5 und sprach559 zu ihnen: Ich sehe7200 eures Vaters1 Angesicht, daß es nicht gegen mich6440 ist wie gestern8543 und ehegestern8032; aber der GOtt430 meines Vaters1 ist mit mir gewesen1961.

6 Und ihr859 wisset, daß ich3045 aus allen meinen Kräften3581 eurem Vater1 gedienet habe5647.

|
7 Und er1 hat mich getäuschet und nun zehnmal6235 meinen Lohn4909 verändert2498; aber GOtt430 hat ihm nicht gestattet5414, daß er mir5978 Schaden täte7489.

8 Wenn er sprach559: Die bunten5348 sollen dein Lohn7939 sein, so trug3205 die ganze Herde6629 bunte. Wenn er aber sprach559: Die sprenglichten sollen dein Lohn7939 sein, so trug3205 die ganze Herde6629 sprenglichte.

9 Also hat GOtt430 die Güter4735 eures Vaters1 ihm entwandt5337 und mir gegeben5414.

9 Thus God430 hath taken away5337 853 the cattle4735 of your father,1 and given5414 them to me.

10 Denn wenn die Zeit6256 des Laufs3179 kam, hub ich meine Augen5869 auf5375 und6629 sah7200 im Traum2472, und siehe, die Böcke6260 sprangen auf5927 die sprenglichte, fleckichte und bunte Herde6629.

10 And it came to pass1961 at the time6256 that the cattle6629 conceived,3179 that I lifted up5375 mine eyes,5869 and saw7200 in a dream,2472 and, behold,2009 the rams6260 which leaped5927 upon5921 the cattle6629 were ringstreaked,6124 speckled,5348 and grizzled.1261

12 Er aber sprach559: Heb auf5927 deine Augen5869 und siehe7200, die Böcke6260 springen auf die sprenglichte, fleckichte und bunte Herde6629; denn ich habe5375 alles gesehen7200, was dir Laban3837 tut6213.

12 And he said,559 Lift up5375 now4994 thine eyes,5869 and see,7200 all3605 the rams6260 which leap5927 upon5921 the cattle6629 are ringstreaked,6124 speckled,5348 and grizzled:1261 for3588 I have seen7200 853 all3605 that834 Laban3837 doeth6213 unto thee.

13 Ich bin der GOtt410 zu Bethel, da du den Stein4676 gesalbet hast4886 und mir daselbst ein Gelübde5088 getan5087. Nun mach dich auf6965 und zeuch aus3318 diesem Lande und zeuch wieder7725 in das776 Land776 deiner Freundschaft4138.

14 Da antwortete6030 Rahel7354 und Lea3812 und sprachen559 zu ihm: Wir haben doch kein Teil2506 noch Erbe5159 mehr in unsers Vaters1 Hause1004.

15 Hat398 er uns doch gehalten2803 als die Fremden5237; denn er hat398 uns verkauft4376 und unsern Lohn3701 verzehret.

15 Are we not3808 counted2803 of him strangers?5237 for3588 he hath sold4376 us, and hath quite devoured398 398 also1571 853 our money.3701

16 Darum hat GOtt430 unserm Vater1 entwandt5337 seinen Reichtum6239 zu uns und unsern Kindern1121: Alles nun, was GOtt430 dir gesagt559 hat, das tue6213.

17 Also machte sich Jakob3290 auf6965 und lud seine Kinder1121 und Weiber802 auf5375 Kamele1581.

17 Then Jacob3290 rose up,6965 and set5375 853 his sons1121 and his wives802 upon5921 camels;1581

18 Und führete weg5090 all sein Vieh4735 und alle seine Habe7399, die er in Mesopotamien6307 erworben hatte7408, daß er käme935 zu Isaak3327, seinem Vater1, ins Land776 Kanaan3667.

19 (Laban3837 aber war gegangen1980, seine Herde6629 zu scheren1494.) Und Rahel7354 stahl1589 ihres Vaters1 Götzen8655.

19 And Laban3837 went1980 to shear1494 853 his sheep:6629 and Rachel7354 had stolen1589 853 the images8655 that834 were her father's.1

20 Also stahl1589 Jakob3290 dem Laban3837 zu5921 Syrien761 das Herz3820 damit, daß er ihm nicht1097 ansagte5046, daß er floh1272.
|
20 And Jacob3290 stole away1589 853 unawares3820 to Laban3837 the Syrian,761 in that5921 he told5046 him not1097 that3588 he1931 fled.1272
|
|
21 Also floh1272 er und alles, was sein war, machte7760 sich auf6965 und fuhr5674 über das Wasser5104 und richtete sich nach dem Berge2022 Gilead1568.
|
21 So he1931 fled1272 with all3605 that834 he had; and he rose up,6965 and passed over5674 853 the river,5104 and set7760 853 his face6440 toward the mount2022 Gilead.1568

22 Am dritten7992 Tage3117 ward es Laban3837 angesagt5046, daß Jakob3290 flöhe.
|
22 And it was told5046 Laban3837 on the third7992 day3117 that3588 Jacob3290 was fled.1272
|
|
23 Und310 er nahm3947 seine Brüder251 zu sich1692 und3117 jagte ihm nach7291 sieben7651 Tagereisen und ereilete ihn auf dem1870 Berge2022 Gilead1568.
|
23 And he took3947 853 his brethren251 with5973 him, and pursued7291 after310 him seven7651 days'3117 journey;1870 and they overtook1692 him in the mount2022 Gilead.1568

24 Aber GOtt430 kam935 zu Laban3837, dem Syrer761, im Traum2472 des Nachts3915 und sprach559 zu ihm: Hüte dich8104, daß du mit5973 Jakob3290 nicht7451 anders5704 redest1696 denn freundlich2896!
|
24 And God430 came935 to413 Laban3837 the Syrian761 in a dream2472 by night,3915 and said559 unto him, Take heed8104 that6435 thou speak1696 not to5973 Jacob3290 either good4480 2896 or5704 bad.7451

|
25 Und Laban3837 nahete zu Jakob3290. Jakob3290 aber hatte seine Hütte168 aufgeschlagen8628 auf dem Berge2022; und Laban3837 mit seinen Brüdern251 schlug8628 seine Hütte auch auf auf dem Berge2022 Gilead1568.

25 Then Laban3837 overtook5381 853 Jacob.3290 Now Jacob3290 had pitched8628 853 his tent168 in the mount:2022 and Laban3837 with854 his brethren251 pitched8628 in the mount2022 of Gilead.1568

26 Da sprach559 Laban3837 zu Jakob3290: Was hast1589 du getan6213, daß5090 du mein Herz3824 gestohlen hast und hast meine Töchter1323 entführet, als die durchs Schwert2719 gefangen wären7617?

26 And Laban3837 said559 to Jacob,3290 What4100 hast thou done,6213 that thou hast stolen away1589 853 unawares3824 to me, and carried away5090 853 my daughters,1323 as captives7617 taken with the sword?2719

|
27 Warum bist du heimlich2244 geflohen1272 und hast1589 dich weggestohlen und hast mir‘s nicht angesagt5046, daß ich dich hätte geleitet7971 mit Freuden8057, mit Singen7892, mit Pauken8596 und Harfen3658?
|
27 Wherefore4100 didst thou flee away2244 secretly,1272 and steal away1589 from me; and didst not3808 tell5046 me, that I might have sent thee away7971 with mirth,8057 and with songs,7892 with tabret,8596 and with harp?3658
|
|
28 Und hast mich nicht lassen5203 meine Kinder1121 und Töchter1323 küssen5401? Nun6213, du hast törlich getan5528.
|
28 And hast not3808 suffered5203 me to kiss5401 my sons1121 and my daughters?1323 thou hast now6258 done foolishly5528 in so doing.6213

29 Und ich hätte3426 mit Gottes430 Hilfe wohl so viel Macht, daß ich euch3027 könnte Übels7451 tun6213; aber eures Vaters1 GOtt410 hat1696 gestern570 zu mir gesagt559: Hüte dich8104, daß du559 mit Jakob3290 nicht7451 anders denn freundlich2896 redest!

29 It is3426 in the power410 of my hand3027 to do6213 you hurt:7451 but the God430 of your father1 spoke559 unto413 me last night,570 saying,559 Take thou heed8104 that thou speak4480 1696 not to5973 Jacob3290 either good4480 2896 or5704 bad.7451

30 Und weil du denn ja wolltest1980 ziehen1980 und sehntest dich3700 so fast nach deines Vaters1 Hause1004, warum hast1589 du mir meine Götter430 gestohlen?

30 And now,6258 though thou wouldest needs be gone,1980 1980 because3588 thou sore longedst3700 3700 after thy father's1 house,1004 yet wherefore4100 hast thou stolen1589 853 my gods?430

31 Jakob3290 antwortete6030 und sprach559 zu Laban3837: Ich fürchtete3372 mich und dachte, du559 würdest deine Töchter1323 von, mir reißen1497.
|
31 And Jacob3290 answered6030 and said559 to Laban,3837 Because3588 I was afraid:3372 for3588 I said,559 Peradventure6435 thou wouldest take by force1497 853 thy daughters1323 from4480 5973 me.
|
|
32 Bei welchem aber du deine Götter430 findest4672, der sterbe2421 hie vor5048 unsern Brüdern251. Suche5234 das Deine bei mir und nimm‘s3947 hin. Jakob3290 wußte3045 aber nicht, daß834 sie Rahel7354 gestohlen hatte1589.

32 With5973 whomsoever834 thou findest4672 853 thy gods,430 let him not3808 live:2421 before5048 our brethren251 discern5234 thou what4100 is thine with5973 me, and take3947 it to thee. For Jacob3290 knew3045 not3808 that3588 Rachel7354 had stolen1589 them.

33 Da ging935 Laban3837 in die Hütte168 Jakobs3290 und Leas3812 und der beiden8147 Mägde519 und fand4672 nicht Und ging935 aus3318 der Hütte168 Leas3812 in die Hütte168 Rahels7354.
|
33 And Laban3837 went935 into Jacob's3290 tent,168 and into Leah's3812 tent,168 and into the two8147 maidservants'519 tents;168 but he found4672 them not.3808 Then went3318 he out of Leah's tent,4480 168 3812 and entered935 into Rachel's7354 tent.168

34 Da nahm3947 Rahel7354 die Götzen8655 und legte sie unter die Streu der Kamele1581 und setzte7760 sich3427 drauf. Laban3837 aber betastete4959 die ganze Hütte168 und fand4672 nichts.
|
34 Now Rachel7354 had taken3947 853 the images,8655 and put7760 them in the camel's1581 furniture,3733 and sat3427 upon5921 them. And Laban3837 searched4959 853 all3605 the tent,168 but found4672 them not.3808

35 Da sprach559 sie802 zu ihrem Vater1: Mein Herr113, zürne2734 nicht6965, denn ich kann3201 nicht aufstehen gegen dir5869; denn es gehet mir6440 nach der Frauen Weise1870. Also fand4672 er die Götzen8655 nicht wie fast er suchte2664.

35 And she said559 to413 her father,1 Let it not408 displease2734 5869 my lord113 that3588 I cannot3808 3201 rise up6965 before4480 6440 thee; for3588 the custom1870 of women802 is upon me. And he searched,2664 but found4672 not3808 853 the images.8655

36 Und3290 Jakob3290 ward2734 zornig und3837 schalt7378 Laban3837 und2403 sprach6030 zu ihm: Was habe ich mißgehandelt6588 oder gesündiget, daß du559 so auf mich erhitzt bist1814?
|
36 And Jacob3290 was wroth,2734 and chided7378 with Laban:3837 and Jacob3290 answered6030 and said559 to Laban,3837 What4100 is my trespass?6588 what4100 is my sin,2403 that3588 thou hast so hotly pursued1814 after310 me?

37 Du hast4672 allen1004 meinen251 Hausrat3627 betastet4959. Was hast3198 du deines Hausrats funden? Lege7760 das dar3541 vor meinen und deinen Brüdern251, daß3588 sie8147 zwischen996 uns beiden richten.
|
37 Whereas3588 thou hast searched4959 853 all3605 my stuff,3627 what4100 hast thou found4672 of all4480 3605 thy household1004 stuff?3627 set7760 it here3541 before5048 my brethren251 and thy brethren,251 that they may judge3198 between996 us both.8147

38 Diese zwanzig6242 Jahre8141 bin ich bei dir gewesen7921, deine Schafe7353 und Ziegen5795 sind nicht unfruchtbar gewesen; die Widder352 deiner Herde6629 habe ich nie gegessen398.

40 Des Tages3117 verschmachtete398 ich vor Hitze2721 und des Nachts3915 vor Frost7140, und kam5074 kein Schlaf8142 in meine Augen5869.

40 Thus I was;1961 in the day3117 the drought2721 consumed398 me, and the frost7140 by night;3915 and my sleep8142 departed5074 from mine eyes.4480 5869

41 Also habe5647 ich diese zwanzig6242 Jahre8141 in8141 deinem Hause1004 gedienet, vierzehn um deine Töchter1323 und sechs8337 um deine Herde6629, und hast mir8147 meinen Lohn4909 zehnmal6235 verändert2498.

42 Wo3884 nicht der GOtt430 meines Vaters1, der GOtt430 Abrahams, und85 die Furcht6343 Isaaks auf meiner Seite gewesen wäre, du hättest mich leer7387 lassen ziehen7971. Aber GOtt430 hat3198 mein Elend6040 und3327 Mühe3018 angesehen7200 und hat dich gestern570 gestraft.

42 Except3884 the God430 of my father,1 the God430 of Abraham,85 and the fear6343 of Isaac,3327 had been1961 with me, surely3588 thou hadst sent me away7971 now6258 empty.7387 God430 hath seen7200 853 mine affliction6040 and the labor3018 of my hands,3709 and rebuked3198 thee last night.570

43 Laban3837 antwortete6030 und sprach559 zu Jakob3290: Die Töchter1323 sind meine Töchter1323 und die Kinder1121 sind meine Kinder1121 und die Herden6629 sind meine Herden6629, und alles, was du siehest, ist7200 mein, was kann ich meinen Töchtern1323 heute3117 oder176 ihren Kindern1121 tun6213, die sie geboren3205 haben?

43 And Laban3837 answered6030 and said559 unto413 Jacob,3290 These daughters1323 are my daughters,1323 and these children1121 are my children,1121 and these cattle6629 are my cattle,6629 and all3605 that834 thou859 seest7200 is mine: and what4100 can I do6213 this day3117 unto these428 my daughters,1323 or176 unto their children1121 which834 they have born?3205

44 So komm3212 nun und laß uns einen Bund1285 machen3772, ich und du, der ein Zeugnis5707 sei zwischen mir und dir.

44 Now6258 therefore come1980 thou, let us make3772 a covenant,1285 I589 and thou;859 and let it be1961 for a witness5707 between996 me and thee.

45 Da nahm3947 Jakob3290 einen Stein68 und richtete ihn auf7311 zu einem Mal4676.
|
45 And Jacob3290 took3947 a stone,68 and set it up7311 for a pillar.4676
|
|
46 Und3290 sprach559 zu6213 seinen Brüdern251: Leset3950 Steine68 auf. Und sie nahmen3947 Steine68 und machten einen Haufen1530 und aßen398 auf demselben Haufen1530.
|
46 And Jacob3290 said559 unto his brethren,251 Gather3950 stones;68 and they took3947 stones,68 and made6213 an heap:1530 and they did eat398 there8033 upon5921 the heap.1530
|
|
47 Und Laban3837 hieß7121 ihn Jegar-Sahadutha3026; Jakob3290 aber hieß7121 ihn Gilead1567.
|
47 And Laban3837 called7121 it Jegar-sahadutha:3026 but Jacob3290 called7121 it Galeed.1567
|
|
48 Da sprach559 Laban3837: Der Haufe1530 sei heute3117 Zeuge5707 zwischen mir und dir (daher heißt8034 man7121 ihn Gilead1567)
|
48 And Laban3837 said,559 This2088 heap1530 is a witness5707 between996 me and thee this day.3117 Therefore5921 3651 was the name8034 of it called7121 Galeed;1567

|
49 und sei eine Warte4709, denn834 er376 sprach559: Der HErr3068 sehe darein6822 zwischen mir und dir, wenn wir voneinander kommen5641,

49 And Mizpah;4709 for834 he said,559 The LORD3068 watch6822 between996 me and thee, when3588 we are absent5641 one376 from another.4480 7453
|

50 wo du meine Töchter1323 beleidigest oder andere Weiber802 dazu nimmst über5921 meine Töchter1323. Es ist3947 hie kein Mensch376 mit uns; siehe7200 aber, GOtt430 ist der Zeuge5707 zwischen mir und dir.
|
50 If518 thou shalt afflict6031 853 my daughters,1323 or if518 thou shalt take3947 other wives802 beside5921 my daughters,1323 no369 man376 is with5973 us; see,7200 God430 is witness5707 between996 me and thee.
|
|
51 Und Laban3837 sprach559 weiter zu Jakob3290: Siehe, das ist der Haufe1530 und das ist das Mal4676, das ich aufgerichtet habe3384 zwischen mir und dir.
|
51 And Laban3837 said559 to Jacob,3290 Behold2009 this2088 heap,1530 and behold2009 this pillar,4676 which834 I have cast3384 between996 me and thee;
|
|
52 Derselbe Haufe1530 sei Zeuge5707, und das Mal4676 sei auch Zeuge5713, wo ich herüberfahre5674 zu dir, oder du herüberfährest zu mir über5674 diesen Haufen1530 und Mal4676, zu beschädigen7451.
|

53 Der GOtt430 Abrahams und85 der GOtt430 Nahors und5152 der GOtt430 ihrer Väter1 sei Richter8199 zwischen uns.
|
53 The God430 of Abraham,85 and the God430 of Nahor,5152 the God430 of their father,1 judge8199 between996 us. And Jacob3290 swore7650 by the fear6343 of his father1 Isaac.3327
|
|
54 Und Jakob3290 schwur ihm bei der Furcht seines Vaters Isaak. Und Jakob opferte2076 auf dem Berge2022 und lud seine Brüder251 zum Essen398. Und da sie7121 gegessen398 hatten, blieben sie auf dem Berge2022 über Nacht3885.

54 Then Jacob3290 offered2076 sacrifice2077 upon the mount,2022 and called7121 his brethren251 to eat398 bread:3899 and they did eat398 bread,3899 and tarried all night3885 in the mount.2022
