1 Oh that3863 thou wouldest rend7167 the heavens,8064 that thou wouldest come down,3381 that the mountains2022 might flow down2151 at thy presence,4480 6440

1 О, если бы Ты расторг небеса и сошел! горы растаяли бы от лица Твоего,

2 As when the melting2003 fire784 burneth,6919 the fire784 causeth the waters4325 to boil,1158 to make thy name8034 known3045 to thine adversaries,6862 that the nations1471 may tremble7264 at thy presence!4480 6440
|
2 Как огонь сожигает хворост, как огонь кипятит воду. О, если бы Ты сошел, чтобы показать имя Твое врагам Твоим! от лица Твоего содрогнулись бы народы.

3 When thou didst6213 terrible things3372 which we looked not for,6960 3808 thou camest down,3381 the mountains2022 flowed down2151 at thy presence.4480 6440

3 Когда Ты делал страшные чудеса, которых мы не ждали, Ты нисходил, горы таяли от лица Твоего.
|
|
4 For since the beginning of the world4480 5769 men have not3808 heard,8085 nor3808 perceived by the ear,238 neither3808 hath the eye5869 seen,7200 O God,430 beside2108 thee, what he hath prepared6213 for him that waiteth2442 for him.
|
4 И от века не слыхали, никакому уху не открывалось, никакое око не видало, о Боже, кроме Тебя, что Господь сделает для надеющихся на Него.
|

5 Thou meetest6293 853 him that rejoiceth7797 and worketh6213 righteousness,6664 those that remember2142 thee in thy ways:1870 behold,2005 thou859 art wroth;7107 for we have sinned:2398 in those is continuance,5769 and we shall be saved.3467
|
5 Ты встретился бы с людьми, которые с радостью делают правду, поминают Тебя на путях Твоих. Се! Ты гневаешься, а мы вечно от них уклоняемся; и как же мы спасемся?

6 But we are1961 all3605 as an unclean2931 thing, and all3605 our righteousnesses6666 are as filthy5708 rags;899 and we all3605 do fade5034 as a leaf;5929 and our iniquities,5771 like the wind,7307 have taken us away.5375
|
6 И се! все мы сделались как нечистый, и вся праведность наша как одежды во время месячного очищения; и все мы поблекли как лист, и беззакония наши носят нас как ветер.
|
|
7 And there is none369 that calleth7121 upon thy name,8034 that stirreth up himself5782 to take hold2388 of thee: for3588 thou hast hid5641 thy face6440 from4480 us, and hast consumed4127 us, because3027 of our iniquities.5771
|
7 И никто не призывает имени Твоего, не возбуждает себя на то, чтоб взяться за Тебя, потому что Ты сокрыл лице Твое от нас, и томишь нас в руке беззаконий наших.
|

8 But now,6258 O LORD,3068 thou859 art our father;1 we587 are the clay,2563 and thou859 our potter;3335 and we all3605 are the work4639 of thy hand.3027
|
8 Но, Иегова, Ты отец наш; мы глина, а Ты художник, образовавший нас, и все мы дело руки Твоей.
|
|
9 Be not wroth7107 408 very sore,5704 3966 O LORD,3068 neither408 remember2142 iniquity5771 forever:5703 behold,2005 see,5027 we beseech thee,4994 we are all3605 thy people.5971
|
9 Не гневайся, Иегова, без меры, и не вечно помни беззаконие. Се, воззри! мы все народ Твой.
|
|
10 Thy holy6944 cities5892 are1961 a wilderness,4057 Zion6726 is1961 a wilderness,4057 Jerusalem3389 a desolation.8077
|
10 Святые грады Твои сделались пустынею; пустынею сделался Сион; Иерусалим разорен.
|
|
11 Our holy6944 and our beautiful8597 house,1004 where834 our fathers1 praised1984 thee, is1961 burned up8316 with fire:784 and all3605 our pleasant things4261 are1961 laid waste.2723
|
11 Дом наш святый, и слава наша, где отцы наши восхваляли Тебя, предан огню на сожжение, и все драгоценности наши разграблены.
|
|
12 Wilt thou refrain thyself662 for5921 these428 things, O LORD?3068 wilt thou hold thy peace,2814 and afflict6031 us very sore?5704 3966

12 Видя сие, уже ли будешь удерживаться, Иегова, будешь молчать и мучить нас без меры?
