Послание апостола Павла христианам в Эфесе

Глава 4

1 И вот, узник во Господе, взываю я к вам: коль вы призваны Богом, так живите достойно, в согласии с вашим высоким призванием,

2 в глубоком смирении живите, будьте кротки и терпеливы, снисходительны будьте друг ко другу в духе любви.

3 Делайте всё возможное, чтобы сохранять вам в мирном союзе то единство, что даруется Духом:

4 одно тело и Дух один, как и одна надежда, к которой призвал вас Бог,

5 один Господь, одна вера, одно крещение,

6 один Бог и Отец всех, Который над всеми и действует через всех и во всех.

7 Однако и другое помните: каждому из нас дан особый дар, соответственно тому, что так щедро ниспослано было Христом.

8 Писание говорит поэтому: «Поднялся Он в высь небесную, пленных взял в плен и дал людям дары».

9 (А что означает «поднялся», как не то, что Он «нисходил», был и в самом низу, на самой земле?

10 Тот, Кто нисходил, Он же и взошел превыше всех небес, чтобы всё наполнить Собою.)

11 Он Сам раздал дары, дары разные: одним положил быть апостолами, другим — пророками, иным — благовестниками, иным же — пастырями и учителями,

12 чтобы полностью приготовить Божий народ к делу служения, к созиданию Тела Христова — Церкви Его,

13 пока не достигнем мы все единства в вере, в познании Божьего Сына, пока не придем к той зрелости, которая соответствует полноте возраста Христова.

14 Не можем мы более оставаться детьми, беззащитными пред ветрами лживых учений тех людей, которые хитростью своей совращают в заблуждение.

15 Будем вместо того возвещать истину в духе любви, будем расти и взрослеть, уподобляясь во всём Христу. Он — Глава,

16 и от Него всё Тело зависит. Растет оно при соразмерном действии каждой из его частей, тесно соединяемых и скрепляемых между собой посредством всех поддерживающих связей, оно растет и созидается в любви.

17 И вот, я это говорю и настаиваю на этом во имя Господне, чтобы вы не поступали больше, как поступают язычники, суетные в своих мыслях,

18 от помрачения рассудка. Из-за своего неведения и упорства они чуждаются Божьей жизни

19 и, потеряв всякий стыд, предаются распутству, ненасытно ища удовольствия во всевозможных мерзостях.

20 Но вы не этому учились у Христа,

21 если и в самом деле слышали весть Его и, пребывая в Нем, научены были той истине, что в Иисусе:

22 отказаться вам должно от прежнего образа жизни, от старой своей, обманутой похотями, тленной природы.

23 Сам образ мыслей ваших должен обновиться,

24 и надо вам облечься в природу нового человека, созданного по образу Божьему в праведности и святости, которые порождены истиной.

25 Покончим же со всякой ложью! Будем каждый говорить истину ближнему своему, ведь все мы связаны друг с другом как части одного тела.

26 В самом гневе вашем не согрешайте: прекращайте гневаться еще до захода солнца.

27 Не давайте места в вашей жизни дьяволу.

28 Кто крал, пусть не крадет более, а лучше трудится прилежно, делая [своими] руками что-нибудь полезное, чтобы было из чего уделять нуждающемуся.

29 Пусть не исходит из ваших уст никакое худое слово, но только доброе, какое нужно для назидания других, какое приносило бы благословение слушающим.

30 И не печальте Святого Духа Божьего, печатью Которого вы отмечены в преддверии дня искупления.

31 Пусть не будет у вас впредь ни горечи и вспыльчивости, ни гнева, крика и злословия, как и всякого иного зла.

32 Будьте, [напротив], взаимно добры и милосердны, прощайте друг друга, как и Бог вас простил во Христе.

Ephesians

Chapter 4

1 I THEREFORE, a prisoner of our LORD, beseech you to live as is worthy of the rank to which you are called,

2 With all humility and gentleness and with patience, forbearing one another in love,

3 Endeavoring to preserve the harmony of the Spirit in the bond of peace,

4 That you may become one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling;

5 There is one LORD, one faith, and one baptism;

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in all of us.

7 But to every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

8 Wherefore it is said, He ascended on high, and took possession of heaven and gave good gifts to men.

9 Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the inner parts of the earth?

10 So he that descended is the same also that ascended far above all heavens, that he might fulfil all things.

11 And he has assigned some, apostles, and some, prophets, and some, evangelists, and some, pastors, and some, teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Until we all become one in faith, and in the knowledge of the Son of God, and become a perfect man according to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be not as children easily stirred and carried away by every wind of false doctrines of men who through their craftiness are artful in deceiving the people;

15 But that we be sincere in our love, so that in everything we may progress through Christ, who is the head.

16 It is through him that the whole body is closely and firmly united at all joints, according to the measure of the gift which is given to every member, for the guidance and control of the body, in order to complete the edifying of the body in love.

17 This I say therefore and testify in the LORD: that you henceforth live not as other Gentiles, who live in the vanity of their mind,

18 And whose understanding is dark, and who are alienated from the life of God, because they have no knowledge, and because of the blindness of their hearts;

19 And who have given up their hope, and have surrendered themselves to wantonness, and to the practice of all uncleanness in their covetousness.

20 But that is not what you have been taught about Christ;

21 If you have truly heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is found in Jesus:

22 That you lay aside all your former practices, that is to say, the old man which is degenerated with deceitful lusts;

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

24 And that you put on the new man, who is created by God in righteousness and true holiness.

25 Wherefore you must put away from you lying, and speak the truth every man with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.

26 Be angry, but sin not: and let not the sun go down upon your anger;

27 And do not give the devil a chance.

28 From henceforth let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor with his hands and do good deeds, that he may have something to give to him who is in need.

29 Let no bad word proceed from your mouth, but words that are good and useful for edification, that they will impart blessing to those who hear them.

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of salvation.

31 Let all bitterness and wrath, and anger, and clamouring and blasphemy be put away from you, together with all malice:

32 And be kind one to another and tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God has forgiven us through Christ.

1 И вот, узник во Господе, взываю я к вам: коль вы призваны Богом, так живите достойно, в согласии с вашим высоким призванием,

2 в глубоком смирении живите, будьте кротки и терпеливы, снисходительны будьте друг ко другу в духе любви.

3 Делайте всё возможное, чтобы сохранять вам в мирном союзе то единство, что даруется Духом:

3 Endeavoring to preserve the harmony of the Spirit in the bond of peace,

4 одно тело и Дух один, как и одна надежда, к которой призвал вас Бог,

4 That you may become one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling;

5 один Господь, одна вера, одно крещение,

5 There is one LORD, one faith, and one baptism;

6 один Бог и Отец всех, Который над всеми и действует через всех и во всех.

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in all of us.

7 Однако и другое помните: каждому из нас дан особый дар, соответственно тому, что так щедро ниспослано было Христом.

7 But to every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

8 Писание говорит поэтому: «Поднялся Он в высь небесную, пленных взял в плен и дал людям дары».

8 Wherefore it is said, He ascended on high, and took possession of heaven and gave good gifts to men.

9 (А что означает «поднялся», как не то, что Он «нисходил», был и в самом низу, на самой земле?

9 Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the inner parts of the earth?

10 Тот, Кто нисходил, Он же и взошел превыше всех небес, чтобы всё наполнить Собою.)

10 So he that descended is the same also that ascended far above all heavens, that he might fulfil all things.

11 Он Сам раздал дары, дары разные: одним положил быть апостолами, другим — пророками, иным — благовестниками, иным же — пастырями и учителями,

11 And he has assigned some, apostles, and some, prophets, and some, evangelists, and some, pastors, and some, teachers;

12 чтобы полностью приготовить Божий народ к делу служения, к созиданию Тела Христова — Церкви Его,

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 пока не достигнем мы все единства в вере, в познании Божьего Сына, пока не придем к той зрелости, которая соответствует полноте возраста Христова.

13 Until we all become one in faith, and in the knowledge of the Son of God, and become a perfect man according to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 Не можем мы более оставаться детьми, беззащитными пред ветрами лживых учений тех людей, которые хитростью своей совращают в заблуждение.

15 Будем вместо того возвещать истину в духе любви, будем расти и взрослеть, уподобляясь во всём Христу. Он — Глава,

16 и от Него всё Тело зависит. Растет оно при соразмерном действии каждой из его частей, тесно соединяемых и скрепляемых между собой посредством всех поддерживающих связей, оно растет и созидается в любви.

17 И вот, я это говорю и настаиваю на этом во имя Господне, чтобы вы не поступали больше, как поступают язычники, суетные в своих мыслях,

17 This I say therefore and testify in the LORD: that you henceforth live not as other Gentiles, who live in the vanity of their mind,

18 от помрачения рассудка. Из-за своего неведения и упорства они чуждаются Божьей жизни

18 And whose understanding is dark, and who are alienated from the life of God, because they have no knowledge, and because of the blindness of their hearts;

19 и, потеряв всякий стыд, предаются распутству, ненасытно ища удовольствия во всевозможных мерзостях.

19 And who have given up their hope, and have surrendered themselves to wantonness, and to the practice of all uncleanness in their covetousness.

20 Но вы не этому учились у Христа,

20 But that is not what you have been taught about Christ;

21 если и в самом деле слышали весть Его и, пребывая в Нем, научены были той истине, что в Иисусе:

21 If you have truly heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is found in Jesus:

22 отказаться вам должно от прежнего образа жизни, от старой своей, обманутой похотями, тленной природы.

22 That you lay aside all your former practices, that is to say, the old man which is degenerated with deceitful lusts;

23 Сам образ мыслей ваших должен обновиться,

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

24 и надо вам облечься в природу нового человека, созданного по образу Божьему в праведности и святости, которые порождены истиной.

24 And that you put on the new man, who is created by God in righteousness and true holiness.

25 Покончим же со всякой ложью! Будем каждый говорить истину ближнему своему, ведь все мы связаны друг с другом как части одного тела.

25 Wherefore you must put away from you lying, and speak the truth every man with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.

26 В самом гневе вашем не согрешайте: прекращайте гневаться еще до захода солнца.

26 Be angry, but sin not: and let not the sun go down upon your anger;

27 Не давайте места в вашей жизни дьяволу.

27 And do not give the devil a chance.

28 Кто крал, пусть не крадет более, а лучше трудится прилежно, делая [своими] руками что-нибудь полезное, чтобы было из чего уделять нуждающемуся.

28 From henceforth let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor with his hands and do good deeds, that he may have something to give to him who is in need.

29 Пусть не исходит из ваших уст никакое худое слово, но только доброе, какое нужно для назидания других, какое приносило бы благословение слушающим.

29 Let no bad word proceed from your mouth, but words that are good and useful for edification, that they will impart blessing to those who hear them.

30 И не печальте Святого Духа Божьего, печатью Которого вы отмечены в преддверии дня искупления.

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of salvation.

31 Пусть не будет у вас впредь ни горечи и вспыльчивости, ни гнева, крика и злословия, как и всякого иного зла.

31 Let all bitterness and wrath, and anger, and clamouring and blasphemy be put away from you, together with all malice:

32 Будьте, [напротив], взаимно добры и милосердны, прощайте друг друга, как и Бог вас простил во Христе.

32 And be kind one to another and tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God has forgiven us through Christ.
