1 And the LORD3068 appeared7200 to him in the plains436 of Mamre:4471 and he sat3427 in the tent168 door6607 in the heat2527 of the day;3117

2 Und als er5324 seine Augen5869 aufhub und sah7200, siehe, da stunden drei7969 Männer582 gegen ihm. Und da er7323 sie sah7200, lief er ihnen entgegen7125 von der Tür6607 seiner Hütte168 und bückte sich7812 nieder auf5375 die Erde776

2 And he lift5375 up his eyes5869 and looked,7200 and, see,2009 three7969 men582 stood5324 by him: and when he saw7200 them, he ran7323 to meet7125 them from the tent168 door,6607 and bowed7812 himself toward the ground,776
|

3 und sprach559: HErr136, habe4672 ich Gnade2580 funden vor deinen Augen5869, so gehe5674 nicht vor deinem Knechte5650 über.
|
3 And said,559 My LORD,136 if518 now4994 I have found4672 favor2580 in your sight,5869 pass5674 not away, I pray4994 you, from your servant:5650
|
|
4 Man soll3947 euch ein wenig4592 Wassers4325 bringen und eure Füße7272 waschen7364; und lehnet euch unter den Baum6086.
|
4 Let a little4592 water,4325 I pray4994 you, be fetched,3947 and wash7364 your feet,7272 and rest8172 yourselves under8478 the tree:6086

5 Und ich will euch310 einen Bissen6595 Brots3899 bringen3947, daß ihr euer Herz3820 labet; danach sollt ihr fortgehen5674. Denn darum seid ihr zu5921 eurem Knechte5650 kommen5674. Sie sprachen1696: Tue6213, wie du gesagt559 hast.

5 And I will fetch3947 a morsel6595 of bread,3899 and comfort5582 you your hearts;3820 after310 that you shall pass5674 on: for therefore5921 3651 are you come5674 to your servant.5650 And they said,1696 So3651 do,6213 as you have said.1696

6 Abraham85 eilete in die Hütte168 zu6213 Sara8283 und sprach559: Eile4116 und menge drei7969 Maß5429 Semmelmehl5560, knete3888 und backe6213 Kuchen5692.
|
6 And Abraham85 hastened4116 into the tent168 to Sarah,8283 and said,559 Make ready4116 quickly4116 three7969 measures5429 of fine5560 meal,7058 5560 knead3888 it, and make6213 cakes5692 on the hearth.3820

7 Er85 aber lief7323 zu6213 den Rindern1241 und5414 holete ein zart7390 gut2896 Kalb und gab‘s3947 dem Knaben5288; der eilete und bereitete es zu
|
7 And Abraham85 ran7323 to the herd,1241 and fetched3947 a calf1121 1241 tender7390 and good,2896 and gave5414 it to a young5288 man; and he hurried4116 to dress6213 it.

8 Und er trug auf3947 Butter2529 und Milch2461 und von dem Kalbe, das er zubereitet hatte6213, und setzte5414 es ihnen vor und trat5975 vor sie unter6440 dem Baum6086, und sie aßen398.
|
8 And he took3947 butter,2529 and milk,2461 and the calf1121 1241 which834 he had dressed,6213 and set5414 it before6440 them; and he stood5975 by them under8478 the tree,6086 and they did eat.398
|

9 Da sprachen559 sie559 zu ihm: Wo346 ist dein Weib802 Sara8283? Er antwortete: Drinnen in der Hütte168.
|
9 And they said559 to him, Where346 is Sarah8283 your wife?802 And he said,559 Behold,2009 in the tent.168
|
|
10 Da6256 sprach559 er2416: Ich will7725 wieder7725 zu8085 dir kommen, so ich lebe, siehe, so soll Sara8283, dein Weib802, einen Sohn1121 haben. Das hörete Sara8283 hinter310 ihm, hinter der Tür6607 der Hütte168.
|
10 And he said,559 I will certainly7725 return7725 to you according to the time6256 of life;2416 and, see,2009 Sarah8283 your wife802 shall have a son.1121 And Sarah8283 heard8085 it in the tent168 door,6607 which1931 was behind310 him.

11 Und3117 sie waren beide, Abraham85 und Sara8283, alt2205 und wohl betagt, also daß es Sara8283 nicht mehr2308 ging935 nach der Weiber802 Weise734.
|
11 Now Abraham85 and Sarah8283 were old2205 and well stricken935 in age;3117 and it ceased2308 to be with Sarah8283 after the manner734 of women.802
|
|
12 Darum lachte6711 sie8283 bei sich selbst7130 und sprach559: Nun310 ich alt2204 bin1086, soll ich noch Wollust pflegen5730, und mein Herr113 auch alt ist!
|
12 Therefore Sarah8283 laughed6711 within7130 herself, saying,559 After310 I am waxed old1086 shall I have1961 pleasure,5730 my lord113 being old2204 also?
|
|
13 Da sprach559 der HErr3068 zu Abraham85: Warum4100 lachet des Sara8283 und spricht: Meinest du559, daß wahr sei552, daß ich589 noch gebären3205 werde, so ich doch alt bin2204?
|
13 And the LORD3068 said559 to Abraham,85 Why4100 did Sarah8283 laugh,6711 saying,559 Shall I of a surety552 bear3205 a child, which589 am old?2204
|
|
14 Sollte dem HErrn3068 etwas unmöglich sein6381? Um1697 diese Zeit4150 will ich wieder7725 zu dir6256 kommen, so ich lebe2416, so soll Sara8283 einen Sohn1121 haben.
|
14 Is any thing1697 too hard6381 for the LORD?3068 At the time appointed4150 I will return7725 to you, according to the time6256 of life,2416 and Sarah8283 shall have a son.1121
|
|
15 Da leugnete3584 Sara8283 und sprach559: Ich habe nicht3808 gelacht6711; denn sie fürchtete3372 sich. Aber er sprach559: Es ist nicht also, du hast gelacht6711.
|
15 Then Sarah8283 denied,3584 saying,559 I laughed6711 not; for she was afraid.3372 And he said,559 No;3808 but you did laugh.6711
|
|
16 Da stunden die Männer582 auf6965 von6440 dannen und wandten sich8259 gegen Sodom5467; und Abraham85 ging1980 mit ihnen, daß er sie geleitete7971.
|
16 And the men582 rose6965 up from there,8033 and looked8259 toward5921 6440 Sodom:5467 and Abraham85 went1980 with them to bring7971 them on the way.7971
|
|
17 Da sprach559 der HErr3068: Wie kann ich Abraham85 verbergen3680, was834 ich tue6213,
|
17 And the LORD3068 said,559 Shall I hide3680 from Abraham85 that thing which834 I do;6213
|
|
18 sintemal er85 ein groß1419 und mächtiges6099 Volk1471 soll werden, und alle Völker1471 auf Erden776 in ihm gesegnet1288 werden sollen?
|
18 Seeing that Abraham85 shall surely become1961 a great1419 and mighty6099 nation,1471 and all3605 the nations1471 of the earth776 shall be blessed1288 in him?
|
|
19 Denn ich weiß3045, er wird befehlen6680 seinen Kindern1121 und seinem Hause1004 nach310 ihm, daß sie des HErrn3068 Wege1870 halten8104 und tun6213, was834 recht4941 und gut6666 ist; auf daß der HErr3068 auf Abraham85 kommen lasse935, was er ihm verheißen hat1696.

19 For I know3045 him, that he will command6680 his children1121 and his household1004 after310 him, and they shall keep8104 the way1870 of the LORD,3068 to do6213 justice6666 and judgment;4941 that the LORD3068 may bring935 on Abraham85 that which834 he has spoken1696 of him.

20 Und der HErr3068 sprach559: Es ist ein Geschrei2201 zu3966 Sodom5467 und Gomorrha, das ist groß7227, und ihre Sünden2403 sind3513 fast schwer.
|
20 And the LORD3068 said,559 Because3588 the cry2201 of Sodom5467 and Gomorrah6017 is great,7227 and because3588 their sin2403 is very3966 grievous;3513
|
|
21 Darum will7200 ich hinabfahren3381 und sehen, ob sie alles3617 getan6213 haben nach dem Geschrei6818, das vor mich kommen ist935; oder ob‘s nicht also sei, daß ich‘s wisse3045.
|
21 I will go3381 down3381 now,4994 and see7200 whether they have done6213 altogether3617 according to the cry6818 of it, which is come935 to me; and if518 not, I will know.3045
|
|
22 Und die Männer582 wandten ihr Angesicht6437 und gingen3212 gen Sodom5467; aber Abraham85 blieb stehen5975 vor6440 dem HErrn3068
|
22 And the men582 turned6437 their faces from there,8033 and went3212 toward Sodom:5467 but Abraham85 stood5975 yet5750 before6440 the LORD.3068
|
|
23 und85 trat5066 zu ihm und sprach559: Willst du denn den Gerechten6662 mit5973 dem GOttlosen7563 umbringen5595?
|
23 And Abraham85 drew near,5066 and said,559 Will you also637 destroy5595 the righteous6662 with the wicked?7563
|
|
24 Es möchten vielleicht3426 fünfzig2572 Gerechte6662 in8432 der Stadt5892 sein; wolltest du die7130 umbringen5595 und dem Ort4725 nicht vergeben5375 um4616 fünfzig2572 Gerechter6662 willen, die drinnen wären?
|
24 Peradventure194 there be fifty2572 righteous6662 within8432 the city:5892 will you also637 destroy5595 and not spare5375 the place4725 for the fifty2572 righteous6662 that are therein?7130
|
|
25 Das1697 sei ferne2486 von dir, daß du das776 tust6213 und6213 tötest4191 den Gerechten6662 mit dem GOttlosen7563, daß der Gerechte6662 sei gleich wie4941 der GOttlose7563; das sei ferne2486 von dir, der du aller Welt Richter8199 bist! Du wirst so nicht richten.

25 That be far2486 from you to do6213 after3651 this2088 manner,1697 to slay4191 the righteous6662 with the wicked:7563 and that the righteous6662 should be as the wicked,7563 that be far2486 from you: Shall not the Judge8199 of all3605 the earth776 do6213 right?4941
|

26 Der HErr3068 sprach559: Finde4672 ich fünfzig2572 Gerechte6662 zu Sodom5467 in8432 der Stadt5892, so will ich um ihretwillen all den Orten4725 vergeben5375.
|
26 And the LORD3068 said,559 If518 I find4672 in Sodom5467 fifty2572 righteous6662 within8432 the city,5892 then I will spare5375 all3605 the place4725 for their sakes.5668
|
|
27 Abraham85 antwortete6030 und sprach559: Ach siehe, ich595 habe mich unterwunden2974 zu reden1696 mit dem HErrn136, wiewohl ich Erde6083 und Asche665 bin.
|
27 And Abraham85 answered6030 and said,559 Behold2009 now,4994 I have taken2974 on me to speak1696 to the LORD,136 which595 am but dust6083 and ashes:665
|
|
28 Es möchten vielleicht fünf2568 weniger2637 denn fünfzig2572 Gerechte6662 drinnen sein; wolltest du denn die ganze Stadt5892 verderben7843 um der fünfe willen? Er sprach559: Finde4672 ich drinnen fünfundvierzig2568, will ich sie nicht verderben7843.

28 Peradventure194 there shall lack2637 five2568 of the fifty2572 righteous:6662 will you destroy7843 all3605 the city5892 for lack of five?2568 And he said,559 If518 I find4672 there8033 forty705 and five,2568 I will not destroy7843 it.
|
|
29 Und er fuhr weiter3254 mit ihm zu reden1696, und sprach559: Man möchte4672 vielleicht vierzig705 drinnen finden. Er aber sprach559: Ich will ihnen nichts tun6213 um der vierzig705 willen.
|
29 And he spoke1696 to him yet5750 again,3254 and said,559 Peradventure194 there shall be forty705 found4672 there. And he said,559 I will not do6213 it for forty's705 sake.5668
|
|
30 Abraham sprach559: Zürne2734 nicht, HErr136, daß ich noch mehr rede. Man559 möchte4672 vielleicht dreißig7970 drinnen finden. Er aber sprach1696: Finde4672 ich dreißig7970 drinnen, so will ich ihnen nichts tun6213.
|
30 And he said559 to him, Oh4994 let not the LORD136 be angry,2734 and I will speak:1696 Peradventure194 there8033 shall thirty7970 be found4672 there.8033 And he said,559 I will not do6213 it, if518 I find4672 thirty7970 there.8033
|
|
31 Und er sprach559: Ach siehe, ich habe mich unterwunden2974, mit dem HErrn136 zu reden1696. Man559 möchte4672 vielleicht zwanzig6242 drinnen finden. Er antwortete: Ich will sie nicht verderben7843 um der zwanzig6242 willen.
|
31 And he said,559 Behold2009 now,4994 I have taken2974 on me to speak1696 to the LORD:136 Peradventure194 there8033 shall be twenty6242 found4672 there.8033 And he said,559 I will not destroy7843 it for twenty's6242 sake.5668
|
|
32 Und er sprach559: Ach zürne2734 nicht, HErr136, daß ich nur noch389 einmal6471 rede. Man559 möchte4672 vielleicht zehn6235 drinnen finden. Er aber sprach1696: Ich will sie nicht verderben7843 um der zehn6235 willen.
|
32 And he said,559 Oh4994 let not the LORD136 be angry,2734 and I will speak1696 yet389 but this6471 once:6471 Peradventure194 ten6235 shall be found4672 there.8033 And he said,559 I will not destroy7843 it for ten's6235 sake.5668
|
|
33 Und der HErr3068 ging hin3212, da834 er mit Abraham85 ausgeredet1696 hatte3615; und Abraham85 kehrte7725 wieder hin an seinen Ort4725.
|
33 And the LORD3068 went3212 his way,3212 as soon834 as he had left3615 communing1696 with Abraham:85 and Abraham85 returned7725 to his place.4725
