Книга Иисуса Навина

Глава 23

1 С тех пор как даровал ГОСПОДЬ израильтянам покой и враги перестали беспокоить Израиль, прошло немало времени. Иисус прожил долгую жизнь и состарился.

2 Созвав однажды всех израильтян, их старейшин, глав общины, судей и распорядителей, Иисус сказал им: «Я прожил долгую жизнь и состарился.

3 Вы видели всё, что сделал ради вас ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, как поступил Он со всеми этими народами: ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, Сам сражался за вас!

4 Я разделил между вашими коленами по жребию родовое ваше наследие — земли оставшихся в этой стране народов от Иордана до Великого моря на западе, как и земли тех, которых я уже истребил.

5 ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, поселит вас вместо них. Он выдворит их, и вы завладеете их землей, как и обещал вам ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш.

6 Только будьте твердыми, стремясь выполнить все, что записано в Моисеевой книге Закона. Не уклоняйтесь от него ни вправо, ни влево!

7 Не заключайте никаких союзов с народами, которые еще остаются в вашей стране. Не призывайте имен их богов ни в молитвах, ни в клятвах, не служите этим богам и не поклоняйтесь им!

8 Будьте верны ГОСПОДУ, Богу вашему, так же как были верны до этого дня.

9 Сам ГОСПОДЬ выдворял великие и сильные народы с их земель по мере вашего продвижения, и доныне никто не мог противостоять вам.

10 Один ваш воин обращает в бегство тысячу, ибо Сам ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, сражается за вас, как Он и обещал вам.

11 Берегитесь отступничества и любите ГОСПОДА, Бога вашего!

12 Но если вы когда-либо отступите от Бога и вступите в союз с теми народами, что еще остались в вашей стране, если вы породнитесь или смешаетесь с ними,

13 то знайте, что ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, больше не будет выдворять их ради вас. Станут они для вас западней, расставленной сетью, будут бичевать тело ваше и глаза вам колоть до тех пор, пока вы не исчезнете с лица этой благодатной земли, которую дал вам ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш.

14 Вскоре я отправлюсь в путь, который предстоит каждому живущему на земле. Вы хорошо знаете, что не осталось не исполненным ни одно из обещаний, данных вам ГОСПОДОМ, Богом вашим. Всё исполнилось, ничто не было забыто.

15 И точно так, как ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, исполнил все добрые слова, какие Он вам говорил, так Он наведет на вас и беды — и вы погибнете, исчезнете с лица этой благодатной земли, дарованной вам ГОСПОДОМ, Богом вашим.

16 Если вы нарушите условия Союза, Завета, блюсти которые повелел вам ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, и вслед за язычниками станете служить и поклоняться иным богам, тогда падет на вас гнев ГОСПОДА, и вскоре вы исчезнете с лица той благодатной земли, которую Он дал вам».

Joshua

Chapter 23

1 AND it came to pass after a long time, when the LORD had given rest to Israel from all their enemies round about, that Joshua was old, and well advanced in years.

2 And Joshua summoned all Israel, their elders, their heads, their judges, and their scribes, and said to them, I am old and well advanced in years;

3 And you have seen all that the LORD your God has done to all these nations, which he destroyed from before you; for it is the LORD your God who has fought for you.

4 Behold, I have not divided to you the land of these nations that remain, in the inheritance of your tribes; but from the Jordan, all the nations that I have destroyed, even to the Great Sea westward, have I divided among you.

5 The LORD your God will defeat them, and destroy them from before you; and you shall possess their land, as the LORD your God has promised you.

6 Only be strong to keep and do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, the servant of God, and not turn aside from it, neither to the right hand nor to the left;

7 And you shall not mix with these nations that remain among you; neither make mention of the names of their gods, nor swear by them, neither serve them, nor worship them;

8 But cleave to the LORD your God, as you have done even to this day.

9 For the LORD has destroyed from before you great and strong nations; and no man has been able to stand against you to this day.

10 One man of you shall chase a thousand; for the LORD your God is with you, he it is who fights for you, as he has promised you.

11 Take good heed therefore to yourselves, to revere the LORD your God.

12 For if you ever turn back and join the remnant of these nations that remain among you and make marriages with them and mix with them and they with you;

13 Then know for sure that the LORD your God will no more destroy these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps to you, and spears in your sides and fishhooks in your eyes, until you perish from off this good land which the LORD your God has given you.

14 And as for me, I am now going the way of all the earth; and you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good promises which the LORD your God spoke concerning you; all have come to pass to you, and not one thing has failed.

15 Therefore, just as all the good things have come upon you which the LORD your God promised, so shall come upon you all the curses, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God has given you;

16 If you should transgress against the covenant of the LORD your God and against the commandments which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods and worship them; then shall the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and you shall perish quickly from off the good land which he has given you.

1 С тех пор как даровал ГОСПОДЬ израильтянам покой и враги перестали беспокоить Израиль, прошло немало времени. Иисус прожил долгую жизнь и состарился.

1 AND it came to pass after a long time, when the LORD had given rest to Israel from all their enemies round about, that Joshua was old, and well advanced in years.

2 Созвав однажды всех израильтян, их старейшин, глав общины, судей и распорядителей, Иисус сказал им: «Я прожил долгую жизнь и состарился.

2 And Joshua summoned all Israel, their elders, their heads, their judges, and their scribes, and said to them, I am old and well advanced in years;

3 Вы видели всё, что сделал ради вас ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, как поступил Он со всеми этими народами: ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, Сам сражался за вас!

3 And you have seen all that the LORD your God has done to all these nations, which he destroyed from before you; for it is the LORD your God who has fought for you.

4 Я разделил между вашими коленами по жребию родовое ваше наследие — земли оставшихся в этой стране народов от Иордана до Великого моря на западе, как и земли тех, которых я уже истребил.

4 Behold, I have not divided to you the land of these nations that remain, in the inheritance of your tribes; but from the Jordan, all the nations that I have destroyed, even to the Great Sea westward, have I divided among you.

5 ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, поселит вас вместо них. Он выдворит их, и вы завладеете их землей, как и обещал вам ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш.

5 The LORD your God will defeat them, and destroy them from before you; and you shall possess their land, as the LORD your God has promised you.

6 Только будьте твердыми, стремясь выполнить все, что записано в Моисеевой книге Закона. Не уклоняйтесь от него ни вправо, ни влево!

6 Only be strong to keep and do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, the servant of God, and not turn aside from it, neither to the right hand nor to the left;

7 Не заключайте никаких союзов с народами, которые еще остаются в вашей стране. Не призывайте имен их богов ни в молитвах, ни в клятвах, не служите этим богам и не поклоняйтесь им!

7 And you shall not mix with these nations that remain among you; neither make mention of the names of their gods, nor swear by them, neither serve them, nor worship them;

8 Будьте верны ГОСПОДУ, Богу вашему, так же как были верны до этого дня.

8 But cleave to the LORD your God, as you have done even to this day.

9 Сам ГОСПОДЬ выдворял великие и сильные народы с их земель по мере вашего продвижения, и доныне никто не мог противостоять вам.

9 For the LORD has destroyed from before you great and strong nations; and no man has been able to stand against you to this day.

10 Один ваш воин обращает в бегство тысячу, ибо Сам ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, сражается за вас, как Он и обещал вам.

10 One man of you shall chase a thousand; for the LORD your God is with you, he it is who fights for you, as he has promised you.

11 Берегитесь отступничества и любите ГОСПОДА, Бога вашего!

11 Take good heed therefore to yourselves, to revere the LORD your God.

12 Но если вы когда-либо отступите от Бога и вступите в союз с теми народами, что еще остались в вашей стране, если вы породнитесь или смешаетесь с ними,

12 For if you ever turn back and join the remnant of these nations that remain among you and make marriages with them and mix with them and they with you;

13 то знайте, что ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, больше не будет выдворять их ради вас. Станут они для вас западней, расставленной сетью, будут бичевать тело ваше и глаза вам колоть до тех пор, пока вы не исчезнете с лица этой благодатной земли, которую дал вам ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш.

13 Then know for sure that the LORD your God will no more destroy these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps to you, and spears in your sides and fishhooks in your eyes, until you perish from off this good land which the LORD your God has given you.

14 Вскоре я отправлюсь в путь, который предстоит каждому живущему на земле. Вы хорошо знаете, что не осталось не исполненным ни одно из обещаний, данных вам ГОСПОДОМ, Богом вашим. Всё исполнилось, ничто не было забыто.

14 And as for me, I am now going the way of all the earth; and you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good promises which the LORD your God spoke concerning you; all have come to pass to you, and not one thing has failed.

15 И точно так, как ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, исполнил все добрые слова, какие Он вам говорил, так Он наведет на вас и беды — и вы погибнете, исчезнете с лица этой благодатной земли, дарованной вам ГОСПОДОМ, Богом вашим.

15 Therefore, just as all the good things have come upon you which the LORD your God promised, so shall come upon you all the curses, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God has given you;

16 Если вы нарушите условия Союза, Завета, блюсти которые повелел вам ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш, и вслед за язычниками станете служить и поклоняться иным богам, тогда падет на вас гнев ГОСПОДА, и вскоре вы исчезнете с лица той благодатной земли, которую Он дал вам».

16 If you should transgress against the covenant of the LORD your God and against the commandments which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods and worship them; then shall the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and you shall perish quickly from off the good land which he has given you.
