Chapter 40

1 AND the LORD said to Moses,

2 On the first day of the first month you shall set up the tabernacle of the congregation.

3 And you shall put in it the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the veil.

4 And you shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be placed upon it; and you shall bring in the candlestick and light the lamps thereof.

5 And you shall set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and fasten the hanging to the entry of the tabernacle.

6 And you shall set the altar of the burnt offering in front of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

7 And you shall set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shall put water in it.

8 And you shall set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.

9 And you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and shall sanctify it and all its vessels; and it shall be holy.

10 And you shall anoint the altar of the burnt offering and all its vessels, and sanctify the altar; and it shall be an altar most holy.

11 And you shall anoint the laver and its base, and sanctify it.

12 Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.

13 And you shall put upon Aaron the holy vestments and anoint him and sanctify him; that he may minister to me in the priest's office.

14 Then you shall bring his sons and clothe them with coats;

15 And you shall anoint them, as you did anoint Aaron your brother, that they may minister to me in the priest's office; for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

16 Thus did Moses according to all that the LORD commanded him; so did he.

17 And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the week, that the tabernacle was set up.

18 And Moses set up the tabernacle and fastened its pegs and set up its boards and put in its bars and raised up its pillars.

19 And be spread the covering over the tabernacle and put the covering of skins over it; as the LORD commanded Moses.

20 And he took the testimony and put it into the ark and set the poles on the ark and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:

21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle and set up the veil of the covering of the door and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.

22 And he put the table in the tent of the congregation on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside the veil.

23 And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.

24 And he put the candlestick in the tabernacle of the congregation, over against the table on the side of the tabernacle southward.

25 And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.

26 And he put the golden altar in the tabernacle of the congregation in front of the veil;

27 And he burnt sweet incense upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.

28 And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.

29 And he put the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meal offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.

30 And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there to wash with it.

31 And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet at it;

32 When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near to the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.

33 And he set up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.

34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode upon it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

36 And when the cloud was lifted up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel started onward in all their journeys;

37 But if the cloud was not lifted up, then they did not journey till the day that it was lifted up.

38 For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys.

1 И сказал Иегова Моисею сими словами:

2 В первый месяц, в первый день месяца, поставь скинию собрания.

3 И поставь в нее ковчег откровения, и закрой ковчег завесою;

4 И внеси стол, и расположи на нем все вещи его, и внеси светильник, и поставь на нем лампады его;

5 И поставь золотой жертвенник для курения пред ковчегом откровения, и повесь завесу у дверей скинии.

6 И поставь жертвенник всесожжения пред дверьми скинии собрания,

7 И поставь умывальницу между скиниею собрания и между жертвенником, и влей в нее воды.

8 И поставь двор кругом, и повесь завесу во вратах двора.

9 И возьми елея помазания, и помажь скинию и все, что в ней, и освяти ее и все принадлежности ее, и будет свята.

10 Помажь жертвенник всесожжения и все принадлежности его, и освяти жертвенник, и будет жертвенник святыня великая.

11 И помажь умывальницу и основания ее, и освяти ее.

12 Потом приведи Аарона и сынов его к дверям скинии собрания, и омой их водою.

13 И облеки Аарона в священные одежды, помажь его и освяти его, чтоб он священнодействовал Мне.

14 Также сынов его приведи и одень их в хитоны,

15 И помажь их, так, как помазал ты отца их, дабы они священнодействовали Мне, и помазание их посвятит их в вечное священство в роды их.

16 И сделал Моисей все; как повелел ему Иегова, так и сделал.

17 Таким образом, в первый месяц второго года, в первый день месяца поставлена скиния.

18 И поставил Моисей скинию, положил подножия ее, поставил брусья ее, положил шесты ее, и поставил столпы ее,

19 Распростер покров над скиниею, и положил покров поверх сего покрова, как повелел Иегова Моисею.

20 Взял, и положил откровение в ковчег, вложил шесты в кольца ковчега, и положил очистилище на ковчег сверху.

21 И внес ковчег в скинию, и повесил завесу, и закрыл ковчег откровения, как повелел Иегова Моисею.

22 И поставил стол в скинии собрания, на северной стороне скинии, вне завесы.

23 И разложил на нем в порядке хлебы пред Иеговою, как повелел Иегова Моисею.

24 И поставил светильник в скинии собрания против стола, на южной стороне скинии.

25 И поставил лампады пред Иеговою, как повелел Иегова Моисею.

26 И поставил золотой жертвенник в скинии собрания пред завесою.

27 И воскурил на нем благовонное курение, как повелел Иегова Моисею.

28 И повесил завесу в дверях скинии.

29 И жертвенник всесожжения поставил у дверей скинии собрания, и принес на нем всесожжения и приношение хлебное, как повелел Иегова Моисею.

30 И поставил умывальницу между скиниею собрания и жертвенником, и налил в нее воды для омовения.

31 И омывали из нее Моисей и Аарон и сыны его руки свои и ноги свои.

32 Когда они входили в скинию собрания и подходили к жертвеннику, тогда омывались, как повелел Иегова Моисею.

33 И поставил двор около скинии и жертвенника, и повесил завесу во вратах двора; и сим окончил Моисей оное дело.

34 И покрыло облако скинию собрания, и слава Иеговы наполнила скинию.

35 И не мог Моисей войти в скинию собрания, потому что облако покоилось на ней, и слава Иеговы наполняла скинию.

36 Когда поднималось облако от скинии, тогда отправлялись в путь сыны Израилевы во все путешествие свое.

37 Если же не поднималось облако, то и они не отправлялись в путь, пока не поднимется.

38 Ибо облако Иеговы стояло над скиниею днем, ночью же огонь был в нем, пред очами всего дома Израилева, во все путешествие их.

1 AND the LORD said to Moses,

1 И сказал Иегова Моисею сими словами:

2 On the first day of the first month you shall set up the tabernacle of the congregation.

2 В первый месяц, в первый день месяца, поставь скинию собрания.

3 And you shall put in it the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the veil.

3 И поставь в нее ковчег откровения, и закрой ковчег завесою;

4 And you shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be placed upon it; and you shall bring in the candlestick and light the lamps thereof.

4 И внеси стол, и расположи на нем все вещи его, и внеси светильник, и поставь на нем лампады его;

5 And you shall set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and fasten the hanging to the entry of the tabernacle.

5 И поставь золотой жертвенник для курения пред ковчегом откровения, и повесь завесу у дверей скинии.

6 And you shall set the altar of the burnt offering in front of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

6 И поставь жертвенник всесожжения пред дверьми скинии собрания,

7 And you shall set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shall put water in it.

7 И поставь умывальницу между скиниею собрания и между жертвенником, и влей в нее воды.

8 And you shall set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.

8 И поставь двор кругом, и повесь завесу во вратах двора.

9 And you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and shall sanctify it and all its vessels; and it shall be holy.

9 И возьми елея помазания, и помажь скинию и все, что в ней, и освяти ее и все принадлежности ее, и будет свята.

10 And you shall anoint the altar of the burnt offering and all its vessels, and sanctify the altar; and it shall be an altar most holy.

10 Помажь жертвенник всесожжения и все принадлежности его, и освяти жертвенник, и будет жертвенник святыня великая.

11 And you shall anoint the laver and its base, and sanctify it.

11 И помажь умывальницу и основания ее, и освяти ее.

12 Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.

12 Потом приведи Аарона и сынов его к дверям скинии собрания, и омой их водою.

13 And you shall put upon Aaron the holy vestments and anoint him and sanctify him; that he may minister to me in the priest's office.

13 И облеки Аарона в священные одежды, помажь его и освяти его, чтоб он священнодействовал Мне.

14 Then you shall bring his sons and clothe them with coats;

14 Также сынов его приведи и одень их в хитоны,

15 And you shall anoint them, as you did anoint Aaron your brother, that they may minister to me in the priest's office; for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

15 И помажь их, так, как помазал ты отца их, дабы они священнодействовали Мне, и помазание их посвятит их в вечное священство в роды их.

16 Thus did Moses according to all that the LORD commanded him; so did he.

16 И сделал Моисей все; как повелел ему Иегова, так и сделал.

17 And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the week, that the tabernacle was set up.

17 Таким образом, в первый месяц второго года, в первый день месяца поставлена скиния.

18 And Moses set up the tabernacle and fastened its pegs and set up its boards and put in its bars and raised up its pillars.

18 И поставил Моисей скинию, положил подножия ее, поставил брусья ее, положил шесты ее, и поставил столпы ее,

19 And be spread the covering over the tabernacle and put the covering of skins over it; as the LORD commanded Moses.

19 Распростер покров над скиниею, и положил покров поверх сего покрова, как повелел Иегова Моисею.

20 And he took the testimony and put it into the ark and set the poles on the ark and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:

20 Взял, и положил откровение в ковчег, вложил шесты в кольца ковчега, и положил очистилище на ковчег сверху.

21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle and set up the veil of the covering of the door and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.

21 И внес ковчег в скинию, и повесил завесу, и закрыл ковчег откровения, как повелел Иегова Моисею.

22 And he put the table in the tent of the congregation on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside the veil.

22 И поставил стол в скинии собрания, на северной стороне скинии, вне завесы.

23 And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.

23 И разложил на нем в порядке хлебы пред Иеговою, как повелел Иегова Моисею.

24 And he put the candlestick in the tabernacle of the congregation, over against the table on the side of the tabernacle southward.

24 И поставил светильник в скинии собрания против стола, на южной стороне скинии.

25 And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.

25 И поставил лампады пред Иеговою, как повелел Иегова Моисею.

26 And he put the golden altar in the tabernacle of the congregation in front of the veil;

26 И поставил золотой жертвенник в скинии собрания пред завесою.

27 And he burnt sweet incense upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.

27 И воскурил на нем благовонное курение, как повелел Иегова Моисею.

28 And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.

28 И повесил завесу в дверях скинии.

29 And he put the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meal offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.

29 И жертвенник всесожжения поставил у дверей скинии собрания, и принес на нем всесожжения и приношение хлебное, как повелел Иегова Моисею.

30 And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there to wash with it.

30 И поставил умывальницу между скиниею собрания и жертвенником, и налил в нее воды для омовения.

31 And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet at it;

31 И омывали из нее Моисей и Аарон и сыны его руки свои и ноги свои.

32 When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near to the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.

32 Когда они входили в скинию собрания и подходили к жертвеннику, тогда омывались, как повелел Иегова Моисею.

33 And he set up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.

33 И поставил двор около скинии и жертвенника, и повесил завесу во вратах двора; и сим окончил Моисей оное дело.

34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

34 И покрыло облако скинию собрания, и слава Иеговы наполнила скинию.

35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode upon it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

35 И не мог Моисей войти в скинию собрания, потому что облако покоилось на ней, и слава Иеговы наполняла скинию.

36 And when the cloud was lifted up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel started onward in all their journeys;

36 Когда поднималось облако от скинии, тогда отправлялись в путь сыны Израилевы во все путешествие свое.

37 But if the cloud was not lifted up, then they did not journey till the day that it was lifted up.

37 Если же не поднималось облако, то и они не отправлялись в путь, пока не поднимется.

38 For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys.

38 Ибо облако Иеговы стояло над скиниею днем, ночью же огонь был в нем, пред очами всего дома Израилева, во все путешествие их.
