Leviticus

Chapter 19

1 AND the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel and say to them, You shall be holy; for I the LORD your God am holy.

3 You must revere every man his father and his mother, and keep my commandments; for I am the LORD your God.

4 You shall not turn to idols nor make to yourselves molten gods; I am the LORD your God.

5 And if you offer a sacrifice of peace offering to the LORD, you shall offer the ones which are acceptable.

6 It shall be eaten the same day you offer it and on the morrow; and what is left over until the third day, it shall be burned in the fire and shall not be eaten.

7 And if it is eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; and it shall not be accepted.

8 Therefore every one who eats of it shall suffer for his iniquity, because he has profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD; and that person shall be cut off from among his people.

9 And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap your field to the very corners, neither shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest.

10 And you shall not glean your vineyards, neither shall you gather that which is fallen from your olive trees, but you shall leave them for the poor and the proselytes; for I am the LORD your God.

11 You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; neither shall you lie to one another.

12 You shall not swear by my name falsely and so profane the name of your God; I am the LORD.

13 You shall not oppress your neighbor, neither carry him away by force; the wages of him who is hired shall not remain with you all night until the morning.

14 You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind, but you shall revere your God; I am the LORD.

15 You shall do no injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor, nor respect the person of the mighty; but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor.

16 You shall not accuse your own people neither shall you stand against the blood of your neighbor; I am the LORD.

17 You shall not hate your brother in your heart; but you shall in any wise rebuke your neighbor, lost you incur sin because of him.

18 You shall not bear any enmity against the children of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the LORD.

19 You shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your cattle breed with a diverse kind; you shall not sow your field with mixed seed; neither shall you wear a mantle made of mixed materials.

20 And whosoever lies carnally with a woman who is his bondmaid betrothed to a husband, and not yet redeemed nor given her freedom, an inquiry shall be made into their case; and they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.

21 And he shall bring his trespass offering to the LORD, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, a ram for a trespass offering.

22 And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he has committed; and the sin which he has committed shall be forgiven him.

23 And when you shall come into the land and shall have planted all kinds of trees for food, then you shall leave them for three years, and you shall not eat of their fruit.

24 And in the fourth year all their fruit shall be holy to praise the LORD withal.

25 And in the fifth year you shall eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield to you the increase thereof; I am the LORD your God.

26 You shall not eat blood; you shall not practice divination with birds, nor shall you consult an oracle.

27 You shall not let the hair of your heads grow, neither shall you trim the corners of your beard.

28 You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor inscribe any marks upon you; I am the LORD.

29 You shall not permit your daughter to become a whore, lest the land fall to whoredom and the land become full of wickedness.

30 You shall keep my commandments and reverence my sanctuary; I am the LORD.

31 You shall not go after diviners, neither after the soothsayers, nor shall you consult them to be defiled by them; I am the LORD your God.

32 You shall rise up before an elder and honor the person who is older than you and revere your God; I am the LORD your God.

33 And when a proselyte sojourns with you in your land, you shall not wrong him;

34 But let him be among you as one of you; and the proselytes who sojourn among you, you must love them as yourselves; for you also were sojourners in the land of Egypt; I am the LORD your God.

35 You shall do no injustices in judgment, in balances, in weight, or in measure.

36 You shall have just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin; I am the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt.

37 Therefore you shall keep all my commandments and all my judgments, and do them; I am the LORD.

1 Господь обратился к Моисею с такими словами:

2 «Скажи всему народу Израиля: Я — Господь, Бог ваш! Будьте святы, потому что Я свят!

3 Каждый из вас должен почитать свою мать и своего отца и соблюдать особые дни отдыха. Я — Господь, Бог ваш!

4 Не поклоняйтесь идолам и не делайте себе статуи рукотворных богов. Я — Господь, Бог ваш!

5 Когда вы приносите жертву содружества Господу, делайте это по правилам, чтобы приобрести себе благоволение.

6 Вы можете есть её в день жертвоприношения, а также на следующий день; но на третий день вы должны сжечь на огне всё, что осталось от этого жертвоприношения.

7 Вы не должны есть ничего, что останется от этого жертвоприношения на третий день, потому что остатки эти нечисты и неприемлемы.

8 Всякий, делающий это, будет виновен в совершении греха! Он оскверняет святыни, принадлежащие Господу. Этот человек должен быть удалён от своего народа.

9 Когда вы собираете урожай во время жатвы, не доходите до самой межи своего поля, и, если зерно падает на землю, не подбирайте его.

10 Не собирайте виноград в своих виноградниках дочиста и не подбирайте упавшие на землю виноградины. Потому что вы должны оставить это бедным людям и чужеземцам в вашей стране. Я — Господь, Бог ваш!

11 Не крадите, не обманывайте людей и не лгите друг другу.

12 Не клянитесь Моим именем, давая ложные обещания. Поступая так, вы бесчестите имя Бога вашего. Я — Господь!

13 Не притесняй своего соседа и не грабь его. Не держи у себя плату нанятому работнику всю ночь до утра.

14 Не ругай глухого ради своей забавы и не клади ничего перед слепым, чтобы он упал. Почитай Бога своего. Я — Господь!

15 Суди справедливо. Не угождай ни бедным людям, ни важным людям. Будь справедлив, когда судишь ближнего своего.

16 Не ходи повсюду, разнося ложные слухи о других. Не подвергай опасности жизнь твоих ближних. Я — Господь!

17 Не имей вражды к твоему ближнему в сердце своём. Если сосед поступает неправильно, поговори с ним об этом, но прости его!

18 Забудь о том, что люди сделали тебе плохого. Не мсти. Люби ближнего своего, как самого себя. Я — Господь!

19 Соблюдай Мои законы. Не своди вместе животных двух разных пород. Не засевай своё поле двумя сортами семян. Не носи одежду, сделанную из двух разных сортов материи.

20 Если кто-либо имеет половые отношения с помолвленной женщиной, рабой другого человека, и эта рабыня не была ещё куплена или не получила свободу, их надо наказать, но не предавать смерти, так как эта женщина не была свободной.

21 Этот мужчина должен принести Господу жертву за грех у входа в шатёр собрания. Он должен принести барана в жертву за грех.

22 Священник сделает всё, что нужно, чтобы очистить этого человека. Священник принесёт барана в жертву за грех, и она будет за грехи, совершённые этим человеком, и он будет прощён за их совершение.

23 В будущем вы придёте в свою страну и посадите там много разных плодовых деревьев. После того как вы их посадите, вы должны ждать три года, прежде чем сможете есть их плоды.

24 На четвёртый год все плоды с этих деревьев должны принадлежать Господу; они будут святым приношением для восхваления Господа.

25 Затем, на пятый год, вы можете есть фрукты с этого дерева, и оно станет давать вам всё больше и больше плодов. Я — Господь, Бог ваш!

26 Не ешьте мясо, в котором ещё есть кровь. Не прибегайте к различного рода волшебству, чтобы предсказывать будущее.

27 Вы не должны подрезать волосы на голове, которые растут с обеих сторон лица, и не должны стричь свои бороды по краям.

28 Не делайте нарезов у себя на теле в память об умерших и не накалывайте на себе татуировку. Я — Господь!

29 Не заставляйте свою дочь заниматься блудом, так как, принуждая её к этому греху, вы заставите весь Израиль отвернуться от Бога и наполните сердца людей грехом! Не позволяйте людям в вашей стране блудодействовать и не допускайте, чтобы такой грех процветал в этой стране.

30 Вы не должны работать в Мои особые дни отдыха. Чтите Моё святилище. Я — Господь!

31 Не ходите за советом к волшебникам или к тем, кто вызывает души умерших. Не ходите к ним, так как они только сделают вас нечистыми. Я — Господь, Бог ваш!

32 Почитай старых людей. Вставай, когда они входят в комнату. Почитай Бога своего. Я — Господь!

33 Не обижайте чужеземцев, живущих в вашей стране!

34 Вы должны относиться к чужеземцам так, как и к своему собственному народу. Любите их, как себя, потому что и вы были когда-то чужеземцами в Египте. Я — Господь, Бог ваш!

35 Вы должны быть справедливыми в суде, в мере и измеряя вес.

36 Пусть ваши корзины будут правильного размера, ваши кувшины будут содержать правильное количество жидкости, а весы — показывать правильный вес. Я — Господь, Бог ваш! Я вывел вас из Египетской земли!

37 Вы должны помнить все Мои законы и правила и исполнять их. Я — Господь!»

4 Не поклоняйтесь идолам и не делайте себе статуи рукотворных богов. Я — Господь, Бог ваш!

5 And if you offer a sacrifice of peace offering to the LORD, you shall offer the ones which are acceptable.

5 Когда вы приносите жертву содружества Господу, делайте это по правилам, чтобы приобрести себе благоволение.

6 It shall be eaten the same day you offer it and on the morrow; and what is left over until the third day, it shall be burned in the fire and shall not be eaten.

7 And if it is eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; and it shall not be accepted.

11 Не крадите, не обманывайте людей и не лгите друг другу.

12 You shall not swear by my name falsely and so profane the name of your God; I am the LORD.

12 Не клянитесь Моим именем, давая ложные обещания. Поступая так, вы бесчестите имя Бога вашего. Я — Господь!

13 You shall not oppress your neighbor, neither carry him away by force; the wages of him who is hired shall not remain with you all night until the morning.

13 Не притесняй своего соседа и не грабь его. Не держи у себя плату нанятому работнику всю ночь до утра.

14 You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind, but you shall revere your God; I am the LORD.

14 Не ругай глухого ради своей забавы и не клади ничего перед слепым, чтобы он упал. Почитай Бога своего. Я — Господь!

15 You shall do no injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor, nor respect the person of the mighty; but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor.

15 Суди справедливо. Не угождай ни бедным людям, ни важным людям. Будь справедлив, когда судишь ближнего своего.

16 Не ходи повсюду, разнося ложные слухи о других. Не подвергай опасности жизнь твоих ближних. Я — Господь!

17 Не имей вражды к твоему ближнему в сердце своём. Если сосед поступает неправильно, поговори с ним об этом, но прости его!

18 Забудь о том, что люди сделали тебе плохого. Не мсти. Люби ближнего своего, как самого себя. Я — Господь!

23 В будущем вы придёте в свою страну и посадите там много разных плодовых деревьев. После того как вы их посадите, вы должны ждать три года, прежде чем сможете есть их плоды.

24 На четвёртый год все плоды с этих деревьев должны принадлежать Господу; они будут святым приношением для восхваления Господа.

34 Вы должны относиться к чужеземцам так, как и к своему собственному народу. Любите их, как себя, потому что и вы были когда-то чужеземцами в Египте. Я — Господь, Бог ваш!

37 Therefore you shall keep all my commandments and all my judgments, and do them; I am the LORD.

37 Вы должны помнить все Мои законы и правила и исполнять их. Я — Господь!»
