Глава 4

1 Увидел я после этого открытую в небе дверь, и снова донесся до меня голос громкий, звучавший как труба, который я слышал раньше. «Взойди сюда, — сказал он. — Я покажу тебе, что произойдет после того, что уже увидел ты».

2 И тотчас объял меня Дух — увидел я, что на небе стоит престол и на нем Кто-то сидит.

3 Лик Его сиял, как драгоценные камни, как бриллиант и сердолик; престол окружала яркая, как изумруд, радуга.

4 Я видел, что вокруг этого престола стояли и еще двадцать четыре престола, на которых восседали старцы, облаченные в белые одежды, с золотыми венцами на головах.

5 От престола исходили молнии, доносились рокот и раскаты грома, горели у престола семь ярких факелов, семь духов Божьих,

6 и простиралось перед ним нечто, подобное морю стеклянному или кристаллу. Прямо у самого престола, вокруг него, были четыре живых существа со множеством глаз и спереди, и сзади.

7 Первое из них льву было подобно, второе походило на тельца, лицо третьего напоминало человеческое, четвертое существо похоже было на летящего орла.

8 У каждого из этих существ было по шесть крыльев и всюду-всюду, даже под крыльями, множество глаз. И восклицают они беспрестанно, днем и ночью: «Свят, свят, свят Господь Бог Вседержитель, Тот, Кто был, Кто есть, Кто грядет!»

9 Всякий раз, когда воздавали они так славу и честь Сидящему на престоле и возносили Ему, Живущему во веки веков, благодарение,

10 все двадцать четыре старца падали ниц пред Сидящим на престоле и поклонялись Живущему во веки веков. Они слагали венцы свои перед престолом, говоря:

11 «Тебе, Господь, Бог наш, и слава, и честь, и власть по праву, ведь Ты сотворил всё и по Твоей воле существует всё созданное Тобой».

Chapter 4

1 AFTER these things I looked and be hold a door was open in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up here, and I will show you things which must come to pass.

2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

3 And he who sat resembled a stone of jasper and sardonyx and round about the throne was a rainbow resembling emeralds.

4 Round about the throne were four and twenty seats; and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and noises: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

6 And before the throne was a sea of glass resembling crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about it, and in front of the throne, were four beasts, full of eyes before and behind.

7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast was like a calf, and the third beast had a face of a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.

8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about it; and they were full of eyes within; and they had no rest day and night saying, Holy, holy, holy, the LORD God Almighty, who was and is, and is to come.

9 And when those wild beasts give glory and honor and thanks to him who sat on the throne, who lives for ever and ever,

10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him who sat on the throne, and worship him who lives for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

11 You are worthy, O our Holy LORD and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you have created all things, and by you, they are, and by your will, they are and were created.

8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about it; and they were full of eyes within; and they had no rest day and night saying, Holy, holy, holy, the LORD God Almighty, who was and is, and is to come.

9 Всякий раз, когда воздавали они так славу и честь Сидящему на престоле и возносили Ему, Живущему во веки веков, благодарение,

9 And when those wild beasts give glory and honor and thanks to him who sat on the throne, who lives for ever and ever,

10 все двадцать четыре старца падали ниц пред Сидящим на престоле и поклонялись Живущему во веки веков. Они слагали венцы свои перед престолом, говоря:

10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him who sat on the throne, and worship him who lives for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

11 «Тебе, Господь, Бог наш, и слава, и честь, и власть по праву, ведь Ты сотворил всё и по Твоей воле существует всё созданное Тобой».

11 You are worthy, O our Holy LORD and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you have created all things, and by you, they are, and by your will, they are and were created.
