1-я книга Царств

Глава 3

1 Отрок Самуил служил Господу при Илии священнике. Слово Господне редко было в те дни, и видения были не часты.

2 И случилось в то время, когда Илий лежал на своем месте (глаза же его начали ослабевать, и он не мог видеть),

3 И светильник Божий еще не погас, и Самуил лежал во храме Господнем, где находился ковчег Божий,

4 Воззвал Господь Самуила. Он сказал: вот я!

5 И побежал к Илию, и сказал: вот я, ты звал меня. Но Илий сказал: я тебя не звал; пойди назад, спи. Он пошел и лег.

6 Но Господь опять звал Самуила. Самуил встал и пришел к Илию, и сказал: вот я, ты звал меня. Но он сказал: я не звал, сын мой, пойди назад, спи.

7 Самуил же еще не знал Господа, и еще не открывалось ему слово Господне.

8 Господь еще в третий раз позвал Самуила. Он встал, и пришел к Илию, и сказал: вот я, ты звал меня; и догадался Илий, что Господь зовет отрока.

9 И сказал Илий Самуилу: пойди, спи; и когда зовущий позовет тебя, ты скажи: говори, Господи; ибо слышит раб Твой. И пошел Самуил, и лег на месте своем.

10 И пришел Господь, и стал, и звал как прежде: Самуил, Самуил! И сказал Самуил: говори, ибо слышит раб Твой.

11 И сказал Господь Самуилу: вот, Я сделаю дело у Израиля, о котором кто услышит, у того зазвенит в обоих ушах.

12 В тот день совершу Я над Илием все то, что Я говорил о доме его, от начала и до конца.

13 Я объявил ему, что Я накажу дом его на веки за ту вину, что он знал, как сыновья его навлекают проклятие на себя, и не удерживал их.

14 И посему клянусь дому Илия, что вина дома Илиева не загладится ни жертвами, ни приношениями хлебными вовек.

15 И спал Самуил до утра; тогда он отворил двери дома Господня, и боялся Самуил объявить видение сие Илию.

16 Илий позвал Самуила, и сказал: сын мой, Самуил! Он сказал: вот я.

17 И сказал Илий: что тебе сказано, не скрой от меня; то и то сделает с тобою Бог, и то и то прибавит, если ты скроешь от меня что-либо из всего того, что сказано тебе.

18 И объявил ему Самуил все, и не скрыл от него ничего. Тогда сказал Илий: Он - Господь; пусть делает, что Ему угодно.

19 Самуил возрос, и Господь был с ним, и не дал ни одному слову его упасть на землю.

20 И узнал весь Израиль от Дана до Вирсавии, что Самуил утвержден в пророка Господня.

21 И продолжал Господь являться в Силоме; потому что открывался Господь Самуилу в Силоме чрез слово Господне.

1 Samuel

Chapter 3

1 AND the boy Samuel was ministering to the LORD, assisting Eli the priest. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision.

2 And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was lying down in his bed, and his eyes had begun to grow dim so that he could not see;

3 And the lamp of the LORD was not yet put out, and Samuel was lying down to sleep in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was.

4 And the LORD called Samuel; and he answered, Here I am.

5 And he ran to Eli and said, Here I am; for you called me. And he said, I did not call; go back and lie down. And he went and lay down.

6 And the LORD called again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here I am; for you did call me. And he answered, I did not call, my son; go back and lie down.

7 Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD revealed to him.

8 And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here I am; for you did call me. Then Eli perceived that the LORD had called the boy.

9 Therefore Eli said to Samuel, Go back and lie down; and it shall be, if he calls you, you shall say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant hears. So Samuel went back and lay down in his place.

10 And the LORD came and stood and called twice, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel said, Speak, LORD; for thy servant hears.

11 And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do such a thing in Israel that whoever shall hear of it, shall give heed.

12 In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house, from beginning to end.

13 And I will show him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knew when his sons reviled the people and he did not rebuke them.

14 Therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli that the iniquity of Eli's household shall not be purged with sacrifices nor offerings for ever.

15 And Samuel lay until the morning; then he opened the doors of the house of the LORD. And Samuel feared to tell the vision to Eli.

16 Then Eli called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here am I.

17 And he said to him, What is the thing that the LORD has said to you? Do not be afraid of me. May God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the things that the LORD said to you.

18 And Samuel told him everything, and hid nothing from him. And Eli said, It is the LORD; let him do what is good in his sight.

19 And Samuel knew that the LORD was with him, and he did not ignore any of his words.

20 And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel was to be a prophet of the LORD.

21 And the LORD continued to reveal himself by his words in Shiloh; and Samuel's words were declared throughout all Israel.

1 AND the boy Samuel was ministering to the LORD, assisting Eli the priest. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision.

2 И случилось в то время, когда Илий лежал на своем месте (глаза же его начали ослабевать, и он не мог видеть),

2 And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was lying down in his bed, and his eyes had begun to grow dim so that he could not see;

3 И светильник Божий еще не погас, и Самуил лежал во храме Господнем, где находился ковчег Божий,

3 And the lamp of the LORD was not yet put out, and Samuel was lying down to sleep in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was.

4 Воззвал Господь Самуила. Он сказал: вот я!

4 And the LORD called Samuel; and he answered, Here I am.

5 И побежал к Илию, и сказал: вот я, ты звал меня. Но Илий сказал: я тебя не звал; пойди назад, спи. Он пошел и лег.

5 And he ran to Eli and said, Here I am; for you called me. And he said, I did not call; go back and lie down. And he went and lay down.

6 Но Господь опять звал Самуила. Самуил встал и пришел к Илию, и сказал: вот я, ты звал меня. Но он сказал: я не звал, сын мой, пойди назад, спи.

6 And the LORD called again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here I am; for you did call me. And he answered, I did not call, my son; go back and lie down.

7 Самуил же еще не знал Господа, и еще не открывалось ему слово Господне.

7 Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD revealed to him.

8 Господь еще в третий раз позвал Самуила. Он встал, и пришел к Илию, и сказал: вот я, ты звал меня; и догадался Илий, что Господь зовет отрока.

8 And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here I am; for you did call me. Then Eli perceived that the LORD had called the boy.

9 И сказал Илий Самуилу: пойди, спи; и когда зовущий позовет тебя, ты скажи: говори, Господи; ибо слышит раб Твой. И пошел Самуил, и лег на месте своем.

9 Therefore Eli said to Samuel, Go back and lie down; and it shall be, if he calls you, you shall say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant hears. So Samuel went back and lay down in his place.

10 И пришел Господь, и стал, и звал как прежде: Самуил, Самуил! И сказал Самуил: говори, ибо слышит раб Твой.

10 And the LORD came and stood and called twice, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel said, Speak, LORD; for thy servant hears.

11 И сказал Господь Самуилу: вот, Я сделаю дело у Израиля, о котором кто услышит, у того зазвенит в обоих ушах.

11 And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do such a thing in Israel that whoever shall hear of it, shall give heed.

12 В тот день совершу Я над Илием все то, что Я говорил о доме его, от начала и до конца.

12 In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house, from beginning to end.

13 Я объявил ему, что Я накажу дом его на веки за ту вину, что он знал, как сыновья его навлекают проклятие на себя, и не удерживал их.

13 And I will show him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knew when his sons reviled the people and he did not rebuke them.

14 И посему клянусь дому Илия, что вина дома Илиева не загладится ни жертвами, ни приношениями хлебными вовек.

14 Therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli that the iniquity of Eli's household shall not be purged with sacrifices nor offerings for ever.

15 И спал Самуил до утра; тогда он отворил двери дома Господня, и боялся Самуил объявить видение сие Илию.

15 And Samuel lay until the morning; then he opened the doors of the house of the LORD. And Samuel feared to tell the vision to Eli.

16 Илий позвал Самуила, и сказал: сын мой, Самуил! Он сказал: вот я.

16 Then Eli called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here am I.

17 И сказал Илий: что тебе сказано, не скрой от меня; то и то сделает с тобою Бог, и то и то прибавит, если ты скроешь от меня что-либо из всего того, что сказано тебе.

17 And he said to him, What is the thing that the LORD has said to you? Do not be afraid of me. May God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the things that the LORD said to you.

18 И объявил ему Самуил все, и не скрыл от него ничего. Тогда сказал Илий: Он - Господь; пусть делает, что Ему угодно.

18 And Samuel told him everything, and hid nothing from him. And Eli said, It is the LORD; let him do what is good in his sight.

19 Самуил возрос, и Господь был с ним, и не дал ни одному слову его упасть на землю.

19 And Samuel knew that the LORD was with him, and he did not ignore any of his words.

20 И узнал весь Израиль от Дана до Вирсавии, что Самуил утвержден в пророка Господня.

20 And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel was to be a prophet of the LORD.

21 И продолжал Господь являться в Силоме; потому что открывался Господь Самуилу в Силоме чрез слово Господне.

21 And the LORD continued to reveal himself by his words in Shiloh; and Samuel's words were declared throughout all Israel.
