2 And be1961 ready3559 in the morning,1242 and come up5927 in the morning1242 unto413 mount2022 Sinai,5514 and present thyself5324 there8033 to me in5921 the top7218 of the mount.2022

3 And no3808 man376 shall come up5927 with5973 thee, neither408 1571 let any man376 be seen7200 throughout all3605 the mount;2022 neither408 1571 let the flocks6629 nor herds1241 feed7462 before413 4136 that1931 mount.2022

4 And he hewed6458 two8147 tables3871 of stone68 like unto the first;7223 and Moses4872 rose up early7925 in the morning,1242 and went up5927 unto413 mount2022 Sinai,5514 as834 the LORD3068 had commanded6680 him, and took3947 in his hand3027 the two8147 tables3871 of stone.68

5 And the LORD3068 descended3381 in the cloud,6051 and stood3320 with5973 him there,8033 and proclaimed7121 the name8034 of the LORD.3068

8 And Moses4872 made haste,4116 and bowed his head6915 toward the earth,776 and worshiped.7812

9 And he said,559 If518 now4994 I have found4672 grace2580 in thy sight,5869 O Lord,136 let my Lord,136 I pray thee,4994 go1980 among7130 us; for3588 it1931 is a stiffnecked7186 6203 people;5971 and pardon5545 our iniquity5771 and our sin,2403 and take us for thine inheritance.5157

10 And he said,559 Behold,2009 I595 make3772 a covenant:1285 before5048 all3605 thy people5971 I will do6213 marvels,6381 such as834 have not3808 been done1254 in all3605 the earth,776 nor in any3605 nation:1471 and all3605 the people5971 among7130 which834 thou859 art shall see7200 853 the work4639 of the LORD:3068 for3588 it1931 is a terrible thing3372 that834 I589 will do6213 with5973 thee.

11 Observe8104 thou853 that which834 I595 command6680 thee this day:3117 behold,2009 I drive out1644 before4480 6440 thee853 the Amorite,567 and the Canaanite,3669 and the Hittite,2850 and the Perizzite,6522 and the Hivite,2340 and the Jebusite.2983

12 Take heed8104 to thyself, lest6435 thou make3772 a covenant1285 with the inhabitants3427 of the land776 whither834 5921 thou859 goest,935 lest6435 it be1961 for a snare4170 in the midst7130 of thee:

13 But3588 ye shall destroy5422 853 their altars,4196 break7665 their images,4676 and cut down3772 their groves: 842

14 For3588 thou shalt worship7812 no3808 other312 god:410 for3588 the LORD,3068 whose name8034 is Jealous,7067 is a jealous7067 God: 410

15 Lest6435 thou make3772 a covenant1285 with the inhabitants3427 of the land,776 and they go a whoring2181 after310 their gods,430 and do sacrifice2076 unto their gods,430 and one call7121 thee, and thou eat398 of his sacrifice;4480 2077

16 And thou take3947 of their daughters4480 1323 unto thy sons,1121 and their daughters1323 go a whoring2181 after310 their gods,430 and make853 thy sons1121 go a whoring2181 after310 their gods.430

17 Thou shalt make6213 thee no3808 molten4541 gods.430

21 Six8337 days3117 thou shalt work,5647 but on the seventh7637 day3117 thou shalt rest:7673 in earing time2758 and in harvest7105 thou shalt rest.7673

22 And thou shalt observe6213 the feast2282 of weeks,7620 of the firstfruits1061 of wheat2406 harvest,7105 and the feast2282 of ingathering614 at the year's8141 end.8622

23 Thrice7969 6471 in the year8141 shall all3605 your men children2138 appear7200 853 before6440 the Lord113 GOD,3068 the God430 of Israel.3478

24 For3588 I will cast out3423 the nations1471 before4480 6440 thee, and enlarge7337 853 thy borders:1366 neither3808 shall any man376 desire2530 853 thy land,776 when thou shalt go up5927 to appear7200 853 before6440 the LORD3068 thy God430 thrice7969 6471 in the year.8141

25 Thou shalt not3808 offer7819 the blood1818 of my sacrifice2077 with5921 leaven;2557 neither3808 shall the sacrifice2077 of the feast2282 of the passover6453 be left3885 unto the morning.1242

26 The first7225 of the firstfruits1061 of thy land127 thou shalt bring935 unto the house1004 of the LORD3068 thy God.430 Thou shalt not3808 seethe1310 a kid1423 in his mother's517 milk.2461

27 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Write3789 thou853 these428 words:1697 for3588 after5921 the tenor6310 of these428 words1697 I have made3772 a covenant1285 with854 thee and with854 Israel.3478

28 And he was1961 there8033 with5973 the LORD3068 forty705 days3117 and forty705 nights;3915 he did neither3808 eat398 bread,3899 nor3808 drink8354 water.4325 And he wrote3789 upon5921 the tables3871 853 the words1697 of the covenant,1285 the ten6235 commandments.1697

29 And it came to pass,1961 when Moses4872 came down3381 from mount4480 2022 Sinai5514 with the two8147 tables3871 of testimony5715 in Moses'4872 hand,3027 when he came down3381 from4480 the mount,2022 that Moses4872 knew3045 not3808 that3588 the skin5785 of his face6440 shone7160 while he talked1696 with854 him.

31 And Moses4872 called7121 unto413 them; and Aaron175 and all3605 the rulers5387 of the congregation5712 returned7725 unto413 him: and Moses4872 talked1696 with413 them.

2 І приготовся на рано. І вийдеш рано вра́нці на го́ру Сіна́й, і станеш Мені там на верхі́в'ї гори́.

3 А з тобою ніхто не вийде, і на всій горі нехай нікого не бу́де видно. І також дрібна худоба й худоба велика нехай не пасеться навпроти тієї гори“.

4 І витесав він дві кам'яні табли́ці, як перші. І встав Мойсей рано вранці, та й вийшов на го́ру Сіна́й, як Господь звелів був йому. І взяв він у руку свою дві табли́ці кам'яні́.

5 А Господь зійшов у хмарі, і став там із ним, та й покликав Ім'я́м Господа.

6 І перейшов Господь перед лицем його, та й викликнув: „Господь, Господь, — Бог милосердний, і милости́вий, довготерпели́вий, і многомилости́вий та правдивий,

7 що дотри́мує милість для тисяч, що вибачає провину й переступ та гріх, та певне не вважає чистим винуватого, бо карає провину батькі́в на ді́тях, і на дітях діте́й, і на третіх, і на четвертих поколіннях“.

8 І Мойсей поквапно вклонився до землі, і впав,

9 та й сказав: „Якщо я знайшов милість в очах Твоїх, Владико, то нехай же Владика йде серед нас, бо наро́д цей твердоши́їй. І Ти пробачиш нашу провину та наш гріх, і зробиш нас спа́дком Своїм“.

10 А Він відказав: „Ось Я складаю заповіта перед усім наро́дом твоїм. Я чинитиму чу́да, які не були́ тво́рені на всій землі і в жодного наро́ду. І побачить увесь народ, серед якого ти знаходишся, чин Господній, що Я чиню́ його з тобою, — який він страшни́й!

11 Виконуй те, що Я наказую тобі сьогодні. Ось Я виганяю перед тобою амореянина, і ханаанеянина, і хіттеянина, і періззеянина, і хіввеянина, і євусеянина.

12 Стережися, щоб не склав ти умо́ви з мешканцем тієї землі, що ти входиш на неї, — щоб він не став па́сткою серед тебе.

13 Бо ви їхні жертівники поруйнуєте, а їхні камінні стовпи́ для богів поторощите, а їхні дерева святі повиру́буєте.

14 Бо не будеш ти кла́нятись богові іншому, бо Господь — ревнивий ім'я Його, Бог ревнивий Він!

15 Щоб не склав ти умови з мешканцем кра́ю, як будуть вони любоді́яти вслід за богами своїми, і будуть богам своїм жертви прино́сити, то якщо він покличе тебе, то ти не будеш їсти із жертви його.

16 І не візьмеш із дочо́к його для синів своїх, бо будуть вони любоді́яти вслід за бога́ми своїми, і вчинять розпу́сниками синів твоїх вслід за богами своїми.

17 Литих богів не зробиш собі.

18 Будеш вико́нувати свято Опрі́сноків. Сім день будеш їсти опрі́сноки, що Я наказав був тобі на умо́влений час місяця аві́ва, бо в місяці авіві ти вийшов з Єгипту.

19 Усе, що відкриває утро́бу — то Моє, як і всяка твоя худоба, що є самець, відкриття утроби вола та вівці.

20 А відкриття утроби осла викупиш ягня́м. А якщо його не викупиш, то заб'єш його, злама́вши шию. Кожного перворі́дного з синів твоїх ви́купиш. І не будуть являтися перед обличчя Моє з порожньою рукою.

21 Шість день будеш працювати, а дня сьомого спочи́неш від праці; в о́рці й у жнива́ спочинеш від праці.

22 І свято тижнів зробиш собі, і первопло́ду жнив пшениці, і свято збору врожаю під кінець року.

23 Тричі в році вся чоловіча стать буде являтися перед лице Владики Господа, Бога Ізраїлевого.

24 Бо Я ви́жену людей перед лицем твоїм, і розширю границю твою, і ніхто не запрагне твоєї землі, коли ти ходитимеш являтися перед лице Господа, Бога твого, тричі в році.

25 Не будеш прино́сити на ква́шенім крови жертви твоєї, і не переночує до рана святко́ва жертва Пасхи.

26 Поча́ток первопло́дів твоєї землі принесе́ш у дім Господа, Бога твого. Не будеш варити ягняти в молоці його матері“.

27 І промовив Господь до Мойсея: „Напиши собі слова́, бо згідно з цими словами склав Я заповіта з тобою та з Ізраїлем“.

28 І був він там з Господом сорок день і сорок ночей, хліба не їв і води не пив. І написав на табли́цях слова Заповіту, — Десять Заповідей.

29 І сталося, коли схо́див Мойсей з гори Сіна́й, — а оби́дві табли́ці свідоцтва в Мойсеєвій руці при сході його з гори, — що Мойсей не знав, що лице його стало промені́ти, бо Бог говорив з ним.

30 І побачив Аарон та всі Ізраїлеві сини Мойсея, — аж ось лице його променіло, і вони боялися підійти до нього!

31 І кликнув до них Мойсей, і зверну́лися до нього Аарон та всі начальники в громаді. І Мойсей говорив до них.

32 А потім попідхо́дили всі Ізраїлеві сини, і він наказав їм усе, що Господь говорив з ним на горі Сіна́й.

33 І скінчи́в Мойсей говорити з ними, і дав на лице своє покрива́ло.

34 А коли Мойсей вхо́див перед Господнє лице на розмову з Ним, то здіймав покрива́ло аж до свого ви́ходу. І він вихо́див, і говорив до Ізраїлевих синів, що́ було наказано йому.

35 І бачили Ізраїлеві сини лице Мойсеєве, — що променіло лице Мойсеєве. І Мойсей знов накладав покривало на лице своє аж до відходу свого, щоб говорити з Ним.

15 Щоб не склав ти умови з мешканцем кра́ю, як будуть вони любоді́яти вслід за богами своїми, і будуть богам своїм жертви прино́сити, то якщо він покличе тебе, то ти не будеш їсти із жертви його.

16 І не візьмеш із дочо́к його для синів своїх, бо будуть вони любоді́яти вслід за бога́ми своїми, і вчинять розпу́сниками синів твоїх вслід за богами своїми.

25 Не будеш прино́сити на ква́шенім крови жертви твоєї, і не переночує до рана святко́ва жертва Пасхи.

26 Поча́ток первопло́дів твоєї землі принесе́ш у дім Господа, Бога твого. Не будеш варити ягняти в молоці його матері“.

27 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Write3789 thou853 these428 words:1697 for3588 after5921 the tenor6310 of these428 words1697 I have made3772 a covenant1285 with854 thee and with854 Israel.3478

27 І промовив Господь до Мойсея: „Напиши собі слова́, бо згідно з цими словами склав Я заповіта з тобою та з Ізраїлем“.

28 And he was1961 there8033 with5973 the LORD3068 forty705 days3117 and forty705 nights;3915 he did neither3808 eat398 bread,3899 nor3808 drink8354 water.4325 And he wrote3789 upon5921 the tables3871 853 the words1697 of the covenant,1285 the ten6235 commandments.1697

28 І був він там з Господом сорок день і сорок ночей, хліба не їв і води не пив. І написав на табли́цях слова Заповіту, — Десять Заповідей.

29 And it came to pass,1961 when Moses4872 came down3381 from mount4480 2022 Sinai5514 with the two8147 tables3871 of testimony5715 in Moses'4872 hand,3027 when he came down3381 from4480 the mount,2022 that Moses4872 knew3045 not3808 that3588 the skin5785 of his face6440 shone7160 while he talked1696 with854 him.

29 І сталося, коли схо́див Мойсей з гори Сіна́й, — а оби́дві табли́ці свідоцтва в Мойсеєвій руці при сході його з гори, — що Мойсей не знав, що лице його стало промені́ти, бо Бог говорив з ним.

30 And when Aaron175 and all3605 the children1121 of Israel3478 saw7200 853 Moses,4872 behold,2009 the skin5785 of his face6440 shone;7160 and they were afraid3372 to come nigh4480 5066 413 him.

30 І побачив Аарон та всі Ізраїлеві сини Мойсея, — аж ось лице його променіло, і вони боялися підійти до нього!

31 And Moses4872 called7121 unto413 them; and Aaron175 and all3605 the rulers5387 of the congregation5712 returned7725 unto413 him: and Moses4872 talked1696 with413 them.

31 І кликнув до них Мойсей, і зверну́лися до нього Аарон та всі начальники в громаді. І Мойсей говорив до них.

32 And afterward310 3651 all3605 the children1121 of Israel3478 came nigh:5066 and he gave them in commandment6680 853 all3605 that834 the LORD3068 had spoken1696 with854 him in mount2022 Sinai.5514

32 А потім попідхо́дили всі Ізраїлеві сини, і він наказав їм усе, що Господь говорив з ним на горі Сіна́й.

33 And till Moses4872 had done3615 speaking4480 1696 with854 them, he put5414 a veil4533 on5921 his face.6440

33 І скінчи́в Мойсей говорити з ними, і дав на лице своє покрива́ло.

34 But when Moses4872 went in935 before6440 the LORD3068 to speak1696 with854 him, he took the veil off,5493 853 4533 until5704 he came out.3318 And he came out,3318 and spoke1696 unto413 the children1121 of Israel3478 853 that which834 he was commanded.6680

34 А коли Мойсей вхо́див перед Господнє лице на розмову з Ним, то здіймав покрива́ло аж до свого ви́ходу. І він вихо́див, і говорив до Ізраїлевих синів, що́ було наказано йому.

35 And the children1121 of Israel3478 saw7200 853 the face6440 of Moses,4872 that3588 the skin5785 of Moses'4872 face6440 shone:7160 and Moses4872 put7725 853 the veil4533 upon5921 his face6440 again, until5704 he went in935 to speak1696 with854 him.

35 І бачили Ізраїлеві сини лице Мойсеєве, — що променіло лице Мойсеєве. І Мойсей знов накладав покривало на лице своє аж до відходу свого, щоб говорити з Ним.
