|
|
1 Then Joseph3130 came935 and told5046 Pharaoh,6547 and said,559 My father1 and my brethren,251 and their flocks,6629 and their herds,1241 and all3605 that834 they have, are come935 out of the land4480 776 of Canaan;3667 and, behold,2009 they are in the land776 of Goshen.1657

1 約瑟進去告訴法老說：「我的父親和我的弟兄帶著羊群牛群，並一切所有的，從迦南地來了，如今在歌珊地。」

|
2 And he took3947 some4480 7097 of his brethren,251 even five2568 men,376 and presented3322 them unto6440 Pharaoh.6547
|
2 約瑟從他弟兄中挑出五個人來，引他們去見法老。
|
|
3 And Pharaoh6547 said559 unto413 his brethren,251 What4100 is your occupation?4639 And they said559 unto413 Pharaoh,6547 Thy servants5650 are shepherds,7462 6629 both1571 we,587 and also1571 our fathers.1
|
3 法老問約瑟的弟兄說：「你們以何事為業？」他們對法老說：「你僕人是牧羊的，連我們的祖宗也是牧羊的。」
|
|
4 They said559 moreover unto413 Pharaoh,6547 For to sojourn1481 in the land776 are we come;935 for3588 834 thy servants5650 have no369 pasture4829 for their flocks;6629 for3588 the famine7458 is sore3515 in the land776 of Canaan:3667 now6258 therefore, we pray thee,4994 let thy servants5650 dwell3427 in the land776 of Goshen.1657

4 他們又對法老說：「迦南地的饑荒甚大，僕人的羊群沒有草吃，所以我們來到這地寄居。現在求你容僕人住在歌珊地。」

|
5 And Pharaoh6547 spoke559 unto413 Joseph,3130 saying,559 Thy father1 and thy brethren251 are come935 unto413 thee:
|
5 法老對約瑟說：「你父親和你弟兄到你這裏來了，
|
|
6 The land776 of Egypt4714 is before6440 thee; in the best4315 of the land776 make853 thy father1 and brethren251 to dwell;3427 in the land776 of Goshen1657 let them dwell:3427 and if518 thou knowest3045 any men376 of activity2428 among them, then make7760 them rulers8269 over my5921 834 cattle.4735

6 埃及地都在你面前，只管叫你父親和你弟兄住在國中最好的地；他們可以住在歌珊地。你若知道他們中間有甚麼能人，就派他們看管我的牲畜。」
|
|
7 And Joseph3130 brought in935 853 Jacob3290 his father,1 and set5975 him before6440 Pharaoh:6547 and Jacob3290 blessed1288 853 Pharaoh.6547
|
7 約瑟領他父親雅各進到法老面前，雅各就給法老祝福。
|
|
8 And Pharaoh6547 said559 unto413 Jacob,3290 How4100 old3117 8141 2416 art thou?
|
8 法老問雅各說：「你的年歲是多少呢［How old art thou］？」
|
|
9 And Jacob3290 said559 unto413 Pharaoh,6547 The days3117 of the years8141 of my pilgrimage4033 are a hundred3967 and thirty7970 years:8141 few4592 and evil7451 have the days3117 of the years8141 of my life2416 been,1961 and have not3808 attained unto5381 853 the days3117 of the years8141 of the life2416 of my fathers1 in the days3117 of their pilgrimage.4033

9 雅各對法老說：「我寄居在世的年日是一百三十歲，我平生的年日又少又苦，不及我列祖在世寄居的年日。」
|
|
10 And Jacob3290 blessed1288 853 Pharaoh,6547 and went out3318 from before4480 6440 Pharaoh.6547
|
10 雅各又給法老祝福，就從法老面前出去了。
|
|
11 And Joseph3130 placed3427 853 his father1 and his brethren,251 and gave5414 them a possession272 in the land776 of Egypt,4714 in the best4315 of the land,776 in the land776 of Rameses,7486 as834 Pharaoh6547 had commanded.6680
|
11 約瑟遵著法老的命，把埃及國最好的地，就是蘭塞境內的地，給他父親和弟兄居住，作為產業。
|
|
12 And Joseph3130 nourished3557 853 his father,1 and his brethren,251 and all3605 his father's1 household,1004 with bread,3899 according to6310 their families.2945
|
12 約瑟用糧食奉養他父親和他弟兄，並他父親全家的眷屬，都是照各家的人口奉養他們。
|
|
13 And there was no369 bread3899 in all3605 the land;776 for3588 the famine7458 was very3966 sore,3515 so that the land776 of Egypt4714 and all the land776 of Canaan3667 fainted3856 by reason of4480 6440 the famine.7458
|
13 饑荒甚大，全地都絕了糧，甚至埃及地和迦南地的人因那饑荒的緣故都餓昏了。
|
|
14 And Joseph3130 gathered up3950 853 all3605 the money3701 that was found4672 in the land776 of Egypt,4714 and in the land776 of Canaan,3667 for the corn7668 which834 they1992 bought:7666 and Joseph3130 brought935 853 the money3701 into Pharaoh's6547 house.1004

14 約瑟收聚了埃及地和迦南地所有的錢［money］，就是眾人買糧穀［corn］的錢［money］，約瑟就把那銀子帶到法老的宮裏。
|
|
15 And when money3701 failed8552 in the land4480 776 of Egypt,4714 and in the land4480 776 of Canaan,3667 all3605 the Egyptians4714 came935 unto413 Joseph,3130 and said,559 Give3051 us bread:3899 for why4100 should we die4191 in thy presence?5048 for3588 the money3701 faileth.656

15 埃及地和迦南地的錢［money］都無用了［failed］，埃及眾人都來見約瑟，說：「錢［money］都無用［faileth］了 ，求你給我們糧食，我們為甚麼死在你面前呢？」
|
|
16 And Joseph3130 said,559 Give3051 your cattle;4735 and I will give5414 you for your cattle,4735 if518 money3701 fail.656
|
16 約瑟說：「若是錢無用［money fail］了，可以把你們的牲畜給我，我就為你們的牲畜給你們糧食。」
|
|
17 And they brought935 853 their cattle4735 unto413 Joseph:3130 and Joseph3130 gave5414 them bread3899 in exchange for horses,5483 and for the flocks,4735 6629 and for the cattle4735 of the herds,1241 and for the asses:2543 and he fed5095 them with bread3899 for all3605 their cattle4735 for that1931 year.8141

17 於是他們把牲畜趕到約瑟那裏，約瑟就拿糧食換了他們的馬群［horses］、羊群［flocks］、牛群［herds］、驢群［asses］；那一年因換他們一切的牲畜，就用糧食養活他們。
|
|
18 When that1931 year8141 was ended,8552 they came935 unto413 him the second8145 year,8141 and said559 unto him, We will not3808 hide3582 it from4480 my lord,113 how that3588 518 our money3701 is spent;8552 my lord113 also hath413 our herds4735 of cattle;929 there is not3808 aught left7604 in the sight6440 of my lord,113 but1115 518 our bodies,1472 and our lands: 127

18 那一年過去，第二年他們又來見約瑟，對他［unto him］說：「我們不瞞我主，我們的錢［money］都花盡了；我們的［our］牲畜也都歸了我主；我們在我主眼前，除了我們的身體和田地之外，一無所剩。
|
|
19 Wherefore4100 shall we die4191 before thine eyes,5869 both1571 we587 and1571 our land?127 buy7069 us and our land127 for bread,3899 and we587 and our land127 will be1961 servants5650 unto Pharaoh:6547 and give5414 us seed,2233 that we may live,2421 and not3808 die,4191 that the land127 be not desolate.3456 3808
|
19 你何忍見我們人死地荒呢？求你用糧食買我們和我們的地，我們和我們的地就要給法老效力。又求你給我們種子，使我們得以存活，不至死亡，地土也不至荒涼。」
|
|
20 And Joseph3130 bought7069 853 all3605 the land127 of Egypt4714 for Pharaoh;6547 for3588 the Egyptians4714 sold4376 every man376 his field,7704 because3588 the famine7458 prevailed2388 over5921 them: so the land776 became1961 Pharaoh's.6547
|
20 於是，約瑟為法老買了埃及所有的地，埃及人因被饑荒所迫，各都賣了自己的田地；那地就都歸了法老。
|
|
21 And as for the people,5971 he removed5674 them to cities5892 from one end4480 7097 of the borders1366 of Egypt4714 even to5704 the other end7097 thereof.
|
21 至於百姓，約瑟叫他們，從埃及這邊直到埃及那邊，都各歸各城。
|
|
22 Only7535 the land127 of the priests3548 bought7069 he not;3808 for3588 the priests3548 had a portion2706 assigned them of4480 854 Pharaoh,6547 and did eat398 853 their portion2706 which834 Pharaoh6547 gave5414 them: wherefore5921 3651 they sold4376 not3808 853 their lands.127

22 唯有祭司的地，約瑟沒有買，因為祭司有從法老所得的常俸。他們吃法老所給的常俸，所以他們不賣自己的地。
|
|
23 Then Joseph3130 said559 unto413 the people,5971 Behold,2005 I have bought7069 you this day3117 and your land127 for Pharaoh:6547 lo,1887 here is seed2233 for you, and ye shall sow2232 853 the land.127
|
23 約瑟對百姓說：「看哪［Behold］，我今日為法老買了你們和你們的地，看哪，這裏有種子給你們，你們可以種地。
|
|
24 And it shall come to pass1961 in the increase,8393 that ye shall give5414 the fifth2549 part unto Pharaoh,6547 and four702 parts3027 shall be1961 your own, for seed2233 of the field,7704 and for your food,400 and for them834 of your households,1004 and for food398 for your little ones.2945
|
24 後來有土產［increase］的時候，你們要把五分之一納給法老，四分可以歸你們作地裏的種子，也作你們和你們家口孩童的食物。」
|
|
25 And they said,559 Thou hast saved our lives:2421 let us find4672 grace2580 in the sight5869 of my lord,113 and we will be1961 Pharaoh's6547 servants.5650
|
25 他們說：「你救了我們的性命。但願我們在我主眼前蒙恩，我們就作法老的僕人。」
|
|
26 And Joseph3130 made7760 it a law2706 over5921 the land127 of Egypt4714 unto5704 this2088 day,3117 that Pharaoh6547 should have the fifth2569 part; except7535 the land127 of the priests3548 only,905 which became1961 not3808 Pharaoh's.6547
|
26 於是約瑟為埃及地定下律法［law］，直到今日：法老必得五分之一，唯獨祭司的地不歸法老。
|
|
27 And Israel3478 dwelt3427 in the land776 of Egypt,4714 in the country776 of Goshen;1657 and they had possessions270 therein, and grew,6509 and multiplied7235 exceedingly.3966
|
27 以色列［Israel］住在埃及的歌珊地；他們在那裏置了產業，並且生育甚多。
|
|
28 And Jacob3290 lived2421 in the land776 of Egypt4714 seventeen7651 6240 years:8141 so the whole age3117 8141 2416 of Jacob3290 was1961 a hundred3967 forty705 and seven7651 years.8141
|
28 雅各住在埃及地十七年，雅各平生的年日是一百四十七歲。
|
|
29 And the time3117 drew nigh7126 that Israel3478 must die:4191 and he called7121 his son1121 Joseph,3130 and said559 unto him, If518 now4994 I have found4672 grace2580 in thy sight,5869 put,7760 I pray thee,4994 thy hand3027 under8478 my thigh,3409 and deal6213 kindly2617 and truly571 with5973 me; bury6912 me not,408 I pray thee,4994 in Egypt: 4714
|
29 以色列必死的期限臨近了［the time drew nigh that Israel must die］，他就叫了他兒子約瑟來，說：「我若在你眼前蒙恩，請你把手放在我大腿底下，用慈愛和誠實待我，請你不要將我葬在埃及。
|
|
30 But I will lie7901 with5973 my fathers,1 and thou shalt carry5375 me out of Egypt,4480 4714 and bury6912 me in their burial place.6900 And he said,559 I595 will do6213 as thou hast said.1697
|
30 我與我祖我父同睡的時候，你要將我帶出埃及，葬在他們所葬的地方。」約瑟說：「我必遵著你的話［hast said］而行。」
|
|
31 And he said,559 Swear7650 unto me. And he swore7650 unto him. And Israel3478 bowed himself7812 upon5921 the bed's4296 head.7218
|
31 雅各說：「你要向我起誓。」約瑟就向他起了誓最大。於是以色列在床頭上屈身［bowed himself upon the bed's head］。
|
