6 Then will I make5414853 this2088 house1004 like Shiloh,7887 and will make5414 this2063 city5892 a curse7045 to all3605 the nations1471 of the earth.776
7 So the priests3548 and the prophets5030 and all3605 the people5971 heard8085853 Jeremiah3414 speaking1696853 these428 words1697 in the house1004 of the LORD.3068
8 Now it came to pass,1961 when Jeremiah3414 had made an end3615 of speaking1696853 all3605 that834 the LORD3068 had commanded6680him to speak1696 unto413 all3605 the people,5971 that the priests3548 and the prophets5030 and all3605 the people5971 took8610 him, saying,559 Thou shalt surely die.41914191
9 Why4069 hast thou prophesied5012 in the name8034 of the LORD,3068 saying,559 This2088 house1004 shall be1961 like Shiloh,7887 and this2063 city5892 shall be desolate2717 without4480369 an inhabitant?3427 And all3605 the people5971 were gathered6950 against413 Jeremiah3414 in the house1004 of the LORD.3068
10 When the princes8269 of Judah3063 heard8085853 these428 things,1697 then they came up5927 from the king's4428 house44801004 unto the house1004 of the LORD,3068 and sat down3427 in the entry6607 of the new2319 gate8179 of the LORD's3068house.
11 Then spoke559 the priests3548 and the prophets5030 unto413 the princes8269 and to413 all3605 the people,5971 saying,559 This2088 man376is worthy4941 to die;4194 for3588 he hath prophesied5012 against413 this2063 city,5892 as834 ye have heard8085 with your ears.241
12 Then spoke559 Jeremiah3414 unto413 all3605 the princes8269 and to413 all3605 the people,5971 saying,559 The LORD3068 sent7971 me to prophesy5012 against413 this2088 house1004 and against413 this2063 city5892 all3605 the words1697 that834 ye have heard.8085
13 Therefore now6258 amend3190 your ways1870 and your doings,4611 and obey8085 the voice6963 of the LORD3068 your God;430 and the LORD3068 will repent5162 him of413 the evil7451 that834 he hath pronounced1696 against5921 you.
14 As for me,589 behold,2009 I am in your hand:3027 do6213 with me as seemeth5869 good2896 and meet3477 unto you.

17 Then rose up6965 certain376 of the elders44802205 of the land,776 and spoke559 to413 all3605 the assembly6951 of the people,5971 saying,559
18 Micah4320 the Morasthite4183 prophesied19615012 in the days3117 of Hezekiah2396 king4428 of Judah,3063 and spoke559 to413 all3605 the people5971 of Judah,3063 saying,559Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 Zion6726 shall be plowed2790like a field,7704 and Jerusalem3389 shall become1961 heaps,5856 and the mountain2022 of the house1004 as the high places1116 of a forest.3293
19 Did Hezekiah2396 king4428 of Judah3063 and all3605 Judah3063 put him at all to death?41914191 did he not3808 fear3372853 the LORD,3068 and besought24708536440 the LORD,3068 and the LORD3068 repented5162 him of413 the evil7451 which834 he had pronounced1696 against5921 them? 20 And there was1961 also1571 a man376 that prophesied5012 in the name8034 of the LORD,3068 Urijah223 the son1121 of Shemaiah8098 of Kirjath-jearim,44807157 who prophesied5012 against5921 this2063 city5892 and against5921 this2063 land776 according to all3605 the words1697 of Jeremiah: 3414
21 And when Jehoiakim3079 the king,4428 with all3605 his mighty men,1368 and all3605 the princes,8269 heard8085853 his words,1697 the king4428 sought1245 to put him to death:4191 but when Urijah223 heard8085 it, he was afraid,3372 and fled,1272 and went into935 Egypt;4714
22 And Jehoiakim3079 the king4428 sent7971 men376 into Egypt,4714namely,853 Elnathan494 the son1121 of Achbor,5907 and certain men376 with854 him into413 Egypt.4714
23 And they fetched forth3318853 Urijah223 out of Egypt,44804714 and brought935 him unto413 Jehoiakim3079 the king;4428 who slew5221 him with the sword,2719 and cast7993853 his dead body5038 into413 the graves6913 of the common1121 people.5971
24 Nevertheless389 the hand3027 of Ahikam296 the son1121 of Shaphan8227 was1961 with854 Jeremiah,3414 that they should not1115 give5414 him into the hand3027 of the people5971 to put him to death.4191

3 Может быть, они послушаются и подчинятся вести Моей. Может быть, они перестанут совершать зло, и тогда Я изменю Своё решение наказать их за всё то зло, что совершили они.
4 Ты скажешь так: „Я дал вам Мои заветы, вы должны подчиниться и следовать Моему учению.
5 Вы должны слушать то, что слуги Мои, пророки, вам говорят. Я посылал к вам пророков, но вы не слушали их.
6 Если вы Мне не подчинитесь, Я сделаю с храмом Моим в Иерусалиме то же, что со святым шатром в Силоме. Люди во всём мире будут вспоминать Иерусалим, когда будут просить несчастий другим городам”».
7 Священники, пророки и все люди слушали Иеремию, говорившего эти слова в храме Господнем.
8 Иеремия сказал всё, что повелел ему Господь. Затем священники, пророки и народ схватили Иеремию и сказали: «За то, что ты сказал, ты должен умереть.
9 Как мог ты проповедовать такое от имени Господа? Как ты осмелился сказать, что этот храм будет уничтожен, как и в Силоме? Как осмелился ты сказать, что Иерусалим станет необитаемой пустыней?» Все эти люди окружили Иеремию в храме Господнем.
10 Правители Иудеи услышали о случившемся. Они вышли из царского дворца и направились к храму Господнему. Там они заняли свои места возле Новых ворот, ведущих в храм.
11 И сказали священники и пророки властителям и всему народу: «Иеремия должен быть убит, так как он плохо говорил об Иерусалиме, вы все слышали сказанное им».
12 Иеремия ответил: «Господь меня послал сказать так о храме и об этом городе. Всё, что слышали вы, пришло от Господа.
13 Изменитесь: начните делать добро и подчинитесь Господу Богу вашему! Если вы так сделаете, Господь изменит Своё решение и не сделает ничего из того, что обещал.
14 Я же в ваших руках, поэтому делайте со мной то, что вам кажется справедливым.
15 Но если вы убьёте меня, то знайте, что вы будете виноваты в убийстве невинного человека и тогда сделаете этот город и всех жителей виновными. Господь меня действительно послал к вам, и весть, которую вы слышали, действительно от Господа».
16 Затем правители и все люди сказали священникам и пророкам: «Иеремия не должен быть убит. То, что он говорил, пришло от Господа, Бога нашего».
17 Тогда несколько старейшин встали и обратились к народу:
18 «Михей из города Морешеф был пророком во времена царствования Езекии. Михей сказал жителям Иудеи: „Господь Всемогущий сказал: „Сион будет уничтожен, он станет вспаханным полем, а Иерусалим — грудой камней, холм, где храм стоял, опустеет и лесами порастёт”.
19 Езекия, царь Иудеи, а также никто из народа Иудеи не убил Михея. Вы знаете, что Езекия почитал Господа и хотел угодить Ему. Господь сказал, что причинит множество бед Иудее, но Езекия молился Господу о милости, и Господь изменил Своё решение. Если мы нанесём вред Иеремии, тогда мы навлечём немало бед на наши головы, и сами будем виноваты в этом».
20 В прошлом был ещё один человек, который проповедовал именем Господа. Его звали Урия, сын Шемаии, из города Кириаф-Иарим. Урия тоже говорил против этого города и этой земли, как и Иеремия.
21 Царь Иоаким, его воины и правители Иудеи услышали Урию, и, рассердившись, царь хотел убить Урию, но Урия узнал об этом и бежал в Египет.
22 Но царь Иоаким послал Елнафана, сына Ахбора, с людьми в Египет.
23 Они привели Урию из Египта к царю Иоакиму, который приказал убить Урию мечом, а его тело бросить на кладбище бедняков.
24 Но Ахикам, сын Шафана, знатный человек, заступился за Иеремию и не дал священникам и пророкам убить его.

11 И сказали священники и пророки властителям и всему народу: «Иеремия должен быть убит, так как он плохо говорил об Иерусалиме, вы все слышали сказанное им».
12 Then spoke559 Jeremiah3414 unto413 all3605 the princes8269 and to413 all3605 the people,5971 saying,559 The LORD3068 sent7971 me to prophesy5012 against413 this2088 house1004 and against413 this2063 city5892 all3605 the words1697 that834 ye have heard.8085
12 Иеремия ответил: «Господь меня послал сказать так о храме и об этом городе. Всё, что слышали вы, пришло от Господа.
13 Therefore now6258 amend3190 your ways1870 and your doings,4611 and obey8085 the voice6963 of the LORD3068 your God;430 and the LORD3068 will repent5162 him of413 the evil7451 that834 he hath pronounced1696 against5921 you.
13 Изменитесь: начните делать добро и подчинитесь Господу Богу вашему! Если вы так сделаете, Господь изменит Своё решение и не сделает ничего из того, что обещал.

15 Но если вы убьёте меня, то знайте, что вы будете виноваты в убийстве невинного человека и тогда сделаете этот город и всех жителей виновными. Господь меня действительно послал к вам, и весть, которую вы слышали, действительно от Господа».
16 Then said559 the princes8269 and all3605 the people5971 unto413 the priests3548 and to413 the prophets;5030 This2088 man376is not369 worthy4941 to die:4194 for3588 he hath spoken1696 to413 us in the name8034 of the LORD3068 our God.430
16 Затем правители и все люди сказали священникам и пророкам: «Иеремия не должен быть убит. То, что он говорил, пришло от Господа, Бога нашего».

20 В прошлом был ещё один человек, который проповедовал именем Господа. Его звали Урия, сын Шемаии, из города Кириаф-Иарим. Урия тоже говорил против этого города и этой земли, как и Иеремия.
