Книга пророка Малахии

Глава 4

1 «Вот грядет День, пылающий, как печь, надменные и нечестивые соломе уподобятся, и сожжет их грядущий День, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств, — не останется от них ни корня, ни кроны.

2 Но для вас, благоговеющих пред именем Моим, взойдет солнце правды, исцеление — в его лучах, и вы, выйдете и взыграете, словно молодняк, выпущенный из загона.

3 В тот День, когда Я совершу сие, вы будете попирать нечестивых, ибо они обратятся во прах у вас под ногами, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств. —

4 Помните Закон Моисея, слуги Моего, который Я заповедал ему на Хориве, — правила и установления для всего Израиля.

5 Знайте же, перед тем как придет День ГОСПОДЕНЬ, День великий и страшный, пророка Илию пошлю Я к вам.

6 Он обратит сердца отцов к детям и сердца детей — к отцам, чтобы, придя, не поразил Я проклятием землю».

Chapter 4

1 FOR behold, the days are coming when my anger shall burn as an oven; and all the wicked and all who do iniquity shall be stubble; and the day that comes shall burn them up, says the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

2 But for you who revere my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing upon his lips; and you shall go forth and leap for joy like the calves of the herd.

3 And you shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, says the LORD of hosts.

4 Remember the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD;

6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to their fathers before I come and smite the earth to ruin.
