marked us with his love to be his from the beginning, and adopted us to be sons through Jesus Christ, as it pleased his will. |
|
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace that he has poured upon us by his beloved one. |
|
7 In him we have salvation, and in his blood, forgiveness of sins, according to the richness of his grace; |
|
8 That that grace which has abounded in us, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; |
|
9 And because he has made known to us the mystery of his will, as he has ordained from the very beginning, to work through it; |
|
10 As a dispensation of the fulness of times, that all things might be made new in heaven and on earth through Christ: |
|
11 By whom we have been chosen, as he had marked us from the beginning so he wanted to carry out everything according to the good judgment of his will: |
|
12 That we should become the first to trust in Christ, to his honor and his glory: |
|
13 In whom, you also have heard the word of truth, which is the gospel for your salvation: in him you have believed, so you are sealed with the Holy Spirit that was promised, |
|
14 Which is the pledge of our inheritance, for the salvation of those who are saved, and for the glory of his honour. |
|
15 Wherefore I also, since I heard of your faith in our LORD Jesus Christ, and your love toward all the saints, |
|
16 Never cease to give thanks for your sakes and to mention you in my prayers; |
|
17 So that the God of our LORD Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: |
|
18 And so that the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the glorious riches of his inheritance in the saints; |
|
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power in us as the result of the things we believe, according to the skill of his mighty power, |
|
20 Which he wrought through Christ, when he raised him from the dead and set him at his own right hand in heaven, |
|
21 Far above all angels and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in the world which is to come: |
|
22 And has put all things under his feet, and made him, who is above all things, the head of the church, |
|
23 Which is his body, and confirmation of him who fulfills all things and every thing. |

2 — благодать вам и мир от Бога, Отца нашего, и Господа Иисуса Христа. |
|

|
4 как и избрал Он нас в Нем прежде основания мира, чтобы быть нам пред Ним святыми и непорочными, в любви |
|
5 предопределив нас к усыновлению Ему чрез Иисуса Христа, по благоволению воли Своей, |
|
6 в похвалу славы благодати Своей, которою Он облагодатствовал нас в Возлюбленном, |
|
7 в Котором мы имеем искупление кровью Его, отпущение согрешений по богатству благодати Его, |
|
8 которую Он в изобилии излил на нас во всякой премудрости и разумении, |
|
9 поведав нам тайну воли Своей, по благоволению Своему, которое Он предустановил в Нем |
|
10 для осуществления полноты времен, чтобы соединить всё небесное и земное под главою Христом, в Нем, |
|
11 в Котором и мы были взяты в удел, будучи предопределены по предустановлению Совершающего всё по решению воли Своей, |
|
12 чтобы мы были в похвалу славы Его, мы, которые ранее возложили надежду на Христа. |
|
13 В Нем и вы, услышав слово истины, Евангелие спасения вашего, в Него уверовав, были запечатлены обещанным Духом Святым, |
|
14 Который есть залог наследия нашего, для искупления достояния, в похвалу славы Его. |
|
15 |
|
16 не перестаю благодарить за вас, вспоминая вас в молитвах моих, |
|
17 чтобы Бог Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, Отец славы, дал вам духа премудрости и откровения в познании Его, |
|
18 просветил очи сердца вашего, чтобы вы знали, что есть надежда призвания Его, что — богатство славы наследия Его во святых, |
|
19 и что — безмерное величие силы Его в нас, верующих по действию державы силы Его, |
|
20 которою Он воздействовал во Христе, воздвигнув Его из мертвых и посадив по правую Свою сторону на небесах |
|
21 превыше всякого начала, и власти, и силы, и господства и всякого имени, именуемого не только в этом веке, но и в будущем; |
|
22 и Он всё подчинил под ноги Его, и как главу над всем дал Его Церкви, |
|
23 которая есть Тело Его, полнота Наполняющего всё во всём. |

4 как и избрал Он нас в Нем прежде основания мира, чтобы быть нам пред Ним святыми и непорочными, в любви |

5 And he marked us with his love to be his from the beginning, and adopted us to be sons through Jesus Christ, as it pleased his will. |
5 предопределив нас к усыновлению Ему чрез Иисуса Христа, по благоволению воли Своей, |
|

17 So that the God of our LORD Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: |
17 чтобы Бог Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, Отец славы, дал вам духа премудрости и откровения в познании Его, |
|

21 Far above all angels and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in the world which is to come: |
21 превыше всякого начала, и власти, и силы, и господства и всякого имени, именуемого не только в этом веке, но и в будущем; |
|
22 And has put all things under his feet, and made him, who is above all things, the head of the church, |
22 и Он всё подчинил под ноги Его, и как главу над всем дал Его Церкви, |
|
23 Which is his body, and confirmation of him who fulfills all things and every thing. |
23 которая есть Тело Его, полнота Наполняющего всё во всём. |
