Евангелие от Иоанна

Глава 5

1 После этого был праздник Иудейский, и пришел Иисус в Иерусалим.

2 Есть в Иерусалиме у Овечьих ворот водоём, называемый по-еврейски Вифезда, с пятью крытыми ходами.

3 В них лежало множество больных: слепых, хромых, сухих [, ожидающих движения воды.

4 Ибо ангел Господень, время от времени, сходил в водоём и возмущал воду, и первый, кто входил по возмущении воды, выздоравливал, каким бы ни был одержим недугом].

5 Был там некий человек, тридцать восемь лет страдавший болезнью своей.

6 Иисус, увидев его лежащим и узнав, что он уже много времени болен, говорит ему: хочешь ли стать здоровым?

7 Ответил Ему больной: господин, нет у меня человека, чтобы опустить меня в водоём, когда возмутится вода. А пока я иду, другой раньше меня спускается.

8 Говорит ему Иисус: встань, возьми постель твою и ходи.

9 И тотчас стал здоровым человек, и взял постель свою, и начал ходить. А была суббота в тот день.

10 Поэтому говорили Иудеи исцеленному: сегодня суббота, и нельзя тебе брать постели.

11 Он же ответил им: Тот, Кто сделал меня здоровым, Он мне и сказал: «возьми постель твою и ходи».

12 Спросили его: кто Этот Человек, Который сказал тебе: «возьми и ходи»?

13 Исцеленный же не знал, кто Он. Ибо Иисус скрылся, пользуясь тем, что на этом месте была толпа.

14 После этого нашел его Иисус в храме и сказал ему: вот, ты стал здоровым; больше не греши, чтобы не случилось с тобой чего худшего.

15 Пошел человек и сказал Иудеям, что здоровым сделал его Иисус.

16 Потому и начали гнать Иудеи Иисуса, что Он это делал в субботу.

17 Но Он ответил им: Отец Мой доныне делает, и Я делаю.

18 И потому тем более искали Иудеи убить Его, что Он не только нарушал субботу, но и Отцом Своим называл Бога, делая Себя равным Богу.

19 Сказал же им Иисус в ответ: истинно, истинно говорю вам: не может Сын творить Сам по Себе ничего, если не видит Отца творящим: ибо, что Он творит, то и Сын творит так же.

20 Ибо Отец любит Сына и показывает Ему всё, что Сам творит, и покажет Ему дела больше этих, чтобы вы удивлялись.

21 Ибо, как Отец воздвигает мертвых и животворит, так и Сын, кого хочет, животворит.

22 Ибо и Отец не судит никого, но суд весь дал Сыну,

23 чтобы все чтили Сына, как чтут Отца. Кто не чтит Сына, не чтит Отца, пославшего Его.

24 Истинно, истинно говорю вам: слово Мое слушающий и верящий Пославшему Меня имеет жизнь вечную и на суд не приходит, но перешел из смерти в жизнь.

25 Истинно, истинно говорю вам: приходит час, и теперь есть, когда мертвые услышат голос Сына Божия, и услышавшие оживут.

26 Ибо, как Отец имеет жизнь в Самом Себе, так дал Он и Сыну иметь жизнь в Самом Себе,

27 и дал Ему власть суд творить, потому что Он — сын человека.

28 Не удивляйтесь этому, потому что приходит час, когда все, находящиеся в могилах, услышат голос Его,

29 и выйдут: сотворившие благое — в воскресение жизни, сделавшие злое — в воскресение суда.

30 Не могу Я Сам по Себе творить ничего: как слышу, сужу, и суд Мой праведен, потому что не ищу воли Моей, но воли Пославшего Меня.

31 Если Я свидетельствую о Самом Себе, свидетельство Мое не истинно.

32 Свидетельствует о Мне Другой, и знаю, что истинно то свидетельство, которым Он свидетельствует о Мне.

33 Вы посылали к Иоанну, и он засвидетельствовал об истине.

34 Не от человека Я принимаю свидетельство, но говорю это, чтобы вы были спасены.

35 Он был светильник горящий и светящий, и вы хотели недолгое время возликовать при свете его.

36 Но у Меня свидетельство больше Иоаннова: ибо дела, которые дал Мне Отец, чтобы Я совершил их, самые эти дела, которые Я творю, свидетельствуют о Мне, что Отец Меня послал.

37 И пославший Меня Отец, Он и засвидетельствовал о Мне. Вы и голоса Его никогда не слышали, и вида Его не видели,

38 и слова Его не имеете, в вас пребывающего, ибо Кого послал Он, Тому вы не верите.

39 Вы исследуете Писания, потому что думаете в них иметь жизнь вечную. А они и свидетельствуют о Мне.

40 И вы не хотите придти ко Мне, чтобы иметь жизнь.

41 Славы от людей Я не принимаю,

42 но Я знаю вас, что любви Божией вы не имеете в себе.

43 Я пришел во имя Отца Моего, и вы не принимаете Меня; если другой придет во имя свое, того вы примете.

44 Как можете вы уверовать, если принимаете славу друг от друга, а славы, которая от единого Бога, не ищете?

45 Не думайте, что Я буду обвинять вас пред Отцом: есть обвинитель на вас — Моисей, на которого вы возложили упование.

46 Если бы вы верили Моисею, то верили бы и Мне, ибо о Мне он написал.

47 Если же вы его писаниям не верите, как Моим словам поверите?

Chapter 5

1 AFTER these things there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

2 Now there was at Jerusalem a baptismal pool, which is called in Hebrew Bethesda, having five entrances.

3 And at these entrances a great many sick people were lying, the blind, the lame, and the crippled; and they were waiting for the water to be stirred up;

4 For an angel of God went down at a certain time to the baptismal pool and stirred up the water; and whoever went in first after the stirring of the water was healed of any disease he had.

5 A man was there who had been sick for thirty-eight years.

6 Jesus saw this man lying down, and he knew that he had been waiting for a long time; so he said to him, Do you wish to be healed?

7 The sick man answered and said, Yes, my Lord; but I have no man, when the water is stirred up, to put me into the baptismal pool; but while I am coming, another one goes in before me.

8 Jesus said to him, Rise, take up your quiltbed, and walk.

9 And the man was healed immediately, and he got up and took his quilt-bed and walked. And that day was the sabbath.

10 So the Jews said to him who was healed, It is the sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your quilt-bed.

11 He answered and said to them, He who had healed me, he told me, Take up your quilt-bed, and walk.

12 And they asked him, Who is this man who said to you, Take up your quilt-bed, and walk?

13 But he who was healed did not know who he was; for Jesus was pressed by a large crowd which was at that place.

14 After a while, Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, Behold, you are healed; do not sin again, for something worse might happen to you than the first.

15 And the man went away and told the Jews, that it was Jesus who had healed him.

16 And for this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus and wanted to kill him, because he was doing these things on the sabbath.

17 But Jesus said to them, My Father works even until now, so I also work.

18 And for this the Jews wanted the more to kill him, not only because he was weakening the sabbath, but also because he said concerning God that he is his Father, and was making himself equal with God.

19 Jesus answered and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, that the Son can do nothing of his own accord, except what he sees the Father doing; for the things which the Father does, the same the Son does like him also.

20 For the Father loves his Son, and he shows him everything that he does; and he will show him greater works than these, so that you may marvel.

21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to those whom he will.

22 For the Father does not judge any man, but he has entrusted all judgment to the Son;

23 So that every man should honor the Son, just as he honors the Father. He who does not honor the Son, does not honor the Father who sent him.

24 Truly, truly, I say to you, He who hears my word, and believes him who has sent me, has everlasting life; and he does not come before the judgment, but he passes from death to life.

25 Truly, truly, I say to you, The time is coming, and it is now already here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear it will live.

26 For as the Father has life in himself, even so he has given to the Son also to have life in himself.

27 And he has given him authority to execute judgment also, for he is the Son of man.

28 Do not wonder at this; for the time is coming, when all those who are in the graves will hear his voice,

29 And they will come out; those who have done good works to the resurrection of life; and those who have done evil works to the resurrection of judgment.

30 I can do nothing of myself; but as I hear I judge, and my judgment is just; for I do not seek my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

31 If I testify concerning myself, my testimony is not true.

32 It is another one who testifies concerning me; and I know that the testimony which he testifies concerning me is true.

33 You sent to John, and he testified concerning the truth.

34 But I do not receive any testimony from men; but I tell you these things so that you may be saved.

35 He was a lamp which burns and gives light; and you were willing to delight in his light for a while.

36 But I have a greater testimony than that of John; for the works which my Father has given me to finish, the same works which I do, testify concerning me, that the Father has sent me.

37 And the Father who sent me has testified concerning me. But you have never heard his voice, nor seen his appearance.

38 And his word does not abide in you, because you do not believe in him whom he has sent.

39 Examine the scriptures, in which you trust that you have eternal life; and even they testify concerning me.

40 Yet you will not come to me, that you might have life everlasting.

41 I do not receive any praise from men.

42 But I know you well, that the love of God is not in you.

43 I have come in the name of my Father, and you do not receive me; if another should come in his own name, you will receive him.

44 How can you believe, when you accept praise one from another, but the praise from God only, you do not want?

45 Why, do you think that I will accuse you before the Father; there is one who will accuse you, even Moses, in whom you trust.

46 For if you had believed in Moses, you would also have believed in me; because Moses wrote concerning me.

47 If you do not believe his writings, how then can you believe my words?

1 После этого был праздник Иудейский, и пришел Иисус в Иерусалим.

1 AFTER these things there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

2 Есть в Иерусалиме у Овечьих ворот водоём, называемый по-еврейски Вифезда, с пятью крытыми ходами.

2 Now there was at Jerusalem a baptismal pool, which is called in Hebrew Bethesda, having five entrances.

4 Ибо ангел Господень, время от времени, сходил в водоём и возмущал воду, и первый, кто входил по возмущении воды, выздоравливал, каким бы ни был одержим недугом].

4 For an angel of God went down at a certain time to the baptismal pool and stirred up the water; and whoever went in first after the stirring of the water was healed of any disease he had.

5 Был там некий человек, тридцать восемь лет страдавший болезнью своей.

5 A man was there who had been sick for thirty-eight years.

6 Иисус, увидев его лежащим и узнав, что он уже много времени болен, говорит ему: хочешь ли стать здоровым?

6 Jesus saw this man lying down, and he knew that he had been waiting for a long time; so he said to him, Do you wish to be healed?

7 Ответил Ему больной: господин, нет у меня человека, чтобы опустить меня в водоём, когда возмутится вода. А пока я иду, другой раньше меня спускается.

7 The sick man answered and said, Yes, my Lord; but I have no man, when the water is stirred up, to put me into the baptismal pool; but while I am coming, another one goes in before me.

8 Говорит ему Иисус: встань, возьми постель твою и ходи.

8 Jesus said to him, Rise, take up your quiltbed, and walk.

9 И тотчас стал здоровым человек, и взял постель свою, и начал ходить. А была суббота в тот день.

9 And the man was healed immediately, and he got up and took his quilt-bed and walked. And that day was the sabbath.

10 Поэтому говорили Иудеи исцеленному: сегодня суббота, и нельзя тебе брать постели.

10 So the Jews said to him who was healed, It is the sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your quilt-bed.

11 Он же ответил им: Тот, Кто сделал меня здоровым, Он мне и сказал: «возьми постель твою и ходи».

11 He answered and said to them, He who had healed me, he told me, Take up your quilt-bed, and walk.

12 Спросили его: кто Этот Человек, Который сказал тебе: «возьми и ходи»?

12 And they asked him, Who is this man who said to you, Take up your quilt-bed, and walk?

13 Исцеленный же не знал, кто Он. Ибо Иисус скрылся, пользуясь тем, что на этом месте была толпа.

13 But he who was healed did not know who he was; for Jesus was pressed by a large crowd which was at that place.

14 После этого нашел его Иисус в храме и сказал ему: вот, ты стал здоровым; больше не греши, чтобы не случилось с тобой чего худшего.

14 After a while, Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, Behold, you are healed; do not sin again, for something worse might happen to you than the first.

15 Пошел человек и сказал Иудеям, что здоровым сделал его Иисус.

15 And the man went away and told the Jews, that it was Jesus who had healed him.

16 Потому и начали гнать Иудеи Иисуса, что Он это делал в субботу.

16 And for this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus and wanted to kill him, because he was doing these things on the sabbath.

17 Но Он ответил им: Отец Мой доныне делает, и Я делаю.

17 But Jesus said to them, My Father works even until now, so I also work.

18 И потому тем более искали Иудеи убить Его, что Он не только нарушал субботу, но и Отцом Своим называл Бога, делая Себя равным Богу.

18 And for this the Jews wanted the more to kill him, not only because he was weakening the sabbath, but also because he said concerning God that he is his Father, and was making himself equal with God.

19 Сказал же им Иисус в ответ: истинно, истинно говорю вам: не может Сын творить Сам по Себе ничего, если не видит Отца творящим: ибо, что Он творит, то и Сын творит так же.

19 Jesus answered and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, that the Son can do nothing of his own accord, except what he sees the Father doing; for the things which the Father does, the same the Son does like him also.

20 Ибо Отец любит Сына и показывает Ему всё, что Сам творит, и покажет Ему дела больше этих, чтобы вы удивлялись.

20 For the Father loves his Son, and he shows him everything that he does; and he will show him greater works than these, so that you may marvel.

21 Ибо, как Отец воздвигает мертвых и животворит, так и Сын, кого хочет, животворит.

21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to those whom he will.

22 Ибо и Отец не судит никого, но суд весь дал Сыну,

22 For the Father does not judge any man, but he has entrusted all judgment to the Son;

23 чтобы все чтили Сына, как чтут Отца. Кто не чтит Сына, не чтит Отца, пославшего Его.

23 So that every man should honor the Son, just as he honors the Father. He who does not honor the Son, does not honor the Father who sent him.

24 Истинно, истинно говорю вам: слово Мое слушающий и верящий Пославшему Меня имеет жизнь вечную и на суд не приходит, но перешел из смерти в жизнь.

24 Truly, truly, I say to you, He who hears my word, and believes him who has sent me, has everlasting life; and he does not come before the judgment, but he passes from death to life.

25 Истинно, истинно говорю вам: приходит час, и теперь есть, когда мертвые услышат голос Сына Божия, и услышавшие оживут.

25 Truly, truly, I say to you, The time is coming, and it is now already here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear it will live.

26 Ибо, как Отец имеет жизнь в Самом Себе, так дал Он и Сыну иметь жизнь в Самом Себе,

26 For as the Father has life in himself, even so he has given to the Son also to have life in himself.

27 и дал Ему власть суд творить, потому что Он — сын человека.

27 And he has given him authority to execute judgment also, for he is the Son of man.

28 Не удивляйтесь этому, потому что приходит час, когда все, находящиеся в могилах, услышат голос Его,

28 Do not wonder at this; for the time is coming, when all those who are in the graves will hear his voice,

29 и выйдут: сотворившие благое — в воскресение жизни, сделавшие злое — в воскресение суда.

29 And they will come out; those who have done good works to the resurrection of life; and those who have done evil works to the resurrection of judgment.

30 Не могу Я Сам по Себе творить ничего: как слышу, сужу, и суд Мой праведен, потому что не ищу воли Моей, но воли Пославшего Меня.

30 I can do nothing of myself; but as I hear I judge, and my judgment is just; for I do not seek my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

31 Если Я свидетельствую о Самом Себе, свидетельство Мое не истинно.

31 If I testify concerning myself, my testimony is not true.

32 Свидетельствует о Мне Другой, и знаю, что истинно то свидетельство, которым Он свидетельствует о Мне.

32 It is another one who testifies concerning me; and I know that the testimony which he testifies concerning me is true.

33 Вы посылали к Иоанну, и он засвидетельствовал об истине.

33 You sent to John, and he testified concerning the truth.

34 Не от человека Я принимаю свидетельство, но говорю это, чтобы вы были спасены.

34 But I do not receive any testimony from men; but I tell you these things so that you may be saved.

35 Он был светильник горящий и светящий, и вы хотели недолгое время возликовать при свете его.

35 He was a lamp which burns and gives light; and you were willing to delight in his light for a while.

36 Но у Меня свидетельство больше Иоаннова: ибо дела, которые дал Мне Отец, чтобы Я совершил их, самые эти дела, которые Я творю, свидетельствуют о Мне, что Отец Меня послал.

36 But I have a greater testimony than that of John; for the works which my Father has given me to finish, the same works which I do, testify concerning me, that the Father has sent me.

37 И пославший Меня Отец, Он и засвидетельствовал о Мне. Вы и голоса Его никогда не слышали, и вида Его не видели,

37 And the Father who sent me has testified concerning me. But you have never heard his voice, nor seen his appearance.

38 и слова Его не имеете, в вас пребывающего, ибо Кого послал Он, Тому вы не верите.

38 And his word does not abide in you, because you do not believe in him whom he has sent.

39 Вы исследуете Писания, потому что думаете в них иметь жизнь вечную. А они и свидетельствуют о Мне.

39 Examine the scriptures, in which you trust that you have eternal life; and even they testify concerning me.

40 И вы не хотите придти ко Мне, чтобы иметь жизнь.

40 Yet you will not come to me, that you might have life everlasting.

41 Славы от людей Я не принимаю,

41 I do not receive any praise from men.

42 но Я знаю вас, что любви Божией вы не имеете в себе.

42 But I know you well, that the love of God is not in you.

43 Я пришел во имя Отца Моего, и вы не принимаете Меня; если другой придет во имя свое, того вы примете.

43 I have come in the name of my Father, and you do not receive me; if another should come in his own name, you will receive him.

44 Как можете вы уверовать, если принимаете славу друг от друга, а славы, которая от единого Бога, не ищете?

44 How can you believe, when you accept praise one from another, but the praise from God only, you do not want?

45 Не думайте, что Я буду обвинять вас пред Отцом: есть обвинитель на вас — Моисей, на которого вы возложили упование.

45 Why, do you think that I will accuse you before the Father; there is one who will accuse you, even Moses, in whom you trust.

46 Если бы вы верили Моисею, то верили бы и Мне, ибо о Мне он написал.

46 For if you had believed in Moses, you would also have believed in me; because Moses wrote concerning me.

47 Если же вы его писаниям не верите, как Моим словам поверите?

47 If you do not believe his writings, how then can you believe my words?
