2 нехай буде вам благода́ть та мир від Бога, Отця нашого, і Господа Ісуса Христа! |
|
3 |
|
4 так як вибрав у Ньому Він нас перше зало́ження світу, щоб були перед Ним ми святі й непорочні, у любові, |
|
5 призна́чивши напере́д, щоб нас усинови́ти для Себе Ісусом Христом, за вподо́банням волі Своєї, |
|
6 на хвалу́ слави благода́ті Своєї, якою Він обдарував нас в Улю́бленім, |
|
7 що маємо в Ньому відку́плення кров'ю Його, про́щення провин, через багатство благода́ті Його, |
|
8 яку Він намно́жив у нас у всякій премудрості й розва́жності, |
|
9 об'явивши нам таємни́цю волі Своєї за Своїм уподо́банням, яке постановив у Самому Собі, |
|
10 для уря́дження ви́повнення часів, щоб усе об'єднати в Христі, — що на небі, і що́ на землі. |
|
11 У Нім, що в Нім стали ми й спадкоє́мцями, бувши призначені наперед постановою Того, Хто все чинить за радою волі Своєї, |
|
12 щоб на хвалу́ Його слави були ми, що перше надіялися на Христа. |
|
13 У Ньому й ви, як почули були слово правди, Єва́нгелію спасі́ння свого, та в Нього й увірували, запечатані стали Святим Духом обі́тниці, |
|
14 Який є завда́ток нашого спа́дку, на викуп здобутого, на хвалу́ Його слави! |
|
15 |
|
16 не перестаю за вас дя́кувати, і в моли́твах своїх за вас згадую, |
|
17 щоб Бог Господа нашого Ісуса Христа, Отець слави, дав вам Духа премудрости та об'явлення для пізна́ння Його, |
|
18 просвітив очі вашого серця, щоб ви зрозуміли, до якої надії Він вас закликає, і який багатий Його славний спа́док у святих, |
|
19 і яка безмірна ве́лич Його сили в нас, що віруємо за ви́явленням поту́жної сили Його, |
|
20 яку виявив Він у Христі, воскресивши із мертвих Його, і посадивши на небі право́руч Себе, |
|
21 вище від усякого уря́ду, і вла́ди, і сили, і панува́ння, і всякого йме́ння, що на́зване не тільки в цім віці, але й у майбу́тньому. |
|
22 І все впокорив Він під ноги Йому́, і Його дав найвище за все — за Голову Церкви, |
|
23 а вона — Його тіло, по́вня Того, що все всім наповня́є! |

|
1 PAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to those who are in Eph'e-sus, saints and believers in Jesus Christ: |
|
2 Peace be with you and grace from God our Father, and from our LORD Jesus Christ: |
|
3 Blessed be the God, and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heaven through Christ: |
|
4 Just as from the beginning he has chosen us through him, before the foundation of the world, that we may become holy and without blemish before him. |
|
5 And he marked us with his love to be his from the beginning, and adopted us to be sons through Jesus Christ, as it pleased his will. |
|
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace that he has poured upon us by his beloved one. |
|
7 In him we have salvation, and in his blood, forgiveness of sins, according to the richness of his grace; |
|
8 That that grace which has abounded in us, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; |
|
9 And because he has made known to us the mystery of his will, as he has ordained from the very beginning, to work through it; |
|
10 As a dispensation of the fulness of times, that all things might be made new in heaven and on earth through Christ: |
|
11 By whom we have been chosen, as he had marked us from the beginning so he wanted to carry out everything according to the good judgment of his will: |
|
12 That we should become the first to trust in Christ, to his honor and his glory: |
|
13 In whom, you also have heard the word of truth, which is the gospel for your salvation: in him you have believed, so you are sealed with the Holy Spirit that was promised, |
|
14 Which is the pledge of our inheritance, for the salvation of those who are saved, and for the glory of his honour. |
|
15 Wherefore I also, since I heard of your faith in our LORD Jesus Christ, and your love toward all the saints, |
|
16 Never cease to give thanks for your sakes and to mention you in my prayers; |
|
17 So that the God of our LORD Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: |
|
18 And so that the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the glorious riches of his inheritance in the saints; |
|
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power in us as the result of the things we believe, according to the skill of his mighty power, |
|
20 Which he wrought through Christ, when he raised him from the dead and set him at his own right hand in heaven, |
|
21 Far above all angels and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in the world which is to come: |
|
22 And has put all things under his feet, and made him, who is above all things, the head of the church, |
|
23 Which is his body, and confirmation of him who fulfills all things and every thing. |
