1 В третий7969 год8141 царствования4438 Иоакима,3079 царя4428 Иудейского,3063 пришел935 Навуходоносор,5019 царь4428 Вавилонский,894 к Иерусалиму3389 и осадил6696 его.

1 In the third7969 year8141 of the reign4438 of Jehoiakim3079 king4428 of Judah3063 came935 Nebuchadnezzar5019 king4428 of Babylon894 unto Jerusalem,3389 and besieged6696 5921 it.

2 И предал5414 Господь136 в руку3027 его Иоакима,3079 царя4428 Иудейского,3063 и часть7117 сосудов3627 дома1004 Божия,430 и он отправил935 их в землю776 Сеннаар,8152 в дом1004 бога430 своего, и внес935 эти сосуды3627 в сокровищницу2141004 бога430 своего.

2 And the Lord136 gave5414 853 Jehoiakim3079 king4428 of Judah3063 into his hand,3027 with part4480 7117 of the vessels3627 of the house1004 of God:430 which he carried into935 the land776 of Shinar8152 to the house1004 of his god;430 and he brought935 the vessels3627 into the treasure214 house1004 of his god.430

3 И сказал559 царь4428 Асфеназу,828 начальнику7227 евнухов5631 своих, чтобы он из сынов1121 Израилевых,3478 из рода2233 царского4410 и княжеского,6579 привел935

3 And the king4428 spoke559 unto Ashpenaz828 the master7227 of his eunuchs,5631 that he should bring935 certain of the children4480 1121 of Israel,3478 and of the king's seed,4480 2233 4410 and of4480 the princes;6579

4 отроков,3206 у которых нет никакого телесного недостатка,39713971 красивых2896 видом,4758 и понятливых7919 для всякой науки,2451 и разумеющих995 науки,4093 и смышленых30451847 и годных3581 служить5975 в чертогах1964 царских,4428 и чтобы научил3925 их книгам5612 и языку3956 Халдейскому.3778

4 Children3206 in whom834 was no369 3605 blemish,3971 but well favored,2896 4758 and skillful7919 in all3605 wisdom,2451 and cunning3045 in knowledge,1847 and understanding995 science,4093 and such834 as had ability3581 in them to stand5975 in the king's4428 palace,1964 and whom they might teach3925 the learning5612 and the tongue3956 of the Chaldeans.3778

5 И назначил4487 им царь4428 ежедневную3117 пищу1697 с царского4428 стола6598 и вино,3196 которое сам пил,4960 и велел1431 воспитывать1431 их три7969 года,8141 по истечении7117 которых они должны5975 были предстать5975 пред3942 царя.4428

5 And the king4428 appointed4487 them a daily3117 3117 provision1697 of the king's meat,4480 6598 4428 and of the wine4480 3196 which he drank:4960 so nourishing1431 them three7969 years,8141 that at the end4480 7117 thereof they might stand5975 before6440 the king.4428

6 Now among these were1961 of the children4480 1121 of Judah,3063 Daniel,1840 Hananiah,2608 Mishael,4332 and Azariah: 5838

7 И переименовал77608034 их начальник8269 евнухов5631 — Даниила1840 Валтасаром,1095 Ананию2608 Седрахом,7714 Мисаила4332 Мисахом4335 и Азарию5838 Авденаго.5664

7 Unto whom the prince8269 of the eunuchs5631 gave7760 names:8034 for he gave7760 unto Daniel1840 the name of Belteshazzar;1095 and to Hananiah,2608 of Shadrach;7714 and to Mishael,4332 of Meshach;4335 and to Azariah,5838 of Abed-nego.5664

8 Даниил1840 положил7760 в сердце3820 своем не оскверняться1351 яствами6598 со стола царского4428 и вином,3196 какое пьет4960 царь, и потому просил1245 начальника8269 евнухов5631 о том, чтобы не оскверняться1351 ему.

8 But Daniel1840 purposed7760 in5921 his heart3820 that834 he would not3808 defile himself1351 with the portion of the king's meat,6598 4428 nor with the wine3196 which he drank:4960 therefore he requested1245 of the prince4480 8269 of the eunuchs5631 that834 he might not3808 defile himself.1351

9 Бог430 даровал5414 Даниилу1840 милость2617 и благорасположение7356 начальника8269 евнухов;5631
|
9 Now God430 had brought5414 853 Daniel1840 into favor2617 and tender love7356 with6440 the prince8269 of the eunuchs.5631
|
|
10 и начальник8269 евнухов5631 сказал559 Даниилу:1840 боюсь3373 я господина113 моего, царя,4428 который сам назначил4487 вам пищу3978 и питье;4960 если он увидит7200 лица6440 ваши худощавее,2196 нежели у отроков,3206 сверстников1524 ваших, то вы сделаете2325 голову7218 мою виновною2325 перед царем.4428

10 And the prince8269 of the eunuchs5631 said559 unto Daniel,1840 I589 fear3372 853 my lord113 the king,4428 who834 hath appointed4487 853 your meat3978 and your drink:4960 for834 why4100 should he see7200 853 your faces6440 worse liking2196 than4480 the children3206 which834 are of your sort?1524 then shall ye make me endanger2325 853 my head7218 to the king.4428

11 Тогда сказал559 Даниил1840 Амелсару,4453 которого начальник8269 евнухов5631 приставил4487 к Даниилу,1840 Анании,2608 Мисаилу4332 и Азарии:5838

11 Then said559 Daniel1840 to413 Melzar,4453 whom834 the prince8269 of the eunuchs5631 had set4487 over5921 Daniel,1840 Hananiah,2608 Mishael,4332 and Azariah,5838

12 сделай5254 опыт5254 над рабами5650 твоими в течение десяти6235 дней;3117 пусть дают5414 нам в пищу398 овощи2235 и воду4325 для питья;8354
|
12 Prove5254 853 thy servants,5650 I beseech thee,4994 ten6235 days;3117 and let them give5414 us pulse2235 to eat,398 and water4325 to drink.8354
|
|
13 и потом пусть явятся7200 перед3942 тобою лица4758 наши и лица4758 тех отроков,3206 которые питаются398 царскою4428 пищею,6598 и затем поступай6213 с рабами5650 твоими, как увидишь.7200
|
13 Then let our countenances4758 be looked upon7200 before6440 thee, and the countenance4758 of the children3206 that eat398 853 of the portion of the king's meat:6598 4428 and as834 thou seest,7200 deal6213 with5973 thy servants.5650

14 Он послушался8085 их в этом1697 и испытывал5254 их десять6235 дней.3117
|
14 So he consented8085 to them in this2088 matter,1697 and proved5254 them ten6235 days.3117
|
|
15 По истечении7117 же десяти6235 дней3117 лица4758 их оказались7200 красивее,2896 и телом1320 они были полнее1277 всех тех отроков,3206 которые питались398 царскими4428 яствами.6598
|
15 And at the end4480 7117 of ten6235 days3117 their countenances4758 appeared7200 fairer2896 and fatter1277 in flesh1320 than4480 all3605 the children3206 which did eat398 853 the portion of the king's meat.6598 4428

16 Тогда Амелсар4453 брал5375 их кушанье6598 и вино3196 для питья4960 и давал5414 им овощи.2235
|
16 Thus Melzar4453 took away5375 853 the portion of their meat,6598 and the wine3196 that they should drink;4960 and gave5414 them pulse.2235
|
|
17 И даровал5414 Бог430 четырем702 сим отрокам3206 знание4093 и разумение7919 всякой книги5612 и мудрости,2451 а Даниилу1840 еще даровал995 разуметь995 и всякие видения2377 и сны.2472
|
17 As for these428 four702 children,3206 God430 gave5414 them knowledge4093 and skill7919 in all3605 learning5612 and wisdom:2451 and Daniel1840 had understanding995 in all3605 visions2377 and dreams.2472

|
18 По окончании7117 тех дней,3117 когда царь4428 приказал559 представить935 их, начальник8269 евнухов5631 представил935 их Навуходоносору.5019
|
18 Now at the end4480 7117 of the days3117 that834 the king4428 had said559 he should bring them in,935 then the prince8269 of the eunuchs5631 brought them in935 before6440 Nebuchadnezzar.5019
|
|
19 И царь4428 говорил1696 с ними, и из всех отроков не нашлось4672 подобных Даниилу,1840 Анании,2608 Мисаилу4332 и Азарии,5838 и стали5975 они служить5975 пред3942 царем.4428
|
19 And the king4428 communed1696 with854 them; and among them all4480 3605 was found4672 none3808 like Daniel,1840 Hananiah,2608 Mishael,4332 and Azariah:5838 therefore stood5975 they before6440 the king.4428

|
20 И во всяком деле1697 мудрого2451 уразумения,998 о чем ни спрашивал1245 их царь,4428 он находил4672 их в десять6235 раз6235 выше3027 всех тайноведцев2748 и волхвов,825 какие были во всем царстве4438 его.
|
20 And in all3605 matters1697 of wisdom2451 and understanding,998 that834 the king4428 inquired1245 of4480 them, he found4672 them ten6235 times3027 better than5921 all3605 the magicians2748 and astrologers825 that834 were in all3605 his realm.4438

21 И был там Даниил1840 до первого259 года8141 царя4428 Кира.3566

21 And Daniel1840 continued1961 even unto5704 the first259 year8141 of king4428 Cyrus.3566
