1 Die zween Engel4397 kamen935 gen Sodom5467 des Abends6153. Lot3876 aber saß3427 zu Sodom5467 unter dem Tor8179. Und da er sie sah7200, stund er auf6965 ihnen8147 entgegen7125 und bückte sich7812 mit seinem Angesicht639 auf die Erde776

2 And he said,559 Behold2009 now,4994 my lords,113 turn in,5493 I pray you,4994 into413 your servant's5650 house,1004 and tarry all night,3885 and wash7364 your feet,7272 and ye shall rise up early,7925 and go1980 on your ways.1870 And they said,559 Nay;3808 but3588 we will abide in the street all night.3885 7339

2 und5650 sprach559: Siehe, HErr113, kehret doch ein5493 zum Hause1004 eures Knechts und1980 bleibet über Nacht3885; lasset eure Füße7272 waschen7364, so stehet ihr morgens frühe auf7925 und ziehet eure Straße1870. Aber sie sprachen559: Nein, sondern wir wollen über Nacht3885 auf der Gasse7339 bleiben3885.

3 And he pressed6484 upon them greatly;3966 and they turned in5493 unto413 him, and entered935 into413 his house;1004 and he made6213 them a feast,4960 and did bake644 unleavened bread,4682 and they did eat.398

3 Da nötigte6484 er sie fast; und sie kehrten zu3966 ihm ein5493 und kamen935 in sein Haus1004. Und er machte6213 ihnen ein Mahl4960 und buk644 ungesäuerte4682 Kuchen; und sie aßen398.

4 But before2962 they lay down,7901 the men376 of the city,5892 even the men376 of Sodom,5467 compassed5437 5921 the house1004 round, both old2205 and young,4480 5288 all3605 the people5971 from every quarter:4480 7097

4 Aber ehe sie582 sich5437 legten7901, kamen die Leute582 der Stadt5892 Sodom5467 und umgaben5437 das Haus1004, jung5288 und alt2205, das ganze Volk5971 aus allen Enden7097,

5 And they called7121 unto413 Lot,3876 and said559 unto him, Where346 are the men376 which834 came in935 to413 thee this night?3915 bring them out3318 unto413 us, that we may know3045 them.

5 und forderten7121 Lot3876 und sprachen559 zu ihm: Wo sind935 die Männer, die zu dir kommen3318 sind diese Nacht3915? Führe sie heraus zu uns, daß wir582 sie erkennen3045.

6 And Lot3876 went out3318 at the door6607 unto413 them, and shut5462 the door1817 after310 him,

6 Lot3876 ging3318 heraus zu5462 ihnen vor die Tür6607 und schloß die Tür1817 hinter310 ihm zu

7 And said,559 I pray you,4994 brethren,251 do not so wickedly.7489 408

7 und sprach559: Ach, lieben Brüder251, tut nicht so übel7489!
|
|
8 Behold2009 now,4994 I have two8147 daughters1323 which834 have not3808 known3045 man;376 let me, I pray you,4994 bring them out3318 853 unto413 you, and do6213 ye to them as is good2896 in your eyes:5869 only7535 unto these411 men376 do6213 nothing;408 1697 for3588 therefore5921 3651 came935 they under the shadow6738 of my roof.6982

8 Siehe, ich habe6213 zwo Töchter1323, die411 haben3045 noch keinen Mann376 erkannt; die will935 ich herausgeben3318 unter euch5869, und tut6213 mit ihnen8147, was euch gefällt2896; alleine diesen Männern582 tut nichts1697, denn darum sind sie unter die Schatten6738 meines Dachs eingegangen.

9 And they said,559 Stand5066 back.1973 And they said559 again, This one259 fellow came in935 to sojourn,1481 and he will needs be a judge:8199 8199 now6258 will we deal worse7489 with thee, than4480 with them. And they pressed6484 sore3966 upon the man,376 even Lot,3876 and came near5066 to break7665 the door.1817

9 Sie5066 aber sprachen559: Komm hieher! Da sprachen559 sie5066: Du bist der259 einige Fremdling1481 hie und935 willst8199 regieren? Wohlan, wir wollen dich baß plagen7489 denn jene! Und sie drangen6484 hart3966 auf1973 den Mann376 Lot3876. Und da sie hinzuliefen und wollten die Tür1817 aufbrechen7665,

10 But the men376 put forth7971 853 their hand,3027 and pulled935 853 Lot3876 into the house1004 to413 them, and shut to5462 the door.1817
|
10 griffen7971 die Männer582 hinaus und zogen935 Lot3876 hinein zu5462 ihnen3027 ins Haus1004 und schlossen die Tür1817 zu.

11 And they smote5221 the men376 that834 were at the door6607 of the house1004 with blindness,5575 both small4480 6996 and great:1419 so that they wearied themselves3811 to find4672 the door.6607

11 Und die Männer582 vor der Tür6607 am Hause1004 wurden5221 mit Blindheit5575 geschlagen, beide klein6996 und groß1419, bis sie müde3811 wurden und die Tür6607 nicht finden konnten4672.

12 And the men376 said559 unto413 Lot,3876 Hast thou here6311 any4310 besides5750 a son-in-law,2860 and thy sons,1121 and thy daughters?1323 and whatsoever3605 834 thou hast in the city,5892 bring3318 them out of4480 this place: 4725
|
12 Und die834 Männer582 sprachen559 zu Lot3876: Hast du noch irgend hie einen Eidam2860 und Söhne1121 und Töchter1323, und wer4310 dir angehöret in der Stadt5892, den führe aus3318 dieser Stätte4725.

13 For3588 we587 will destroy7843 853 this2088 place,4725 because3588 the cry6818 of them is waxen great1431 853 before the face6440 of the LORD;3068 and the LORD3068 hath sent7971 us to destroy7843 it.
|
13 Denn wir587 werden diese Stätte4725 verderben7843, darum daß ihr Geschrei6818 groß ist1431 vor854 dem HErrn3068; der hat uns gesandt7971, sie6440 zu verderben7843.
|
|
14 And Lot3876 went out,3318 and spoke1696 unto413 his sons-in-law,2860 which married3947 his daughters,1323 and said,559 Up,6965 get you out3318 of4480 this2088 place;4725 for3588 the LORD3068 will destroy7843 853 this city.5892 But he seemed1961 as one that mocked6711 unto5869 his sons-in-law.2860

14 Da ging3318 Lot3876 hinaus und559 redete1696 mit seinen Eidamen2860, die seine Töchter1323 nehmen3947 sollten: Machet euch auf6965 und gehet aus3318 diesem Ort4725; denn der HErr3068 wird diese Stadt5892 verderben7843. Aber es war ihnen5869 lächerlich6711.

15 And when3644 the morning7837 arose,5927 then the angels4397 hastened213 Lot,3876 saying,559 Arise,6965 take3947 853 thy wife,802 and thy two8147 daughters,1323 which are here;4672 lest6435 thou be consumed5595 in the iniquity5771 of the city.5892

15 Da nun3644 die Morgenröte7837 aufging, hießen die Engel4397 den Lot3876 eilen und sprachen559: Mache dich auf5927, nimm3947 dein Weib802 und deine zwo Töchter1323, die vorhanden sind4672, daß du nicht213 auch umkommest in der Missetat5771 dieser Stadt5892.

16 And while he lingered,4102 the men376 laid hold2388 upon his hand,3027 and upon the hand3027 of his wife,802 and upon the hand3027 of his two8147 daughters;1323 the LORD3068 being merciful2551 unto5921 him: and they brought him forth,3318 and set5117 him without4480 2351 the city.5892

16 Da er aber verzog4102, ergriffen2388 die Männer582 ihn3027 und sein Weib802 und seine8147 zwo Töchter1323 bei der Hand3027, darum daß der HErr3068 sein verschonete, und führten3318 ihn3027 hinaus und ließen ihn3240 außen vor2351 der Stadt5892.

17 And it came to pass,1961 when they had brought them forth3318 853 abroad,2351 that he said,559 Escape4422 for5921 thy life;5315 look5027 not408 behind310 thee, neither408 stay5975 thou in all3605 the plain;3603 escape4422 to the mountain,2022 lest6435 thou be consumed.5595

17 Und5975 als310 sie ihn hatten hinausgebracht3318, sprach559 er: Errette4422 deine See LE5315 und sieh5027 nicht hinter dich; auch stehe nicht in dieser ganzen Gegend3603. Auf5921 dem Berge2022 errette4422 dich, daß du nicht umkommest.

18 And Lot3876 said559 unto413 them, Oh,4994 not408 so, my Lord: 136
|
18 Aber Lot3876 sprach559 zu ihnen: Ach nein, HErr113!
|
|
19 Behold2009 now,4994 thy servant5650 hath found4672 grace2580 in thy sight,5869 and thou hast magnified1431 thy mercy,2617 which834 thou hast showed6213 unto5973 me in saving2421 853 my life;5315 and I595 cannot3808 3201 escape4422 to the mountain,2022 lest6435 some evil7451 take1692 me, and I die: 4191

19 Siehe, dieweil dein Knecht5650 Gnade2580 funden hat vor deinen Augen5869, so wollest du deine Barmherzigkeit2617 groß machen1431, die du an1692 mir5978 getan6213 hast, daß du meine See LE5315 bei dem Leben erhieltest. Ich kann3201 mich2421 nicht auf dem Berge2022 erretten4422; es möchte4672 mich ein Unfall7451 ankommen, daß ich stürbe4191.

20 Behold2009 now,4994 this2063 city5892 is near7138 to flee5127 unto,8033 and it1931 is a little one:4705 Oh,4994 let me escape4422 thither,8033 (is it1931 not3808 a little one?)4705 and my soul5315 shall live.2421

20 Siehe, da ist1931 eine Stadt5892 nahe7138, darein ich fliehen5127 mag, und ist klein4705, daselbst will ich mich erretten4422; ist sie doch klein4705, daß meine See LE5315 lebendig2421 bleibe.

21 And he said559 unto413 him, See,2009 I have accepted5375 6440 thee concerning this2088 thing1697 also,1571 that I will not1115 overthrow2015 853 this city,5892 for the which834 thou hast spoken.1696
|
21 Da sprach559 er zu ihm: Siehe2009, ich habe5375 auch in6440 diesem Stück1697 dich angesehen, daß ich die Stadt5892 nicht umkehre2015, davon834 du geredet hast1696.
|
|
22 Haste4116 thee, escape4422 thither;8033 for3588 I cannot3808 3201 do6213 any thing1697 till5704 thou be come935 thither.8033 Therefore5921 3651 the name8034 of the city5892 was called7121 Zoar.6820

22 Eile4116 und errette4422 dich daselbst, denn ich kann3201 nichts1697 tun6213, bis daß du8034 hinein kommest. Daher ist935 diese Stadt5892 genannt7121 Zoar6820.

23 The sun8121 was risen3318 upon5921 the earth776 when Lot3876 entered935 into Zoar.6820
|
23 Und die Sonne8121 war935 aufgegangen3318 auf Erden776, da Lot3876 gen Zoar6820 einkam.
|
|
24 Then the LORD3068 rained4305 upon5921 Sodom5467 and upon5921 Gomorrah6017 brimstone1614 and fire784 from4480 854 the LORD3068 out of4480 heaven;8064
|
24 Da ließ der HErr3068 Schwefel1614 und Feuer784 regnen4305 von dem HErrn3068 vom Himmel8064 herab auf Sodom5467 und Gomorrha.

|
25 And he overthrew2015 853 those411 cities,5892 and all3605 the plain,3603 and all3605 the inhabitants3427 of the cities,5892 and that which grew6780 upon the ground.127
|
25 Und kehrete die411 Städte5892 um, die ganze Gegend3603 und alle Einwohner3427 der Städte5892, und was auf dem Lande127 gewachsen war6780.
|
|
26 But his wife802 looked5027 back from behind4480 310 him, and she became1961 a pillar5333 of salt.4417
|
26 Und sein Weib802 sah hinter310 sich5027 und ward zur Salzsäule5333.
|
|
27 And Abraham85 got up early7925 in the morning1242 to413 the place4725 where834 8033 he stood5975 853 before6440 the LORD: 3068
|
27 Abraham85 aber machte sich7925 des Morgens1242 frühe auf6440 an den Ort4725, da er gestanden5975 war vor dem HErrn3068,
|
|
28 And he looked8259 toward5921 6440 Sodom5467 and Gomorrah,6017 and toward5921 6440 all3605 the land776 of the plain,3603 and beheld,7200 and, lo,2009 the smoke7008 of the country776 went up5927 as the smoke7008 of a furnace.3536
|
28 und776 wandte sein Angesicht8259 gegen Sodom5467 und Gomorrha und alles Land776 der Gegend3603 und schauete; und siehe7200, da ging5927 ein Rauch7008 auf6440 vom Lande6440, wie ein Rauch7008 vom Ofen3536.

|
29 And it came to pass,1961 when God430 destroyed7843 853 the cities5892 of the plain,3603 that God430 remembered2142 853 Abraham,85 and sent7971 853 Lot3876 out of the midst4480 8432 of the overthrow,2018 when he overthrew2015 853 the cities5892 in the which2004 834 Lot3876 dwelt.3427

29 Denn da GOtt430 die3427 Städte5892 in8432 der Gegend3603 verderbte7843, gedachte2142 er an Abraham85 und430 geleitete7971 Lot3876 aus den Städten5892, die er umkehrete, darin2004 Lot3876 wohnete.

30 And Lot3876 went up5927 out of Zoar,4480 6820 and dwelt3427 in the mountain,2022 and his two8147 daughters1323 with5973 him; for3588 he feared3372 to dwell3427 in Zoar:6820 and he dwelt3427 in a cave,4631 he1931 and his two8147 daughters.1323

30 Und Lot3876 zog aus Zoar6820 und blieb3427 auf5927 dem Berge2022 mit seinen beiden8147 Töchtern1323; denn er fürchtete3372 sich3427, zu Zoar6820 zu bleiben; und blieb3427 also in einer Höhle4631 mit seinen beiden8147 Töchtern1323.

31 And the firstborn1067 said559 unto413 the younger,6810 Our father1 is old,2204 and there is not369 a man376 in the earth776 to come in935 unto5921 us after the manner1870 of all3605 the earth: 776
|
31 Da sprach559 die älteste zu der jüngsten6810: Unser Vater1 ist935 alt2204, und ist kein Mann376 mehr auf Erden776, der uns beschlafen möge nach aller Welt776 Weise1870.

32 Come,1980 let us make853 our father1 drink8248 wine,3196 and we will lie7901 with5973 him, that we may preserve2421 seed2233 of our father.4480 1
|
32 So komm3212, laß uns unserm Vater1 Wein3196 zu trinken8248 geben8248 und bei ihm schlafen7901, daß wir Samen2233 von unserm Vater1 erhalten2421.

33 And they made853 their father1 drink8248 wine3196 that1931 night:3915 and the firstborn1067 went in,935 and lay7901 with854 her father;1 and he perceived3045 not3808 when she lay down,7901 nor when she arose.6965
|
33 Also gaben8248 sie ihrem Vater1 Wein3196 zu trinken8248 in derselben Nacht3915. Und die erste1067 ging935 hinein und legte sich7901 zu ihrem Vater1; und er ward‘s nicht6965 gewahr3045, da sie sich7901 legte, noch da sie aufstund.

34 And it came to pass1961 on the morrow,4480 4283 that the firstborn1067 said559 unto413 the younger,6810 Behold,2005 I lay7901 last night570 with854 my father:1 let us make him drink8248 wine3196 this night3915 also;1571 and go thou in,935 and lie7901 with5973 him, that we may preserve2421 seed2233 of our father.4480 1

34 Des Morgens4283 sprach559 die älteste zu der jüngsten6810: Siehe, ich habe935 gestern570 bei meinem Vater1 gelegen7901. Laß uns ihm diese Nacht3915 auch Wein3196 zu trinken geben8248, daß du hineingehest und legest dich7901 zu ihm, daß wir Samen2233 von unserm Vater1 erhalten2421:

35 And they made853 their father1 drink8248 wine3196 that1931 night3915 also:1571 and the younger6810 arose,6965 and lay7901 with5973 him; and he perceived3045 not3808 when she lay down,7901 nor when she arose.6965
|
35 Also gaben8248 sie ihrem Vater1 die Nacht3915 auch1931 Wein3196 zu trinken8248. Und die jüngste machte sich7901 auch auf6965 und legte sich7901 zu ihm; und er ward‘s nicht gewahr3045, da sie sich6965 legte, noch da sie aufstund.

36 Thus were both8147 the daughters1323 of Lot3876 with child2029 by their father.4480 1

36 Also wurden die beiden Töchter1323 Lots3876 schwanger2029 von ihrem Vater1.
|
|
37 And the firstborn1067 bore3205 a son,1121 and called7121 his name8034 Moab:4124 the same1931 is the father1 of the Moabites4124 unto5704 this day.3117
|
37 Und die8034 älteste gebar3205 einen Sohn1121, den hieß7121 sie Moab4124. Von dem1931 kommen her1 die Moabiter4124 bis auf diesen heutigen Tag3117.

|
38 And the younger,6810 she1931 also1571 bore3205 a son,1121 and called7121 his name8034 Ben-ammi:1151 the same1931 is the father1 of the children1121 of Ammon5983 unto5704 this day.3117
|
38 Und die8034 jüngste gebar3205 auch einen Sohn1121, den hieß7121 sie das Kind Ammi1151. Von dem kommen1 die Kinder1121 Ammon5983 bis auf den heutigen Tag3117.
