Kapitel 9

1 Und4390 GOtt430 segnete1288 Noah5146 und seine Söhne1121 und sprach559: Seid fruchtbar6509 und mehret7235 euch und erfüllet die Erde776!

2 Eure Furcht4172 und Schrecken2844 sei über alle Tiere2416 auf Erden776, über alle Vögel5775 unter dem Himmel8064 und über alles, was auf dem Erdboden127 kreucht7430; und alle Fische1709 im Meer3220 seien in eure Hände3027 gegeben5414.

3 Alles, was sich reget und lebet, das sei eure Speise402; wie das grüne3418 Kraut6212 habe ich‘s euch alles gegeben5414.

4 Allein389 esset398 das Fleisch1320 nicht, das noch lebet in seinem Blut1818.

5 Denn ich will auch389 eures Leibes5315 Blut1818 rächen1875 und will‘s an3027 allen Tieren5315 rächen1875; und will des Menschen120 Leben2416 rächen1875 an3027 einem jeglichen376 Menschen120, als der sein Bruder251 ist3027.

6 Wer Menschenblut120 vergeußt, des Blut1818 soll auch durch Menschen120 vergossen8210 werden; denn GOtt430 hat8210 den Menschen120 zu6213 seinem Bilde6754 gemacht.

7 Seid fruchtbar6509 und776 mehret7235 euch und reget euch auf Erden8317, daß euer viel7235 drauf werden.

8 Und559 GOtt430 sagte559 zu Noah5146 und seinen Söhnen1121 mit ihm:

9 Siehe, ich richte6965 mit euch310 einen Bund1285 auf und mit eurem Samen2233 nach euch

10 und mit allem lebendigen2416 Tier2416 bei euch, an Vögeln5775, an Vieh929 und an allen Tieren5315 auf Erden776 bei euch, von allem, das aus3318 dem Kasten8392 gegangen ist, was für Tiere2416 es sind auf Erden776.

11 Und richte6965 meinen Bund1285 also mit euch auf, daß hinfort nicht mehr alles Fleisch1320 verderbet soll werden3772 mit dem Wasser4325 der Sintflut3999, und soll hinfort keine Sintflut3999 mehr kommen, die die Erde776 verderbe7843.

12 Und GOtt430 sprach559: Das ist das Zeichen226 des Bundes1285, den ich589 gemacht habe5414 zwischen mir und euch5315 und allem lebendigen Tier2416 bei euch hinfort1755 ewiglich5769:

13 Meinen Bogen7198 habe ich gesetzt5414 in die Wolken6051, der soll das Zeichen226 sein des Bundes1285 zwischen mir und der Erde776.

14 Und wenn es kommt, daß ich Wolken6051 über die Erde776 führe6049, so soll7200 man meinen Bogen7198 sehen in den Wolken6051.

15 Alsdann will ich gedenken2142 an meinen Bund1285 zwischen mir und euch5315 und allem lebendigen Tier2416 in allerlei Fleisch1320, daß nicht5750 mehr hinfort eine Sintflut3999 komme, die4325 alles Fleisch1320 verderbe7843.

16 Darum soll mein Bogen7198 in den5315 Wolken6051 sein, daß ich ihn ansehe und gedenke2142 an7200 den ewigen5769 Bund1285 zwischen996 GOtt430 und allem lebendigen Tier2416 in allem Fleisch1320, das auf996 Erden776 ist.

17 Dasselbe sagte559 GOtt430 auch zu Noah5146: Dies sei das Zeichen226 des Bundes1285, den ich aufgerichtet habe6965 zwischen mir und allem Fleisch1320 auf Erden776.

18 Die Söhne1121 Noahs5146, die aus3318 dem Kasten8392 gingen, sind diese: Sem8035, Ham2526, Japheth3315. Ham aber ist1931 der Vater1 Kanaans3667.

19 Das sind die drei7969 Söhne1121 Noahs5146, von denen ist alles Land776 besetzt5310.

20 Noah5146 aber fing an2490 und ward ein Ackermann127 und pflanzte5193 Weinberge3754.

21 Und da er des Weins3196 trank8354, ward er trunken7937 und lag1540 in8432 der Hütte168 aufgedeckt.

22 Da nun Ham2526, Kanaans3667 Vater1, sah7200 seines Vaters1 Scham6172, sagte5046 er‘s seinen beiden8147 Brüdern251 draußen2351.

23 Da nahm3947 Sem8035 und Japheth3315 ein Kleid8071 und legten7760 es auf6440 ihre beiden Schultern7926 und gingen3212 rücklings322 hinzu und deckten3680 ihres Vaters1 Scham6172 zu; und ihr Angesicht war abgewandt, daß sie8147 ihres Vaters1 Scham6172 nicht sahen7200.

24 Als nun Noah5146 erwachte3364 von seinem Wein3196 und erfuhr3045, was ihm sein kleiner6996 Sohn1121 getan hatte6213,

25 sprach559 er: Verflucht779 sei Kanaan3667 und sei ein Knecht5650 aller Knechte5650 unter seinen Brüdern251!

26 Und sprach559 weiter: Gelobet sei1288 GOtt430, der HErr3068 des Sem8035; und Kanaan3667 sei sein1961 Knecht5650.

27 GOtt430 breite6601 Japheth3315 aus und lasse ihn wohnen7931 in den Hütten168 des Sem8035: und Kanaan3667 sei sein Knecht5650.

28 Noah5146 aber lebte2421 nach310 der Sintflut3999 dreihundertundfünfzig Jahre8141,

29 daß sein ganzes Alter3117 ward8141 neunhundertundfünfzig8672 Jahre8141, und5146 starb4191.

1 AND God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moves upon the earth, and all the fish of the sea; into your hand they are delivered.

3 Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

4 Only flesh with the life thereof, that is, the blood thereof, you shall not eat.

5 And surely your lifeblood will I f avenge; of every beast will I avenge it, and at the hand of man; and at the hand of a man and his brother will I avenge the life of man.

6 Whoever sheds the blood of men, by men shall his blood be shed; for man was made in the image of God.

7 As for you, be fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly on the earth, and multiply in it.

8 And God spoke to Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,

9 As for me, behold, I will establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you;

10 And with every living creature that is with you, the fowl, the cattle, and every wild beast of the earth with you; with all that come out of the ark, and with every beast of the earth.

11 And I will establish my covenant with you; so that never again shall all flesh perish by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

12 And God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:

13 I set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between me and the earth.

14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring clouds over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the clouds;

15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature that is with you of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

16 And the bow shall be in the clouds; and I will look upon it as a remembrance of the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

17 And God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between me and all the flesh that is upon the earth,

18 The sons of Noah who went forth out of the ark were Shem and Ham and Japheth; and Ham is the father of Canaan.

19 These three were the sons of Noah; and from them the people spread throughout the earth.

20 And Noah began to till the ground; and he planted a vineyard;

21 And he drank of its wine, and became drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.

22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and he told his two brothers outside.

23 And Shem and Japheth took a mantle and laid it upon both their shoulders and walked backward and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward and they did not see their father's nakedness.

24 When Noah awoke from his wine and knew what his younger son had done to him,

25 He said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be to his brothers.

26 Then he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and let Canaan be his servant.

27 God shall enrich Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem: and Canaan shall be their servant.

28 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.

29 And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years, and he died.

10 And with every living creature that is with you, the fowl, the cattle, and every wild beast of the earth with you; with all that come out of the ark, and with every beast of the earth.

11 Und richte6965 meinen Bund1285 also mit euch auf, daß hinfort nicht mehr alles Fleisch1320 verderbet soll werden3772 mit dem Wasser4325 der Sintflut3999, und soll hinfort keine Sintflut3999 mehr kommen, die die Erde776 verderbe7843.

11 And I will establish my covenant with you; so that never again shall all flesh perish by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

12 Und GOtt430 sprach559: Das ist das Zeichen226 des Bundes1285, den ich589 gemacht habe5414 zwischen mir und euch5315 und allem lebendigen Tier2416 bei euch hinfort1755 ewiglich5769:

12 And God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:

13 I set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between me and the earth.

14 Und wenn es kommt, daß ich Wolken6051 über die Erde776 führe6049, so soll7200 man meinen Bogen7198 sehen in den Wolken6051.

14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring clouds over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the clouds;

15 Alsdann will ich gedenken2142 an meinen Bund1285 zwischen mir und euch5315 und allem lebendigen Tier2416 in allerlei Fleisch1320, daß nicht5750 mehr hinfort eine Sintflut3999 komme, die4325 alles Fleisch1320 verderbe7843.

15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature that is with you of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

16 Darum soll mein Bogen7198 in den5315 Wolken6051 sein, daß ich ihn ansehe und gedenke2142 an7200 den ewigen5769 Bund1285 zwischen996 GOtt430 und allem lebendigen Tier2416 in allem Fleisch1320, das auf996 Erden776 ist.

16 And the bow shall be in the clouds; and I will look upon it as a remembrance of the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

17 Dasselbe sagte559 GOtt430 auch zu Noah5146: Dies sei das Zeichen226 des Bundes1285, den ich aufgerichtet habe6965 zwischen mir und allem Fleisch1320 auf Erden776.

17 And God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between me and all the flesh that is upon the earth,

18 Die Söhne1121 Noahs5146, die aus3318 dem Kasten8392 gingen, sind diese: Sem8035, Ham2526, Japheth3315. Ham aber ist1931 der Vater1 Kanaans3667.

18 The sons of Noah who went forth out of the ark were Shem and Ham and Japheth; and Ham is the father of Canaan.

19 These three were the sons of Noah; and from them the people spread throughout the earth.
