Книга Иисуса Навина

Глава 2

1 Из Шиттима Иисус Навин тайно отправил лазутчиками в Ханаан двух человек, дав им такой наказ: «Пойдите, разузнайте всё об этой земле, начав с Иерихона». Они пошли и в Иерихоне остановились на ночлег в доме продажной женщины по имени Рахав.

2 Но царю Иерихона доложили: «Этой ночью сюда пришли какие-то израильтяне: они хотят разузнать всё о нашей стране».

3 Тогда царь Иерихона послал к Рахав своих слуг с приказом: «Выдай людей, которые пришли к тебе и остановились в твоем доме, — они хотят разузнать всё о нашей стране!»

4 Но женщина успела спрятать обоих пришельцев и потому сказала в ответ: «Верно, ко мне заходили какие-то мужчины, но я не знала, откуда они.

5 Когда в сумерках стали закрывать городские ворота, эти люди ушли, и я не знаю, куда. Поспешите за ними — наверняка вы догоните их!»

6 (А сама отвела пришельцев на кровлю и спрятала там под кучами разложенных стеблей льна.)

7 Слуги царя пустились на розыски лазутчиков по иорданской дороге и дошли до самого брода. Как только посланные царем вышли из города, ворота сразу же затворили.

8 Прежде чем гости Рахав устроились на ночлег, она поднялась к ним на кровлю

9 и сказала: «Я знаю, что ГОСПОДЬ отдал вам эту землю. Мы трепещем перед вами, да и все жители Ханаана боятся вас.

10 Мы ведь слышали, что, когда вы покидали Египет, ГОСПОДЬ осушил на вашем пути Красное море. Знаем мы и о том, как вы поступили с двумя аморейскими царями, что правили в землях за Иорданом, — с Сихоном и Огом, которых вы уничтожили.

11 Услышали мы обо всём этом и пали духом. Никто не осмеливается противостоять вам, ведь ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, на небе, вверху обитает, и на земле, внизу.

12 Поклянитесь мне теперь ГОСПОДОМ, что проявите к моим родственникам такое же милосердие, какое я к вам проявила. Уверьте меня,

13 что вы пощадите моих родителей и моих братьев и сестер с их семьями и спасете всех нас от смерти!»

14 «Мы ручаемся тебе своей жизнью, — заверили ее пришельцы, — если ты не выдашь дело наше! Когда же ГОСПОДЬ отдаст нам эту землю, мы окажем тебе милость и поступим с тобой честно».

15 Тогда Рахав помогла им спуститься из своего окна по веревке (ее дом был частью городской стены, и в этой стене она и устроила себе жилище)

16 и сказала им: «Идите в горы, чтобы не столкнуться с преследователями, и скрывайтесь там три дня, пока они не вернутся в город, а потом идите своей дорогой».

17 Лазутчики предупредили Рахав, что будут свободны от клятвы, которую она с них взяла, если она не выполнит их условий:

18 «Когда мы придем в эту землю, — сказали они, — привяжи вот этот алый шнур к окну, через которое ты нас спустила. И собери в своем доме отца, мать, братьев и всех своих родственников.

19 Но если кто-то из них выйдет за порог — он сам будет в ответе за свою жизнь, а нашей вины в его смерти не будет. Если же поднимут руку на кого-либо из тех, кто будет в твоем доме, то вина падет на нас.

20 И помни, если выдашь наше дело, мы будем свободны от клятвы, какую ты с нас взяла».

21 «Пусть будет так, как вы сказали!» — согласилась Рахав, расставаясь с ними. А когда они покинули Иерихон, она привязала к окну алый шнур.

22 Лазутчики же отправились в горы и оставались там три дня, пока преследователи, безуспешно искавшие их повсюду, не вернулись в город.

23 Лишь тогда они спустились с гор и переправились через реку. Возвратившись к Иисусу Навину, они рассказали ему обо всем, что произошло с ними.

24 «Воистину ГОСПОДЬ отдал нам всю эту землю! — сказали они. — И жители ее в страхе перед нами».

Joshua

Chapter 2

1 And Joshua3091 the son1121 of Nun5126 sent7971 out of Shittim7851 two8147 men582 to spy7270 secretly,2791 saying,559 Go3212 view7200 the land,776 even Jericho.3405 And they went,3212 and came935 into an harlot's2181 house,1004 named8034 Rahab,7343 and lodged7901 there.8033

2 And it was told559 the king4428 of Jericho,3405 saying,559 Behold,2009 there came935 men582 in here to night3915 of the children1121 of Israel3478 to search2658 out the country.776

3 And the king4428 of Jericho3405 sent7971 to Rahab,7343 saying,559 Bring3318 forth3318 the men582 that are come935 to you, which834 are entered935 into your house:1004 for they be come935 to search2658 out all3605 the country.776

4 And the woman802 took3947 the two8147 men,582 and hid6845 them, and said559 thus,3651 There came935 men582 to me, but I knew3045 not from where370 they were:

5 And it came1961 to pass about the time of shutting5462 of the gate,8179 when it was dark,2822 that the men582 went3318 out: where575 the men582 went1980 I know3045 not: pursue7291 after310 them quickly;4118 for you shall overtake5381 them.

6 But she had brought5927 them up to the roof1406 of the house, and hid2934 them with the stalks6086 of flax,6593 which she had laid in order6186 on the roof.1406

7 And the men582 pursued7291 after310 them the way1870 to Jordan3383 to the fords:4569 and as soon834 as they which834 pursued7291 after310 them were gone3318 out, they shut5462 the gate.8179

8 And before2962 they were laid7901 down,7901 she came5927 up to them on the roof;1406

9 And she said559 to the men,582 I know3045 that the LORD3068 has given5414 you the land,776 and that your terror367 is fallen5307 on us, and that all3605 the inhabitants3427 of the land776 faint4127 because6440 of you.

10 For we have heard8085 how834 the LORD3068 dried3001 up the water4325 of the Red5488 sea3220 for you, when you came3318 out of Egypt;4714 and what834 you did6213 to the two8147 kings4428 of the Amorites,567 that were on the other5676 side5676 Jordan,3383 Sihon5511 and Og,5747 whom834 853 you utterly destroyed.2763

11 And as soon as we had heard8085 these things, our hearts3824 did melt,4549 neither3808 did there remain6965 any more5750 courage7307 in any man,376 because6440 of you: for the LORD3068 your God,430 he is God430 in heaven8064 above,4605 and in earth776 beneath.8478

12 Now6258 therefore, I pray4994 you, swear7650 to me by the LORD,3068 since3588 I have showed6213 you kindness,2617 that you will also1571 show6213 kindness2617 to my father's1 house,1004 and give5414 me a true571 token:226

13 And that you will save2421 alive2421 my father,1 and my mother,517 and my brothers,251 and my sisters,269 and all3605 that they have, and deliver5337 our lives5315 from death.4194

14 And the men582 answered559 her, Our life5315 for yours, if518 you utter5046 not this2088 our business.1697 And it shall be, when the LORD3068 has given5414 us the land,776 that we will deal6213 kindly2617 and truly571 with you.

15 Then she let3381 them down3381 by a cord2256 through1157 the window:2474 for her house1004 was on the town7023 wall,2346 and she dwelled3427 on the wall.2346

16 And she said559 to them, Get3212 you to the mountain,2022 lest6435 the pursuers7291 meet6293 you; and hide2247 yourselves there8033 three7969 days,3117 until5704 the pursuers7291 be returned:7725 and afterward310 may you go3212 your way.1870

17 And the men582 said559 to her, We will be blameless5355 of this2088 your oath7621 which834 you have made us swear.7650

18 Behold,2009 when we come935 into the land,776 you shall bind7194 this2088 line8615 of scarlet8144 thread2339 in the window2474 which834 you did let3381 us down3381 by: and you shall bring622 your father,1 and your mother,517 and your brothers,251 and all3605 your father's1 household,1004 home1004 to you.

19 And it shall be, that whoever3605 834 shall go3318 out of the doors1817 of your house1004 into the street,2351 his blood1818 shall be on his head,7218 and we will be guiltless:5355 and whoever3605 834 shall be with you in the house,1004 his blood1818 shall be on our head,7218 if518 any hand3027 be on him.

20 And if518 you utter5046 this2088 our business,1697 then we will be quit5355 of your oath7621 which834 you have made us to swear.7650

21 And she said,559 According to your words,1697 so3651 be it. And she sent7971 them away, and they departed:3212 and she bound7194 the scarlet8144 line8615 in the window.2474

22 And they went,3212 and came935 to the mountain,2022 and stayed3427 there8033 three7969 days,3117 until5704 the pursuers7291 were returned:7725 and the pursuers7291 sought1245 them throughout all3605 the way,1870 but found4672 them not.

23 So the two8147 men582 returned,7725 and descended3381 from the mountain,2022 and passed5674 over,5674 and came935 to Joshua3091 the son1121 of Nun,5126 and told5608 him all3605 things that befell4672 them:

24 And they said559 to Joshua,3091 Truly3588 the LORD3068 has delivered5414 into our hands3027 all3605 the land;776 for even1571 all3605 the inhabitants3427 of the country776 do faint4127 because6440 of us.

2 Но царю Иерихона доложили: «Этой ночью сюда пришли какие-то израильтяне: они хотят разузнать всё о нашей стране».

2 And it was told559 the king4428 of Jericho,3405 saying,559 Behold,2009 there came935 men582 in here to night3915 of the children1121 of Israel3478 to search2658 out the country.776

3 Тогда царь Иерихона послал к Рахав своих слуг с приказом: «Выдай людей, которые пришли к тебе и остановились в твоем доме, — они хотят разузнать всё о нашей стране!»

3 And the king4428 of Jericho3405 sent7971 to Rahab,7343 saying,559 Bring3318 forth3318 the men582 that are come935 to you, which834 are entered935 into your house:1004 for they be come935 to search2658 out all3605 the country.776

4 Но женщина успела спрятать обоих пришельцев и потому сказала в ответ: «Верно, ко мне заходили какие-то мужчины, но я не знала, откуда они.

4 And the woman802 took3947 the two8147 men,582 and hid6845 them, and said559 thus,3651 There came935 men582 to me, but I knew3045 not from where370 they were:

7 Слуги царя пустились на розыски лазутчиков по иорданской дороге и дошли до самого брода. Как только посланные царем вышли из города, ворота сразу же затворили.

8 Прежде чем гости Рахав устроились на ночлег, она поднялась к ним на кровлю

8 And before2962 they were laid7901 down,7901 she came5927 up to them on the roof;1406

9 и сказала: «Я знаю, что ГОСПОДЬ отдал вам эту землю. Мы трепещем перед вами, да и все жители Ханаана боятся вас.

9 And she said559 to the men,582 I know3045 that the LORD3068 has given5414 you the land,776 and that your terror367 is fallen5307 on us, and that all3605 the inhabitants3427 of the land776 faint4127 because6440 of you.

10 Мы ведь слышали, что, когда вы покидали Египет, ГОСПОДЬ осушил на вашем пути Красное море. Знаем мы и о том, как вы поступили с двумя аморейскими царями, что правили в землях за Иорданом, — с Сихоном и Огом, которых вы уничтожили.

10 For we have heard8085 how834 the LORD3068 dried3001 up the water4325 of the Red5488 sea3220 for you, when you came3318 out of Egypt;4714 and what834 you did6213 to the two8147 kings4428 of the Amorites,567 that were on the other5676 side5676 Jordan,3383 Sihon5511 and Og,5747 whom834 853 you utterly destroyed.2763

11 Услышали мы обо всём этом и пали духом. Никто не осмеливается противостоять вам, ведь ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, на небе, вверху обитает, и на земле, внизу.

12 Поклянитесь мне теперь ГОСПОДОМ, что проявите к моим родственникам такое же милосердие, какое я к вам проявила. Уверьте меня,

12 Now6258 therefore, I pray4994 you, swear7650 to me by the LORD,3068 since3588 I have showed6213 you kindness,2617 that you will also1571 show6213 kindness2617 to my father's1 house,1004 and give5414 me a true571 token:226

13 что вы пощадите моих родителей и моих братьев и сестер с их семьями и спасете всех нас от смерти!»

19 Но если кто-то из них выйдет за порог — он сам будет в ответе за свою жизнь, а нашей вины в его смерти не будет. Если же поднимут руку на кого-либо из тех, кто будет в твоем доме, то вина падет на нас.

19 And it shall be, that whoever3605 834 shall go3318 out of the doors1817 of your house1004 into the street,2351 his blood1818 shall be on his head,7218 and we will be guiltless:5355 and whoever3605 834 shall be with you in the house,1004 his blood1818 shall be on our head,7218 if518 any hand3027 be on him.

20 И помни, если выдашь наше дело, мы будем свободны от клятвы, какую ты с нас взяла».

20 And if518 you utter5046 this2088 our business,1697 then we will be quit5355 of your oath7621 which834 you have made us to swear.7650

23 Лишь тогда они спустились с гор и переправились через реку. Возвратившись к Иисусу Навину, они рассказали ему обо всем, что произошло с ними.

23 So the two8147 men582 returned,7725 and descended3381 from the mountain,2022 and passed5674 over,5674 and came935 to Joshua3091 the son1121 of Nun,5126 and told5608 him all3605 things that befell4672 them:

24 «Воистину ГОСПОДЬ отдал нам всю эту землю! — сказали они. — И жители ее в страхе перед нами».
