2 For3588 the idols8655 have spoken1696 vanity,205 and the diviners7080 have seen2372 a lie,8267 and have told1696 false7723 dreams;2472 they comfort5162 in vain:1892 therefore59213651 they went their way5265 as3644 a flock,6629 they were troubled,6031 because3588there was no369 shepherd.7462
3 Mine anger639 was kindled2734 against5921 the shepherds,7462 and I punished64855921 the goats:6260 for3588 the LORD3068 of hosts6635 hath visited6485853 his flock5739853 the house1004 of Judah,3063 and hath made7760 them as his goodly1935 horse5483 in the battle.4421
4 Out of4480 him came forth3318 the corner,6438 out of4480 him the nail,3489 out of4480 him the battle4421 bow,7198 out of4480 him every3605 oppressor5065 together.3162
5 And they shall be1961 as mighty1368men, which tread down947their enemies in the mire2916 of the streets2351 in the battle:4421 and they shall fight,3898 because3588 the LORD3068is with5973 them, and the riders7392 on horses5483 shall be confounded.954
6 And I will strengthen1396853 the house1004 of Judah,3063 and I will save3467 the house1004 of Joseph,3130 and I will bring them again7725to place them; for3588 I have mercy upon7355 them: and they shall be1961 as though834 I had not3808 cast them off:2186 for3588 I589am the LORD3068 their God,430 and will hear6030 them.
7 And they of Ephraim669 shall be1961 like a mighty1368man, and their heart3820 shall rejoice8055 as through3644 wine:3196 yea, their children1121 shall see7200it, and be glad;8055 their heart3820 shall rejoice1523 in the LORD.3068
8 I will hiss8319 for them, and gather6908 them; for3588 I have redeemed6299 them: and they shall increase7235 as3644 they have increased.7235
9 And I will sow2232 them among the people:5971 and they shall remember2142 me in far countries;4801 and they shall live2421 with854 their children,1121 and turn again.7725
10 I will bring them again7725 also out of the land4480776 of Egypt,4714 and gather6908 them out of Assyria;4480804 and I will bring935 them into413 the land776 of Gilead1568 and Lebanon;3844 and place shall not3808 be found4672 for them.
11 And he shall pass5674 through the sea3220 with affliction,6869 and shall smite5221 the waves1530 in the sea,3220 and all3605 the deeps4688 of the river2975 shall dry up:3001 and the pride1347 of Assyria804 shall be brought down,3381 and the scepter7626 of Egypt4714 shall depart away.5493

1 Просите у Вечного дождь весной; это Вечный творит грозовые тучи.Он даёт вам обильный дождь, каждому – урожай в поле.
2 Идолы вещают бред, и гадатели видят пустые видения;сновидцы рассказывают лживые сны и утешают впустую.Потому-то народ и скитается, словно овцы, и бедствует без пастуха.
3 – Разгорелся Мой гнев на пастухов, Я накажу козлов; .ведь позаботится Вечный, Повелитель Сил, о Своей отаре, о доме Иуды, сделает его подобным величавому коню среди битвы.
4 Из народа Иудеи будут их правители – их «краеугольный камень», их «колышек для шатра», их «лук для битвы».
5 Вместе они – как воины в битве, втопчут врага в дорожную грязь;будут сражаться – ведь с ними Вечный – и посрамят всадников.
6 Я укреплю дом Иуды и спасу дом Юсуфа. Я возвращу их, потому что сжалился над ними,и будут они, словно Я их и не отвергал, ведь Я Вечный, их Бог, и Я им отвечу.
7 Ефраимиты уподобятся воинам, их сердца будут веселы, как от вина.Обрадуются их дети, увидев это, возликуют их сердца в Вечном.
8 Я свистну им, и они соберутся,ведь Я выкупил их, и будут они многочисленны, как прежде.
9 Пусть Я рассеял их среди народов – они Меня вспомнят и в дальних странах. Они и их дети выживут и возвратятся.
10 Я возвращу их из Египта, соберу из Ассирии.Я приведу их в Галаад и на Ливан, и не хватит для них места.
11 Они перейдут через море бед, и смирится бурное море, и все глубины реки Нила иссохнут.Гордость Ассирии будет унижена, и лишится Египет скипетра.
12 Я укреплю их Моей силою, и они будут жить жизнью, угодной мне, – возвещает Вечный.

3 – Разгорелся Мой гнев на пастухов, Я накажу козлов; .ведь позаботится Вечный, Повелитель Сил, о Своей отаре, о доме Иуды, сделает его подобным величавому коню среди битвы.

12 Я укреплю их Моей силою, и они будут жить жизнью, угодной мне, – возвещает Вечный.
