Ezekiel

Chapter 8

1 AND it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was sitting in my house, and the elders of Judah were sitting before me, that the hand of the LORD God fell there upon me.

2 Then I beheld, and 1o, a likeness as of the appearance of fire; from the loins and downward, fire; and from his loins and upward, brightness, as the appearance of God.

3 And he put forth the form of a hand, and caught me by a lock of my head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in a vision of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looks toward the north; where stood the image of lust, which provokes to lust.

4 And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision which I saw in the plain.

5 Then he said to me, Son of man, lift up your eyes now toward the way of the north. So I lifted up my eyes toward the way of the north, and behold, on the north side of the east gate stood the statue of lust in the entrance.

6 And he said to me, Son of man, do you see what they are doing, even the great abominations that the house of Israel are committing here, for they have gone far off from my sanctuary? But turn round again, and you shall see greater abominations which they are doing.

7 And he brought me in to the door of the court; and I looked, and behold, there was a hole in the wall.

8 Then he said to me, Son of man, dig in the wall; and when I had digged in the wall, behold, there I found a door.

9 And he said to me, Go in and see the abominations and wicked things that they do here.

10 So I went in and saw; and behold, every form of creeping things and abominable beasts and all the idols of the house of Israel portrayed upon the wall round about.

11 And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, and they were standing before him every man his censer in his hand; and the smoke of the cloud of incense went up.

12 Then he said to me, Son of man, do you see the thing which the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark, every man in his secret chamber? For they say, The LORD does not see us; because the LORD has forsaken the earth.

13 He said also to me, Turn round again, and you shall see greater abominations that they are doing.

14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD'S house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.

15 Then he said to me, Do you see this, O Son of man? Turn round again, and you shall see greater abominations than these.

16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD'S house, and behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, there stood about twenty-five men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

17 Then he said to me, Do you see this, O Son of man? Is it a little thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with iniquity, and have returned to provoke me to anger; and they sneer at me.

18 Therefore I will also deal in my fury; my eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; and though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, yet I will not listen to them.

2 И увидел7200 я: и вот подобие1823 мужа, как4758 бы огненное,784 и от чресл4975 его и ниже4295 — огонь,784 и от чресл4975 его и выше4605 — как4758 бы сияние,2096 как бы свет5869 пламени.2830

3 И простер7971 Он как8403 бы руку,3027 и взял3947 меня за волоса6734 головы7218 моей, и поднял5375 меня дух7307 между землею776 и небом,8064 и принес935 меня в видениях4759 Божиих430 в Иерусалим3389 ко входу6607 внутренних6442 ворот,8179 обращенных6437 к северу,6828 где поставлен4186 был идол5566 ревности,7068 возбуждающий7065 ревнование.7065

4 И вот, там была слава3519 Бога430 Израилева,3478 подобная4758 той, какую я видел7200 на поле.1237

5 И сказал559 мне: сын1121 человеческий!120 подними5375 глаза5869 твои к1870 северу.6828 И я поднял5375 глаза5869 мои к1870 северу,6828 и вот, с северной6828 стороны6828 у ворот8179 жертвенника4196 — тот идол5566 ревности7068 при входе.872

6 И сказал559 Он мне: сын1121 человеческий!120 видишь7200 ли ты, что они делают?6213 великие1419 мерзости,8441 какие делает6213 дом1004 Израилев3478 здесь, чтобы Я удалился7368 от святилища4720 Моего? но обратись,7725 и ты увидишь7200 еще большие1419 мерзости.8441

7 И привел935 меня ко входу6607 во двор,2691 и я взглянул,7200 и вот в стене7023 скважина.2592356

8 И сказал559 мне: сын1121 человеческий!120 прокопай2864 стену;7023 и я прокопал2864 стену,7023 и вот какая-то259 дверь.6607

9 И сказал559 мне: войди935 и посмотри7200 на отвратительные7451 мерзости,8441 какие они делают6213 здесь.

10 И вошел935 я, и вижу,7200 и вот всякие изображения8403 пресмыкающихся7431 и нечистых8263 животных929 и всякие идолы1544 дома1004 Израилева,3478 написанные2707 по стенам7023 кругом.5439

11 И семьдесят7657 мужей376 из старейшин2205 дома1004 Израилева3478 стоят5975 перед3942 ними, и Иезания,2970 сын1121 Сафанов,8227 среди8432 них; и у каждого376 в руке3027 свое кадило,4730 и густое6282 облако6051 курений7004 возносится5927 кверху.5927

12 И сказал559 мне: видишь7200 ли, сын1121 человеческий,120 что делают6213 старейшины2205 дома1004 Израилева3478 в темноте,2822 каждый376 в расписанной4906 своей комнате?2315 ибо говорят:559 «не видит7200 нас Господь,3068 оставил5800 Господь3068 землю776 сию».

13 И сказал559 мне: обратись,7725 и увидишь7200 еще большие1419 мерзости,8441 какие они делают.6213

14 И привел935 меня ко входу6607 в ворота8179 дома1004 Господня,3068 которые к северу,6828 и вот, там сидят3427 женщины,802 плачущие1058 по Фаммузе,8542

15 и сказал559 мне: видишь7200 ли, сын1121 человеческий?120 обратись,7725 и еще увидишь7200 большие1419 мерзости.8441

16 И ввел935 меня во внутренний6442 двор2691 дома1004 Господня,3068 и вот у дверей6607 храма1964 Господня,3068 между притвором197 и жертвенником,4196 около двадцати6242 пяти2568 мужей376 стоят спинами268 своими ко храму1964 Господню,3068 а лицами6440 своими на восток,6924 и кланяются7812 на восток6924 солнцу.8121

17 И сказал559 мне: видишь7200 ли, сын1121 человеческий?120 мало7043 ли дому1004 Иудину,3063 чтобы делать6213 такие мерзости,8441 какие они делают6213 здесь? но они еще землю776 наполнили4390 нечестием,2555 и сугубо7725 прогневляют3707 Меня; и вот, они ветви2156 подносят7971 к носам639 своим.

18 За то и Я стану6213 действовать6213 с яростью;2534 не пожалеет2347 око5869 Мое, и не помилую;2550 и хотя бы они взывали7121 в уши241 Мои громким1419 голосом,6963 не услышу8085 их.

2 И увидел7200 я: и вот подобие1823 мужа, как4758 бы огненное,784 и от чресл4975 его и ниже4295 — огонь,784 и от чресл4975 его и выше4605 — как4758 бы сияние,2096 как бы свет5869 пламени.2830

3 And he put forth the form of a hand, and caught me by a lock of my head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in a vision of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looks toward the north; where stood the image of lust, which provokes to lust.

4 And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision which I saw in the plain.

7 And he brought me in to the door of the court; and I looked, and behold, there was a hole in the wall.

7 И привел935 меня ко входу6607 во двор,2691 и я взглянул,7200 и вот в стене7023 скважина.2592356

8 Then he said to me, Son of man, dig in the wall; and when I had digged in the wall, behold, there I found a door.

9 And he said to me, Go in and see the abominations and wicked things that they do here.

10 So I went in and saw; and behold, every form of creeping things and abominable beasts and all the idols of the house of Israel portrayed upon the wall round about.

10 И вошел935 я, и вижу,7200 и вот всякие изображения8403 пресмыкающихся7431 и нечистых8263 животных929 и всякие идолы1544 дома1004 Израилева,3478 написанные2707 по стенам7023 кругом.5439

11 And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, and they were standing before him every man his censer in his hand; and the smoke of the cloud of incense went up.

11 И семьдесят7657 мужей376 из старейшин2205 дома1004 Израилева3478 стоят5975 перед3942 ними, и Иезания,2970 сын1121 Сафанов,8227 среди8432 них; и у каждого376 в руке3027 свое кадило,4730 и густое6282 облако6051 курений7004 возносится5927 кверху.5927

13 He said also to me, Turn round again, and you shall see greater abominations that they are doing.

13 И сказал559 мне: обратись,7725 и увидишь7200 еще большие1419 мерзости,8441 какие они делают.6213

15 Then he said to me, Do you see this, O Son of man? Turn round again, and you shall see greater abominations than these.

15 и сказал559 мне: видишь7200 ли, сын1121 человеческий?120 обратись,7725 и еще увидишь7200 большие1419 мерзости.8441

18 Therefore I will also deal in my fury; my eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; and though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, yet I will not listen to them.

18 За то и Я стану6213 действовать6213 с яростью;2534 не пожалеет2347 око5869 Мое, и не помилую;2550 и хотя бы они взывали7121 в уши241 Мои громким1419 голосом,6963 не услышу8085 их.
