|
|
1 And Sarah8283 was1961 a hundred3967 and seven7651 and twenty6242 years8141 old:2416 these were the years8141 of the life2416 of Sarah.8283
|
1 撒拉享壽一百二十有七歲。
|
|
2 And Sarah8283 died4191 in Kirjath-arba;7153 the same1931 is Hebron2275 in the land776 of Canaan:3667 and Abraham85 came935 to mourn5594 for Sarah,8283 and to weep1058 for her.
|
2 卒於迦南之基列亞巴，卽希伯崙，亞伯拉罕爲撒拉哀哭。〇
|
|
3 And Abraham85 stood up6965 from before4480 5921 6440 his dead,4191 and spoke1696 unto413 the sons1121 of Heth,2845 saying,559
|
3 後起離尸，謂赫人曰：
|
|
4 I595 am a stranger1616 and a sojourner8453 with5973 you: give5414 me a possession272 of a burial place6913 with5973 you, that I may bury6912 my dead4191 out of my sight.4480 6440
|
4 我於爾中爲賓旅，請以塚地與我，使死者得葬。〇
|
|
5 And the children1121 of Heth2845 answered6030 853 Abraham,85 saying559 unto him,
|
5 赫人曰：
|
|
6 Hear8085 us, my lord:113 thou859 art a mighty430 prince5387 among8432 us: in the choice4005 of our sepulchers6913 bury6912 853 thy dead;4191 none376 3808 of4480 us shall withhold3607 from4480 thee853 his sepulcher,6913 but that thou mayest bury4480 6912 thy dead.4191
|
6 吾主，請聽，爾在我中，爲有能之牧伯，在我塚地間，擇其佳者，以葬其尸，我中心必無人禁爾。
|
|
7 And Abraham85 stood up,6965 and bowed himself7812 to the people5971 of the land,776 even to the children1121 of Heth.2845
|
7 亞伯拉罕鞠躬言於赫邑之居民。
|
|
8 And he communed1696 with854 them, saying,559 If518 it be3426 853 your mind5315 that I should bury6912 853 my dead4191 out of my sight;4480 6440 hear8085 me, and entreat6293 for me to Ephron6085 the son1121 of Zohar,6714
|
8 曰：若爾許我得葬死者，則請代我求鎖轄之子以弗崙。
|
|
9 That he may give5414 me853 the cave4631 of Machpelah,4375 which834 he hath, which834 is in the end7097 of his field;7704 for as much money3701 as it is worth4392 he shall give5414 it me for a possession272 of a burial place6913 amongst8432 you.
|
9 在其田之一隅，名麥比拉，有穴焉，請足其金數購之，爲我塚地。
|
|
10 And Ephron6085 dwelt3427 among8432 the children1121 of Heth:2845 and Ephron6085 the Hittite2850 answered6030 853 Abraham85 in the audience241 of the children1121 of Heth,2845 even of all3605 that went in935 at the gate8179 of his city,5892 saying,559

10 以弗崙，赫人也，於邑民及入是邑者前，對亞伯拉罕曰：
|
|
11 Nay,3808 my lord,113 hear8085 me: the field7704 give5414 I thee, and the cave4631 that834 is therein, I give5414 it thee; in the presence5869 of the sons1121 of my people5971 give5414 I it thee: bury6912 thy dead.4191
|
11 主歟，尙其垂聽，我以田及田內之穴錫爾，汝可葬其死者，邑衆爲證。
|
|
12 And Abraham85 bowed down himself7812 before6440 the people5971 of the land.776
|
12 亞伯拉罕鞠躬於民前。
|
|
13 And he spoke1696 unto413 Ephron6085 in the audience241 of the people5971 of the land,776 saying,559 But389 if518 thou859 wilt give it, I pray thee,3863 hear8085 me: I will give5414 thee money3701 for the field;7704 take3947 it of4480 me, and I will bury6912 853 my dead4191 there.8033

13 謂以弗崙曰：請聽吾言，我將以金購田，爾可受之，使死者得葬，民皆聞之。〇
|
|
14 And Ephron6085 answered6030 853 Abraham,85 saying559 unto him,
|
14 以弗崙曰：主歟，尙其俯聽，價約二百金。〇
|
|
15 My lord,113 hearken8085 unto me: the land776 is worth four702 hundred3967 shekels8255 of silver;3701 what4100 is that1931 between996 me and thee? bury6912 therefore thy dead.4191
|
15 爾與我豈有所較，請葬乎死者。
|
|
16 And Abraham85 hearkened8085 unto413 Ephron;6085 and Abraham85 weighed8254 to Ephron6085 853 the silver,3701 which834 he had named1696 in the audience241 of the sons1121 of Heth,2845 four702 hundred3967 shekels8255 of silver,3701 current5674 money with the merchant.5503

16 亞伯拉罕從其言，以商賈素用之金二百，如數以與。赫人爲證。〇
|
|
17 And the field7704 of Ephron,6085 which834 was in Machpelah,4375 which834 was before6440 Mamre,4471 the field,7704 and the cave4631 which834 was therein, and all3605 the trees6086 that834 were in the field,7704 that834 were in all3605 the borders1366 round about,5439 were made sure6965
|
17 如是，以弗崙田在麥比拉，與幔哩相對，田之穴，曁田中四圍羣樹。
|
|
18 Unto Abraham85 for a possession4736 in the presence5869 of the children1121 of Heth,2845 before all3605 that went in935 at the gate8179 of his city.5892
|
18 俱定與亞伯拉罕爲業，邑中人，與凡入邑者爲證。
|
|
19 And after310 this,3651 Abraham85 buried6912 853 Sarah8283 his wife802 in413 the cave4631 of the field7704 of Machpelah4375 before5921 6440 Mamre:4471 the same1931 is Hebron2275 in the land776 of Canaan.3667
|
19 厥後亞伯拉罕葬其妻撒拉，在迦南地，幔哩相對麥比拉田之穴，幔哩卽希伯崙也。
|
|
20 And the field,7704 and the cave4631 that834 is therein, were made sure6965 unto Abraham85 for a possession272 of a burial place6913 by4480 854 the sons1121 of Heth.2845
|
20 田及田穴，赫人定之，與亞伯拉罕爲塚地。
