Деяния апостолов

Глава 4

1 В то время, когда Пётр и Иоанн беседовали с народом, к ним подошли священники, начальник стражников храма и саддукеи.

2 Они были раздосадованы тем, что Пётр и Иоанн учат народ и, говоря об Иисусе, возвещают людям воскресение из мёртвых.

3 Иудейские предводители арестовали апостолов и посадили их в тюрьму до следующего дня, так как был уже вечер.

4 Но многие, слышавшие слово, поверили, и число верующих достигло около пяти тысяч мужчин.

5 На следующий день иудейские предводители, старейшины и законники собрались в Иерусалиме.

6 Там были также первосвященник Анна, Каиафа, Иоанн, Александр и все, принадлежавшие к роду первосвященника.

7 Поставив перед собой апостолов, они начали допрашивать их: «Какой властью и чьим именем вы сделали это?»

8 Тогда Пётр, исполнившись Святого Духа, ответил им: «Предводители народные и старейшины!

9 Если уж нас допрашивают сегодня о благодеянии, оказанном калеке, и спрашивают, как он был исцелён,

10 то вы все и весь народ Израиля должны знать: это сделано именем Иисуса Христа из Назарета, Которого вы распяли и Которого Бог воскресил из мёртвых. Этот человек стоит перед вами, полностью исцелённый, благодаря силе Иисуса.

11 Иисус — „камень, отвергнутый вами, строителями, стал краеугольным”.

12 Только в Нём одном спасение, потому что нет другого имени под небесами, данного людям, через которое мы можем обрести спасение».

13 Иудейские предводители поняли, что Пётр и Иоанн простые и необразованные люди. Увидев, однако же, смелость их речей, они были изумлены, а потом поняли, что Пётр и Иоанн были с Иисусом.

14 Но, так как рядом с апостолами стоял исцелённый ими человек, иудеи ничего не смогли сказать.

15 Приказав Петру и Иоанну покинуть синедрион, предводители стали совещаться друг с другом:

16 «Что же нам делать с этими людьми, потому что каждому, живущему в Иерусалиме, ясно, что через них было совершено великое чудо, и мы не можем отрицать этого.

17 Но чтобы дальше это не распространялось в народе, мы прикажем им, чтобы они ни с кем не говорили от имени Иисуса».

18 Они позвали апостолов и приказали им ни в коем случае не говорить и не учить во имя Иисуса.

19 Но Пётр и Иоанн ответили им: «Рассудите, справедливо ли перед Богом слушать вас больше, чем Бога?

20 Мы не можем не говорить о том, что видели и слышали».

21 Снова пригрозив апостолам, иудейские предводители отпустили их, потому что не могли найти повод наказать их, так как весь народ воздавал хвалу Богу за происшедшее.

22 Ведь человеку, над которым свершилось чудо исцеления, было больше сорока лет.

23 После того как Петра и Иоанна освободили, они пришли к своим сторонникам и рассказали им обо всём, что сказали главные священники и старейшины.

24 Услышав это, все верующие воззвали к Богу: «Владыка, Ты создал небо и землю, море и всё в мире.

25 Это Ты сказал через Святого Духа устами слуги Твоего Давида, предка нашего: „Почему были дерзки народы и замышляли тщетное?

26 Цари земные приготовились к битве, а правители собрались вместе против Господа и Его Христа”.

27 Всё это в самом деле случилось в то время, когда Ирод и Понтий Пилат вместе с иудеями и другими народами собрались в Иерусалиме против святого слуги Твоего Иисуса, Того, Кого Ты избрал Христом.

28 Они собрались, чтобы свершилось то, что было предопределено Тобой, согласно воле и власти Твоей.

29 Взгляни теперь, Господи, на их угрозы и помоги Твоим слугам со всем дерзновением проповедовать Твоё слово,

30 простирая руку Твою для исцеления, для знамений и чудес, совершаемых именем Иисуса — Твоего святого слуги».

31 Когда они закончили молиться, место, где они собрались, содрогнулось, и, преисполнившись Духа Святого, все стали смело говорить, провозглашая слово Божье.

32 У всех уверовавших было одно сердце и одна душа. И никто ничего из своего имущества не называл своим собственным, и всё у них было общее.

33 С великой силой апостолы свидетельствовали о воскресении Господа Иисуса, и Божье щедрое благословение было на них.

34 И не было нуждающихся среди них, так как те, кто владели землёй или домами, продавали их, а затем приносили деньги, вырученные от продажи,

35 и отдавали апостолам. Всё распределялось между людьми — кто в чём нуждался.

36 Так поступил и Иосиф, левит, урождённый киприянин, которого апостолы называли также Варнавой (что в переводе означает «помогающий другим»).

37 У него было поле, он продал его, принёс деньги и отдал их апостолам.

Chapter 4

1 AND while they were speaking these words to the people, the priests and the Sad'du-cees and the leaders of the temple rose up against them,

2 Being infuriated that they taught the people and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

3 And they laid hands on them and detained them until the next day, for it was now eventide.

4 Howbeit many of them who heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.

5 And the next day, the leaders and the elders and the scribes gathered together;

6 And also Annas the high priest, and Ca'iaphas and John and Alexander and those who were of the family of the high priest.

7 And when they had made them to stand in the midst, they asked, By what power or by what name have you done this?

8 Then Simon Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, Leaders of the people and elders of the house of Israel, listen.

9 If we are convicted today by you, concerning the good which has been done to a sick man, on the ground of by what means he was healed;

10 Then let it be known to you, and to all the people of Israel, By the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, and whom God raised from the dead, behold this man stands before you, healed.

11 This is the stone which you builders have rejected, which is become the head of the corner.

12 There is no salvation by any other man; for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

13 Now when they had heard the speech of Simon Peter and John, which they had spoken boldly, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they recognized them that they had been with Jesus.

14 And because they saw the lame man who was healed standing with them they could say nothing against them.

15 But when they had commanded them to be taken aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,

16 Saying, What shall we do to these men? for behold a miracle has openly been performed by them and it is known to all that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.

17 But, so that this news should not spread further among the people, let us threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.

18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

19 But Simon Peter and John answered and said to them, Whether it be right before God to listen to you more than to God, you judge.

20 For we cannot stop speaking about the things which we have seen and heard.

21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go; for they found no cause to punish them because of the people: for all men praised God for that which was done.

22 For the man on whom this miracle of healing had been wrought, was more than forty years old.

23 After they were released, they went to their brethren and told them all that the high priests and elders had said.

24 And when they heard this, they all together lifted up their voice to God and said, O LORD, you are the God who has made heaven and earth and the seas and all that in them is:

25 You are the One who spoke through the Holy Spirit by the mouth of your servant David when he said, Why did the people rage and the nations devise worthless things?

26 The kings and the rulers of the earth have revolted and have taken counsel together against the LORD and against his Anointed.

27 For truly, they assembled in this very city, together with both Herod and Pilate and with the Gentiles and with the people of Israel, against your holy Son Jesus,

28 To execute whatever your hand and your will had previously decreed to take place.

29 And even now, O LORD, look and see their threatenings; and grant to your servants that they may freely preach your word,

30 Just as your hand is freely stretched out for healings, and wonders and the miracles which are done in the name of your holy Son Jesus.

31 And when they had petitioned and made their supplications, the place in which they were assembled together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and they spoke the word of God boldly.

32 Now the congregation of the believers were of one soul and of one mind; not one of them spoke of the property he possessed as his own; but everything they had was in common.

33 And the apostles testified with great power concerning the resurrection of Jesus Christ; and they were all greatly favored.

34 There was not a man among them who was destitute; for those who possessed fields and houses sold them and brought the money for the things that were sold,

35 And placed them at the disposal of the disciples; and the proceeds were then given to every man according to his needs.

36 Now Joseph whom the apostles surnamed Bar'na-bas (which is, interpreted, the son of consolation), a Levite of the country of Cy'prus,

37 Had a field and he sold it and brought the price and placed it at the disposal of the apostles.

5 На следующий день иудейские предводители, старейшины и законники собрались в Иерусалиме.	5 And the next day, the leaders and the elders and the scribes gathered together;
6 Там были также первосвященник Анна, Каиафа, Иоанн, Александр и все, принадлежавшие к роду первосвященника.	6 And also Annas the high priest, and Ca'iaphas and John and Alexander and those who were of the family of the high priest.
7 Поставив перед собой апостолов, они начали допрашивать их: «Какой властью и чьим именем вы сделали это?»	7 And when they had made them to stand in the midst, they asked, By what power or by what name have you done this?
8 Тогда Пётр, исполнившись Святого Духа, ответил им: «Предводители народные и старейшины!	8 Then Simon Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, Leaders of the people and elders of the house of Israel, listen.
9 Если уж нас допрашивают сегодня о благодеянии, оказанном калеке, и спрашивают, как он был исцелён,	9 If we are convicted today by you, concerning the good which has been done to a sick man, on the ground of by what means he was healed;
10 то вы все и весь народ Израиля должны знать: это сделано именем Иисуса Христа из Назарета, Которого вы распяли и Которого Бог воскресил из мёртвых. Этот человек стоит перед вами, полностью исцелённый, благодаря силе Иисуса.	10 Then let it be known to you, and to all the people of Israel, By the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, and whom God raised from the dead, behold this man stands before you, healed.
11 Иисус — „камень, отвергнутый вами, строителями, стал краеугольным”.	11 This is the stone which you builders have rejected, which is become the head of the corner.
12 Только в Нём одном спасение, потому что нет другого имени под небесами, данного людям, через которое мы можем обрести спасение».	12 There is no salvation by any other man; for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
13 Иудейские предводители поняли, что Пётр и Иоанн простые и необразованные люди. Увидев, однако же, смелость их речей, они были изумлены, а потом поняли, что Пётр и Иоанн были с Иисусом.	13 Now when they had heard the speech of Simon Peter and John, which they had spoken boldly, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they recognized them that they had been with Jesus.
14 Но, так как рядом с апостолами стоял исцелённый ими человек, иудеи ничего не смогли сказать.	14 And because they saw the lame man who was healed standing with them they could say nothing against them.
15 Приказав Петру и Иоанну покинуть синедрион, предводители стали совещаться друг с другом:	15 But when they had commanded them to be taken aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,
16 «Что же нам делать с этими людьми, потому что каждому, живущему в Иерусалиме, ясно, что через них было совершено великое чудо, и мы не можем отрицать этого.	16 Saying, What shall we do to these men? for behold a miracle has openly been performed by them and it is known to all that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.
17 Но чтобы дальше это не распространялось в народе, мы прикажем им, чтобы они ни с кем не говорили от имени Иисуса».	17 But, so that this news should not spread further among the people, let us threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.
18 Они позвали апостолов и приказали им ни в коем случае не говорить и не учить во имя Иисуса.	18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
19 Но Пётр и Иоанн ответили им: «Рассудите, справедливо ли перед Богом слушать вас больше, чем Бога?	19 But Simon Peter and John answered and said to them, Whether it be right before God to listen to you more than to God, you judge.
20 Мы не можем не говорить о том, что видели и слышали».	20 For we cannot stop speaking about the things which we have seen and heard.
21 Снова пригрозив апостолам, иудейские предводители отпустили их, потому что не могли найти повод наказать их, так как весь народ воздавал хвалу Богу за происшедшее.	21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go; for they found no cause to punish them because of the people: for all men praised God for that which was done.
22 Ведь человеку, над которым свершилось чудо исцеления, было больше сорока лет.	22 For the man on whom this miracle of healing had been wrought, was more than forty years old.
23 После того как Петра и Иоанна освободили, они пришли к своим сторонникам и рассказали им обо всём, что сказали главные священники и старейшины.	23 After they were released, they went to their brethren and told them all that the high priests and elders had said.
24 Услышав это, все верующие воззвали к Богу: «Владыка, Ты создал небо и землю, море и всё в мире.	24 And when they heard this, they all together lifted up their voice to God and said, O LORD, you are the God who has made heaven and earth and the seas and all that in them is:
25 Это Ты сказал через Святого Духа устами слуги Твоего Давида, предка нашего: „Почему были дерзки народы и замышляли тщетное?	25 You are the One who spoke through the Holy Spirit by the mouth of your servant David when he said, Why did the people rage and the nations devise worthless things?
26 Цари земные приготовились к битве, а правители собрались вместе против Господа и Его Христа”.	26 The kings and the rulers of the earth have revolted and have taken counsel together against the LORD and against his Anointed.
27 Всё это в самом деле случилось в то время, когда Ирод и Понтий Пилат вместе с иудеями и другими народами собрались в Иерусалиме против святого слуги Твоего Иисуса, Того, Кого Ты избрал Христом.	27 For truly, they assembled in this very city, together with both Herod and Pilate and with the Gentiles and with the people of Israel, against your holy Son Jesus,
28 Они собрались, чтобы свершилось то, что было предопределено Тобой, согласно воле и власти Твоей.	28 To execute whatever your hand and your will had previously decreed to take place.
