Chapter 10

1 MY brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Is'ra-el is that they might be saved.

2 For I can testify for them that there is in them a zeal for God, but not according to the true knowledge.

3 For they know not the righteousness of God, but seek to establish their own righteousness, and because of this, they have not submitted themselves to the righteousness of God.

4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one who believes.

5 For Moses writes of the righteousness of the law thus: Whoever shall do these things shall live by them.

6 But the righteousness which is of faith, says thus: Do not say in your heart, Who has ascended to heaven, and brought Christ down to earth?

7 And who has descended into the abyss of Sheol and brought up Christ from the dead?

8 But what does it say? The answer is near to you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9 So if you will confess with your mouth our LORD Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.

10 For the heart which believes in him, shall be declared righteous, and the mouth that confesses him shall live.

11 For the scripture says, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed.

12 And in this, it does not discriminate between the Jews and the Syrians: for the same LORD over all is rich unto all who call upon him.

13 For whoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved.

14 How then can they call on him on whom they have not believed? Or how can they believe on him whom they have never heard? Or how can they hear without a preacher?

15 Or how can they preach, if they are not sent forth? As it is written, How becoming are the feet of those who preach peace, and of those who bring good tidings.

16 For all have not heard the preaching of the gospel. For Isaiah said, My LORD, who has believed the echoes of our voice?

17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

18 But I say, Have they not heard? And behold the echoes of their voices have gone out over all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses spoke thus, I will provoke you to jealousy by a people that are not my people, and I will make you angry by a reckless people.

20 Then Isaiah dared, and said, I appeared to those who did not seek me, and was found by those who did not ask for me.

21 But to Israel he said, All the day long I have stretched out my hands to a quarrelsome and disobedient people.

1 Братья, желание моего сердца и моя молитва к Богу о том, чтобы Израиль был спасен.

2 Я сам свидетель того, что они ревностно стремятся к Богу, но ревность их не основана на знании.

3 Не понимая праведности, что дает Бог, и пытаясь установить свою собственную, они не приняли праведности Божьей.

4 Христос — конец Закона, и отныне каждый верующий получает праведность.

5 Моисей так описывает праведность по Закону: «Исполняющий их будет жив благодаря им».

6 Праведность, которая дается по вере, говорит: «Не спрашивай себя: кто же поднимется на небо?» — чтобы привести оттуда Христа.

7 Или: «Кто же спустится в бездну?» — чтобы воскресить Христа из мертвых.

8 Но что она говорит? «Слово близко к тебе, оно в твоих устах и в твоем сердце». Это и есть то слово веры, которое мы возвещаем!

9 Если ты исповедуешь своим языком, что Иисус есть Господь, и если ты веришь сердцем, что Бог воскресил Его из мертвых, то будешь спасен.

10 Потому что вера сердца дает человеку праведность, а исповедание уст приносит спасение.

11 Писание говорит: «Верующий в Него не будет постыжен».

12 В этом между иудеем и язычником нет никакого различия — один и тот же Господь является Господом всех и обильно благословляет всех, кто взывает к Нему.

13 Ведь «каждый, кто призовет имя Господа, будет спасен».

14 Но как им призывать Того, в Кого они не поверили? Как поверить в Того, о Ком не слышали? И как услышать, если никто им не будет возвещать?

15 И как кто-либо может возвещать, не будучи посланным? Написано: «Как прекрасны ноги тех, кто возвещает Радостную Весть!»

16 Но не все израильтяне послушались Радостной Вести. Исаия говорит: «Господи, кто поверил слышанному от нас?»

17 Итак, вера приходит от услышанного слова, слова о Христе.

18 Но я хочу спросить, разве они не слышали? Конечно же слышали, ведь написано: «Их голос проходит по всей земле, их слова — до краев света».

19 Тогда я спрашиваю: может быть, Израиль этого не понимал? Но ведь еще Моисей говорил словами Божьими: «Я пробужу в вас ревность через тех, кого и народом-то не назвать; Я разгневаю вас глупым народом».

20 А Исаия смело говорит слова Божьи: «Я найден теми, кто не искал Меня; Я открылся тем, кто не спрашивал Меня».

21 Но об Израиле Бог говорит: «Весь день Я простирал руки Мои к непокорному и своевольному народу».

4 Христос — конец Закона, и отныне каждый верующий получает праведность.

9 So if you will confess with your mouth our LORD Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.

9 Если ты исповедуешь своим языком, что Иисус есть Господь, и если ты веришь сердцем, что Бог воскресил Его из мертвых, то будешь спасен.

10 For the heart which believes in him, shall be declared righteous, and the mouth that confesses him shall live.

10 Потому что вера сердца дает человеку праведность, а исповедание уст приносит спасение.

11 For the scripture says, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed.

11 Писание говорит: «Верующий в Него не будет постыжен».

12 And in this, it does not discriminate between the Jews and the Syrians: for the same LORD over all is rich unto all who call upon him.

12 В этом между иудеем и язычником нет никакого различия — один и тот же Господь является Господом всех и обильно благословляет всех, кто взывает к Нему.

13 For whoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved.

13 Ведь «каждый, кто призовет имя Господа, будет спасен».

14 How then can they call on him on whom they have not believed? Or how can they believe on him whom they have never heard? Or how can they hear without a preacher?

14 Но как им призывать Того, в Кого они не поверили? Как поверить в Того, о Ком не слышали? И как услышать, если никто им не будет возвещать?

15 И как кто-либо может возвещать, не будучи посланным? Написано: «Как прекрасны ноги тех, кто возвещает Радостную Весть!»

16 Но не все израильтяне послушались Радостной Вести. Исаия говорит: «Господи, кто поверил слышанному от нас?»

17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

17 Итак, вера приходит от услышанного слова, слова о Христе.

18 Но я хочу спросить, разве они не слышали? Конечно же слышали, ведь написано: «Их голос проходит по всей земле, их слова — до краев света».

19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses spoke thus, I will provoke you to jealousy by a people that are not my people, and I will make you angry by a reckless people.

19 Тогда я спрашиваю: может быть, Израиль этого не понимал? Но ведь еще Моисей говорил словами Божьими: «Я пробужу в вас ревность через тех, кого и народом-то не назвать; Я разгневаю вас глупым народом».

20 Then Isaiah dared, and said, I appeared to those who did not seek me, and was found by those who did not ask for me.

20 А Исаия смело говорит слова Божьи: «Я найден теми, кто не искал Меня; Я открылся тем, кто не спрашивал Меня».

21 But to Israel he said, All the day long I have stretched out my hands to a quarrelsome and disobedient people.

21 Но об Израиле Бог говорит: «Весь день Я простирал руки Мои к непокорному и своевольному народу».
