Глава 36

1 ИСАВ (ИЗВЕСТНЫЙ ЕЩЕ И КАК ЭДОМ) И ЕГО ПОТОМКИ.

2 Исав взял себе в жены ханаанеянок: Аду, дочь Элона-хетта, Охоливаму, дочь Аны, внучку хиввея Цивона,

3 а также Басмат, дочь Измаила, сестру Невайота.

4 Ада родила Исаву Элифаза, Басмат — Реуэля,

5 Охоливама родила Еуша, Ялама и Корея. Это сыновья Исава, родившиеся в Ханаане.

6 Исав взял своих жен, сыновей, дочерей и всех домочадцев своих, весь свой скот — все стада и всё имущество, какое приобрел он в Ханаане, и ушел от брата своего Иакова в другую страну.

7 Добра у них было так много, что тесно им стало жить бок о бок: земли, на которой они поселились, не хватало им из-за множества скота.

8 Так Исав (известный также как Эдом), расставшись с Иаковом, жил в нагорной стране Сеир.

9 И еще О ПОТОМКАХ ИСАВА, отца эдомитян, живших в нагорной стране Сеир.

10 Имена сыновей Исава: Элифаз, сын Исава от Ады, и Реуэль, сын Исава от Басмат.

11 Сыновья Элифаза: Теман, Омар, Цефо, Гатам и Кеназ.

12 И от Тимны, наложницы Элифаза, родился сын Амалек. Это потомки Ады, жены Исава.

13 Сыновья Реуэля: Нахат и Зерах, Шамма и Мизза. Это потомки Басмат, жены Исава.

14 Были у Исава сыновья и от его жены Охоливамы, дочери Аны, внучки Цивона. Она родила Исаву Еуша, Ялама и Корея.

15 Вот вожди тех родов, что ведут свое происхождение от Исава: сыновья Элифаза, первенца Исавова, вожди рода своего: Теман, Омар, Цефо, Кеназ,

16 Корей, Гатам, Амалек. Это вожди рода Элифазова, жившего в земле Эдом, внуки Ады.

17 Сыновья Реуэля, сына Исавова, вожди рода своего: Нахат, Зерах, Шамма, Мизза. Это вожди рода Реуэлева, жившего в земле Эдом, внуки Басмат, жены Исавовой.

18 Сыновья Охоливамы, жены Исава, вожди рода своего: Еуш, Ялам, Корей. Это родоначальники потомства Исава и его жены Охоливамы, дочери Аны.

19 Это всё потомки Исава (он же Эдом) и это вожди в его народе.

20 А коренными жителями той страны были сыновья Сеира-хорея: Лотан, Шоваль, Цивон и Ана,

21 Дишон, Эцер и Дишан. Это вожди племен хорейских, потомки Сеира в земле Эдом.

22 Сыновья Лотана: Хори и Хемам. Сестрой Лотана была Тимна.

23 Сыновья Шоваля: Альван, Манахат, Эваль, Шефо и Онам.

24 Сыновья Цивона: Айя и Ана. (Это тот самый Ана, который нашел горячие источники в пустыне, когда пас ослов отца своего Цивона.)

25 Дети Аны: сын Дишон и дочь Охоливама.

26 Сыновья Дишона: Хемдан, Эшбан, Итран и Керан.

27 Сыновья Эцера: Бильхан, Зааван и Акан.

28 Сыновья Дишана: Уц и Аран.

29 Итак, вождями хорейских родов были: Лотан, Шоваль, Цивон, Ана,

30 Дишон, Эцер и Дишан. И это перечень родов хореев в земле Сеир.

31 Вот цари, которые правили в Эдоме, прежде чем какой-либо царь стал править в Израиле.

32 Бела, сын Беора, царствовал в Эдоме, а его город назывался Динхава.

33 Когда Бела умер, вместо него воцарился Иовав, сын Зераха из Боцры.

34 Когда умер Иовав, воцарился вместо него Хушам из страны Теман.

35 После смерти Хушама Эдомом правил Хадад, сын Бедада, который разбил мидьянитян на поле Моава; его город назывался Авит.

36 Когда умер Хадад, воцарился Самла из Масреки.

37 После смерти Самлы вместо него воцарился Шауль из Реховота, что у реки.

38 После смерти Шауля воцарился Бааль-Ханан, сын Ахбора.

39 Когда умер Бааль-Ханан, сын Ахбора, воцарился Хадар; город, в котором он царствовал, звался Пау. Жену его звали Мехетавэль, была она дочерью Матред, дочери Ме-Захава.

40 [40-43] И вот еще вожди эдомитян и их роды, что вели свое происхождение от Исава: Тимна, Алва, Етет, Охоливама, Эла, Пинон, Кеназ, Теман, Мивцар, Магдиэль, Ирам. Земли, которыми они владели, были известны по именам этих родов.

Chapter 36

1 NOW these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.

2 Esau took his wives from among the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, the son of Zibeon the Hivite;

3 And Bismath, Ishmael's daughter, sister of Nebioth.

4 And Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz; and Bismath bore Reuel;

5 And Aholibamah bore Jeush, Jaalan, and Korah; these are the sons of Esau that were born to him in the land of Canaan.

6 And Esau took his wives, his sons, his daughters, and all the persons of his household, and all his cattle, and all the wealth which he had acquired in the land of Canaan; and went to the land of Seir from the presence of his brother Jacob.

7 For their wealth was too great for them to dwell together; and the land in which they sojourned could not sustain them because of their cattle.

8 Thus Esau dwelt in mount Seir; Esau is Edom.

9 And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir;

10 These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bismath the wife of Esau.

11 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatham, and Kenaz.

12 And Timna was a concubine of Eliphaz, Esau's son; and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek. These were the sons of Adah, Esau's wife.

13 And these are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah; these were the sons of Bismath, Esau's wife.

14 These are the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the son of Zibeon, Esau's wife; and she bore to Esau Jeush, Jaalan, and Korah.

15 These are the chiefs of the sons of Esau, the sons of Eliphaz the first-born of Esau: chief Teman, chief Omar, chief Zepho, chief Kenaz,

16 Chief Gatham, chief Korah, and chief Amalek; these are the chiefs that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these were the sons of Adah.

17 And these are the sons of Reuel, Esau's son: chief Nahath, chief Zerah, chief Shammah, and chief Mizzah; these are the chiefs that came of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Bismath, Esau's wife.

18 These are the sons of Aholibamah, Esau's wife: chief Jeush, chief Jaalan, and chief Korah; these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.

19 These are the sons of Esau, who is Edom, and these are their chiefs.

20 These are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,

21 Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan; these are the chiefs of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.

22 And the sons of Lotan were Hori and Heman; and Lotan's sister was Timna.

23 These are the sons of Shobal: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shapar, and Oiam.

24 And these are the sons of Zibeon: Ana and Anah; he is the Anah who discovered water in the desert while he was feeding the asses of Zibeon his father.

25 These are the children of Anah: Dishon and Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah.

26 These are the sons of Dishon: Hemran, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.

27 These are the sons of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.

28 These are the sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.

29 These are the chiefs of the Horites: chief Lotan, chief Shobal, chief Zibeon, chief Anah,

30 Chief Dishon, chief Ezer, and chief Dishan; these are the chiefs of the Horites, according to their chiefs in the land of Seir.

31 And these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel:

32 Bela, the son of Beor, reigned in Edom; and the name of his city was Dihab.

33 And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

34 And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of Teman reigned in his stead.

35 And Husham died, and Hadad, the son of Bedad, who smote the Midianites in the fields of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Gevith.

36 And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

37 And Samlah died, and Saul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.

38 And Saul died, and Baal-hanan, the son of Abcor, reigned in his stead.

39 And Baal-hanan, the son of Abcor died, and Hadad reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

40 And these are the names of the chiefs of Esau, according to their families, and according to their generations, by their names: chief Timnah, chief Anvah, chief Jetheth,

6 Исав взял своих жен, сыновей, дочерей и всех домочадцев своих, весь свой скот — все стада и всё имущество, какое приобрел он в Ханаане, и ушел от брата своего Иакова в другую страну.	6 And Esau took his wives, his sons, his daughters, and all the persons of his household, and all his cattle, and all the wealth which he had acquired in the land of Canaan; and went to the land of Seir from the presence of his brother Jacob.
7 Добра у них было так много, что тесно им стало жить бок о бок: земли, на которой они поселились, не хватало им из-за множества скота.	7 For their wealth was too great for them to dwell together; and the land in which they sojourned could not sustain them because of their cattle.
8 Так Исав (известный также как Эдом), расставшись с Иаковом, жил в нагорной стране Сеир.	8 Thus Esau dwelt in mount Seir; Esau is Edom.
9 И еще О ПОТОМКАХ ИСАВА, отца эдомитян, живших в нагорной стране Сеир.	9 And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir;
10 Имена сыновей Исава: Элифаз, сын Исава от Ады, и Реуэль, сын Исава от Басмат.	10 These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bismath the wife of Esau.
11 Сыновья Элифаза: Теман, Омар, Цефо, Гатам и Кеназ.	11 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatham, and Kenaz.
12 И от Тимны, наложницы Элифаза, родился сын Амалек. Это потомки Ады, жены Исава.	12 And Timna was a concubine of Eliphaz, Esau's son; and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek. These were the sons of Adah, Esau's wife.
13 Сыновья Реуэля: Нахат и Зерах, Шамма и Мизза. Это потомки Басмат, жены Исава.	13 And these are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah; these were the sons of Bismath, Esau's wife.
14 Были у Исава сыновья и от его жены Охоливамы, дочери Аны, внучки Цивона. Она родила Исаву Еуша, Ялама и Корея.	14 These are the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the son of Zibeon, Esau's wife; and she bore to Esau Jeush, Jaalan, and Korah.

38 После смерти Шауля воцарился Бааль-Ханан, сын Ахбора.	38 And Saul died, and Baal-hanan, the son of Abcor, reigned in his stead.
39 Когда умер Бааль-Ханан, сын Ахбора, воцарился Хадар; город, в котором он царствовал, звался Пау. Жену его звали Мехетавэль, была она дочерью Матред, дочери Ме-Захава.	39 And Baal-hanan, the son of Abcor died, and Hadad reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
40 [40-43] И вот еще вожди эдомитян и их роды, что вели свое происхождение от Исава: Тимна, Алва, Етет, Охоливама, Эла, Пинон, Кеназ, Теман, Мивцар, Магдиэль, Ирам. Земли, которыми они владели, были известны по именам этих родов.	40 And these are the names of the chiefs of Esau, according to their families, and according to their generations, by their names: chief Timnah, chief Anvah, chief Jetheth,
