Chapter 28

1 And it shall come to pass,1961 if518 thou shalt hearken diligently8085 8085 unto the voice6963 of the LORD3068 thy God,430 to observe8104 and to do6213 853 all3605 his commandments4687 which834 I595 command6680 thee this day,3117 that the LORD3068 thy God430 will set5414 thee on high5945 above5921 all3605 nations1471 of the earth: 776

2 And all3605 these428 blessings1293 shall come935 on5921 thee, and overtake5381 thee, if3588 thou shalt hearken8085 unto the voice6963 of the LORD3068 thy God.430

3 Blessed1288 shalt thou859 be in the city,5892 and blessed1288 shalt thou859 be in the field.7704

4 Blessed1288 shall be the fruit6529 of thy body,990 and the fruit6529 of thy ground,127 and the fruit6529 of thy cattle,929 the increase7698 of thy kine,504 and the flocks6251 of thy sheep.6629

8 The LORD3068 shall command6680 853 the blessing1293 upon854 thee in thy storehouses,618 and in all3605 that thou settest4916 thine hand3027 unto; and he shall bless1288 thee in the land776 which834 the LORD3068 thy God430 giveth5414 thee.

9 The LORD3068 shall establish6965 thee a holy6918 people5971 unto himself, as834 he hath sworn7650 unto thee, if3588 thou shalt keep8104 853 the commandments4687 of the LORD3068 thy God,430 and walk1980 in his ways.1870

10 And all3605 people5971 of the earth776 shall see7200 that3588 thou art called7121 by5921 the name8034 of the LORD;3068 and they shall be afraid3372 of4480 thee.

11 And the LORD3068 shall make thee plenteous3498 in goods,2896 in the fruit6529 of thy body,990 and in the fruit6529 of thy cattle,929 and in the fruit6529 of thy ground,127 in5921 the land127 which834 the LORD3068 swore7650 unto thy fathers1 to give5414 thee.

12 The LORD3068 shall open6605 unto thee853 his good2896 treasure,214 853 the heaven8064 to give5414 the rain4306 unto thy land776 in his season,6256 and to bless1288 853 all3605 the work4639 of thine hand:3027 and thou shalt lend3867 unto many7227 nations,1471 and thou859 shalt not3808 borrow.3867

13 And the LORD3068 shall make5414 thee the head,7218 and not3808 the tail;2180 and thou shalt be1961 above4605 only,7535 and thou shalt not3808 be1961 beneath;4295 if3588 that thou hearken8085 unto413 the commandments4687 of the LORD3068 thy God,430 which834 I595 command6680 thee this day,3117 to observe8104 and to do6213 them:

21 The LORD3068 shall make853 the pestilence1698 cleave1692 unto thee, until5704 he have consumed3615 thee from off4480 5921 the land,127 whither834 8033 thou859 goest935 to possess3423 it.

22 The LORD3068 shall smite5221 thee with a consumption,7829 and with a fever,6920 and with an inflammation,1816 and with an extreme burning,2746 and with the sword,2719 and with blasting,7711 and with mildew;3420 and they shall pursue7291 thee until5704 thou perish.6

23 And thy heaven8064 that834 is over5921 thy head7218 shall be1961 brass,5178 and the earth776 that834 is under8478 thee shall be iron.1270

24 The LORD3068 shall make5414 853 the rain4306 of thy land776 powder80 and dust:6083 from4480 heaven8064 shall it come down3381 upon5921 thee, until5704 thou be destroyed.8045

25 The LORD3068 shall cause5414 thee to be smitten5062 before6440 thine enemies:341 thou shalt go out3318 one259 way1870 against413 them, and flee5127 seven7651 ways1870 before6440 them: and shalt be1961 removed2189 into all3605 the kingdoms4467 of the earth.776

26 And thy carcass5038 shall be1961 meat3978 unto all3605 fowls5775 of the air,8064 and unto the beasts929 of the earth,776 and no man369 shall frighten them away.2729

27 The LORD3068 will smite5221 thee with the botch7822 of Egypt,4714 and with the emerods,6076 and with the scab,1618 and with the itch,2775 whereof834 thou canst3201 not3808 be healed.7495

37 And thou shalt become1961 an astonishment,8047 a proverb,4912 and a byword,8148 among all3605 nations5971 whither834 8033 the LORD3068 shall lead5090 thee.

38 Thou shalt carry much seed out3318 7227 2233 into the field,7704 and shalt gather but little in;622 4592 for3588 the locust697 shall consume2628 it.

39 Thou shalt plant5193 vineyards,3754 and dress5647 them, but shalt neither3808 drink8354 of the wine,3196 nor3808 gather103 the grapes; for3588 the worms8438 shall eat398 them.

40 Thou shalt have1961 olive trees2132 throughout all3605 thy coasts,1366 but thou shalt not3808 anoint5480 thyself with the oil;8081 for3588 thine olive2132 shall cast5394 his fruit.

41 Thou shalt beget3205 sons1121 and daughters,1323 but thou shalt not3808 enjoy1961 them; for3588 they shall go1980 into captivity.7628

42 All3605 thy trees6086 and fruit6529 of thy land127 shall the locust6767 consume.3423

54 So that the man376 that is tender7390 among you, and very3966 delicate,6028 his eye5869 shall be evil7489 toward his brother,251 and toward the wife802 of his bosom,2436 and toward the remnant3499 of his children1121 which834 he shall leave: 3498

57 And toward her young one7988 that cometh out3318 from between4480 996 her feet,7272 and toward her children1121 which834 she shall bear:3205 for3588 she shall eat398 them for want2640 of all3605 things secretly5643 in the siege4692 and straitness,4689 wherewith834 thine enemy341 shall distress6693 thee in thy gates.8179

58 If518 thou wilt not3808 observe8104 to do6213 853 all3605 the words1697 of this2063 law8451 that are written3789 in this2088 book,5612 that thou mayest fear3372 853 this2088 glorious3513 and fearful3372 name,8034 853 THE LORD3068 THY GOD;430

59 Then the LORD3068 will make853 thy plagues4347 wonderful,6381 and the plagues4347 of thy seed,2233 even great1419 plagues,4347 and of long continuance,539 and sore7451 sicknesses,2483 and of long continuance.539

60 Moreover he will bring7725 upon thee853 all3605 the diseases4064 of Egypt,4714 which834 thou wast afraid3025 of;4480 6440 and they shall cleave1692 unto thee.

61 Also1571 every3605 sickness,2483 and every3605 plague,4347 which834 is not3808 written3789 in the book5612 of this2063 law,8451 them will the LORD3068 bring5927 upon5921 thee, until5704 thou be destroyed.8045

62 And ye shall be left7604 few4592 in number,4962 whereas8478 834 ye were1961 as the stars3556 of heaven8064 for multitude;7230 because3588 thou wouldest not3808 obey8085 the voice6963 of the LORD3068 thy God.430

63 And it shall come to pass,1961 that as834 the LORD3068 rejoiced7797 over5921 you to do you good,3190 853 and to multiply7235 you; so3651 the LORD3068 will rejoice7797 over5921 you to destroy6 you, and to bring you to naught;8045 853 and ye shall be plucked5255 from off4480 5921 the land127 whither834 8033 thou859 goest935 to possess3423 it.

64 And the LORD3068 shall scatter6327 thee among all3605 people,5971 from the one end4480 7097 of the earth776 even unto5704 the other;7097 776 and there8033 thou shalt serve5647 other312 gods,430 which834 neither3808 thou859 nor thy fathers1 have known,3045 even wood6086 and stone.68

65 And among these1992 nations1471 shalt thou find no ease,7280 3808 neither3808 shall the sole3709 of thy foot7272 have1961 rest:4494 but the LORD3068 shall give5414 thee there8033 a trembling7268 heart,3820 and failing3631 of eyes,5869 and sorrow1671 of mind: 5315

66 And thy life2416 shall hang1961 in doubt8511 before4480 5048 thee; and thou shalt fear6342 day3119 and night,3915 and shalt have none assurance539 3808 of thy life: 2416

1 «Если будешь послушен Господу, Богу твоему, и неукоснительно будешь исполнять все Его заповеди, о которых я тебе говорю сегодня, Господь, Бог твой, поставит тебя выше всех народов на земле.

2 Если будешь послушен Господу, Богу твоему, то вот какие благословения получишь, и будут они твоими:

3 Господь благословит тебя и в городе, и в поле.

4 Господь благословит тебя и твоих детей, благословит твои поля добрым урожаем, благословит твой скот и даст ему многочисленный приплод, благословит твой скот телятами, а овец — ягнятами.

5 Господь благословит твои корзины и чаши.

6 Господь благословит тебя во всём, что ты делаешь, на все времена.

7 Господь поможет тебе победить всех твоих врагов, которые выйдут сражаться с тобой: на одном пути они выступят против тебя, но семью разными дорогами побегут от тебя.

8 Господь благословит тебя и наполнит твои закрома, а также благословит всё, что ты делаешь. Господь, Бог твой, благословит тебя на той земле, которую даёт тебе.

9 Господь сделает тебя Своим святым народом, как обещал, если будешь следовать Господу, Богу твоему, и исполнять Его наказы.

10 И тогда все народы той земли увидят, что тебя называют именем Господним, и будут страшиться тебя.

11 И даст тебе Господь множество благ, даст тебе множество детей, даст твоим коровам множество телят, даст тебе хороший урожай на земле, которую Господь обещал отдать твоим предкам.

12 Господь откроет сокровищницу Своих благословений, пошлёт в нужное время дождь на твою землю и благословит все твои дела. У тебя будут деньги, чтобы давать взаймы многим народам, а тебе не нужно будет брать взаймы у них.

13 Господь сделает тебя головой, а не хвостом, ты будешь на высоте, а не внизу, если будешь исполнять заповеди Господа, Бога твоего, которые я даю тебе сегодня. Тщательно исполняй эти заповеди.

14 Не отступай от учений, которые я даю тебе сегодня, не отступай ни вправо, ни влево, не следуй другим богам и не служи им».

15 «Но если не будешь исполнять то, что Господь Бог говорит тебе, если не будешь исполнять все Его заповеди и законы, то вот какое зло случится с тобой:

16 Господь проклянёт тебя и в городе, и в поле.

17 Господь проклянёт твои корзины и чаши.

18 Господь проклянёт тебя, и у тебя не будет множества детей, проклянёт твою землю, и у тебя не будет хорошего урожая, проклянёт твой скот, и у него не будет многочисленного приплода, проклянёт всех твоих телят и ягнят.

19 Господь проклянёт тебя во всём, что ты делаешь, на все времена.

20 Если ты сотворишь зло и отвернёшься от Господа, Он будет посылать тебе зло, смятение и несчастье во всём, что ты делаешь, до тех пор пока ты не будешь быстро и полностью истреблён, потому что ты отвернулся от Него и покинул Его.

21 Господь будет наводить на тебя ужасные болезни, пока не истребит тебя и пока ты не исчезнешь с лица земли, которой собираешься овладеть.

22 Господь поразит тебя болезнями, лихорадкой и воспалением. Он пошлёт тебе палящий зной, и твой урожай погибнет от жары и болезни. Эти несчастья будут преследовать тебя, пока ты не погибнешь.

23 Небо будет словно полированная медь, а земля под тобой будет жёсткой, как железо.

24 Господь не пошлёт тебе дождя, только песок и пыль будут падать на тебя с неба, пока не погибнешь.

25 Господь позволит твоим врагам победить тебя: одним путём ты выступишь против них, а семью дорогами побежишь от них, и все народы устрашатся бедствий, которые постигнут тебя.

26 И будут твои трупы пищей диким птицам и зверям, и некому будет отогнать их.

27 Господь поразит тебя нарывами, как те, которыми поразил египтян, поразит тебя опухолями, мокнущими язвами и неизлечимой чесоткой.

28 Господь поразит тебя безумием, ослепит и смутит тебя, будет тебе неудача, и будут тебя обижать и обкрадывать снова и снова, и некому будет спасти тебя.

29 так что среди ясного дня тебе придётся находить дорогу на ощупь как слепцу.

30 Если обручишься с женщиной, то другой будет иметь с ней половое сношение. Когда построишь дом, то не будешь жить в нём; посадишь виноградник, но ничего с него не соберёшь.

31 У тебя на глазах заколют твоих быков и коров, но ты не будешь есть их мяса. Враги заберут ослов и овец твоих и не возвратят тебе, и некому будет спасти тебя.

32 Другим народам будет дозволено забрать твоих сыновей и дочерей, и ты будешь искать своих детей день за днём, будешь искать их, пока не ослабеют и не ослепнут твои глаза, но не найдёшь их. И Бог не поможет тебе.

33 Неизвестный тебе народ захватит твой урожай, а также всё, ради чего ты трудился. Этот народ будет притеснять и мучить тебя,

34 и ты лишишься разума от всего, что увидишь!

35 Господь поразит тебя открытыми нарывами, от которых нельзя излечиться, и они будут у тебя на коленях, на бёдрах и по всему телу, от ступней ноги до самого темени.

36 Господь отошлёт тебя и твоего царя к неизвестному тебе народу, которого никогда не видел ни ты, ни твои предки, и там ты станешь служить лжебогам, сделанным из дерева и камня.

37 В тех странах, куда отошлёт тебя Господь, народ будет потрясён твоими злоключениями, и будут люди смеяться над тобой и злословить о тебе.

38 Твои поля родят обилие зерна, но урожай будет малым, потому что его съест саранча.

39 Ты посадишь виноградники и будешь тяжко трудиться на них, но не соберёшь с них виноград и не будешь пить вино, потому что виноград съедят черви.

40 На твоей земле повсюду будут оливковые деревья, но масла у тебя не будет, потому что маслины упадут на землю и сгниют.

41 У тебя будут сыновья и дочери, но ты не сможешь их сохранить, потому что их уведут в плен.

42 Саранча погубит все твои деревья и весь урожай у тебя в полях.

43 Живущие среди тебя чужеземцы будут захватывать всё больше и больше власти, ты же утратишь ту власть, которую имел.

44 Чужестранцы будут давать тебе взаймы, тебе же нечего будет дать им; они станут подобны голове, а ты — хвосту.

45 Все эти проклятия падут на тебя, будут преследовать и одолевать тебя, пока не будешь истреблён, так как ты не слушал, что говорит Господь, Бог твой, не исполнял заповеди и законы, которые Он дал тебе.

46 Эти проклятия будут для народов знамением того, что Бог навечно осудил тебя и твоих потомков, и народы ужаснутся тому, что с тобой случится.

47 Господь, Бог твой, послал тебе многие благословения, но ты не служил Ему с радостью и счастьем в сердце.

48 И потому будешь служить врагам, которых Господь послал против тебя. Ты будешь томим голодом и жаждой, будешь наг и беден. Господь возложит на тебя бремя, которое не снимется, и ты будешь нести это бремя, пока Он не истребит тебя.

49 Господь приведёт издалека народ для битвы с тобой, и ты не будешь понимать его языка. Подобно орлу он стремительно налетит на тебя.

50 Эти люди будут жестоки: не будут заботиться о стариках и не окажут милосердия детям.

51 Они будут отбирать у тебя скот и то, что ты выращиваешь себе на пропитание, будут всё отбирать, пока не разорят тебя, не оставив ни зерна, ни вина, ни масла, ни коров, ни овец, ни коз — всё отберут, пока не погубят тебя.

52 Этот народ окружит твои города и нападёт на них, и, хотя ты будешь надеяться, что высокие крепкие стены вокруг городов защитят тебя, эти стены падут, и враг окружит все города по всей твоей земле, которую Господь, Бог твой, даёт тебе.

53 Твои страдания будут ужасны: враг окружит твои города, лишит тебя пищи, и от страшного голода ты станешь поедать тела своих сыновей и дочерей, будешь поедать плоть детей, которых Господь, Бог твой, дал тебе.

54 Даже самый мягкий и добрый среди вас станет безжалостным; он будет безжалостен и к другим, и к жене, которую горячо любит, и к своим детям, которые останутся в живых.

55 И когда ему больше нечего будет есть, он съест собственных детей и не поделится их плотью ни с кем, даже с собственной семьёй. И всё это случится, когда твой враг придёт и, окружив твои города, причинит тебе страдания.

56 Даже самая мягкосердечная и добрая женщина среди вас станет безжалостной. Даже если она так изнежена, что никогда не ступала на землю ногой, всё равно станет безжалостной к мужу своему, которого горячо любит, и к сыну, и к дочери своей.

57 И тайно родив ребёнка, она съест и ребёнка, и всё, что вместе с ним исторгнет её тело. Всё это случится, когда придёт твой враг и, окружив твои города, причинит тебе страдания.

58 Так исполняй же все заповеди и учения, записанные в этой книге, и почитай славное и грозное имя Господа, Бога твоего, а если не исполнишь, то

59 Господь пошлёт тебе и твоим потомкам бесчисленные бедствия. Твои бедствия и болезни будут ужасны!

60 Ты видел в Египте много бедствий и болезней, вселивших в тебя страх, и Господь пошлёт всё это зло против тебя.

61 Господь будет посылать тебе всяческие бедствия и болезни, которые не записаны в книге Закона до тех пор, пока ты не будешь истреблён.

62 И хотя вы многочисленны, словно звёзды в небе, лишь немногие из вас уцелеют, потому что ты не слушал Господа, Бога твоего.

63 И как радовался Господь, делая вам добро и умножая вас, так будет радоваться Он, губя и уничтожая вас, и вы будете изгнаны с той земли, которую собираетесь захватить.

64 Господь рассеет вас среди народов мира, Господь рас сеет вас от одного края земли до другого, и вы будете там служить лжебогам, сделанным из дерева и камня, которым не поклонялся ни ты, ни твои предки.

65 Не будет тебе мира среди этих народов, не будет тебе места для отдыха, Господь наполнит твой ум тревогой, а глаза — усталостью, и в отчаянии ты потеряешь всякую надежду.

66 Твоя жизнь будет всегда в опасности, ты будешь жить в страхе, будешь трепетать днём и ночью и не будешь уверен в своей жизни.

67 Утром будешь говорить: „О, если бы пришёл вечер!” — а вечером будешь говорить: „О, если бы наступило утро!” — потому что в твоём сердце будет страх и ты увидишь великое зло.

68 Господь возвратит тебя в Египет на кораблях, и хотя я сказал, что тебе никогда больше не придётся идти туда, Господь отправит тебя туда. В Египте ты станешь продавать себя в рабство своим врагам, но никто не купит тебя!»

1 «Если будешь послушен Господу, Богу твоему, и неукоснительно будешь исполнять все Его заповеди, о которых я тебе говорю сегодня, Господь, Бог твой, поставит тебя выше всех народов на земле.

2 And all3605 these428 blessings1293 shall come935 on5921 thee, and overtake5381 thee, if3588 thou shalt hearken8085 unto the voice6963 of the LORD3068 thy God.430

2 Если будешь послушен Господу, Богу твоему, то вот какие благословения получишь, и будут они твоими:

4 Господь благословит тебя и твоих детей, благословит твои поля добрым урожаем, благословит твой скот и даст ему многочисленный приплод, благословит твой скот телятами, а овец — ягнятами.

7 Господь поможет тебе победить всех твоих врагов, которые выйдут сражаться с тобой: на одном пути они выступят против тебя, но семью разными дорогами побегут от тебя.

8 The LORD3068 shall command6680 853 the blessing1293 upon854 thee in thy storehouses,618 and in all3605 that thou settest4916 thine hand3027 unto; and he shall bless1288 thee in the land776 which834 the LORD3068 thy God430 giveth5414 thee.

8 Господь благословит тебя и наполнит твои закрома, а также благословит всё, что ты делаешь. Господь, Бог твой, благословит тебя на той земле, которую даёт тебе.

9 The LORD3068 shall establish6965 thee a holy6918 people5971 unto himself, as834 he hath sworn7650 unto thee, if3588 thou shalt keep8104 853 the commandments4687 of the LORD3068 thy God,430 and walk1980 in his ways.1870

9 Господь сделает тебя Своим святым народом, как обещал, если будешь следовать Господу, Богу твоему, и исполнять Его наказы.

10 And all3605 people5971 of the earth776 shall see7200 that3588 thou art called7121 by5921 the name8034 of the LORD;3068 and they shall be afraid3372 of4480 thee.

10 И тогда все народы той земли увидят, что тебя называют именем Господним, и будут страшиться тебя.

11 And the LORD3068 shall make thee plenteous3498 in goods,2896 in the fruit6529 of thy body,990 and in the fruit6529 of thy cattle,929 and in the fruit6529 of thy ground,127 in5921 the land127 which834 the LORD3068 swore7650 unto thy fathers1 to give5414 thee.

11 И даст тебе Господь множество благ, даст тебе множество детей, даст твоим коровам множество телят, даст тебе хороший урожай на земле, которую Господь обещал отдать твоим предкам.

12 The LORD3068 shall open6605 unto thee853 his good2896 treasure,214 853 the heaven8064 to give5414 the rain4306 unto thy land776 in his season,6256 and to bless1288 853 all3605 the work4639 of thine hand:3027 and thou shalt lend3867 unto many7227 nations,1471 and thou859 shalt not3808 borrow.3867

12 Господь откроет сокровищницу Своих благословений, пошлёт в нужное время дождь на твою землю и благословит все твои дела. У тебя будут деньги, чтобы давать взаймы многим народам, а тебе не нужно будет брать взаймы у них.

13 And the LORD3068 shall make5414 thee the head,7218 and not3808 the tail;2180 and thou shalt be1961 above4605 only,7535 and thou shalt not3808 be1961 beneath;4295 if3588 that thou hearken8085 unto413 the commandments4687 of the LORD3068 thy God,430 which834 I595 command6680 thee this day,3117 to observe8104 and to do6213 them:

13 Господь сделает тебя головой, а не хвостом, ты будешь на высоте, а не внизу, если будешь исполнять заповеди Господа, Бога твоего, которые я даю тебе сегодня. Тщательно исполняй эти заповеди.

14 And thou shalt not3808 go aside5493 from any4480 3605 of the words1697 which834 I595 command6680 thee this day,3117 to the right hand,3225 or to the left,8040 to go1980 after310 other312 gods430 to serve5647 them.

14 Не отступай от учений, которые я даю тебе сегодня, не отступай ни вправо, ни влево, не следуй другим богам и не служи им».

15 «Но если не будешь исполнять то, что Господь Бог говорит тебе, если не будешь исполнять все Его заповеди и законы, то вот какое зло случится с тобой:

16 Cursed779 shalt thou859 be in the city,5892 and cursed779 shalt thou859 be in the field.7704

16 Господь проклянёт тебя и в городе, и в поле.

17 Cursed779 shall be thy basket2935 and thy store.4863

17 Господь проклянёт твои корзины и чаши.

18 Cursed779 shall be the fruit6529 of thy body,990 and the fruit6529 of thy land,127 the increase7698 of thy kine,504 and the flocks6251 of thy sheep.6629

18 Господь проклянёт тебя, и у тебя не будет множества детей, проклянёт твою землю, и у тебя не будет хорошего урожая, проклянёт твой скот, и у него не будет многочисленного приплода, проклянёт всех твоих телят и ягнят.

19 Господь проклянёт тебя во всём, что ты делаешь, на все времена.

20 The LORD3068 shall send7971 upon thee853 cursing,3994 853 vexation,4103 and rebuke,4045 in all3605 that thou settest4916 thine hand3027 unto for834 to do,6213 until5704 thou be destroyed,8045 and until5704 thou perish6 quickly;4118 because4480 6440 of the wickedness7455 of thy doings,4611 whereby834 thou hast forsaken5800 me.

20 Если ты сотворишь зло и отвернёшься от Господа, Он будет посылать тебе зло, смятение и несчастье во всём, что ты делаешь, до тех пор пока ты не будешь быстро и полностью истреблён, потому что ты отвернулся от Него и покинул Его.

21 The LORD3068 shall make853 the pestilence1698 cleave1692 unto thee, until5704 he have consumed3615 thee from off4480 5921 the land,127 whither834 8033 thou859 goest935 to possess3423 it.

21 Господь будет наводить на тебя ужасные болезни, пока не истребит тебя и пока ты не исчезнешь с лица земли, которой собираешься овладеть.

22 The LORD3068 shall smite5221 thee with a consumption,7829 and with a fever,6920 and with an inflammation,1816 and with an extreme burning,2746 and with the sword,2719 and with blasting,7711 and with mildew;3420 and they shall pursue7291 thee until5704 thou perish.6

22 Господь поразит тебя болезнями, лихорадкой и воспалением. Он пошлёт тебе палящий зной, и твой урожай погибнет от жары и болезни. Эти несчастья будут преследовать тебя, пока ты не погибнешь.

23 And thy heaven8064 that834 is over5921 thy head7218 shall be1961 brass,5178 and the earth776 that834 is under8478 thee shall be iron.1270

23 Небо будет словно полированная медь, а земля под тобой будет жёсткой, как железо.

24 The LORD3068 shall make5414 853 the rain4306 of thy land776 powder80 and dust:6083 from4480 heaven8064 shall it come down3381 upon5921 thee, until5704 thou be destroyed.8045

24 Господь не пошлёт тебе дождя, только песок и пыль будут падать на тебя с неба, пока не погибнешь.

25 The LORD3068 shall cause5414 thee to be smitten5062 before6440 thine enemies:341 thou shalt go out3318 one259 way1870 against413 them, and flee5127 seven7651 ways1870 before6440 them: and shalt be1961 removed2189 into all3605 the kingdoms4467 of the earth.776

25 Господь позволит твоим врагам победить тебя: одним путём ты выступишь против них, а семью дорогами побежишь от них, и все народы устрашатся бедствий, которые постигнут тебя.

26 And thy carcass5038 shall be1961 meat3978 unto all3605 fowls5775 of the air,8064 and unto the beasts929 of the earth,776 and no man369 shall frighten them away.2729

26 И будут твои трупы пищей диким птицам и зверям, и некому будет отогнать их.

27 The LORD3068 will smite5221 thee with the botch7822 of Egypt,4714 and with the emerods,6076 and with the scab,1618 and with the itch,2775 whereof834 thou canst3201 not3808 be healed.7495

27 Господь поразит тебя нарывами, как те, которыми поразил египтян, поразит тебя опухолями, мокнущими язвами и неизлечимой чесоткой.

28 The LORD3068 shall smite5221 thee with madness,7697 and blindness,5788 and astonishment8541 of heart: 3824

28 Господь поразит тебя безумием, ослепит и смутит тебя, будет тебе неудача, и будут тебя обижать и обкрадывать снова и снова, и некому будет спасти тебя.

29 And thou shalt1961 grope4959 at noonday,6672 as834 the blind5787 gropeth4959 in darkness,653 and thou shalt not3808 prosper6743 853 in thy ways:1870 and thou shalt be1961 only389 oppressed6231 and spoiled1497 evermore,3605 3117 and no man369 shall save3467 thee.

29 так что среди ясного дня тебе придётся находить дорогу на ощупь как слепцу.

30 Thou shalt betroth781 a wife,802 and another312 man376 shall lie with7901 her: thou shalt build1129 a house,1004 and thou shalt not3808 dwell3427 therein: thou shalt plant5193 a vineyard,3754 and shalt not3808 gather the grapes2490 thereof.

30 Если обручишься с женщиной, то другой будет иметь с ней половое сношение. Когда построишь дом, то не будешь жить в нём; посадишь виноградник, но ничего с него не соберёшь.

31 Thine ox7794 shall be slain2873 before thine eyes,5869 and thou shalt not3808 eat398 thereof:4480 thine ass2543 shall be violently taken away1497 from before thy face,4480 6440 and shall not3808 be restored7725 to thee: thy sheep6629 shall be given5414 unto thine enemies,341 and thou shalt have none369 to rescue3467 them.

31 У тебя на глазах заколют твоих быков и коров, но ты не будешь есть их мяса. Враги заберут ослов и овец твоих и не возвратят тебе, и некому будет спасти тебя.

32 Thy sons1121 and thy daughters1323 shall be given5414 unto another312 people,5971 and thine eyes5869 shall look,7200 and fail3616 with longing for413 them all3605 the day3117 long: and there shall be no369 might410 in thine hand.3027

32 Другим народам будет дозволено забрать твоих сыновей и дочерей, и ты будешь искать своих детей день за днём, будешь искать их, пока не ослабеют и не ослепнут твои глаза, но не найдёшь их. И Бог не поможет тебе.

33 The fruit6529 of thy land,127 and all3605 thy labors,3018 shall a nation5971 which834 thou knowest3045 not3808 eat up;398 and thou shalt be1961 only7535 oppressed6231 and crushed7533 always:3605 3117

33 Неизвестный тебе народ захватит твой урожай, а также всё, ради чего ты трудился. Этот народ будет притеснять и мучить тебя,

34 So that thou shalt be1961 mad7696 for the sight4480 4758 of thine eyes5869 which834 thou shalt see.7200

34 и ты лишишься разума от всего, что увидишь!

35 The LORD3068 shall smite5221 thee in5921 the knees,1290 and in5921 the legs,7785 with a sore7451 botch7822 that834 cannot3201 3808 be healed,7495 from the sole4480 3709 of thy foot7272 unto5704 the top of thy head.6936

35 Господь поразит тебя открытыми нарывами, от которых нельзя излечиться, и они будут у тебя на коленях, на бёдрах и по всему телу, от ступней ноги до самого темени.

36 The LORD3068 shall bring1980 thee, and thy king4428 which834 thou shalt set6965 over5921 thee, unto413 a nation1471 which834 neither3808 thou859 nor thy fathers1 have known;3045 and there8033 shalt thou serve5647 other312 gods,430 wood6086 and stone.68

36 Господь отошлёт тебя и твоего царя к неизвестному тебе народу, которого никогда не видел ни ты, ни твои предки, и там ты станешь служить лжебогам, сделанным из дерева и камня.

37 And thou shalt become1961 an astonishment,8047 a proverb,4912 and a byword,8148 among all3605 nations5971 whither834 8033 the LORD3068 shall lead5090 thee.

37 В тех странах, куда отошлёт тебя Господь, народ будет потрясён твоими злоключениями, и будут люди смеяться над тобой и злословить о тебе.

38 Thou shalt carry much seed out3318 7227 2233 into the field,7704 and shalt gather but little in;622 4592 for3588 the locust697 shall consume2628 it.

38 Твои поля родят обилие зерна, но урожай будет малым, потому что его съест саранча.

39 Thou shalt plant5193 vineyards,3754 and dress5647 them, but shalt neither3808 drink8354 of the wine,3196 nor3808 gather103 the grapes; for3588 the worms8438 shall eat398 them.

39 Ты посадишь виноградники и будешь тяжко трудиться на них, но не соберёшь с них виноград и не будешь пить вино, потому что виноград съедят черви.

40 Thou shalt have1961 olive trees2132 throughout all3605 thy coasts,1366 but thou shalt not3808 anoint5480 thyself with the oil;8081 for3588 thine olive2132 shall cast5394 his fruit.

40 На твоей земле повсюду будут оливковые деревья, но масла у тебя не будет, потому что маслины упадут на землю и сгниют.

41 Thou shalt beget3205 sons1121 and daughters,1323 but thou shalt not3808 enjoy1961 them; for3588 they shall go1980 into captivity.7628

41 У тебя будут сыновья и дочери, но ты не сможешь их сохранить, потому что их уведут в плен.

42 All3605 thy trees6086 and fruit6529 of thy land127 shall the locust6767 consume.3423

43 Живущие среди тебя чужеземцы будут захватывать всё больше и больше власти, ты же утратишь ту власть, которую имел.

44 He1931 shall lend3867 to thee, and thou859 shalt not3808 lend3867 to him: he1931 shall be1961 the head,7218 and thou859 shalt be1961 the tail.2180

44 Чужестранцы будут давать тебе взаймы, тебе же нечего будет дать им; они станут подобны голове, а ты — хвосту.

46 Эти проклятия будут для народов знамением того, что Бог навечно осудил тебя и твоих потомков, и народы ужаснутся тому, что с тобой случится.

47 Господь, Бог твой, послал тебе многие благословения, но ты не служил Ему с радостью и счастьем в сердце.

48 Therefore shalt thou serve5647 853 thine enemies341 which834 the LORD3068 shall send7971 against thee, in hunger,7458 and in thirst,6772 and in nakedness,5903 and in want2640 of all3605 things: and he shall put5414 a yoke5923 of iron1270 upon5921 thy neck,6677 until5704 he have destroyed8045 thee.

48 И потому будешь служить врагам, которых Господь послал против тебя. Ты будешь томим голодом и жаждой, будешь наг и беден. Господь возложит на тебя бремя, которое не снимется, и ты будешь нести это бремя, пока Он не истребит тебя.

49 The LORD3068 shall bring5375 a nation1471 against5921 thee from far,4480 7350 from the end4480 7097 of the earth,776 as swift as834 the eagle5404 flieth;1675 a nation1471 whose834 tongue3956 thou shalt not3808 understand;8085

49 Господь приведёт издалека народ для битвы с тобой, и ты не будешь понимать его языка. Подобно орлу он стремительно налетит на тебя.

50 A nation1471 of fierce5794 countenance,6440 which834 shall not3808 regard5375 the person6440 of the old,2205 nor3808 show favor2603 to the young: 5288

50 Эти люди будут жестоки: не будут заботиться о стариках и не окажут милосердия детям.

51 And he shall eat398 the fruit6529 of thy cattle,929 and the fruit6529 of thy land,127 until5704 thou be destroyed:8045 which834 also shall not3808 leave7604 thee either corn,1715 wine,8492 or oil,3323 or the increase7698 of thy kine,504 or flocks6251 of thy sheep,6629 until5704 he have destroyed6 thee.

51 Они будут отбирать у тебя скот и то, что ты выращиваешь себе на пропитание, будут всё отбирать, пока не разорят тебя, не оставив ни зерна, ни вина, ни масла, ни коров, ни овец, ни коз — всё отберут, пока не погубят тебя.

52 Этот народ окружит твои города и нападёт на них, и, хотя ты будешь надеяться, что высокие крепкие стены вокруг городов защитят тебя, эти стены падут, и враг окружит все города по всей твоей земле, которую Господь, Бог твой, даёт тебе.

53 Твои страдания будут ужасны: враг окружит твои города, лишит тебя пищи, и от страшного голода ты станешь поедать тела своих сыновей и дочерей, будешь поедать плоть детей, которых Господь, Бог твой, дал тебе.

54 So that the man376 that is tender7390 among you, and very3966 delicate,6028 his eye5869 shall be evil7489 toward his brother,251 and toward the wife802 of his bosom,2436 and toward the remnant3499 of his children1121 which834 he shall leave: 3498

54 Даже самый мягкий и добрый среди вас станет безжалостным; он будет безжалостен и к другим, и к жене, которую горячо любит, и к своим детям, которые останутся в живых.

58 Так исполняй же все заповеди и учения, записанные в этой книге, и почитай славное и грозное имя Господа, Бога твоего, а если не исполнишь, то

59 Then the LORD3068 will make853 thy plagues4347 wonderful,6381 and the plagues4347 of thy seed,2233 even great1419 plagues,4347 and of long continuance,539 and sore7451 sicknesses,2483 and of long continuance.539

59 Господь пошлёт тебе и твоим потомкам бесчисленные бедствия. Твои бедствия и болезни будут ужасны!

60 Moreover he will bring7725 upon thee853 all3605 the diseases4064 of Egypt,4714 which834 thou wast afraid3025 of;4480 6440 and they shall cleave1692 unto thee.

60 Ты видел в Египте много бедствий и болезней, вселивших в тебя страх, и Господь пошлёт всё это зло против тебя.

61 Also1571 every3605 sickness,2483 and every3605 plague,4347 which834 is not3808 written3789 in the book5612 of this2063 law,8451 them will the LORD3068 bring5927 upon5921 thee, until5704 thou be destroyed.8045

61 Господь будет посылать тебе всяческие бедствия и болезни, которые не записаны в книге Закона до тех пор, пока ты не будешь истреблён.

62 And ye shall be left7604 few4592 in number,4962 whereas8478 834 ye were1961 as the stars3556 of heaven8064 for multitude;7230 because3588 thou wouldest not3808 obey8085 the voice6963 of the LORD3068 thy God.430

62 И хотя вы многочисленны, словно звёзды в небе, лишь немногие из вас уцелеют, потому что ты не слушал Господа, Бога твоего.

63 And it shall come to pass,1961 that as834 the LORD3068 rejoiced7797 over5921 you to do you good,3190 853 and to multiply7235 you; so3651 the LORD3068 will rejoice7797 over5921 you to destroy6 you, and to bring you to naught;8045 853 and ye shall be plucked5255 from off4480 5921 the land127 whither834 8033 thou859 goest935 to possess3423 it.

63 И как радовался Господь, делая вам добро и умножая вас, так будет радоваться Он, губя и уничтожая вас, и вы будете изгнаны с той земли, которую собираетесь захватить.

64 And the LORD3068 shall scatter6327 thee among all3605 people,5971 from the one end4480 7097 of the earth776 even unto5704 the other;7097 776 and there8033 thou shalt serve5647 other312 gods,430 which834 neither3808 thou859 nor thy fathers1 have known,3045 even wood6086 and stone.68

64 Господь рассеет вас среди народов мира, Господь рас сеет вас от одного края земли до другого, и вы будете там служить лжебогам, сделанным из дерева и камня, которым не поклонялся ни ты, ни твои предки.

65 And among these1992 nations1471 shalt thou find no ease,7280 3808 neither3808 shall the sole3709 of thy foot7272 have1961 rest:4494 but the LORD3068 shall give5414 thee there8033 a trembling7268 heart,3820 and failing3631 of eyes,5869 and sorrow1671 of mind: 5315

65 Не будет тебе мира среди этих народов, не будет тебе места для отдыха, Господь наполнит твой ум тревогой, а глаза — усталостью, и в отчаянии ты потеряешь всякую надежду.

66 And thy life2416 shall hang1961 in doubt8511 before4480 5048 thee; and thou shalt fear6342 day3119 and night,3915 and shalt have none assurance539 3808 of thy life: 2416

66 Твоя жизнь будет всегда в опасности, ты будешь жить в страхе, будешь трепетать днём и ночью и не будешь уверен в своей жизни.

67 In the morning1242 thou shalt say,559 Would God4130 5414 it were even!6153 and at even6153 thou shalt say,559 Would God4130 5414 it were morning!1242 for the fear4480 6343 of thine heart3824 wherewith834 thou shalt fear,6342 and for the sight4480 4758 of thine eyes5869 which834 thou shalt see.7200

67 Утром будешь говорить: „О, если бы пришёл вечер!” — а вечером будешь говорить: „О, если бы наступило утро!” — потому что в твоём сердце будет страх и ты увидишь великое зло.

68 And the LORD3068 shall bring7725 thee into Egypt4714 again with ships,591 by the way1870 whereof834 I spoke559 unto thee, Thou shalt see7200 it no3808 more3254 again:5750 and there8033 ye shall be sold4376 unto your enemies341 for bondmen5650 and bondwomen,8198 and no man369 shall buy7069 you.

68 Господь возвратит тебя в Египет на кораблях, и хотя я сказал, что тебе никогда больше не придётся идти туда, Господь отправит тебя туда. В Египте ты станешь продавать себя в рабство своим врагам, но никто не купит тебя!»
