3 But to the saints6918 that834 are in the earth,776 and to the excellent,117 in whom is all3605 my delight.2656

4 Their sorrows6094 shall be multiplied7235 that hasten4116 after another312 god: their drink offerings5262 of blood4480 1818 will I not1077 offer,5258 nor1077 take up5375 853 their names8034 into5921 my lips.8193

5 The LORD3068 is the portion4521 of mine inheritance2506 and of my cup:3563 thou859 maintainest8551 my lot.1486

2 Від Твого лиця нехай вирок мій ви́йде, а очі Твої нехай бачать мою правоту́!

3 Ти ви́пробував моє серце, навісти́в уночі, перетопи́в Ти мене, — й не знайшов чогось злого. І розду́мував я, щоб лихе з моїх уст не вихо́дило,

4 а в лю́дських діла́х, за словом уст Твоїх, я стерігся доріг гнобителя.

5 Зміцняй сто́пи мої на доро́гах Твоїх, щоб кро́ки мої не хита́лися!

6 Я кли́чу до Тебе, бо відповіси́ мені, Боже, — нахили Своє ухо до мене, вислухай мову мою,

7 покажи дивну милість Свою, Спасителю тих, хто вдає́ться до Тебе від заколо́тників проти прави́ці Твоєї.

8 Хорони Ти мене, як зіни́цю Свою, дочку ока, у тіні Своїх крил заховай Ти мене

9 від безбожних, що гублять мене, — смертельні мої вороги оточили мене!

10 То́вщем замкнули вони своє серце, уста їхні говорять бундю́чно.

11 Вороги оточили тепер наші кро́ки, наставили очі свої, щоб мене повалити на землю.
