2 Who4310 raised up5782 the righteous6664 man from the east,4480 4217 called7121 him to his foot,7272 gave5414 the nations1471 before6440 him, and made him rule7287 over kings?4428 he gave5414 them as the dust6083 to his sword,2719 and as driven5086 stubble7179 to his bow.7198

4 Wer tut6466 es und6213 macht es und ruft alle1755 Menschen nacheinander von Anfang7223 her? Ich7121 bin‘s, der HErr3068, beide der Erste7218 und der Letzte314.

5 The isles339 saw7200 it, and feared;3372 the ends7098 of the earth776 were afraid,2729 drew near,7126 and came.857

5 Da das die Inseln339 sahen7200, fürchteten3372 sie sich2729, und die Enden7098 der Erde776 erschraken; sie naheten und kamen herzu7126.

6 They helped5826 every one376 853 his neighbor;7453 and every one said559 to his brother,251 Be of good courage.2388

7 Der Zimmermann2796 nahm2388 den Goldschmied6884 zu sich2505 und machten1986 mit dem Hammer6360 das Blech1694 glatt auf dem Amboß6471 und sprachen559: Das wird4131 fein2896 stehen! Und hefteten‘s mit Nägeln4548, daß es nicht sollte wackeln.

8 Du aber, Israel3478, mein Knecht5650, Jakob3290, den ich erwählet habe977, du Same2233 Abrahams85, meines Geliebten157,

9 Thou whom834 I have taken2388 from the ends4480 7098 of the earth,776 and called7121 thee from the chief men4480 678 thereof, and said559 unto thee, Thou859 art my servant;5650 I have chosen977 thee, and not3808 cast thee away.3988

9 der ich2388 dich678 gestärkt habe von der Welt776 Ende7098 her und habe dich berufen7121 von ihren Gewaltigen und sprach559 zu dir: Du sollst mein Knecht5650 sein, denn ich erwähle977 dich und verwerfe dich nicht3988,

10 Fear3372 thou not;408 for3588 I589 am with5973 thee: be not408 dismayed;8159 for3588 I589 am thy God:430 I will strengthen553 thee; yea,637 I will help5826 thee; yea,637 I will uphold8551 thee with the right hand3225 of my righteousness.6664

10 fürchte3372 dich8159 nicht, ich bin mit dir; weiche nicht, denn ich bin dein GOtt430! Ich stärke553 dich, ich helfe5826 dir auch, ich erhalte8551 dich durch die rechte Hand3225 meiner Gerechtigkeit6664.

11 Behold,2005 all3605 they that were incensed2734 against thee shall be ashamed954 and confounded:3637 they shall be1961 as nothing;369 and they376 that strive7379 with thee shall perish.6

11 Siehe, sie sollen zu Spott und zuschanden werden954, alle, die dir gram sind2734; sie sollen werden3637 als nichts; und die Leute582, so mit dir hadern7379, sollen umkommen6,

12 Thou shalt seek1245 them, and shalt not3808 find4672 them,376 even them that contended4695 with thee: they376 that war4421 against thee shall be1961 as nothing,369 and as a thing of naught.657

12 daß du1245 nach ihnen fragen möchtest und wirst sie nicht finden. Die Leute582, so mit dir zanken4695, sollen werden als nichts657, und die Leute, so wider dich streiten4421, sollen ein Ende haben4672.

13 For3588 I589 the LORD3068 thy God430 will hold2388 thy right hand,3225 saying559 unto thee, Fear3372 not;408 I589 will help5826 thee.

13 Denn ich2388 bin der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, der deine rechte Hand3225 stärket und zu dir spricht559: Fürchte3372 dich nicht, ich helfe5826 dir!

14 Fear3372 not,408 thou worm8438 Jacob,3290 and ye men4962 of Israel;3478 I589 will help5826 thee, saith5002 the LORD,3068 and thy redeemer,1350 the Holy One6918 of Israel.3478

14 So fürchte3372 dich nicht, du Würmlein8438 Jakob3290, ihr armer Haufe4962 Israel3478! Ich helfe5826 dir, spricht5002 der HErr3068, und dein Erlöser1350, der Heilige6918 in Israel3478.

15 Behold,2009 I will make7760 thee a new2319 sharp2742 threshing instrument4173 having1167 teeth:6374 thou shalt thresh1758 the mountains,2022 and beat them small,1854 and shalt make7760 the hills1389 as chaff.4671

15 Siehe, ich habe7760 dich zum scharfen neuen2319 Dreschwagen2742 gemacht, der Zacken6374 hat1167, daß du sollst Berge2022 zerdreschen1758 und zermalmen1854 und die Hügel1389 wie Spreu4671 machen7760.

16 Thou shalt fan2219 them, and the wind7307 shall carry them away,5375 and the whirlwind5591 shall scatter6327 them: and thou859 shalt rejoice1523 in the LORD,3068 and shalt glory1984 in the Holy One6918 of Israel.3478

16 Du sollst sie1984 zerstreuen2219, daß sie der Wind7307 wegführe5375 und der Wirbel5591 verwebe. Du aber wirst fröhlich1523 sein am HErrn3068 und wirst dich rühmen des Heiligen6918 in Israel3478.

17 When the poor6041 and needy34 seek1245 water,4325 and there is none,369 and their tongue3956 faileth5405 for thirst,6772 I589 the LORD3068 will hear6030 them, I the God430 of Israel3478 will not3808 forsake5800 them.

17 Die Elenden34 und Armen6041 suchen Wasser4325, und ist nichts da; ihre Zunge3956 verdorret vor Durst6772. Aber ich, der HErr3068, will sie1245 erhören6030; ich, der GOtt430 Israels3478, will sie nicht verlassen5800,

18 I will open6605 rivers5104 in5921 high places,8205 and fountains4599 in the midst8432 of the valleys:1237 I will make7760 the wilderness4057 a pool98 of water,4325 and the dry6723 land776 springs4161 of water.4325

19 I will plant5414 in the wilderness4057 the cedar,730 the shittah tree,7848 and the myrtle,1918 and the oil8081 tree;6086 I will set7760 in the desert6160 the fir tree,1265 and the pine,8410 and the box tree8391 together: 3162

19 ich will in der Wüste4057 geben5414 Zedern730, Föhren, Myrten1918 und6086 Kiefern8081; ich will auf dem Gefilde6160 geben Tannen1265, Buchen8410 und7760 Buchsbaum8391 miteinander3162,

20 That4616 they may see,7200 and know,3045 and consider,7760 and understand7919 together,3162 that3588 the hand3027 of the LORD3068 hath done6213 this,2063 and the Holy One6918 of Israel3478 hath created1254 it.

20 auf daß man sehe7200 und erkenne3045 und merke und verstehe zugleich3162, daß des HErrn3068 Hand3027 habe7760 solches7919 getan6213, und der Heilige6918 in Israel3478 habe1254 solches geschaffen.

21 Produce7126 your cause,7379 saith559 the LORD;3068 bring forth5066 your strong6110 reasons, saith559 the King4428 of Jacob.3290
|
21 So lasset eure Sache7379 herkommen, spricht559 der HErr3068; bringet her5066, worauf ihr7126 stehet6110, spricht559 der König4428 in Jakob3290.
|

22 Let them bring them forth,5066 and show5046 us853 what834 shall happen:7136 let them show5046 the former things,7223 what4100 they2007 be, that we may consider7760 3820 them, and know3045 the latter end319 of them; or176 declare8085 us things for to come.935

22 Lasset7760 sie5066 herzutreten und uns8085 verkündigen5046, was künftig ist7136! Verkündiget5046 uns und weissaget etwas zuvor7223; lasset uns mit unserm Herzen3820 darauf achten und merken3045, wie es hernach319 gehen935 soll; oder lasset uns doch hören, was zukünftig ist!

23 Show5046 the things that are to come857 hereafter,268 that we may know3045 that3588 ye859 are gods:430 yea,637 do good,3190 or do evil,7489 that we may be dismayed,8159 and behold7200 it together.3162

23 Verkündiget uns, was hernach268 kommen wird857, so wollen wir merken3045, daß ihr Götter430 seid. Trotz, tut Gutes oder Schaden7489, so wollen wir davon reden5046 und3190 miteinander3162 schauen7200.

24 Behold,2005 ye859 are of nothing,4480 369 and your work6467 of naught:4480 659 an abomination8441 is he that chooseth977 you.

24 Siehe, ihr977 seid aus nichts369, und euer Tun6467 ist auch aus nichts659, und euch wählen ist ein Greuel8441.

25 I have raised up5782 one from the north,4480 6828 and he shall come:857 from the rising4480 4217 of the sun8121 shall he call7121 upon my name:8034 and he shall come935 upon princes5461 as3644 upon mortar,2563 and as3644 the potter3335 treadeth7429 clay.2916

25 Ich7121 aber erwecke5782 einen von Mitternacht6828, und kommt857 vom Aufgang4217 der Sonne8121. Er wird ihnen meinen Namen8034 predigen und wird über die Gewaltigen5461 gehen935 wie über Leimen und wird den Kot2563 treten7429 wie ein Töpfer3335.

26 Who4310 hath declared5046 from the beginning,4480 7218 that we may know?3045 and formerly,4480 6440 that we may say,559 He is righteous?6662 yea,637 there is none369 that showeth,5046 yea,637 there is none369 that declareth,8085 yea,637 there is none369 that heareth8085 your words.561

26 Wer kann etwas verkündigen5046 von6440 Anfang7218? so wollen wir‘s vernehmen; oder weissagen zuvor? so wollen wir sagen559: Du redest recht6662. Aber da ist3045 kein Verkündiger, keiner, der etwas hören8085 ließe, keiner, der von euch ein Wort561 hören8085 möge.

27 The first7223 shall say to Zion,6726 Behold,2009 behold2009 them: and I will give5414 to Jerusalem3389 one that bringeth good tidings.1319

27 Ich bin der Erste7223, der zu Zion6726 sagt: Siehe2009, da ist‘s! und ich gebe5414 Jerusalem3389 Prediger1319.

28 For I beheld,7200 and there was no369 man;376 even among them,4480 428 and there was no369 counselor,3289 that, when I asked7592 of them, could answer7725 a word.1697

28 Dort aber schaue ich, aber da7725 ist niemand376; und sehe7200 unter sie, aber da ist kein Ratgeber3289; ich frage7592 sie, aber da antworten sie nichts1697.

29 Behold,2005 they are all3605 vanity;205 their works4639 are nothing:657 their molten images5262 are wind7307 and confusion.8414

29 Siehe, es657 ist alles eitel8414 Mühe205 und nichts mit ihrem Tun4639; ihre Götzen5262 sind Wind7307 und eitel.
