Chapter 9

1 Then the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Go in935 unto413 Pharaoh,6547 and tell1696 413 him, Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 God430 of the Hebrews,5680 Let853 my people5971 go,7971 that they may serve5647 me.

2 For3588 if518 thou859 refuse3986 to let them go,7971 and wilt hold2388 them still,5750

3 Behold,2009 the hand3027 of the LORD3068 is1961 upon thy cattle4735 which834 is in the field,7704 upon the horses,5483 upon the asses,2543 upon the camels,1581 upon the oxen,1241 and upon the sheep:6629 there shall be a very3966 grievous3515 murrain.1698

4 And the LORD3068 shall sever6395 between996 the cattle4735 of Israel3478 and the cattle4735 of Egypt:4714 and there shall nothing3808 1697 die4191 of all4480 3605 that is the children's1121 of Israel.3478

5 And the LORD3068 appointed7760 a set time,4150 saying,559 Tomorrow4279 the LORD3068 shall do6213 this2088 thing1697 in the land.776

6 And the LORD3068 did6213 853 that2088 thing1697 on the morrow,4480 4283 and all3605 the cattle4735 of Egypt4714 died:4191 but of the cattle4480 4735 of the children1121 of Israel3478 died4191 not3808 one.259

7 And Pharaoh6547 sent,7971 and, behold,2009 there was not3808 one259 of the cattle4480 4735 of the Israelites3478 dead.4191 And the heart3820 of Pharaoh6547 was hardened,3513 and he did not3808 let853 the people5971 go.7971

8 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses4872 and unto413 Aaron,175 Take3947 to you handfuls4393 2651 of ashes6368 of the furnace,3536 and let Moses4872 sprinkle2236 it toward the heaven8064 in the sight5869 of Pharaoh.6547

9 And it shall become1961 small dust80 in5921 all3605 the land776 of Egypt,4714 and shall be1961 a boil7822 breaking forth6524 with blains76 upon5921 man,120 and upon5921 beast,929 throughout all3605 the land776 of Egypt.4714

10 And they took3947 853 ashes6368 of the furnace,3536 and stood5975 before6440 Pharaoh;6547 and Moses4872 sprinkled2236 it up toward heaven;8064 and it became1961 a boil7822 breaking forth6524 with blains76 upon man,120 and upon beast.929

11 And the magicians2748 could3201 not3808 stand5975 before6440 Moses4872 because of4480 6440 the boils;7822 for3588 the boil7822 was1961 upon the magicians,2748 and upon all3605 the Egyptians.4714

12 And the LORD3068 hardened2388 853 the heart3820 of Pharaoh,6547 and he hearkened8085 not3808 unto413 them; as834 the LORD3068 had spoken1696 unto413 Moses.4872

13 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Rise up early7925 in the morning,1242 and stand3320 before6440 Pharaoh,6547 and say559 unto413 him, Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 God430 of the Hebrews,5680 Let853 my people5971 go,7971 that they may serve5647 me.

14 For3588 I589 will at this2063 time6471 send7971 853 all3605 my plagues4046 upon413 thine heart,3820 and upon thy servants,5650 and upon thy people;5971 that5668 thou mayest know3045 that3588 there is none369 like me3644 in all3605 the earth.776

15 For3588 now6258 I will stretch out7971 853 my hand,3027 that I may smite5221 thee and thy people5971 with pestilence;1698 and thou shalt be cut off3582 from4480 the earth.776

16 And in very deed199 for5668 this2063 cause have I raised thee up,5975 for5668 to show7200 in thee853 my power;3581 and that4616 my name8034 may be declared5608 throughout all3605 the earth.776

17 As yet5750 exaltest thou thyself5549 against my people,5971 that thou wilt not1115 let them go?7971

18 Behold,2009 tomorrow4279 about this time6256 I will cause it to rain4305 a very3966 grievous3515 hail,1259 such834 as3644 hath not3808 been1961 in Egypt4714 since4480 3117 the foundation3245 thereof even until5704 now.6258

19 Send7971 therefore now,6258 and gather5756 853 thy cattle,4735 and all3605 that834 thou hast in the field;7704 for upon every3605 man120 and beast929 which834 shall be found4672 in the field,7704 and shall not3808 be brought622 home,1004 the hail1259 shall come down3381 upon5921 them, and they shall die.4191

20 He that feared3372 853 the word1697 of the LORD3068 among the servants4480 5650 of Pharaoh6547 made853 his servants5650 and his cattle4735 flee5127 into413 the houses: 1004

21 And he that834 regarded7760 3820 not3808 the word1697 of the LORD3068 left5800 853 his servants5650 and his cattle4735 in the field.7704

22 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Stretch forth5186 853 thine hand3027 toward5921 heaven,8064 that there may be1961 hail1259 in all3605 the land776 of Egypt,4714 upon5921 man,120 and upon5921 beast,929 and upon5921 every3605 herb6212 of the field,7704 throughout the land776 of Egypt.4714

23 And Moses4872 stretched forth5186 853 his rod4294 toward5921 heaven:8064 and the LORD3068 sent5414 thunder6963 and hail,1259 and the fire784 ran along1980 upon the ground;776 and the LORD3068 rained4305 hail1259 upon5921 the land776 of Egypt.4714

24 So there was1961 hail,1259 and fire784 mingled3947 with8432 the hail,1259 very3966 grievous,3515 such as834 there was1961 none3808 like it3644 in all3605 the land776 of Egypt4714 since4480 227 it became1961 a nation.1471

25 And the hail1259 smote5221 throughout all3605 the land776 of Egypt4714 853 all3605 that834 was in the field,7704 both man4480 120 and beast;929 and the hail1259 smote5221 every3605 herb6212 of the field,7704 and broke7665 every3605 tree6086 of the field.7704

26 Only7535 in the land776 of Goshen,1657 where834 8033 the children1121 of Israel3478 were, was1961 there no3808 hail.1259

27 And Pharaoh6547 sent,7971 and called7121 for Moses4872 and Aaron,175 and said559 unto413 them, I have sinned2398 this time:6471 the LORD3068 is righteous,6662 and I589 and my people5971 are wicked.7563

28 Entreat6279 413 the LORD3068 (for it is enough)7227 that there be no4480 1961 more mighty430 thunderings6963 and hail;1259 and I will let you go,7971 and ye shall stay5975 no3808 longer.3254

29 And Moses4872 said559 unto413 him, As soon as I am gone out3318 of853 the city,5892 I will spread abroad6566 853 my hands3709 unto413 the LORD;3068 and the thunder6963 shall cease,2308 neither3808 shall there be1961 any more5750 hail;1259 that4616 thou mayest know3045 how that3588 the earth776 is the LORD's.3068

30 But as for thee859 and thy servants,5650 I know3045 that3588 ye will not yet2962 fear3372 4480 6440 the LORD3068 God.430

31 And the flax6594 and the barley8184 was smitten:5221 for3588 the barley8184 was in the ear,24 and the flax6594 was bolled.1392

32 But the wheat2406 and the rye3698 were not3808 smitten:5221 for3588 they2007 were not grown up.648

33 And Moses4872 went out3318 of853 the city5892 from4480 5973 Pharaoh,6547 and spread abroad6566 his hands3709 unto413 the LORD:3068 and the thunders6963 and hail1259 ceased,2308 and the rain4306 was not3808 poured5413 upon the earth.776

34 And when Pharaoh6547 saw7200 that3588 the rain4306 and the hail1259 and the thunders6963 were ceased,2308 he sinned2398 yet more,3254 and hardened3513 his heart,3820 he1931 and his servants.5650

35 And the heart3820 of Pharaoh6547 was hardened,2388 neither3808 would he let853 the children1121 of Israel3478 go;7971 as834 the LORD3068 had spoken1696 by3027 Moses.4872

3 то Господь обратит Свою силу против всего твоего скота в поле. Он наведёт ужасную болезнь на твоих лошадей, ослов, верблюдов, скот и овец.

4 Однако Господь сделает различие между скотом Израиля и скотом Египта, и ни одно животное, принадлежащее израильтянам, не погибнет.

5 Господь назначил время, когда всё это произойдёт: завтра Господь пошлёт мор на всю страну”».

6 На следующее утро весь скот Египта вымер, но ни одно животное, принадлежащее народу Израиля, не погибло.

7 Фараон послал узнать, погибло ли что-нибудь из израильского скота, но ни одно животное Израиля не погибло. Фараон продолжал упорствовать и не отпускал народ.

8 Господь сказал Моисею и Аарону: «Наберите по пригоршне печной золы и пусть Моисей подбросит золу в воздух в присутствии фараона.

9 Она превратится в пыль, которая пронесётся по Египетской земле, и, если эта пыль коснётся человека или животного, у того на теле появятся нарывы».

10 Тогда Моисей и Аарон набрали печной золы и предстали перед фараоном. Они подбросили золу в воздух, и люди, и животные стали покрываться нарывами.

11 Волшебники не смогли в этом воспрепятствовать Моисею, потому что они сами были покрыты нарывами. И повсюду в Египте случилось то же самое.

12 Но Господь сделал фараона упрямым, и он отказался слушать Моисея и Аарона. Всё случилось так, как сказал Господь.

13 Тогда Господь сказал Моисею: «Утром пойди к фараону и скажи ему, что Господь, Бог иудеев, говорит так: „Отпусти Мой народ пойти совершить Мне служение!

14 Если ты не сделаешь этого, Я обращу всю Мою силу против тебя, твоих приближённых и твоего народа. И тогда ты узнаешь, что нет на земле бога, подобного Мне.

15 Я мог бы силой Своей послать на тебя и всех египтян болезнь, которая бы уничтожила твой народ, стерев его с лица земли.

16 Но Я дал тебе власть, чтобы показать тебе Мою силу, и тогда люди всей земли узнают обо Мне!

17 Ты всё ещё противишься Моему народу и не отпускаешь его,

18 и поэтому завтра, в это время, Я пошлю сильнейший град, подобного которому никогда ещё не было в Египте со дня его основания.

19 Укрой свой скот в безопасном месте, и всё, принадлежащее тебе, что сейчас находится в поле, должно быть в укрытии, так как всякий человек или животное, оставшееся в поле, погибнет. Град поразит всё, что не будет укрыто в домах”».

20 Те из приближённых фараона, которые боялись слов Господа, быстро собрали свой скот и рабов в своих домах,

21 другие же пренебрегли посланием Господа, и эти люди потеряли всех своих рабов и скот, которые находились в поле.

22 Господь сказал Моисею: «Подними руку к небу, и град начнёт падать по всему Египту. Градины будут падать на людей, на скот и на все растения в полях Египта».

23 И тогда Моисей поднял к небу свой дорожный посох, и Господь послал гром и молнию, и град стал падать на землю по всему Египту.

24 Град падал, а сквозь него сверкала молния. Это был самый сильный град в Египте со времён его основания.

25 Град уничтожил всё в полях Египта: людей, скот и растения и поломал все деревья в полях.

26 Только в земле Гесем, там, где жил народ Израиля, не было града.

27 Фараон послал за Моисеем и Аароном и сказал им: «На этот раз я согрешил. Господь праведен, а я и народ мой виновны.

28 Хватит с нас града и грома от Господа! Помолитесь Господу, чтобы остановить град, и я отпущу вас и не буду более удерживать здесь».

29 «Как только я выйду из города, — сказал Моисей фараону, — я подниму руки в молитве к Господу, и перестанет греметь гром, и град прекратится. И тогда ты узнаешь, что Господь — в этой земле.

30 Но я знаю, что ни ты, ни твои приближённые ещё не почитаете Бога и не боитесь Его».

31 Лён уже дал семена, и ячмень заколосился, поэтому эти растения и погибли,

32 но пшеница и полба поспевают позже, чем другие злаки, и поэтому они не погибли.

33 Моисей ушёл от фараона, вышел из города и простёр руки в молитве к Господу. Град и гром прекратились, а потом остановился и дождь.

34 Увидев, что дождь, град и гром прекратились, фараон опять поступил неправедно: он и его приближённые снова заупрямились.

35 Фараон отказался отпустить народ Израиля. Всё случилось так, как Господь предсказал через Моисея.

8 Господь сказал Моисею и Аарону: «Наберите по пригоршне печной золы и пусть Моисей подбросит золу в воздух в присутствии фараона.

11 Волшебники не смогли в этом воспрепятствовать Моисею, потому что они сами были покрыты нарывами. И повсюду в Египте случилось то же самое.

14 For3588 I589 will at this2063 time6471 send7971 853 all3605 my plagues4046 upon413 thine heart,3820 and upon thy servants,5650 and upon thy people;5971 that5668 thou mayest know3045 that3588 there is none369 like me3644 in all3605 the earth.776

14 Если ты не сделаешь этого, Я обращу всю Мою силу против тебя, твоих приближённых и твоего народа. И тогда ты узнаешь, что нет на земле бога, подобного Мне.

15 For3588 now6258 I will stretch out7971 853 my hand,3027 that I may smite5221 thee and thy people5971 with pestilence;1698 and thou shalt be cut off3582 from4480 the earth.776

15 Я мог бы силой Своей послать на тебя и всех египтян болезнь, которая бы уничтожила твой народ, стерев его с лица земли.

16 And in very deed199 for5668 this2063 cause have I raised thee up,5975 for5668 to show7200 in thee853 my power;3581 and that4616 my name8034 may be declared5608 throughout all3605 the earth.776

16 Но Я дал тебе власть, чтобы показать тебе Мою силу, и тогда люди всей земли узнают обо Мне!

17 As yet5750 exaltest thou thyself5549 against my people,5971 that thou wilt not1115 let them go?7971

17 Ты всё ещё противишься Моему народу и не отпускаешь его,

18 Behold,2009 tomorrow4279 about this time6256 I will cause it to rain4305 a very3966 grievous3515 hail,1259 such834 as3644 hath not3808 been1961 in Egypt4714 since4480 3117 the foundation3245 thereof even until5704 now.6258

18 и поэтому завтра, в это время, Я пошлю сильнейший град, подобного которому никогда ещё не было в Египте со дня его основания.

19 Send7971 therefore now,6258 and gather5756 853 thy cattle,4735 and all3605 that834 thou hast in the field;7704 for upon every3605 man120 and beast929 which834 shall be found4672 in the field,7704 and shall not3808 be brought622 home,1004 the hail1259 shall come down3381 upon5921 them, and they shall die.4191

19 Укрой свой скот в безопасном месте, и всё, принадлежащее тебе, что сейчас находится в поле, должно быть в укрытии, так как всякий человек или животное, оставшееся в поле, погибнет. Град поразит всё, что не будет укрыто в домах”».

20 He that feared3372 853 the word1697 of the LORD3068 among the servants4480 5650 of Pharaoh6547 made853 his servants5650 and his cattle4735 flee5127 into413 the houses: 1004

20 Те из приближённых фараона, которые боялись слов Господа, быстро собрали свой скот и рабов в своих домах,

21 And he that834 regarded7760 3820 not3808 the word1697 of the LORD3068 left5800 853 his servants5650 and his cattle4735 in the field.7704

21 другие же пренебрегли посланием Господа, и эти люди потеряли всех своих рабов и скот, которые находились в поле.

22 Господь сказал Моисею: «Подними руку к небу, и град начнёт падать по всему Египту. Градины будут падать на людей, на скот и на все растения в полях Египта».

23 And Moses4872 stretched forth5186 853 his rod4294 toward5921 heaven:8064 and the LORD3068 sent5414 thunder6963 and hail,1259 and the fire784 ran along1980 upon the ground;776 and the LORD3068 rained4305 hail1259 upon5921 the land776 of Egypt.4714

23 И тогда Моисей поднял к небу свой дорожный посох, и Господь послал гром и молнию, и град стал падать на землю по всему Египту.

24 So there was1961 hail,1259 and fire784 mingled3947 with8432 the hail,1259 very3966 grievous,3515 such as834 there was1961 none3808 like it3644 in all3605 the land776 of Egypt4714 since4480 227 it became1961 a nation.1471

24 Град падал, а сквозь него сверкала молния. Это был самый сильный град в Египте со времён его основания.

25 And the hail1259 smote5221 throughout all3605 the land776 of Egypt4714 853 all3605 that834 was in the field,7704 both man4480 120 and beast;929 and the hail1259 smote5221 every3605 herb6212 of the field,7704 and broke7665 every3605 tree6086 of the field.7704

25 Град уничтожил всё в полях Египта: людей, скот и растения и поломал все деревья в полях.

26 Only7535 in the land776 of Goshen,1657 where834 8033 the children1121 of Israel3478 were, was1961 there no3808 hail.1259

26 Только в земле Гесем, там, где жил народ Израиля, не было града.

27 And Pharaoh6547 sent,7971 and called7121 for Moses4872 and Aaron,175 and said559 unto413 them, I have sinned2398 this time:6471 the LORD3068 is righteous,6662 and I589 and my people5971 are wicked.7563

27 Фараон послал за Моисеем и Аароном и сказал им: «На этот раз я согрешил. Господь праведен, а я и народ мой виновны.

28 Хватит с нас града и грома от Господа! Помолитесь Господу, чтобы остановить град, и я отпущу вас и не буду более удерживать здесь».

29 «Как только я выйду из города, — сказал Моисей фараону, — я подниму руки в молитве к Господу, и перестанет греметь гром, и град прекратится. И тогда ты узнаешь, что Господь — в этой земле.

30 But as for thee859 and thy servants,5650 I know3045 that3588 ye will not yet2962 fear3372 4480 6440 the LORD3068 God.430

30 Но я знаю, что ни ты, ни твои приближённые ещё не почитаете Бога и не боитесь Его».

31 And the flax6594 and the barley8184 was smitten:5221 for3588 the barley8184 was in the ear,24 and the flax6594 was bolled.1392

33 And Moses4872 went out3318 of853 the city5892 from4480 5973 Pharaoh,6547 and spread abroad6566 his hands3709 unto413 the LORD:3068 and the thunders6963 and hail1259 ceased,2308 and the rain4306 was not3808 poured5413 upon the earth.776

33 Моисей ушёл от фараона, вышел из города и простёр руки в молитве к Господу. Град и гром прекратились, а потом остановился и дождь.

34 And when Pharaoh6547 saw7200 that3588 the rain4306 and the hail1259 and the thunders6963 were ceased,2308 he sinned2398 yet more,3254 and hardened3513 his heart,3820 he1931 and his servants.5650

34 Увидев, что дождь, град и гром прекратились, фараон опять поступил неправедно: он и его приближённые снова заупрямились.

35 And the heart3820 of Pharaoh6547 was hardened,2388 neither3808 would he let853 the children1121 of Israel3478 go;7971 as834 the LORD3068 had spoken1696 by3027 Moses.4872

35 Фараон отказался отпустить народ Израиля. Всё случилось так, как Господь предсказал через Моисея.
