Книга пророка Иеремии

Глава 35

1 Слово, которое было к Иеремии от Иеговы, во дни Иоакима, сына Иосиина, царя иудейского; ему сказано:

2 Пойди в дом Рехавитов, и уговори их, и приведи их в дом Иеговы, в одну из комнат, и дай им пить вина.

3 Я взял Иазанию, сына Иеремии, сына Аваццинии, и братьев его, и всех сыновей его, и весь дом Рехавитов;

4 И привел их в дом Иеговы, в комнату сынов Анана, сына Иегдалии, человека Божия, которая подле комнаты княжеской, над комнатою Маасеи, сына Шаллумова, стража прагов.

5 И поставил пред сынами Рехавитского дома полные чаши вина и кубки, и сказал им: пейте вино.

6 Они сказали: мы вина не пьем, потому что Ионадав, сын Рехава, отец наш, дал нам завещание, сказав: не пейте вина, ни вы, ни дети ваши во веки;

7 И домов не стройте, и семен не сейте, и виноградников не разводите, чтоб их не было у вас; но живите в шатрах во все дни жизни вашей, чтоб долгое время прожить на той земле, где кочевать будете.

8 И мы слушаемся повеления Ионадава, сына Рехавова, отца нашего, во всем, что он завещал нам, так что не пьем вина во все дни наши, ни мы, ни жены наши, ни сыновья наши, ни дочери наши,

9 И не строим домов для жительства нашего, и виноградников, и полей, и хлебного посева нет у нас;

10 А живем в шатрах, и слушаемся, и поступаем во всем так, как завещал нам Ионадав, отец наш.

11 Только тогда, когда Невухаднецар, царь вавилонский, пришел на землю сию, мы сказали: `пойдем в Иерусалим от войска халдейского, и от войска арамейского, и поживем в Иерусалиме`.

12 И было слово Иеговы к Иеремии, и сказано:

13 Так говорит Иегова воинств, Бог Израилев: пойди, и скажи Иудеям и жителям Иерусалима: а вы не возьмете с них примера, чтоб слушаться слов Моих? говорит Иегова.

14 Слова Ионадава, сына Рехавова, который завещал детям своим не пить вина, выполняются, и они не пьют до сего дня, потому что слушаются завещания отца своего; а я говорю вам, говорю с раннего утра, и вы не слушаете Меня?

15 Я посылаю к вам всех рабов Моих, пророков, посылаю с раннего утра, говоря: обратитесь каждый от пути своего порочного, и исправьте нравы ваши, и не ходите за другими богами, чтоб служить им; и живите на земле, которую Я дал вам, и отцам вашим, но вы не приклоняете уха своего, и не слушаете Меня.

16 Да, сыновья Ионадава, сына Рехавова, выполняют завещание отца своего, которое он завещал им, а народ сей Меня не слушает.

17 Посему так говорит Иегова, Бог воинств, Бог Израилев: вот Я наведу на Иудею, и на всех жителей Иерусалима все злое, что Я изрек на них, за то, что Я говорю им, а они не слушают, зову их, а они не отвечают.

18 А дому Рехавитов сказал Иеремия: так говорит Иегова воинств, Бог Израилев: за то, что вы слушаете завещания Ионадава, отца вашего, и храните все заповеданное им, и во всем поступаете, как он завещал вам,

19 За то так говорит Иегова воинств, Бог Израилев: не исчезнет у Ионадава, сына Рехавова, человек предстоящий пред лицом Моим во все дни.

Jeremiah

Chapter 35

1 THE word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,

2 Go to the house of the Rechabites and speak to them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.

3 Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Amariah, the son of Habaziniah, and his brothers and all his sons and the whole house of the Rechabites;

4 And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Gedaliah, a prophet of God, whose house was near the chamber of the princes, who dwell above the house of Maasiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door;

5 And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites vessels full of wine, and cups, and I said to them, Drink wine;

6 But they said, We will drink no wine; for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, You shall drink no wine, neither you nor your sons for ever;

7 Neither shall you build houses for yourselves nor sow seed nor plant vineyards nor have any; but you shall dwell in tents all your days; for you shall live many days in the land where you sojourn.

8 Thus we have obeyed the command of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he has charged us, to drink no wine all our days, neither we nor our wives nor our sons nor our daughters;

9 Nor to build houses for ourselves to dwell in; neither to have vineyards nor fields nor seed;

10 But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.

11 But it came to pass when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against the land, we said, Come and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans and for fear of the army of Edom; so we dwell in Jerusalem.

12 Then the word of the LORD came to the prophet Jeremiah, saying,

13 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will you not receive instruction to hearken to my words? says the LORD.

14 The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, who commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for to this day they drink none, for they have obeyed their father's commandment; yet I have spoken to you and warned you in advance; but you have not listened to me.

15 I have sent also to you all my servants the prophets, sending them in advance, saying, Repent now every man from his evil way and amend your doings and do not go after other gods to serve them, and you shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers; but you have not inclined your ear nor listened to me.

16 Behold, the sons of Jonadab have faithfully kept the commandment of their father, who commanded them, but this people has not hearkened to me;

17 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them; because I have warned them, but they have not listened; and I have called to them, but they have not answered me.

18 And Jeremiah said to the house of the Rechabites, Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Because you have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts and done according to all that he has commanded you,

19 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not lack an heir to stand before me for ever.

1 THE word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,

2 Пойди в дом Рехавитов, и уговори их, и приведи их в дом Иеговы, в одну из комнат, и дай им пить вина.

2 Go to the house of the Rechabites and speak to them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.

3 Я взял Иазанию, сына Иеремии, сына Аваццинии, и братьев его, и всех сыновей его, и весь дом Рехавитов;

3 Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Amariah, the son of Habaziniah, and his brothers and all his sons and the whole house of the Rechabites;

4 И привел их в дом Иеговы, в комнату сынов Анана, сына Иегдалии, человека Божия, которая подле комнаты княжеской, над комнатою Маасеи, сына Шаллумова, стража прагов.

4 And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Gedaliah, a prophet of God, whose house was near the chamber of the princes, who dwell above the house of Maasiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door;

5 И поставил пред сынами Рехавитского дома полные чаши вина и кубки, и сказал им: пейте вино.

5 And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites vessels full of wine, and cups, and I said to them, Drink wine;

6 Они сказали: мы вина не пьем, потому что Ионадав, сын Рехава, отец наш, дал нам завещание, сказав: не пейте вина, ни вы, ни дети ваши во веки;

6 But they said, We will drink no wine; for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, You shall drink no wine, neither you nor your sons for ever;

7 И домов не стройте, и семен не сейте, и виноградников не разводите, чтоб их не было у вас; но живите в шатрах во все дни жизни вашей, чтоб долгое время прожить на той земле, где кочевать будете.

7 Neither shall you build houses for yourselves nor sow seed nor plant vineyards nor have any; but you shall dwell in tents all your days; for you shall live many days in the land where you sojourn.

8 И мы слушаемся повеления Ионадава, сына Рехавова, отца нашего, во всем, что он завещал нам, так что не пьем вина во все дни наши, ни мы, ни жены наши, ни сыновья наши, ни дочери наши,

8 Thus we have obeyed the command of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he has charged us, to drink no wine all our days, neither we nor our wives nor our sons nor our daughters;

9 И не строим домов для жительства нашего, и виноградников, и полей, и хлебного посева нет у нас;

9 Nor to build houses for ourselves to dwell in; neither to have vineyards nor fields nor seed;

10 А живем в шатрах, и слушаемся, и поступаем во всем так, как завещал нам Ионадав, отец наш.

10 But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.

11 Только тогда, когда Невухаднецар, царь вавилонский, пришел на землю сию, мы сказали: `пойдем в Иерусалим от войска халдейского, и от войска арамейского, и поживем в Иерусалиме`.

11 But it came to pass when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against the land, we said, Come and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans and for fear of the army of Edom; so we dwell in Jerusalem.

12 И было слово Иеговы к Иеремии, и сказано:

12 Then the word of the LORD came to the prophet Jeremiah, saying,

13 Так говорит Иегова воинств, Бог Израилев: пойди, и скажи Иудеям и жителям Иерусалима: а вы не возьмете с них примера, чтоб слушаться слов Моих? говорит Иегова.

13 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will you not receive instruction to hearken to my words? says the LORD.

14 Слова Ионадава, сына Рехавова, который завещал детям своим не пить вина, выполняются, и они не пьют до сего дня, потому что слушаются завещания отца своего; а я говорю вам, говорю с раннего утра, и вы не слушаете Меня?

14 The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, who commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for to this day they drink none, for they have obeyed their father's commandment; yet I have spoken to you and warned you in advance; but you have not listened to me.

15 Я посылаю к вам всех рабов Моих, пророков, посылаю с раннего утра, говоря: обратитесь каждый от пути своего порочного, и исправьте нравы ваши, и не ходите за другими богами, чтоб служить им; и живите на земле, которую Я дал вам, и отцам вашим, но вы не приклоняете уха своего, и не слушаете Меня.

15 I have sent also to you all my servants the prophets, sending them in advance, saying, Repent now every man from his evil way and amend your doings and do not go after other gods to serve them, and you shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers; but you have not inclined your ear nor listened to me.

16 Да, сыновья Ионадава, сына Рехавова, выполняют завещание отца своего, которое он завещал им, а народ сей Меня не слушает.

16 Behold, the sons of Jonadab have faithfully kept the commandment of their father, who commanded them, but this people has not hearkened to me;

17 Посему так говорит Иегова, Бог воинств, Бог Израилев: вот Я наведу на Иудею, и на всех жителей Иерусалима все злое, что Я изрек на них, за то, что Я говорю им, а они не слушают, зову их, а они не отвечают.

17 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them; because I have warned them, but they have not listened; and I have called to them, but they have not answered me.

18 А дому Рехавитов сказал Иеремия: так говорит Иегова воинств, Бог Израилев: за то, что вы слушаете завещания Ионадава, отца вашего, и храните все заповеданное им, и во всем поступаете, как он завещал вам,

18 And Jeremiah said to the house of the Rechabites, Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Because you have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts and done according to all that he has commanded you,

19 За то так говорит Иегова воинств, Бог Израилев: не исчезнет у Ионадава, сына Рехавова, человек предстоящий пред лицом Моим во все дни.

19 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not lack an heir to stand before me for ever.
