1 耶和華有命、使馬拉基普告以色列族云、
|
|
2 I have loved157 you, saith559 the LORD.3068 Yet ye say,559 Wherein4100 hast thou loved157 us? Was not3808 Esau6215 Jacob's3290 brother?251 saith5002 the LORD:3068 yet I loved157 853 Jacob,3290

2 耶和華曰、我眷愛爾、爾曰、眷愛余躬、何以爲徵、耶和華曰、以掃爲雅各之兄、我愛雅各、
|
|
3 And I hated8130 Esau,6215 and laid7760 853 his mountains2022 and his heritage5159 waste8077 for the dragons8568 of the wilderness.4057
|
3 不愛以掃、使其山荒蕪、爲野犬薮穴、
|
|
4 Whereas3588 Edom123 saith,559 We are impoverished,7567 but we will return7725 and build1129 the desolate places;2723 thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 They1992 shall build,1129 but I589 will throw down;2040 and they shall call7121 them, The border1366 of wickedness,7564 and, The people5971 against whom834 the LORD3068 hath indignation2194 forever.5704 5769

4 以東曰、予雖貧乏、倾圮之宅、必復建造、萬有之主耶和華曰、彼雖興版築、必爲我所毀、人稱之爲惡土、耶和華震怒斯民、恒久不已、

5 And your eyes5869 shall see,7200 and ye859 shall say,559 The LORD3068 will be magnified1431 from4480 5921 the border1366 of Israel.3478
|
5 惟爾處於以色列族之境、目覩此事、必曰、願耶和華永獲揄揚、
|
|
6 A son1121 honoreth3513 his father,1 and a servant5650 his master:113 if518 then I589 be a father,1 where346 is mine honor?3519 and if518 I589 be a master,113 where346 is my fear?4172 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts6635 unto you, O priests,3548 that despise959 my name.8034 And ye say,559 Wherein4100 have we despised959 853 thy name?8034

6 萬有之主耶和華、告侮慢之祭司曰、子敬父、僕敬主、我旣爲父、爾奚不敬、我旣爲主、爾奚不畏、乃爾曰、何嘗侮爾哉、

7 Ye offer5066 polluted1351 bread3899 upon5921 mine altar;4196 and ye say,559 Wherein4100 have we polluted1351 thee? In that ye say,559 The table7979 of the LORD3068 is contemptible.959

7 爾以不潔之餅、奉於我壇、以我耶和華之儿、爲可藐視、猶言曰、何嘗凌辱爾乎、
|
|
8 And if3588 ye offer5066 the blind5787 for sacrifice,2076 is it not369 evil?7451 and if3588 ye offer5066 the lame6455 and sick,2470 is it not369 evil?7451 offer7126 it now4994 unto thy governor;6346 will he be pleased7521 with thee, or176 accept5375 thy person?6440 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635

8 萬有之主耶和華曰、爾欲奉祭、以瞽跛廢疾之牲獻之、豈得爲善乎、試獻於牧伯、彼豈納之、以爾爲悅、

9 And now,6258 I pray you,4994 beseech2470 God410 that he will be gracious2603 unto us: this2063 hath been1961 by your means:4480 3027 will he regard5375 your4480 persons?6440 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635

9 萬有之主耶和華曰、獻此薄祭、繫爾之故、今雖呼顯於上、望我矜憫、我豈以爾爲悅、
|
|
10 Who4310 is there even1571 among you that would shut5462 the doors1817 for naught? neither3808 do ye kindle215 fire on mine altar4196 for naught.2600 I have no369 pleasure2656 in you, saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 neither3808 will I accept7521 an offering4503 at your hand.4480 3027

10 萬有之主耶和華曰、爾中有誰、閉我殿門、燃火於我壇、而肯徒爲之乎、故我不以爾爲悅、不納爾禮物、

|
11 For3588 from the rising4480 4217 of the sun8121 even unto5704 the going down3996 of the same my name8034 shall be great1419 among the Gentiles;1471 and in every3605 place4725 incense6999 shall be offered5066 unto my name,8034 and a pure2889 offering:4503 for3588 my name8034 shall be great1419 among the heathen,1471 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635

11 萬有之主耶和華曰、自日出之所、至日入之鄕、列邦之人、將尊我名、隨在焚香、奉獻祭品、惟潔是務、我之聲名、必爲列邦之人所尊焉、
|
|
12 But ye859 have profaned2490 it, in that ye say,559 The table7979 of the LORD136 is polluted;1351 and the fruit5108 thereof, even his meat,400 is contemptible.959
|
12 惟爾屢言耶和華之几、已玷厥污、其饌菲薄、則瀆我名、
|
|
13 Ye said559 also, Behold,2009 what a weariness4972 8513 is it! and ye have snuffed at5301 it, saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 and ye brought935 that which was torn,1497 and the lame,6455 and the sick;2470 thus ye brought935 853 an offering:4503 should I accept7521 this of your hand?4480 3027 saith559 the LORD.3068

13 萬有之主耶和華曰、爾曰、供饌徒勞、何益之有、遂以跛疾斷傷之牲、獻之爲祭、我耶和華豈悅納爾哉、
|
|
14 But cursed779 be the deceiver,5230 which hath3426 in his flock5739 a male,2145 and voweth,5087 and sacrificeth2076 unto the Lord136 a corrupt thing:7843 for3588 I589 am a great1419 King,4428 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 and my name8034 is dreadful3372 among the heathen.1471

14 萬有之主耶和華曰、我乃大君、列邦之人、必尊我名、浸假有偽善之人、羣中尚有純全之牡羊、乃取其體不全者、獻我爲祭、以輸其願、禍不遠矣。
