Chapter 43

1 AFTERWARD he brought me to the gate that looks toward the east.

2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the direction of the east; and his voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with his glory.

3 And the vision I saw was like the vision which I had seen when I came to announce the destruction of the city, and like the vision which I had seen by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.

4 And the glory of the LORD came into the temple through the gate that looks toward the east.

5 And the spirit took me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the LORD filled the temple.

6 And I heard someone speaking to me out of the temple; and the man was standing by me.

7 And he said to me, Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet, where I dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever; and the house of Israel shall be no more defiled, and my holy name shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they nor their kings, by their whoredom nor with the corpses of their kings and with their idols.

8 For they used to make their gates beside my gates, and their door posts beside my doorposts, and there was only a wall between me and them; they have even defiled my holy name by the iniquities which they have committed; therefore I have consumed them in my anger.

9 Now let them put away their whoredom, and the corpses of their kings from my presence, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

10 But you, Son of man, show to the house of Israel this temple, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities which they transgressed against me; and let them study the pattern thereof.

11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, show them the form of the house, and its fashion and its entrances and its exits and all its forms and all its laws and ordinances, and draw the plans in their sight, that they may keep the whole design thereof, and all its form, and do them.

12 This is the vision of the house upon the top of the mountain; and all its borders round about are most holy.

13 And these are the measurements of the altar by cubits (the cubit is a cubit and a hand breadth): even the base shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and its border to its edges round about shall be a span, and likewise on its sides.

14 And from the bottom on the ground to the lower seat shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lower seat to the higher seat shall be four cubits, and the breadth, one cubit.

15 So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward there shall be four horns.

16 And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square on its four sides.

17 And the seat shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in its four squares: and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the base of it shall be a cubit round about; and its steps shall look toward the east.

18 And he said to me, Son of man, thus says the LORD God: These are the ordinances of the altar on the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings upon it and to sprinkle blood upon it.

19 And you shall give to the priests and the Levites of the descendants of Zadok, who draw near to me to minister to me, says the LORD God, a young bullock for a sin offering.

20 And you shall take some of its blood, and sprinkle it on the four horns of the altar and on the four corners of the seat, and upon the border round about; thus shall you sprinkle blood on it, and it shall be cleansed.

21 You shall take the bullock also of the sin offering, and they shall take it to the side of the temple and burn it outside of the sanctuary.

22 And on the second day you shall offer a he-goat without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed it with the bullock.

23 When you have finished cleansing it, you shall offer a young bullock without blemish and a ram out of the flock without blemish.

24 And you shall offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall put salt on them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering to the LORD,

25 For seven days they shall offer daily a he-goat for the sin offering; they shall also offer a young bullock and a ram out of the flock without blemish

26 For seven days they shall make offerings and shall cleanse the altar: and they shall consecrate themselves.

27 And when these days are expired, that is from the seventh day forward, then the priests shall make offerings upon the altar, both their burnt offerings and their peace offerings; and I will be pleased with them, says the LORD God.

2 И я увидел, что с востока приближается Слава ГОСПОДНЯ, и был слышен шум, похожий на гул бушующих вод, и земля осветилась от Его Славы.

3 Это видение было похоже на то, которое я видел, когда Господь приходил уничтожить город; и оно было подобно тому, которое явилось мне у потока Кевар. И я пал ниц.

4 И когда Слава ГОСПОДНЯ входила в Храм через ворота, обращенные на восток,

5 Дух поднял меня и перенес во внутренний двор. И я увидел, как Слава ГОСПОДНЯ наполнила Храм.

6 Провожатый в это время стоял рядом со мной. Я услышал, как Некто обратился ко мне из Храма.

7 Он сказал мне: «Смертный! Вот место для престола Моего, вот место для Моих ног! Здесь Я буду пребывать вовеки, среди сынов Израилевых, и впредь да не бесчестит род Израилев своим распутством имени Моего святого, — ни сами они, ни их цари, — не бесчестит усыпальницами для трупов своих царей!

8 Свой порог они ставили подле Моего порога, столбы для своих ворот — подле Моих столбов, и лишь стена была между Мной и ними. Бесчестили они Мое святое имя всеми мерзостями, которые творили, и потому Я истребил их во гневе.

9 Ныне же да удалят они от Меня свое распутство и трупы своих царей, и тогда Я буду вовек пребывать среди них.

10 Опиши, смертный, роду Израилеву этот Храм, чтобы они устыдились своих беззаконий и чтобы постигли устройство Храма.

11 Если устыдятся они всего, что делали, объясни им, как выглядит Храм, его расположение, входы и выходы, весь его внешний вид, поведай им все связанные с ним установления, устроение Храма и все указания о нем. Запиши всё это у них на глазах, чтобы они помнили его устроение и установления и следовали им.

12 Вот указание о Храме: вершина горы и всё, что вокруг, — это великая святыня! Это указание о Храме».

13 Вот размеры жертвенника в больших локтях (каждый локоть длиннее обычного на ладонь): внизу желоб в локоть глубиной и в локоть шириной, а вокруг него обрамление шириной в пядь. А высота у жертвенника такая:

14 от дна желоба два локтя до выступа нижней плиты и еще четыре локтя от выступа нижней плиты до выступа верхней плиты, и обе плиты, как нижняя, так и верхняя, выступают на локоть, одна уже другой.

15 На верху жертвенника очаг высотой в четыре локтя, и из него выступают вверх четыре рога.

16 Очаг жертвенника квадратный: с любой из четырех сторон двенадцать локтей в длину и двенадцать — в ширину.

17 Верхняя плита квадратная с любой из четырех сторон: четырнадцать локтей в длину и четырнадцать — в ширину; ее опоясывает обрамление шириной в пол-локтя и желоб шириной в локоть. Ступени его обращены к востоку.

18 Он сказал мне: «Смертный, так говорит Владыка ГОСПОДЬ: „Вот установления, по которым священники должны будут возносить жертвы на жертвеннике, когда его построят, и окроплять его кровью.

19 Священникам и левитам из потомков Цадока, которые будут предстоять предо Мной, чтобы служить Мне, — это слово Владыки ГОСПОДА, — дай бычка из стада, в жертву за грех.

20 Возьми его крови и окропи ею четыре рога жертвенника, четыре угла основания и обрамление вокруг — так ты очистишь его от греха и совершишь обряд, восстанавливающий единение народа с Богом.

21 А самого бычка, принесенного в жертву за грех, сожги в отведенном для этого месте за пределами Святилища.

22 На другой день принеси в жертву за грех козла без какого-либо изъяна и соверши очищение жертвенника точно так же, как и при жертвоприношении бычка.

23 Когда закончишь обряд очищения, приведи из стада еще одного бычка и барана без изъянов.

24 Принеси их ГОСПОДУ, и пусть священники посыплют их солью и принесут ГОСПОДУ в жертву всесожжения.

25 Семь дней пусть ежедневно приносят в жертву за грех закланного козла, и отдельно — бычка и барана из стада, без изъянов.

26 Семь дней они должны совершать обряд, восстанавливающий единение с Богом, и должны очищать жертвенник — так он будет очищен и освящен.

27 Когда закончится этот срок, начиная с восьмого дня, священники смогут приносить на этом жертвеннике ваши жертвы всесожжения и ваши благодарственные жертвы, и Я приму вас“», — это слово Владыки ГОСПОДА.

2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the direction of the east; and his voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with his glory.

2 И я увидел, что с востока приближается Слава ГОСПОДНЯ, и был слышен шум, похожий на гул бушующих вод, и земля осветилась от Его Славы.

3 And the vision I saw was like the vision which I had seen when I came to announce the destruction of the city, and like the vision which I had seen by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.

3 Это видение было похоже на то, которое я видел, когда Господь приходил уничтожить город; и оно было подобно тому, которое явилось мне у потока Кевар. И я пал ниц.

4 And the glory of the LORD came into the temple through the gate that looks toward the east.

4 И когда Слава ГОСПОДНЯ входила в Храм через ворота, обращенные на восток,

5 And the spirit took me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the LORD filled the temple.

5 Дух поднял меня и перенес во внутренний двор. И я увидел, как Слава ГОСПОДНЯ наполнила Храм.

6 And I heard someone speaking to me out of the temple; and the man was standing by me.

6 Провожатый в это время стоял рядом со мной. Я услышал, как Некто обратился ко мне из Храма.

7 And he said to me, Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet, where I dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever; and the house of Israel shall be no more defiled, and my holy name shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they nor their kings, by their whoredom nor with the corpses of their kings and with their idols.

7 Он сказал мне: «Смертный! Вот место для престола Моего, вот место для Моих ног! Здесь Я буду пребывать вовеки, среди сынов Израилевых, и впредь да не бесчестит род Израилев своим распутством имени Моего святого, — ни сами они, ни их цари, — не бесчестит усыпальницами для трупов своих царей!

8 For they used to make their gates beside my gates, and their door posts beside my doorposts, and there was only a wall between me and them; they have even defiled my holy name by the iniquities which they have committed; therefore I have consumed them in my anger.

8 Свой порог они ставили подле Моего порога, столбы для своих ворот — подле Моих столбов, и лишь стена была между Мной и ними. Бесчестили они Мое святое имя всеми мерзостями, которые творили, и потому Я истребил их во гневе.

9 Now let them put away their whoredom, and the corpses of their kings from my presence, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

9 Ныне же да удалят они от Меня свое распутство и трупы своих царей, и тогда Я буду вовек пребывать среди них.

10 But you, Son of man, show to the house of Israel this temple, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities which they transgressed against me; and let them study the pattern thereof.

10 Опиши, смертный, роду Израилеву этот Храм, чтобы они устыдились своих беззаконий и чтобы постигли устройство Храма.

11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, show them the form of the house, and its fashion and its entrances and its exits and all its forms and all its laws and ordinances, and draw the plans in their sight, that they may keep the whole design thereof, and all its form, and do them.

11 Если устыдятся они всего, что делали, объясни им, как выглядит Храм, его расположение, входы и выходы, весь его внешний вид, поведай им все связанные с ним установления, устроение Храма и все указания о нем. Запиши всё это у них на глазах, чтобы они помнили его устроение и установления и следовали им.

12 This is the vision of the house upon the top of the mountain; and all its borders round about are most holy.

12 Вот указание о Храме: вершина горы и всё, что вокруг, — это великая святыня! Это указание о Храме».

13 Вот размеры жертвенника в больших локтях (каждый локоть длиннее обычного на ладонь): внизу желоб в локоть глубиной и в локоть шириной, а вокруг него обрамление шириной в пядь. А высота у жертвенника такая:

14 And from the bottom on the ground to the lower seat shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lower seat to the higher seat shall be four cubits, and the breadth, one cubit.

14 от дна желоба два локтя до выступа нижней плиты и еще четыре локтя от выступа нижней плиты до выступа верхней плиты, и обе плиты, как нижняя, так и верхняя, выступают на локоть, одна уже другой.

15 So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward there shall be four horns.

15 На верху жертвенника очаг высотой в четыре локтя, и из него выступают вверх четыре рога.

16 And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square on its four sides.

16 Очаг жертвенника квадратный: с любой из четырех сторон двенадцать локтей в длину и двенадцать — в ширину.

17 And the seat shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in its four squares: and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the base of it shall be a cubit round about; and its steps shall look toward the east.

17 Верхняя плита квадратная с любой из четырех сторон: четырнадцать локтей в длину и четырнадцать — в ширину; ее опоясывает обрамление шириной в пол-локтя и желоб шириной в локоть. Ступени его обращены к востоку.

18 And he said to me, Son of man, thus says the LORD God: These are the ordinances of the altar on the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings upon it and to sprinkle blood upon it.

18 Он сказал мне: «Смертный, так говорит Владыка ГОСПОДЬ: „Вот установления, по которым священники должны будут возносить жертвы на жертвеннике, когда его построят, и окроплять его кровью.

20 Возьми его крови и окропи ею четыре рога жертвенника, четыре угла основания и обрамление вокруг — так ты очистишь его от греха и совершишь обряд, восстанавливающий единение народа с Богом.

21 You shall take the bullock also of the sin offering, and they shall take it to the side of the temple and burn it outside of the sanctuary.

21 А самого бычка, принесенного в жертву за грех, сожги в отведенном для этого месте за пределами Святилища.

22 And on the second day you shall offer a he-goat without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed it with the bullock.

22 На другой день принеси в жертву за грех козла без какого-либо изъяна и соверши очищение жертвенника точно так же, как и при жертвоприношении бычка.

23 When you have finished cleansing it, you shall offer a young bullock without blemish and a ram out of the flock without blemish.

23 Когда закончишь обряд очищения, приведи из стада еще одного бычка и барана без изъянов.

24 And you shall offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall put salt on them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering to the LORD,

24 Принеси их ГОСПОДУ, и пусть священники посыплют их солью и принесут ГОСПОДУ в жертву всесожжения.

25 For seven days they shall offer daily a he-goat for the sin offering; they shall also offer a young bullock and a ram out of the flock without blemish

25 Семь дней пусть ежедневно приносят в жертву за грех закланного козла, и отдельно — бычка и барана из стада, без изъянов.

26 For seven days they shall make offerings and shall cleanse the altar: and they shall consecrate themselves.

26 Семь дней они должны совершать обряд, восстанавливающий единение с Богом, и должны очищать жертвенник — так он будет очищен и освящен.

27 And when these days are expired, that is from the seventh day forward, then the priests shall make offerings upon the altar, both their burnt offerings and their peace offerings; and I will be pleased with them, says the LORD God.

27 Когда закончится этот срок, начиная с восьмого дня, священники смогут приносить на этом жертвеннике ваши жертвы всесожжения и ваши благодарственные жертвы, и Я приму вас“», — это слово Владыки ГОСПОДА.
