羅馬書

第13章

1 居上位者、衆宜服之、非上帝則無居位者、凡居位者、皆上帝所命、

2 與居位者敵、是爲逆上帝命、逆者必受罪、

3 有司不令善人畏、使惡人畏、爾欲不畏居位者、惟行善、可得其褒、

4 居位者上帝僕也、原以益爾、行惡宜畏之、以其爲上帝僕、柄不徒操、刑加作惡之人、

5 此其所以當服之、豈惟刑故、吾心使然也、

6 是宜輸稅、居位者上帝之執事、恆執斯役、

7 所宜與者與之、稅宜納助納之、餉宜輸則輸之、宜敬畏則敬畏之、

8 勿負人、惟愛人、愛人者、盡律法、

9 誡曰、勿淫、勿殺、勿竊、勿妄證、勿貪、其餘一言以蔽之、曰、愛人如己、

10 愛者與人無惡、愛者盡律法也、

11 凡此皆所當行、因知屆期、今宜寤矣、較我初信之時、福更近之、

12 夜旣央、晝伊邇、當解行暗之衣、服光明之甲、

13 行所當行、有如晝日、勿沉湎而蕩檢、勿冒色而邪侈、勿鬭忿而媢嫉、

14 勿圖情欲、以任所嗜、惟主耶穌基督是佩是服、

Chapter 13

1 Let every3956 soul5590 be subject5293 to the higher5242 powers.1849 For there is no3756 power1849 but of God:2316 the powers1849 that be are ordained5021 of God.2316

2 Whoever3588 therefore5620 resists498 the power,1849 resists436 the ordinance1296 of God:2316 and they that resist436 shall receive2983 to themselves1438 damnation.2917

3 For rulers758 are not a terror5401 to good18 works,2041 but to the evil.2556 Will2309 you then1161 not be afraid5399 of the power?1849 do4160 that which is good,18 and you shall have2192 praise1868 of the same:846

4 For he is the minister1249 of God2316 to you for good.18 But if1437 you do4160 that which is evil,2556 be afraid;5399 for he bears5409 not the sword3162 in vain:1500 for he is the minister1249 of God,2316 a revenger1558 to execute wrath3709 on him that does4238 evil.2556

5 Why1352 you must needs318 be subject,5293 not only3440 for wrath,3709 but also2532 for conscience4893 sake.

6 For for this5124 cause1223 pay5055 you tribute5411 also:2532 for they are God's2316 ministers,3011 attending4342 continually4342 on this5124 very846 thing.

7 Render591 therefore3767 to all3956 their dues:3782 tribute5411 to whom3588 tribute5411 is due;514 custom5056 to whom3588 custom;5056 fear5401 to whom3588 fear;5401 honor5092 to whom3588 honor.5092

8 Owe3784 no3367 man3367 any3367 thing, but to love25 one240 another:240 for he that loves25 another2087 has fulfilled4137 the law.3551

9 For this,3588 You shall not commit3431 adultery,3431 You shall not kill,5407 You shall not steal,2813 You shall not bear5576 false5576 witness,5576 You shall not covet;1937 and if1487 there be any1536 other2087 commandment,1785 it is briefly346 comprehended346 in this5129 saying,3056 namely,1722 You shall love25 your neighbor4139 as yourself.1438

10 Love26 works2038 no3756 ill2556 to his neighbor:4139 therefore3767 love26 is the fulfilling4138 of the law.3551

11 And that, knowing1492 the time,2540 that now2236 it is high time5610 to awake1453 out of sleep:5258 for now3568 is our salvation4991 nearer1452 than2228 when3753 we believed.4100

12 The night3571 is far spent,4298 the day2250 is at1448 hand:1448 let us therefore3767 cast656 off659 the works2041 of darkness,4655 and let us put1746 on1746 the armor3696 of light.5457

13 Let us walk4043 honestly,2156 as in the day;2250 not in rioting2970 and drunkenness,3178 not in chambering2845 and wantonness,766 not in strife2054 and envying.2205

14 But put1746 you on1746 the Lord2962 Jesus2424 Christ,5547 and make4160 not provision4307 for the flesh,4561 to fulfill the lusts1939 thereof.
