Глава 41

1 Господь говорит: «Далёкие страны, утихните и внимательно слушайте Меня. Набравшись смелости, скажите: давайте все соберёмся и решим, кто прав.

2 Ответь, кто разбудил пришедшего с востока человека, которого Правосудие сопровождает? Он покоряет всех царей, они от его лука разбегаются подобно соломе на ветру.

3 Он армии преследует спокойно, идёт дорогами, где раньше не бывал, и ничто не повредит ему.

4 Кто всё это совершил? Кто с самого начала жизнью народов управлял? Всё это сделал Я — Господь. Я первым был здесь, когда всё начиналось, и Я последним буду, когда всё подойдёт к концу.

5 Увидев это, все прибрежные страны от страха трепетали, а затем ко Мне пришли.

6 Все работники помогают друг другу и подбадривают друг друга, чтобы сильнее быть.

7 Один валит деревья, чтобы вырезать из них статую, он ободряет мастера по золоту. Кузнец молотом отбивает листы железа и подбадривает того, кто у наковальни. Тот, кто осматривает спайку, говорит: „Хорошая работа”, и прибивает статую к основанию гвоздями, чтоб была устойчивой она!»

8 Господь сказал: «Ты — Мой слуга, Иаков, тебя, Израиль, выбираю Я, ты из рода Моего друга Авраама.

9 Ты был во всех концах земли, в далёких странах, но Я призвал тебя, сказав: „Ты — Мой слуга”. Тебя Я выбрал. Я от тебя не отвернусь.

10 Не беспокойся, Я с тобой, Я — Бог твой, Я тебе дам силы и поддержу тебя Своей победоносною рукой.

11 Те, кто тобою недоволен, устыдятся, твои враги исчезнут.

12 Будешь ты искать врагов своих, но не найдёшь тех, кто воевал с тобой, они исчезнут.

13 Я — Бог твой, Я — Господь, Я говорю: „Не бойся, Я помогу тебе”.

14 Народ Израиля, Иакова потомки, вы беспомощны и бессильны, но не бойтесь, Я вам помогу». Господь сказал: «Я — Святой Израиля, Спаситель ваш.

15 Смотри, тебя я сделал новой зубчатой молотилкой, ты будешь горы разбивать и стирать их с лица земли, и превращать холмы в мякину.

16 Ты веять будешь, и ветры их будут разносить, ты будешь счастлив в Боге, ты будешь горд Святым Израиля.

17 Бедные ищут воду, но найти не могут, их жажда мучает, и сохнут языки. Но Я, Господь, отвечу их молитвам, Я не оставлю их и умереть не дам.

18 Так сделаю, что реки потекут среди холмов сухих, ручьи в долинах будут течь. Я превращу пустыню в озеро, сухую землю наполню родниками.

19 Я посажу в пустыне кедры, оливы и акации, сосны и кипарисы.

20 Увидят это люди и поймут, что это сделано Господней силой, Святым Израиля сотворено».

21 Господь, Царь Иакова, говорит: «Приди и представь Мне доказательства твои, чтобы решить, кто прав.

22 Пусть идолы твои придут и скажут, что происходит. Пусть они ответят, что случилось вначале, и предскажут, что в будущем произойдёт. Мы будем внимательно слушать и узнаем, что нас ждёт.

23 Какие чудеса вы в прошлом совершили, чтоб доказать божественность свою? Сделайте хоть что-нибудь, и тогда Мы поверим, что вы и вправду боги. Сделайте что-нибудь доброе или злое, тогда Мы поймём, что вы живые, и последуем за вами.

24 Но вы, лжебоги — ничто, вы не способны ни на что! Лишь ничтожные глупцы хотят вам поклоняться».

25 «Я пробудил человека севера, он приходит с востока, где солнце встаёт, он поклоняется имени Моему. И как горшечник топчет глину, так и он придёт, топча владык.

26 Кто возвестил об этом с самого начала, какая из ваших статуй это нам сказала? Никто из них не говорит, они ни говорить не могут, ни слышать ваших слов.

27 Я первым был, Кто об этом возвестил Сиону, Я вестника в Иерусалим послал сказать: „Взгляните, ваш народ возвращается назад!”

28 На ваших лжебогов взглянул Я, но ни один из них не смог ответить на Мои вопросы, не смог совет Мне дать и даже слово вымолвить не в силах.

29 Ведь все они — ничто, они ничтожны, ничего они не могут».

Chapter 41

1 KEEP silence, O you islands; and let the people renew their strength; let them come near; then let them speak; let them come near together to judgment.

2 Who has stirred up the righteous one from the east, and hastened him on? The nations shall surrender before him, and kings shall be confounded. He gave them as the dust to his sword and as driven stubble to his bow.

3 He shall pursue them, then make peace; and he shall not pass that way on foot.

4 Who has prepared and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first and the last; I am he.

5 The islands saw it, and were afraid; and the ends of the earth were afraid, and they drew near and came.

6 They helped every one his neighbor; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.

7 The carpenter encourages the goldsmith, and he who smooths with the hammer him who strikes the anvil, saying, It is ready for the soldering; and they fasten it with nails, that it should not be moved.

8 But now, Israel, you are my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the descendants of Abraham my friend, whom I have strengthened.

9 I have called you from the ends of the earth and from among the prophets, and said to you, You are my servant; I have chosen you, and have not rejected you;

10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I have strengthened you, and have also helped you, yea, I will also uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

11 All those that reproach you shall be ashamed and confounded; they shall be as nothing; and those who strive with you shall perish.

12 You shall seek them that strive with you, but you shall not find them; they that war against you shall be as if they were nothing.

13 For I am the LORD your God, the strengthener of your right hand. I have said to you, Fear not; I am your helper.

14 Fear not, O you helpless men of Jacob, O you remnant of Israel! I am your helper, says the LORD, and your Saviour, the Holy One of Israel.

15 Behold, I have made you as a new threshing instrument having teeth; a thing which tears and crushes to pieces; you shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, and shall make the hills as chaff.

16 You shall winnow them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them; and you shall rejoice in the LORD and shall glory in the Holy One of Israel.

17 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue is dried with thirst, I the LORD will answer them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.

18 I will open rivers in the mountains and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness pools of water, and the dry land springs of water.

19 I will plant in the wilderness the cedars, the acacia tree, the myrtle, and the olive tree; I will set in the desert the cypress and the pine and the box tree together;

20 That they may see and know and consider and understand that the hand of the LORD has done this and the Holy One of Israel has created it.

21 Bring near your cause, says the LORD; bring near your counsels, says the King of Jacob.

22 Let them come near and show us the things that are to come; show us the former things, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare to us the things that are to come.

23 Show us the wonders that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods; yea, do good, or do evil, that we may relate it and behold it together.

24 Behold, you are nothing, and your works are corrupt; choosing you is an abomination.

25 I have stirred up one from the north, and he shall come from the rising of the sun, and shall call on my name; and the princes shall come, and shall be trodden down like mortar, and as the potter treads clay.

26 Who has declared it from the beginning, that we may know? And beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? Yea, there is none that shows, yea, there is none that declares, yea, there is none that hears your words.

27 These things are the chief concern of Zion; behold, I will give to Jerusalem one that brings good tidings.

28 For I beheld, and there was no man who could meditate about these things, that I might ask him, and that he might give me an answer.

29 Behold, they are all nothing; their works are vanity; their images are wind and vanity.

1 Господь говорит: «Далёкие страны, утихните и внимательно слушайте Меня. Набравшись смелости, скажите: давайте все соберёмся и решим, кто прав.	1 KEEP silence, O you islands; and let the people renew their strength; let them come near; then let them speak; let them come near together to judgment.
2 Ответь, кто разбудил пришедшего с востока человека, которого Правосудие сопровождает? Он покоряет всех царей, они от его лука разбегаются подобно соломе на ветру.	2 Who has stirred up the righteous one from the east, and hastened him on? 4 Кто всё это совершил? Кто с самого начала жизнью народов управлял? Всё это сделал Я — Господь. Я первым был здесь, когда всё начиналось, и Я последним буду, когда всё подойдёт к концу.	4 Who has prepared and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first and the last; I am he.
5 Увидев это, все прибрежные страны от страха трепетали, а затем ко Мне пришли.	5 The islands saw it, and were afraid; and the ends of the earth were afraid, and they drew near and came.
6 Все работники помогают друг другу и подбадривают друг друга, чтобы сильнее быть.	6 They helped every one his neighbor; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.

8 Господь сказал: «Ты — Мой слуга, Иаков, тебя, Израиль, выбираю Я, ты из рода Моего друга Авраама.	8 But now, Israel, you are my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the descendants of Abraham my friend, whom I have strengthened.
9 Ты был во всех концах земли, в далёких странах, но Я призвал тебя, сказав: „Ты — Мой слуга”. Тебя Я выбрал. Я от тебя не отвернусь.	9 I have called you from the ends of the earth and from among the prophets, and said to you, You are my servant; I have chosen you, and have not rejected you;
10 Не беспокойся, Я с тобой, Я — Бог твой, Я тебе дам силы и поддержу тебя Своей победоносною рукой.	10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I have strengthened you, and have also helped you, yea, I will also uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
11 Те, кто тобою недоволен, устыдятся, твои враги исчезнут.	11 All those that reproach you shall be ashamed and confounded; they shall be as nothing; and those who strive with you shall perish.
12 Будешь ты искать врагов своих, но не найдёшь тех, кто воевал с тобой, они исчезнут.	12 You shall seek them that strive with you, but you shall not find them; they that war against you shall be as if they were nothing.
13 Я — Бог твой, Я — Господь, Я говорю: „Не бойся, Я помогу тебе”.	13 For I am the LORD your God, the strengthener of your right hand. I have said to you, Fear not; I am your helper.
14 Народ Израиля, Иакова потомки, вы беспомощны и бессильны, но не бойтесь, Я вам помогу». Господь сказал: «Я — Святой Израиля, Спаситель ваш.	14 Fear not, O you helpless men of Jacob, O you remnant of Israel! I am your helper, says the LORD, and your Saviour, the Holy One of Israel.
15 Смотри, тебя я сделал новой зубчатой молотилкой, ты будешь горы разбивать и стирать их с лица земли, и превращать холмы в мякину.	15 Behold, I have made you as a new threshing instrument having teeth; a thing which tears and crushes to pieces; you shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, and shall make the hills as chaff.
16 Ты веять будешь, и ветры их будут разносить, ты будешь счастлив в Боге, ты будешь горд Святым Израиля.	16 You shall winnow them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them; and you shall rejoice in the LORD and shall glory in the Holy One of Israel.
17 Бедные ищут воду, но найти не могут, их жажда мучает, и сохнут языки. Но Я, Господь, отвечу их молитвам, Я не оставлю их и умереть не дам.	17 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue is dried with thirst, I the LORD will answer them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
18 Так сделаю, что реки потекут среди холмов сухих, ручьи в долинах будут течь. Я превращу пустыню в озеро, сухую землю наполню родниками.	18 I will open rivers in the mountains and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness pools of water, and the dry land springs of water.

20 Увидят это люди и поймут, что это сделано Господней силой, Святым Израиля сотворено».	20 That they may see and know and consider and understand that the hand of the LORD has done this and the Holy One of Israel has created it.
21 Господь, Царь Иакова, говорит: «Приди и представь Мне доказательства твои, чтобы решить, кто прав.	21 Bring near your cause, says the LORD; bring near your counsels, says the King of Jacob.
22 Пусть идолы твои придут и скажут, что происходит. Пусть они ответят, что случилось вначале, и предскажут, что в будущем произойдёт. Мы будем внимательно слушать и узнаем, что нас ждёт.	22 Let them come near and show us the things that are to come; show us the former things, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare to us the things that are to come.
23 Какие чудеса вы в прошлом совершили, чтоб доказать божественность свою? Сделайте хоть что-нибудь, и тогда Мы поверим, что вы и вправду боги. Сделайте что-нибудь доброе или злое, тогда Мы поймём, что вы живые, и последуем за вами.	23 Show us the wonders that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods; yea, do good, or do evil, that we may relate it and behold it together.
