15 And he went up5927 thence4480 8033 to413 the inhabitants3427 of Debir:1688 and the name8034 of Debir1688 before6440 was Kirjath-sepher.7158

16 And Caleb3612 said,559 He that834 smiteth5221 853 Kirjath-sepher,7158 and taketh3920 it, to him will I give5414 853 Achsah5915 my daughter1323 to wife.802

17 And Othniel6274 the son1121 of Kenaz,7073 the brother251 of Caleb,3612 took3920 it: and he gave5414 him853 Achsah5915 his daughter1323 to wife.802

4 Далее она проходила Ацмон, выходила к речке на границе Египта и оканчивалась у моря. Вот их южная граница.

5 Восточная граница – это Мёртвое море до устья Иордана.

6 поднималась к Бет-Хогле и продолжалась севернее Бет-Аравы до камня Бохана, сына Рувима.

14 Из Хеврона Халев прогнал трёх анакитов – Шешая, Ахимана и Талмая, потомков Анака.

15 Оттуда он пошёл на жителей Девира (который прежде назывался Кириат-Сефер).

16 Халев сказал: – Я отдам свою дочь Ахсу в жёны тому, кто нападёт на Кириат-Сефер и возьмёт его.

17 Отниил, сын Кеназа, брата Халева, взял город, и Халев отдал ему в жёны свою дочь Ахсу.
