1 And the chief7218 fathers1 of the families4940 of the children1121 of Gilead,1568 the son1121 of Machir,4353 the son1121 of Manasseh,4519 of the families4940 of the sons1121 of Joseph,3130 came7126 near,5066 and spoke1696 before6440 Moses,4872 and before6440 the princes,5387 the chief7218 fathers1 of the children1121 of Israel:3478

2 And they said,559 The LORD3068 commanded6680 my lord113 to give5414 the land776 for an inheritance5159 by lot1486 to the children1121 of Israel:3478 and my lord113 was commanded6680 by the LORD3068 to give5414 the inheritance5159 of Zelophehad6765 our brother251 to his daughters.1323

3 And if they be married802 to any259 of the sons1121 of the other259 tribes7626 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 then shall their inheritance5159 be taken1639 from the inheritance5159 of our fathers,1 and shall be put3254 to the inheritance5159 of the tribe4294 whereunto they are received:1961 so shall it be taken1639 from the lot1486 of our inheritance.5159

4 And when518 the jubilee3104 of the children1121 of Israel3478 shall be, then shall their inheritance5159 be put3254 to the inheritance5159 of the tribe4294 whereunto834 they are received:1961 so shall their inheritance5159 be taken1639 away from the inheritance5159 of the tribe4294 of our fathers.1

5 And Moses4872 commanded6680 the children1121 of Israel3478 according5921 to the word6310 of the LORD,3068 saying,559 The tribe4294 of the sons1121 of Joseph3130 has said1696 well.3651

6 This2088 is the thing1697 which834 the LORD3068 does command6680 concerning the daughters1323 of Zelophehad,6765 saying,559 Let them marry802 to whom they think5869 best;2896 only389 to the family4940 of the tribe4294 of their father1 shall they marry.802

7 So shall not the inheritance5159 of the children1121 of Israel3478 remove5437 from tribe4294 to tribe:4294 for every376 one376 of the children1121 of Israel3478 shall keep1692 himself to the inheritance5159 of the tribe4294 of his fathers.1

8 And every3605 daughter,1323 that possesses3423 an inheritance5159 in any tribe4294 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 shall be wife802 to one259 of the family4940 of the tribe4294 of her father,1 that the children1121 of Israel3478 may enjoy3423 every man376 the inheritance5159 of his fathers.1

9 Neither3808 shall the inheritance5159 remove5437 from one tribe4294 to another312 tribe;4294 but every376 one376 of the tribes4294 of the children1121 of Israel3478 shall keep1692 himself to his own inheritance.5159

10 Even as the LORD3068 commanded6680 Moses,4872 so3651 did6213 the daughters1323 of Zelophehad:6765

11 For Mahlah,4244 Tirzah,8656 and Hoglah,2295 and Milcah,4435 and Noah,5270 the daughters1323 of Zelophehad,6765 were married802 to their father's1730 brothers'1730 sons:1121

12 And they were married802 into the families4940 of the sons1121 of Manasseh4519 the son1121 of Joseph,3130 and their inheritance5159 remained1961 in the tribe4294 of the family4940 of their father.1

13 These428 are the commandments4687 and the judgments,4941 which834 the LORD3068 commanded6680 by the hand3027 of Moses4872 to the children1121 of Israel3478 in the plains6160 of Moab4124 by Jordan3383 near Jericho.3405

2 Они сказали: — Повелев нашему господину раздать по жребию землю в удел израильтянам, Господь велел тебе отдать удел нашего сородича Целофхада его дочерям.

3 Но если они выйдут замуж в другие израильские роды, их надел будет взят из надела наших отцов и присоединен к наделу рода, в котором они будут женами. Таким образом, часть надела, который достался нам, будет отнята.

4 Когда у израильтян настанет юбилейный год, эта часть будет также присоединена к наделу рода, в котором они будут женами, и их надел будет взят из родового надела наших отцов.

5 Тогда по слову Господа Моисей дал израильтянам повеление: — Сказанное родом потомков Иосифа, верно.

6 Господь повелевает о дочерях Целофхада: они могут выходить замуж за кого хотят, но только внутри клана, который принадлежит к роду их отцов.

7 Наделы в Израиле не должны переходить от одного рода к другому. Пусть каждый израильтянин держит родовой надел, полученный от отцов.

8 Пусть дочери, которые владеют наделом в каждом израильском роду, выходят замуж внутри клана, который принадлежит к роду их отцов, чтобы израильтяне владели наделами своих отцов.

9 Надел не должен переходить из рода в род. Пусть все израильские роды держат ту землю, которую получили в удел.
