1 My son,1121 if518 thou wilt receive3947 my words,561 and hide6845 my commandments4687 with854 thee;
|
1 我兒，你若領受我的言語，存記我的命令，
|
|
2 So that thou incline7181 thine ear241 unto wisdom,2451 and apply5186 thine heart3820 to understanding;8394
|
2 側耳聽智慧，專心求聰明，
|
|
3 Yea,3588 if518 thou criest7121 after knowledge,998 and liftest up5414 thy voice6963 for understanding;8394
|
3 呼求知識［knowledge］，揚聲求聰明，
|
|
4 If518 thou seekest1245 her as silver,3701 and searchest2664 for her as for hid treasures;4301
|
4 尋找她，如尋找銀子，搜求她，如搜求隱藏的珍寶，
|
|
5 Then227 shalt thou understand995 the fear3374 of the LORD,3068 and find4672 the knowledge1847 of God.430
|
5 你就明白敬畏耶和華，得以認識神。
|
|
6 For3588 the LORD3068 giveth5414 wisdom:2451 out of his mouth4480 6310 cometh knowledge1847 and understanding.8394
|
6 因為，耶和華賜人智慧；知識和聰明都由他口而出。
|
|
7 He layeth up6845 sound wisdom8454 for the righteous:3477 he is a buckler4043 to them that walk1980 uprightly.8537
|
7 他給義人［righteous］存留真智慧；他乃行事正直之人的擋牌［he is abuckler to them that walk uprightly］。
|
|
8 He keepeth5341 the paths734 of judgment,4941 and preserveth8104 the way1870 of his saints.2623
|
8 他［He］要保守公平人的路，護庇他聖民［his saints］的道。
|
|
9 Then227 shalt thou understand995 righteousness,6664 and judgment,4941 and equity;4339 yea, every3605 good2896 path.4570
|
9 你也必明白公義［righteousness］、公平、公正［equity］、一切的善道。
|
|
10 When3588 wisdom2451 entereth935 into thine heart,3820 and knowledge1847 is pleasant5276 unto thy soul;5315
|
10 智慧必入你心；你的魂［soul］要以知識為美。
|
|
11 Discretion4209 shall preserve8104 5921 thee, understanding8394 shall keep5341 thee:
|
11 謀略必護衛你；聰明必保守你，
|
|
12 To deliver5337 thee from the way4480 1870 of the evil7451 man, from the man4480 376 that speaketh1696 froward things;8419
|
12 要救你脫離惡人的道［way of the evil man］，脫離說乖謬話的人。
|
|
13 Who leave5800 the paths734 of uprightness,3476 to walk1980 in the ways1870 of darkness;2822
|
13 那等人捨棄正直的路，行走黑暗的道，
|
|
14 Who rejoice8056 to do6213 evil,7451 and delight in1523 the frowardness8419 of the wicked;7451
|
14 歡喜作惡，喜愛惡人的乖僻，
|
|
15 Whose834 ways734 are crooked,6141 and they froward3868 in their paths: 4570
|
15 在他們的道中彎曲，在他們的路上偏僻。
|
|
16 To deliver5337 thee from the strange woman,4480 802 2114 even from the stranger4480 5237 which flattereth2505 with her words;561
|
16 智慧要救你脫離外女［strange woman］，就是那以說話奉承人的外人［stranger which flattereth with her words］。
|
|
17 Which forsaketh5800 the guide441 of her youth,5271 and forgetteth7911 the covenant1285 of her God.430
|
17 她離棄幼年的引導［guide］，忘了神的盟約。
|
|
18 For3588 her house1004 inclineth7743 unto413 death,4194 and her paths4570 unto413 the dead.7496
|
18 她的家陷入死地；她的路偏向死人［dead］。
|
|
19 None3808 3605 that go unto935 her return again,7725 neither3808 take they hold5381 of the paths734 of life.2416
|
19 凡到她那裏去的，不得轉回，也得不著生命的路。
|
|
20 That4616 thou mayest walk1980 in the way1870 of good2896 men, and keep8104 the paths734 of the righteous.6662
|
20 智慧必使你行善人的道，守義人的路。
|
|
21 For3588 the upright3477 shall dwell in7931 the land,776 and the perfect8549 shall remain3498 in it.
|
21 正直人必在世上居住；完全人必在地上存留。
|
|
22 But the wicked7563 shall be cut off3772 from the earth,4480 776 and the transgressors898 shall be rooted5255 out of4480 it.
|
22 唯有惡人必然剪除；犯法的［transgressors］，必然拔出。
