1 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 unto413 Moses4872 in the plains6160 of Moab4124 by5921 Jordan3383 near Jericho,3405 saying,559

2 Command6680 853 the children1121 of Israel,3478 that they give5414 unto the Levites3881 of the inheritance4480 5159 of their possession272 cities5892 to dwell in;3427 and ye shall give5414 also unto the Levites3881 suburbs4054 for the cities5892 round about5439 them.

3 And the cities5892 shall they have1961 to dwell in;3427 and the suburbs4054 of them shall be1961 for their cattle,929 and for their goods,7399 and for all3605 their beasts.2416

4 And the suburbs4054 of the cities,5892 which834 ye shall give5414 unto the Levites,3881 shall reach from the wall4480 7023 of the city5892 and outward2351 a thousand505 cubits520 round about.5439

5 And ye shall measure4058 from without4480 2351 the city5892 on853 the east6924 side6285 two thousand505 cubits,520 and on the south5045 side6285 two thousand505 cubits,520 and on the west3220 side6285 two thousand505 cubits,520 and on the north6828 side6285 two thousand505 cubits;520 and the city5892 shall be in the midst:8432 this2088 shall be1961 to them the suburbs4054 of the cities.5892

6 And among854 the cities5892 which834 ye shall give5414 unto the Levites3881 there shall be853 six8337 cities5892 for refuge,4733 which834 ye shall appoint5414 for the manslayer,7523 that he may flee5127 thither:8033 and to5921 them ye shall add5414 forty705 and two8147 cities.5892

7 So all3605 the cities5892 which834 ye shall give5414 to the Levites3881 shall be forty705 and eight8083 cities:5892 them shall ye give with854 their suburbs.4054

8 And the cities5892 which834 ye shall give5414 shall be of the possession4480 272 of the children1121 of Israel:3478 from4480 854 them that have many7227 ye shall give many;7235 but from4480 854 them that have few4592 ye shall give few:4591 every one376 shall give5414 of his cities4480 5892 unto the Levites3881 according to6310 his inheritance5159 which834 he inheriteth.5157

11 Then ye shall appoint7136 you cities5892 to be1961 cities5892 of refuge4733 for you; that the slayer7523 may flee5127 thither,8033 which killeth5221 any person5315 at unawares.7684

12 And they shall be1961 unto you cities5892 for refuge4733 from the avenger;4480 1350 that the manslayer7523 die4191 not,3808 until5704 he stand5975 before6440 the congregation5712 in judgment.4941

13 And of these cities5892 which834 ye shall give5414 six8337 cities5892 shall ye have1961 for refuge.4733

20 But if518 he thrust1920 him of hatred,8135 or176 hurl7993 at5921 him by laying of wait,6660 that he die;4191

21 Or176 in enmity342 smite5221 him with his hand,3027 that he die:4191 he that smote5221 him shall surely be put to death;4191 4191 for he1931 is a murderer:7523 the revenger1350 of blood1818 shall slay4191 853 the murderer,7523 when he meeteth6293 him.

22 But if518 he thrust1920 him suddenly6621 without3808 enmity,342 or176 have cast7993 upon5921 him any thing3605 3627 without3808 laying of wait,6660

23 Or176 with any3605 stone,68 wherewith834 a man may die,4191 seeing7200 him not,3808 and cast5307 it upon5921 him, that he die,4191 and was not3808 his enemy,341 neither3808 sought1245 his harm: 7451

24 Then the congregation5712 shall judge8199 between996 the slayer5221 and the revenger1350 of blood1818 according to5921 these428 judgments: 4941

25 And the congregation5712 shall deliver5337 853 the slayer7523 out of the hand4480 3027 of the revenger1350 of blood,1818 and the congregation5712 shall restore7725 him to413 the city5892 of his refuge,4733 whither834 8033 he was fled:5127 and he shall abide3427 in it unto5704 the death4194 of the high1419 priest,3548 which834 was anointed4886 with the holy6944 oil.8081

26 But if518 the slayer7523 shall at any time come without3318 3318 853 the border1366 of the city5892 of his refuge,4733 whither834 8033 he was fled;5127

27 And the revenger1350 of blood1818 find4672 him without4480 2351 the borders1366 of the city5892 of his refuge,4733 and the revenger1350 of blood1818 kill7523 853 the slayer;7523 he shall not369 be guilty of blood: 1818

28 Because3588 he should have remained3427 in the city5892 of his refuge4733 until5704 the death4194 of the high1419 priest:3548 but after310 the death4194 of the high1419 priest3548 the slayer7523 shall return7725 into413 the land776 of his possession.272

29 So these428 things shall be1961 for a statute2708 of judgment4941 unto you throughout your generations1755 in all3605 your dwellings.4186

30 Whoso3605 killeth5221 any person,5315 853 the murderer7523 shall be put to death7523 by the mouth6310 of witnesses:5707 but one259 witness5707 shall not3808 testify6030 against any person5315 to cause him to die.4191

31 Moreover ye shall take3947 no3808 satisfaction3724 for the life5315 of a murderer,7523 which834 is guilty7563 of death:4191 but3588 he shall be surely put to death.4191 4191

32 And ye shall take3947 no3808 satisfaction3724 for him that is fled5127 to413 the city5892 of his refuge,4733 that he should come again7725 to dwell3427 in the land,776 until5704 the death4194 of the priest.3548

33 So ye shall not3808 pollute2610 853 the land776 wherein834 ye859 are: for3588 blood1818 it1931 defileth2610 853 the land:776 and the land776 cannot3808 be cleansed3722 of the blood1818 that834 is shed8210 therein, but3588 518 by the blood1818 of him that shed8210 it.

34 Defile2930 not3808 therefore853 the land776 which834 ye859 shall inhabit,3427 wherein834 8432 I589 dwell:7931 for3588 I589 the LORD3068 dwell7931 among8432 the children1121 of Israel.3478

2 Дай повеление сынам Израилевым, чтоб они из уделов владения своего дали Левитам города для жительства, и предместия городов со всех сторон дайте Левитам.

3 Города будут им для жительства, и предместия их будут для скота их и для имения их и для всех животных их.

4 Предместия городов, которые вы должны дать Левитам, от стены города должны простираться на [две] тысячи локтей, во все стороны.

5 И отмерьте вне города к восточной стороне две тысячи локтей, и к южной стороне две тысячи локтей, и к морю две тысячи локтей и к северной стороне две тысячи локтей, а посредине город: таковы будут предместия городов их.

6 Из городов, которые вы дадите Левитам, [будет] шесть городов для убежища, в которые вы позволите убегать убийце; и сверх их дайте сорок два города.

7 Итак всех городов, которые вы должны дать Левитам, будет сорок восемь городов, с предместиями их.

8 И когда будете давать города из владения сынов Израилевых, тогда из большого дайте более, из малого менее; смотря по уделу, какой кто получит, должен он дать из городов своих Левитам.

9 И говорил Господь Моисею, и сказал:

10 Объяви сынам Израилевым и скажи им: когда вы перейдете за Иордан в землю Ханаанскую,

11 Выберите себе города, которые бы были у вас городами для убежища, куда мог бы убежать убийца, убивший человека по ошибке.

12 И будут у вас города сии убежищем от родственника мстящего [за кровь], чтобы не был умерщвлен убивший, прежде нежели предстанет на суд пред общество.

13 Городов для убежища, которые должны вы дать, должно быть у вас шесть городов.

14 Три города дайте по сю сторону Иордана, и три города дайте в земле Ханаанской, чтоб они были городами убежищными.

15 Для сынов Израилевых и для пришельца и для поселенца, поселившегося у вас, будут сии шесть городов убежищами, чтоб убегал туда всякий, убивший человека по ошибке.

16 Если кто ударит кого железным орудием, так что тот умрет: то он убийца; такого убийцу должно предать смерти.

17 И если кто ударит кого из руки камнем, от которого можно умереть, так что тот умрет: то он убийца; такого убийцу должно предать смерти.

18 Или если деревянным каким орудием, от которого можно умереть, ударит из руки, так что тот умрет: то он убийца; такого убийцу должно предать смерти.

19 Родственник, мстящий за кровь, сам может умертвить такого убийцу; лишь только встретит его, сам может умертвить его.

20 Если кто толкнет кого по ненависти, или с умыслом бросит на него что-нибудь, так что тот умрет,

21 Или по вражде ударит его рукою, так что тот умрет: то ударившего должно предать смерти, он убийца; родственник, мстящий за кровь, может умертвить такого убийцу, лишь только встретит его.

22 Если же он толкнет его нечаянно, без вражды, или бросит на него что-нибудь без умысла,

23 Или какой-нибудь камень, от которого можно умереть, не видя уронит его, так что тот умрет, и притом если он не был враг ему и не искал ему зла:

24 То общество должно произвести суд между убийцею и родственником, мстящим за кровь, по сим постановлениям,

25 И должно общество спасти убийцу от руки родственника, мстящего за кровь, и должно возвратить его общество в город убежища его, куда он убежал, чтоб он жил там до смерти великого священника, который помазан священным елеем.

26 Если же убийца выйдет за предел города убежища, в который он убежал,

27 И найдет его родственник, мстящий за кровь, вне пределов города убежища его, и убьет убийцу сего родственник, мстящий за кровь: то не будет на нем вины кровопролития.

28 Ибо он должен жить в городе убежища своего до смерти великого священника, и по смерти великого священника должен возвратиться убийца в землю владения своего.

29 Да будет сие у вас постановлено в закон в роды ваши, во всех жилищах ваших.

30 Если кто убьет человека: то убийцу должно убить по свидетельству свидетелей; но одного свидетеля свидетельство недостаточно, чтобы приговорить к смерти.

31 Не берите выкупа за душу убийцы, который повинен смерти, но его должно предать смерти.

32 И не берите выкупа за убежавшего в город убежища, чтоб ему позволить жить в земле своей прежде смерти [великого] священника.

33 Не оскверняйте земли, на которой вы [будете жить], потому что кровь оскверняет землю, и земля не иначе очищается от пролитой на ней крови, как кровью пролившего ее.

34 Не должно осквернять землю, на которой вы живете, среди которой обитаю Я; ибо Я, Иегова, обитаю среди сынов Израилевых.

7 Итак всех городов, которые вы должны дать Левитам, будет сорок восемь городов, с предместиями их.

11 Выберите себе города, которые бы были у вас городами для убежища, куда мог бы убежать убийца, убивший человека по ошибке.

13 Городов для убежища, которые должны вы дать, должно быть у вас шесть городов.

14 Три города дайте по сю сторону Иордана, и три города дайте в земле Ханаанской, чтоб они были городами убежищными.

19 Родственник, мстящий за кровь, сам может умертвить такого убийцу; лишь только встретит его, сам может умертвить его.

25 И должно общество спасти убийцу от руки родственника, мстящего за кровь, и должно возвратить его общество в город убежища его, куда он убежал, чтоб он жил там до смерти великого священника, который помазан священным елеем.

26 Если же убийца выйдет за предел города убежища, в который он убежал,

27 And the revenger1350 of blood1818 find4672 him without4480 2351 the borders1366 of the city5892 of his refuge,4733 and the revenger1350 of blood1818 kill7523 853 the slayer;7523 he shall not369 be guilty of blood: 1818

27 И найдет его родственник, мстящий за кровь, вне пределов города убежища его, и убьет убийцу сего родственник, мстящий за кровь: то не будет на нем вины кровопролития.

28 Because3588 he should have remained3427 in the city5892 of his refuge4733 until5704 the death4194 of the high1419 priest:3548 but after310 the death4194 of the high1419 priest3548 the slayer7523 shall return7725 into413 the land776 of his possession.272

28 Ибо он должен жить в городе убежища своего до смерти великого священника, и по смерти великого священника должен возвратиться убийца в землю владения своего.

29 So these428 things shall be1961 for a statute2708 of judgment4941 unto you throughout your generations1755 in all3605 your dwellings.4186

29 Да будет сие у вас постановлено в закон в роды ваши, во всех жилищах ваших.

30 Whoso3605 killeth5221 any person,5315 853 the murderer7523 shall be put to death7523 by the mouth6310 of witnesses:5707 but one259 witness5707 shall not3808 testify6030 against any person5315 to cause him to die.4191

30 Если кто убьет человека: то убийцу должно убить по свидетельству свидетелей; но одного свидетеля свидетельство недостаточно, чтобы приговорить к смерти.

31 Moreover ye shall take3947 no3808 satisfaction3724 for the life5315 of a murderer,7523 which834 is guilty7563 of death:4191 but3588 he shall be surely put to death.4191 4191

31 Не берите выкупа за душу убийцы, который повинен смерти, но его должно предать смерти.

32 And ye shall take3947 no3808 satisfaction3724 for him that is fled5127 to413 the city5892 of his refuge,4733 that he should come again7725 to dwell3427 in the land,776 until5704 the death4194 of the priest.3548

32 И не берите выкупа за убежавшего в город убежища, чтоб ему позволить жить в земле своей прежде смерти [великого] священника.

33 So ye shall not3808 pollute2610 853 the land776 wherein834 ye859 are: for3588 blood1818 it1931 defileth2610 853 the land:776 and the land776 cannot3808 be cleansed3722 of the blood1818 that834 is shed8210 therein, but3588 518 by the blood1818 of him that shed8210 it.

33 Не оскверняйте земли, на которой вы [будете жить], потому что кровь оскверняет землю, и земля не иначе очищается от пролитой на ней крови, как кровью пролившего ее.

34 Defile2930 not3808 therefore853 the land776 which834 ye859 shall inhabit,3427 wherein834 8432 I589 dwell:7931 for3588 I589 the LORD3068 dwell7931 among8432 the children1121 of Israel.3478

34 Не должно осквернять землю, на которой вы живете, среди которой обитаю Я; ибо Я, Иегова, обитаю среди сынов Израилевых.
