1 Псалом4210 Асафа.623 Как благ2896 Бог430 к Израилю,3478 к чистым1249 сердцем!3824

2 А я — едва4592 не пошатнулись51865186 ноги7272 мои, едва не поскользнулись8210 стопы838 мои, —

3 я позавидовал7065 безумным,1984 видя7200 благоденствие7965 нечестивых,7563

4 ибо им нет страданий2784 до смерти4194 их, и крепки1277 силы193 их;

5 на работе5999 человеческой582 нет их, и с прочими людьми120 не подвергаются5060 ударам.5060

6 От того гордость,1346 как6059 ожерелье,6059 обложила6059 их, и дерзость,2555 как наряд,7897 одевает5848 их;

7 выкатились3318 от жира2459 глаза5869 их, бродят5674 помыслы4906 в сердце;3824

12 И вот, эти нечестивые7563 благоденствуют7961 в веке5769 сем, умножают7685 богатство.2428

13 Так не напрасно7385 ли я очищал2135 сердце3824 мое и омывал7364 в невинности5356 руки3709 мои,

14 и подвергал5060 себя ранам5060 всякий день3117 и обличениям8433 всякое утро?1242

15 Но если бы я сказал:559 «буду5608 рассуждать5608 так»,3644 — то я виновен898 был898 бы пред родом1755 сынов1121 Твоих.

16 И думал2803 я, как бы уразуметь3045 это, но это трудно5999 было в глазах5869 моих,

17 доколе не вошел935 я во святилище4720 Божие410 и не уразумел995 конца319 их.

18 Так! на скользких2513 путях поставил7896 Ты их и низвергаешь5307 их в пропасти.4876

19 Как нечаянно7281 пришли они в разорение,8047 исчезли,5486 погибли8552 от ужасов!1091

20 Как сновидение2472 по пробуждении,6974 так Ты, Господи,136 пробудив5782 их, уничтожишь959 мечты6754 их.

Psalm 72

1 GIVE the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness to the king's son,

2 That he may judge thy people with righteousness and thy poor with justice.

3 The mountains shall bring peace to thy people, and the hills thy righteousness.

4 He shall judge the poor of the people; he shall save the children of the needy; and he shall crush the oppressor.

5 They shall revere thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.

7 In his days shall the righteous flourish, and abundance of peace so long as the moon endures.

8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth.

9 They that dwell on the islands shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.

10 The kings of Tarshish and of the islands shall bring presents; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

11 Yea, all kings shall worship him, all nations shall serve him;

12 For he shall deliver the needy from the mighty, the poor also, who has no helper.

13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.

14 He shall redeem their souls from deceit and violence; precious shall their blood be in his sight.

15 And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba; prayer also shall be made to him continually, and daily shall he be praised.

16 He shall multiply like wheat upon the earth; his seed shall spring up on the mountain tops, as on Lebanon; and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

17 His name shall endure for ever; his name shall be continued as long as the sun; and men shall be blessed in him; all nations shall call him blessed.

18 Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things.

19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever; and let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and Amen.
