1 In the seventh7637 month, in the one259 and twentieth6242 day of the month,2320 came1961 the word1697 of the LORD3068 by3027 the prophet5030 Haggai,2292 saying,559

1 七月二十一日，耶和華的話臨到先知哈該說：
|
|
2 Speak559 now4994 to413 Zerubbabel2216 the son1121 of Shealtiel,7597 governor6346 of Judah,3063 and to413 Joshua3091 the son1121 of Josedech,3087 the high1419 priest,3548 and to413 the residue7611 of the people,5971 saying,559
|
2 「你要曉諭猶大省長撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯和約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞，並剩下的百姓，說：
|
|
3 Who4310 is left7604 among you that834 saw7200 853 this2088 house1004 in her first7223 glory?3519 and how4100 do ye859 see7200 it now?6258 is it not3808 in your eyes5869 in comparison of it3644 as nothing?369
|
3 你們中間存留的，有誰見過這殿起初［first］的榮耀呢？現在你們看著如何？現在這殿豈不在你們眼中比如無有嗎［is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing］？」
|
|
4 Yet now6258 be strong,2388 O Zerubbabel,2216 saith5002 the LORD;3068 and be strong,2388 O Joshua,3091 son1121 of Josedech,3087 the high1419 priest;3548 and be strong,2388 all3605 ye people5971 of the land,776 saith5002 the LORD,3068 and work:6213 for3588 I589 am with854 you, saith5002 the LORD3068 of hosts: 6635

4 耶和華說：「所羅巴伯啊，雖然如此，你當剛強；約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞啊，你也當剛強；耶和華說［saith the LORD］，這地的百姓，你們都當剛強作工，因為我與你們同在。這是大軍之耶和華說的。

5 According to853 the word1697 that834 I covenanted3772 with854 you when ye came out3318 of Egypt,4480 4714 so my spirit7307 remaineth5975 among8432 you: fear3372 ye not.408
|
5 這是照著你們出埃及我與你們立約的話，我的靈也照著［so my spirit］仍［remaineth］在你們中間。你們不要懼怕。」
|
|
6 For3588 thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 Yet5750 once,259 it1931 is a little while,4592 and I589 will shake7493 853 the heavens,8064 and the earth,776 and the sea,3220 and the dry2724 land;
|
6 大軍之耶和華如此說：「過不多時，我必再一次震動諸天［heavens］、大地［earth］、滄海，與旱地；
|
|
7 And I will shake7493 853 all3605 nations,1471 and the desire2532 of all3605 nations1471 shall come:935 and I will fill4390 853 this2088 house1004 with glory,3519 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635
|
7 我必震動列國，列國所切慕的也必來到［and the desire of all nations shall come］；我就使這殿滿了榮耀，這是大軍之耶和華說的。」
|
|
8 The silver3701 is mine, and the gold2091 is mine, saith5002 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635
|
8 大軍之耶和華說：「銀子是我的，金子也是我的。
|
|
9 The glory3519 of this2088 latter314 house1004 shall be1961 greater1419 than4480 of the former,7223 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts:6635 and in this2088 place4725 will I give5414 peace,7965 saith5002 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635
|
9 大軍之耶和華說［saith the LORD of hosts］：「這後來之殿的榮耀［glory of this latter house］必大過先前的榮耀；在這地方我必賜平安，這是大軍之耶和華說的。」
|
|
10 In the four702 and twentieth6242 day of the ninth8671 month, in the second8147 year8141 of Darius,1867 came1961 the word1697 of the LORD3068 by413 Haggai2292 the prophet,5030 saying,559
|
10 大流士王第二年九月二十四日，耶和華的話臨到先知哈該說：

11 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 Ask7592 now4994 853 the priests3548 concerning the law,8451 saying,559
|
11 大軍之耶和華如此說：「現在［now］你要向祭司問律法說［saying］：
|
|
12 If2005 one376 bear5375 holy6944 flesh1320 in the skirt3671 of his garment,899 and with his skirt3671 do touch5060 413 bread,3899 or pottage,5138 or wine,3196 or oil,8081 or any3605 meat,3978 shall it be holy?6942 And the priests3548 answered6030 and said,559 No.3808

12 若［If］有人用衣襟盛［bear］聖肉，這衣襟挨著餅，或湯，或酒，或油，或別的食物，這肉可算為［shall it be］聖嗎？」祭司說：「不算為聖。」
|
|
13 Then said559 Haggai,2292 If518 one that is unclean2931 by a dead body5315 touch5060 any3605 of these,428 shall it be unclean?2930 And the priests3548 answered6030 and said,559 It shall be unclean.2930
|
13 哈該又說：「若有人因摸死屍染了污穢，然後挨著這些物的哪一樣，這物算污穢嗎？」祭司說：「必算污穢。」
|
|
14 Then answered6030 Haggai,2292 and said,559 So3651 is this2088 people,5971 and so3651 is this2088 nation1471 before6440 me, saith5002 the LORD;3068 and so3651 is every3605 work4639 of their hands;3027 and that which834 they offer7126 there8033 is unclean.2931
|
14 於是哈該說：「耶和華說：這民這國，在我面前也是如此；他們手下的各樣工作都是如此；他們在壇上所獻的也是如此。」
|
|
15 And now,6258 I pray you,4994 consider7760 3824 from4480 this2088 day3117 and upward,4605 from before4480 2962 a stone68 was laid7760 upon413 a stone68 in the temple1964 of the LORD: 3068
|
15 現在你們當［pray］追想，此日以前，耶和華的殿沒有一塊石頭壘在石頭上的光景。
|
|
16 Since those days were,4480 1961 when one came935 to413 a heap6194 of twenty6242 measures, there were1961 but ten:6235 when one came935 to413 the wine vat3342 for to draw out2834 fifty2572 vessels out of the press,6333 there were1961 but twenty.6242
|
16 自那些日子以來［Since those days were］，有人來到穀堆，想得二十斗，只得了十斗；有人來到酒池，想得五十桶，只得了二十桶。
|
|
17 I smote5221 you with blasting7711 and with mildew3420 and with hail1259 in854 all3605 the labors4639 of your hands;3027 yet ye turned not369 to413 me, saith5002 the LORD.3068
|
17 在你們手下勞碌所作的一切工上［in all the labours of your hands］，我以旱風、霉爛、冰雹攻擊你們；你們仍不歸向我，這是耶和華說的。
|
|
18 Consider7760 3824 now4994 from4480 this2088 day3117 and upward,4605 from the four702 and twentieth6242 day4480 3117 of the ninth8671 month, even from4480 the day3117 that834 the foundation of the LORD's temple was laid,3245 1964 3068 consider7760 3824 it.
|
18 現在［now］要追想此日以前，從［from］這九月二十四日起，就是從［even from］立耶和華殿根基的那日起［from the day］追想［consider］。
|
|
19 Is the seed2233 yet5750 in the barn?4035 yea, as yet5704 the vine,1612 and the fig tree,8384 and the pomegranate,7416 and the olive2132 tree,6086 hath not3808 brought forth:5375 from4480 this2088 day3117 will I bless1288 you.
|
19 倉裏還［yet］有穀種嗎？葡萄樹、無花果樹、石榴樹、橄欖樹都還［yet］沒有結果子；從今日起，我必賜福與你們。
|
|
20 And again8145 the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 unto413 Haggai2292 in the four702 and twentieth6242 day of the month,2320 saying,559
|
20 這月二十四日，耶和華的話又［again］臨到哈該說：
|
|
21 Speak559 to413 Zerubbabel,2216 governor6346 of Judah,3063 saying,559 I589 will shake7493 853 the heavens8064 and the earth;776
|
21 你要告訴猶大省長所羅巴伯說：「我必震動諸天大地［the heavens and the earth］；
|
|
22 And I will overthrow2015 the throne3678 of kingdoms,4467 and I will destroy8045 the strength2392 of the kingdoms4467 of the heathen;1471 and I will overthrow2015 the chariots,4818 and those that ride7392 in them; and the horses5483 and their riders7392 shall come down,3381 every one376 by the sword2719 of his brother.251

22 我必傾覆列國的寶座，除滅異教民之國［kingdoms of the heathen］的勢力；我又要［and I will］傾覆戰車並那些駕馭其中的［and those that ride in them］。馬必跌倒，騎馬的敗落，各人被他兄弟［his brother］的刀所殺。

|
23 In that1931 day,3117 saith5002 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 will I take3947 thee, O Zerubbabel,2216 my servant,5650 the son1121 of Shealtiel,7597 saith5002 the LORD,3068 and will make7760 thee as a signet:2368 for3588 I have chosen977 thee, saith5002 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635

23 大軍之耶和華說：我僕人撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯啊，耶和華說［saith the LORD］，到那日，我必以你為印；因我揀選了你，這是大軍之耶和華說的。」
|
