1 Alle Gebote4687, die ich dir heute3117 gebiete6680, sollt8104 ihr935 halten, daß ihr danach tut6213, auf daß ihr lebet und gemehret werdet7235 und einkommet und einnehmet3423 das Land776, das der HErr3068 euren Vätern1 geschworen7650 hat.

2 And thou shalt remember2142 853 all3605 the way1870 which834 the LORD3068 thy God430 led1980 thee these2088 forty705 years8141 in the wilderness,4057 to4616 humble6031 thee, and to prove5254 thee, to know3045 853 what834 was in thine heart,3824 whether thou wouldest keep8104 his commandments,4687 or518 not.3808

2 Und gedenkest2142 all des Weges1870, durch den dich6031 der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, geleitet hat3045 diese vierzig705 Jahre8141 in der Wüste4057, auf daß er dich8104 demütigte und versuchte5254, daß kund würde, was in deinem Herzen3824 wäre, ob du seine Gebote4687 halten3212 würdest oder nicht.

3 And he humbled6031 thee, and suffered thee to hunger,7456 and fed398 thee with854 manna,4478 which834 thou knewest3045 not,3808 neither3808 did thy fathers1 know;3045 that4616 he might make thee know3045 that3588 man120 doth not3808 live2421 by5921 bread3899 only,905 but3588 by5921 every3605 word that proceedeth out4161 of the mouth6310 of the LORD3068 doth man120 live.2421

3 Er2421 demütigte dich6031 und ließ dich hungern7456, und speisete dich mit Man4478, das du3045 und deine Väter1 nie erkannt3045 hattest, auf daß er dir kundtäte, daß der120 Mensch120 nicht3045 lebe2421 vom Brot3899 allein905, sondern398 von allem, das aus4161 dem Munde6310 des HErrn3068 gehet.

4 Thy raiment8071 waxed not old1086 3808 upon4480 5921 thee, neither3808 did thy foot7272 swell,1216 these2088 forty705 years.8141

4 Deine Kleider8071 sind nicht veraltet1086 an dir, und deine Füße7272 sind nicht geschwollen1216 diese vierzig705 Jahre8141.

5 Thou shalt also consider3045 in5973 thine heart,3824 that,3588 as834 a man376 chasteneth3256 853 his son,1121 so the LORD3068 thy God430 chasteneth3256 thee.

5 So erkennest3045 du ja in5973 deinem Herzen3824, daß der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, dich3256 gezogen3256 hat, wie ein Mann376 seinen Sohn1121 zeucht.

6 Therefore thou shalt keep8104 853 the commandments4687 of the LORD3068 thy God,430 to walk1980 in his ways,1870 and to fear3372 him.
|
6 So halte8104 nun die Gebote4687 des HErrn3068, deines Gottes430, daß du in seinen Wegen1870 wandelst3212 und fürchtest3372 ihn.

7 For3588 the LORD3068 thy God430 bringeth935 thee into413 a good2896 land,776 a land776 of brooks5158 of water,4325 of fountains5869 and depths8415 that spring out3318 of valleys1237 and hills;2022

7 Denn der HErr3068, dein GOtt430, führet dich in ein gut2896 Land776, ein Land776, da Bäche5158 und Brunnen5869 und Seen8415 innen sind935, die4325 an den Bergen2022 und in den Auen1237 fließen3318;

8 A land776 of wheat,2406 and barley,8184 and vines,1612 and fig trees,8384 and pomegranates;7416 a land776 of oil8081 olive,2132 and honey;1706

8 ein Land776, da Weizen2406, Gerste8184, Weinstöcke1612, Feigenbäume8384 und Granatäpfel7416 innen sind; ein Land776, da Ölbäume8081 und Honig1706 innen wächset;

9 A land776 wherein834 thou shalt eat398 bread3899 without3808 scarceness,4544 thou shalt not3808 lack2637 any3605 thing in it; a land776 whose834 stones68 are iron,1270 and out of whose hills4480 2042 thou mayest dig2672 brass.5178

9 ein Land776, da834 du Brot3899 genug zu essen398 hast, da auch nichts3808 mangelt2637; ein Land776, dessen Steine68 Eisen1270 sind, da du Erz5178 aus2672 den Bergen2042 hauest.

10 When thou hast eaten398 and art full,7646 then thou shalt bless1288 853 the LORD3068 thy God430 for5921 the good2896 land776 which834 he hath given5414 thee.
|
10 Und wenn du1288 gegessen398 hast und satt bist7646, daß du den HErrn3068, deinen GOtt430, lobest für das gute2896 Land776, das er dir gegeben5414 hat!
|
|
11 Beware8104 that thou forget not6435 7911 853 the LORD3068 thy God,430 in not1115 keeping8104 his commandments,4687 and his judgments,4941 and his statutes,2708 which834 I595 command6680 thee this day: 3117
|
11 So hüte dich8104 nun, daß du des HErrn3068, deines Gottes430, nicht vergessest7911 damit, daß du seine Gebote4687 und seine Gesetze2708 und Rechte4941, die ich dir heute3117 gebiete6680, nicht haltest8104;
|

12 Lest6435 when thou hast eaten398 and art full,7646 and hast built1129 goodly2896 houses,1004 and dwelt3427 therein;

12 daß, wenn du nun gegessen398 hast1129 und satt bist7646 und schöne2896 Häuser1004 erbauest und drinnen wohnest3427,
|
|
13 And when thy herds1241 and thy flocks6629 multiply,7235 and thy silver3701 and thy gold2091 is multiplied,7235 and all3605 that834 thou hast is multiplied;7235

13 und deine Rinder1241 und Schafe6629 und Silber3701 und Gold2091 und alles7235, was du hast, sich mehret7235,

14 Then thine heart3824 be lifted up,7311 and thou forget7911 853 the LORD3068 thy God,430 which brought thee forth3318 out of the land4480 776 of Egypt,4714 from the house4480 1004 of bondage;5650

14 daß dann dein Herz3824 sich nicht erhebe7311, und5650 vergessest7911 des HErrn3068, deines Gottes430, der dich aus3318 Ägyptenland776 geführet hat, aus dem Diensthause1004,
|

15 Who led1980 thee through that great1419 and terrible3372 wilderness,4057 wherein were fiery8314 serpents,5175 and scorpions,6137 and drought,6774 where834 there was no369 water;4325 who brought thee forth3318 water4325 out of the rock4480 6697 of flint;2496

15 und hat dich geleitet durch die große1419 und grausame3372 Wüste4057, da feurige8314 Schlangen5175 und Skorpione6137 und eitel Dürre6774 und kein Wasser4325 war, und ließ dir Wasser4325 aus3318 dem harten2496 Felsen6697 gehen3212,

16 Who fed398 thee in the wilderness4057 with manna,4478 which834 thy fathers1 knew3045 not,3808 that4616 he might humble6031 thee, and that4616 he might prove5254 thee, to do thee good3190 at thy latter end;319

16 und speisete dich6031 mit Man4478 in der Wüste4057, von welchem deine Väter1 nichts gewußt3045 haben398, auf daß er dich demütigte und versuchte5254, daß er dir3190 hernach319 wohltäte.

17 And thou say559 in thine heart,3824 My power3581 and the might6108 of mine hand3027 hath gotten6213 me853 this2088 wealth.2428
|
17 Du möchtest sonst sagen559 in deinem Herzen3824: Meine Kräfte und6213 meiner Hände3027 Stärke6108 haben mir dies Vermögen3581 ausgerichtet;
|
|
18 But thou shalt remember2142 853 the LORD3068 thy God:430 for3588 it is he1931 that giveth5414 thee power3581 to get6213 wealth,2428 that4616 he may establish6965 853 his covenant1285 which834 he swore7650 unto thy fathers,1 as it is this2088 day.3117
|
18 sondern daß du gedächtest an2142 den HErrn3068, deinen GOtt430; denn er ist‘s, der dir Kräfte3581 gibt, solch mächtige Taten5414 zu tun6213, auf6965 daß er hielte seinen Bund1285, den er deinen Vätern1 geschworen7650 hat, wie es gehet heutigestages3117.

19 And it shall be,1961 if518 thou do at all forget7911 7911 853 the LORD3068 thy God,430 and walk1980 after310 other312 gods,430 and serve5647 them, and worship7812 them, I testify5749 against you this day3117 that3588 ye shall surely perish.6 6

19 Wirst5647 du aber des HErrn3068, deines Gottes430, vergessen7911 und310 andern312 Göttern nachfolgen und430 ihnen dienen und sie anbeten7812, so bezeuge5749 ich heute3117 über euch1980, daß ihr6 umkommen6 werdet;

|
20 As the nations1471 which834 the LORD3068 destroyeth6 before your face,4480 6440 so3651 shall ye perish;6 because6118 ye would not3808 be obedient8085 unto the voice6963 of the LORD3068 your God.430
|
20 eben wie die Heiden1471, die der HErr3068 umbringet vor6440 eurem Angesicht, so werdet8085 ihr6 auch umkommen6, darum daß6118 ihr nicht gehorsam seid der Stimme6963 des HErrn3068, eures Gottes430.
