4 To the place4725 of the altar,4196 which834 he had made6213 there8033 at the first:7223 and there8033 Abram87 called7121 on the name8034 of the LORD.3068

4 eben an den Ort4725, da er87 vorhin den Altar4196 gemacht hatte6213. Und er predigte7121 allda den Namen8034 des HErrn3068.

5 And Lot3876 also,1571 which went1980 with Abram,87 had1961 flocks,6629 and herds,1241 and tents.168

5 Lot3876 aber, der mit854 Abram87 zog1980, der hatte auch Schafe6629 und Rinder1241 und Hütten168.

6 And the land776 was not able5375 to bear5375 them, that they might dwell3427 together:3162 for their substance7399 was great,7227 so that they could3201 not dwell3427 together.3162

6 Und das Land776 mochte es nicht ertragen5375, daß sie beieinander3162 wohneten; denn ihre Habe7399 war3427 groß7227, und konnten3201 nicht beieinander3162 wohnen3427.

7 And there was a strife7379 between996 the herdsmen7462 of Abram's87 cattle4735 and the herdsmen7462 of Lot's3876 cattle:4735 and the Canaanite3669 and the Perizzite6522 dwelled3427 then227 in the land.776

7 Und war3427 immer Zank7379 zwischen den Hirten7462 über Abrams87 Vieh4735 und zwischen den Hirten7462 über Lots3876 Vieh4735. So wohneten auch zu der Zeit die Kanaaniter3669 und Pheresiter6522 im Lande776.

8 And Abram87 said559 to Lot,3876 Let there be no408 strife,4808 I pray4994 you, between996 me and you, and between996 my herdsmen7462 and your herdsmen;7462 for we be brothers.251

8 Da sprach559 Abram87 zu Lot3876: Lieber, laß nicht408 Zank4808 sein1961 zwischen mir und dir und zwischen meinen7462 und deinen Hirten7462; denn wir582 sind Gebrüder251.

9 Is not the whole3605 land776 before6440 you? separate6504 yourself, I pray4994 you, from me: if518 you will take the left8040 hand,8041 then I will go to the right;3231 or if518 you depart to the right3225 hand,3225 then I will go to the left.8041

9 Stehet dir nicht alles Land776 offen? Lieber, scheide6504 dich von mir6440! Willst du zur Linken8040, so will ich zur Rechten3231; oder willst du zur Rechten3225, so will ich zur Linken8041.

10 And Lot3876 lifted5375 up his eyes,5869 and beheld7200 all3605 the plain3603 of Jordan,3383 that it was well watered4945 every3605 where, before6440 the LORD3068 destroyed7843 Sodom5467 and Gomorrah,6017 even as the garden1588 of the LORD,3068 like the land776 of Egypt,4714 as you come935 to Zoar.6820

10 Da hub Lot3876 seine Augen5869 auf5375 und7843 besah7200 die ganze Gegend3603 am Jordan3383. Denn ehe der HErr3068 Sodoma und Gomorrha verderbete, war sie6440 wasserreich4945, bis man gen Zoar6820 kommt935, als ein Garten1588 des HErrn3068, gleichwie Ägyptenland776.

11 Then Lot3876 chose977 him all3605 the plain3603 of Jordan;3383 and Lot3876 journeyed5265 east:6924 and they separated6504 themselves the one376 from the other.251

11 Da erwählete ihm Lot3876 die ganze Gegend3603 am Jordan3383 und zog5265 gegen Morgen6924. Also schied6504 sich ein376 Bruder251 von dem andern,

12 Abram87 dwelled3427 in the land776 of Canaan,3667 and Lot3876 dwelled3427 in the cities5892 of the plain,3603 and pitched167 his tent167 toward5704 Sodom.5467

12 daß Abram87 wohnete im Lande776 Kanaan3667 und5704 Lot3876 in den Städten5892 der selben Gegend3603; und setzte seine Hütten gen Sodom5467.
|
|
13 But the men582 of Sodom5467 were wicked7451 and sinners2400 before the LORD3068 exceedingly.3966
|
13 Aber die Leute582 zu Sodom5467 waren böse7451 und sündigten2400 sehr3966 wider den HErrn3068.
|
|
14 And the LORD3068 said559 to Abram,87 after310 that Lot3876 was separated6504 from him, Lift5375 up now your eyes,5869 and look7200 from the place4725 where834 8033 you are northward,6828 and southward,5045 and eastward,6924 and westward:3220
|
14 Da310 nun Lot3876 sich von Abram87 geschieden hatte6504, sprach559 der HErr3068 zu Abram: Hebe5375 deine Augen5869 auf und siehe von der Stätte4725 an7200, da du wohnest, gegen Mitternacht6828, gegen den Mittag5045, gegen den Morgen6924 und gegen den Abend3220.

15 For all3605 the land776 which834 you see,7200 to you will I give5414 it, and to your seed2233 for ever.5769

15 Denn alle das Land776, das du siehest, will7200 ich dir geben5414 und deinem Samen2233 ewiglich5704.

16 And I will make7760 your seed2233 as the dust6083 of the earth:776 so834 that if518 a man376 can3201 number4487 the dust6083 of the earth,776 then shall your seed2233 also1571 be numbered.4487
|
16 Und will deinen Samen2233 machen7760 wie834 den Staub6083 auf Erden776. Kann3201 ein376 Mensch den Staub6083 auf Erden776 zählen4487, der wird auch deinen Samen2233 zählen4487
|
|
17 Arise,6965 walk1980 through the land776 in the length753 of it and in the breadth7341 of it; for I will give5414 it to you.

17 Darum so mach dich auf6965 und zeuch durch das Land776 in die Länge753 und Breite7341; denn dir will1980 ich‘s geben5414.
|
|
18 Then Abram87 removed167 his tent,167 and came935 and dwelled3427 in the plain436 of Mamre,4471 which is in Hebron,2275 and built1129 there8033 an altar4196 to the LORD.3068

18 Also erhub Abram87 seine Hütten, kam935 und1129 wohnete im Hain436 Mamre4471; der zu Hebron2275 ist, und bauete daselbst dem HErrn3068 einen Altar4196.
