Книга пророка Малахии

Глава 2

1 Итак вам, священники, сие увещание.

2 Если не послушаете, и не обратите на то внимания, чтоб имени Моему воздать славу, говорит Иегова воинств; то Я пошлю на вас проклятие, и прокляну благословения ваши; прокляну и сие, потому что вы не обращаете внимания.

3 Вот Я запрещу у вас семенам; и закидаю лица ваши калом, калом праздничных жертв ваших, и поднесут вас к нему,

4 И узнаете, что Я посылал вам сие увещание, дабы состоялся завет Мой с Левием, говорит Иегова воинств.

5 Завет Мой с ним был жизнь и мир (и Я это давал ему), богобоязненность, и он боялся Меня, и благоговел пред Моим именем.

6 Закон истины был в устах его, и не находилась на языке его неправда; он ходил со Мною в мире и искренности, и многих отвратил от беззакония.

7 Ибо язык священника есть хранилище ведения; и закона ждут из уст его, потому что он вестник Иеговы воинств.

8 А вы отклонились от пути, многих сделали преступниками закона, нарушили завет Левия, говорит Иегова воинств.

9 И Я сделаю вас презренными и низкими пред всем народом, за то что вы не держитесь путей Моих и лицемерите в законе.

10 Не один ли у всех нас Отец? не один ли Бог сотворил нас? Зачем же мы неверны друг другу, преступая завет отцев наших?

11 Вероломна Иудея, и мерзость совершается у Израиля и в Иерусалиме: ибо Иуда унизил святыню Иеговы тем, что любит и берет в супружество дочь бога чужого.

12 У человека, который делает это, отнимет Иегова бодрствующего и откликающегося в шатрах Иаковлевых и приносящего дары Иегове воинств.

13 Во-вторых, вот что у вас происходит: вы обливаете жертвенник Иеговы слезами с воплем и стоном, так что Он уже не смотрит на приношение, и ничего не принимает из рук ваших с благоволением.

14 Вы скажете: `за что?` за то, что Иегова свидетель между тобою и между женою юности твоей; а ты неверен ей, тогда как она твоя супруга и жена завета твоего.

15 И не сделает сего ни один человек, у которого еще есть Дух Божий; и как это сделал бы кто-нибудь ищущий семени Божия? Итак храните дух ваш, и никто не будь неверен жене юности своей.

16 Ибо Я не люблю разводов, говорит Иегова, Бог Израилев, и того, чью одежду покрывает несправедливость, говорит Иегова воинств: итак, храните дух ваш и не будьте впредь вероломны.

17 Досаждаете вы Иегове словами своими. Вы скажете: `чем мы досаждаем?` Тем, что говорите, будто всякий, делающий зло угоден Богу, и будто Он благоволит к таким, или иначе: `где Бог правосудия?`

Malachi

Chapter 2

1 NOW therefore, O priests, this commandment is for you.

2 If you will not obey, and if you will not lay it to heart to give glory to my name, says the LORD of hosts, I will send curses upon you, and I will curse your blessings because you have not laid it to your heart.

3 Behold, I will rebuke the seed of the ground, and spread dung upon your faces, even dung upon your solemn feasts; and I will cause you to be taken away with it.

4 And you shall know that I have sent this commandment to you, that my covenant might be with Levi, says the LORD of hosts.

5 My covenant was with him, and I gave him life and peace; and as for fear, he feared me and trembled before my name.

6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips; he walked with me in peace and uprightness, and he did turn many away from iniquity.

7 For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge, because men seek the law from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

8 But you have turned aside from the way; you have caused many to stumble at the law; you have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the LORD of hosts.

9 Therefore have I also made you contemptible and humiliated before all the people, because you have not kept the ordinances, but have been partial in the law.

10 Have we not all one father? Or has not one God created us? Why then do we deal treacherously every man against his brother by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

11 Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has defiled the sanctuary of the LORD of hosts and has loved and served foreign gods.

12 The LORD will destroy the man who does this, and also his son and his son's son out of the tabernacle of Jacob; and he shall have none to present the offering to the LORD of hosts.

13 And this is another thing that you have done: you have covered the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with groaning, because he does not regard your offering any more or accept it with good will at your hands.

14 And if you say, For what reason? Because the LORD was witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously though she is your companion and the wife of your covenant.

15 Did not he make them one? And the rest of the spirits are his also. And therefore a man seeks one offspring from God. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

16 For the LORD, the God of Israel, says that no one should conceal the iniquity in his robe; therefore take heed to your spirit, and do not deal treacherously.

17 You have wearied the LORD with your words. And if you say, In what have we wearied him? In that you say, Every one who does evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delights in such; or, Where is the God who judges righteous judgments?

1 Итак вам, священники, сие увещание.

6 Закон истины был в устах его, и не находилась на языке его неправда; он ходил со Мною в мире и искренности, и многих отвратил от беззакония.

6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips; he walked with me in peace and uprightness, and he did turn many away from iniquity.

7 Ибо язык священника есть хранилище ведения; и закона ждут из уст его, потому что он вестник Иеговы воинств.

7 For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge, because men seek the law from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

8 А вы отклонились от пути, многих сделали преступниками закона, нарушили завет Левия, говорит Иегова воинств.

8 But you have turned aside from the way; you have caused many to stumble at the law; you have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the LORD of hosts.

9 И Я сделаю вас презренными и низкими пред всем народом, за то что вы не держитесь путей Моих и лицемерите в законе.

9 Therefore have I also made you contemptible and humiliated before all the people, because you have not kept the ordinances, but have been partial in the law.

10 Не один ли у всех нас Отец? не один ли Бог сотворил нас? Зачем же мы неверны друг другу, преступая завет отцев наших?

10 Have we not all one father? Or has not one God created us? Why then do we deal treacherously every man against his brother by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

11 Вероломна Иудея, и мерзость совершается у Израиля и в Иерусалиме: ибо Иуда унизил святыню Иеговы тем, что любит и берет в супружество дочь бога чужого.

11 Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has defiled the sanctuary of the LORD of hosts and has loved and served foreign gods.

12 У человека, который делает это, отнимет Иегова бодрствующего и откликающегося в шатрах Иаковлевых и приносящего дары Иегове воинств.

13 Во-вторых, вот что у вас происходит: вы обливаете жертвенник Иеговы слезами с воплем и стоном, так что Он уже не смотрит на приношение, и ничего не принимает из рук ваших с благоволением.

13 And this is another thing that you have done: you have covered the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with groaning, because he does not regard your offering any more or accept it with good will at your hands.

14 Вы скажете: `за что?` за то, что Иегова свидетель между тобою и между женою юности твоей; а ты неверен ей, тогда как она твоя супруга и жена завета твоего.

15 И не сделает сего ни один человек, у которого еще есть Дух Божий; и как это сделал бы кто-нибудь ищущий семени Божия? Итак храните дух ваш, и никто не будь неверен жене юности своей.

16 Ибо Я не люблю разводов, говорит Иегова, Бог Израилев, и того, чью одежду покрывает несправедливость, говорит Иегова воинств: итак, храните дух ваш и не будьте впредь вероломны.

16 For the LORD, the God of Israel, says that no one should conceal the iniquity in his robe; therefore take heed to your spirit, and do not deal treacherously.

17 Досаждаете вы Иегове словами своими. Вы скажете: `чем мы досаждаем?` Тем, что говорите, будто всякий, делающий зло угоден Богу, и будто Он благоволит к таким, или иначе: `где Бог правосудия?`

17 You have wearied the LORD with your words. And if you say, In what have we wearied him? In that you say, Every one who does evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delights in such; or, Where is the God who judges righteous judgments?
