2 «Подольше потерпи, у Бога есть что сказать через меня.
3 Я мою мудрость с каждым разделю, Господь меня создал, и справедливость Господнюю я докажу.
4 Слова мои правдивы, и я знаю, о чём я говорю.
5 Бог всемогущ, но Он людей не презирает. Могущества и мудрости полон Он.
6 Господь существовать не позволяет злобным, и справедливостью Он бедных награждает.
7 С праведных Господь не сводит глаз и делает властителями их.
8 И если наказанию подверглись люди иль цепями спутаны они, значит в своих поступках они несправедливы были.
9 И расскажет людям Бог об их делах, Он объяснит, что согрешили они и что гордыня их поглотила.
10 Господь заставит слушать их Его предупреждения, Он повелит: „Прекратите совершать грехи!”
11 И если эти люди подчинятся, тогда Господь пошлёт удачу им и сделает счастливой жизнь.
12 Но будут уничтожены они, когда не подчинятся, и умрут, глупцам подобно.
13 Но те, кто не принимают Бога в сердце, всегда озлоблены и даже в наказании отказываются о помощи Его молить.
14 Поэтому к ним в молодости смерть приходит, как к юным блудникам.
15 Но кто страдает, тех Господь спасает в их страданьях, Он слышит их в беде.
16 Господь тебе помочь желает, Он хочет жизнь облегчить твою, а также изобилием благословить твой стол.
17 Но признан виноватым ты, Иов, и ты наказан, как наказывают злых.
18 Не позволяй, Иов, чтоб гнев твой заставил тебя усомниться в Боге. Не думай, что великое богатство сможет повлиять на решения Его.
19 Теперь тебе ни деньги не помогут, ни могущественные люди.
20 Не жди, Иов, прихода ночи, подобно людям, которые надеются, что в темноте найдут укрытие от Бога.
21 Иов, хотя ты и страдал немало, но зла не избирай! Будь осторожен, не совершай греха!
22 Бог всемогущ! Он величайший из всех учителей!
23 Никто не может Господу сказать, что делать, никто сказать Ему не может, что Он неправ.
24 Не забывай Господу возносить хвалу за Его дела, как многие в своих песнях восхваляли.
25 Дела Господние может видеть каждый, и даже живущие в далёких странах.
26 Да, Бог велик, но мы не в состоянии Его величья оценить, даже не знаем возраста Его.
27 Он воду с земли собирает, превращает во влагу, и она опадает дождями.
28 Облака их приносят, и многих дождь омывает.
29 Никто не в состоянии понять, как Бог их посылает или как гром грохочет в небесах.
30 Взгляни, Бог разбрасывает молнии на небесах и покрывает все глубины океана.
31 Господь использует их для того, чтоб управлять народами и всех их накормить.
32 Он молнии берёт руками и велит им бить туда, куда Он хочет.
33 И гром предупреждает о грозе, и даже звери это понимают».
