1 Слово,1697 которое было к Иеремии3414 от Господа,3068 когда Навуходоносор,5019 царь4428 Вавилонский,894 и все войско2428 его и все царства4467 земли,776 подвластные4475 руке3027 его, и все народы5971 воевали3898 против Иерусалима3389 и против всех городов5892 его:

2 так говорит559 Господь,3068 Бог430 Израилев:3478 иди1980 и скажи559 Седекии,6667 царю4428 Иудейскому,3063 и скажи559 ему: так говорит559 Господь:3068 вот, Я отдаю5414 город5892 сей в руки3027 царя4428 Вавилонского,894 и он сожжет8313 его огнем;784

3 и ты не избежишь4422 от руки3027 его, но непременно8610 будешь8610 взят8610 и предан5414 в руки3027 его, и глаза5869 твои увидят7200 глаза5869 царя4428 Вавилонского,894 и уста6310 его будут1696 говорить1696 твоим устам,6310 и пойдешь935 в Вавилон.894

4 Впрочем слушай8085 слово1697 Господне,3068 Седекия,6667 царь4428 Иудейский!3063 так говорит559 Господь3068 о тебе: ты не умрешь4191 от меча;2719

5 ты умрешь4191 в мире,7965 и как для отцов1 твоих, прежних7223 царей,4428 которые были прежде3942 тебя, сожигали4955 при погребении благовония, так сожгут8313 и для тебя и оплачут5594 тебя: «увы,1945 государь!»,113 ибо Я изрек1696 это слово,1697 говорит5002 Господь.3068

6 Иеремия3414 пророк5030 все слова1697 сии пересказал1696 Седекии,6667 царю4428 Иудейскому,3063 в Иерусалиме.3389

7 Между тем войско2428 царя4428 Вавилонского894 воевало3898 против Иерусалима3389 и против всех городов5892 Иудейских,3063 которые еще оставались,3498 против Лахиса3923 и Азеки;5825 ибо из городов5892 Иудейских3063 сии только оставались,7604 как города5892 укрепленные.4013

14 «в конце7093 седьмого7651 года8141 отпускайте7971 каждый376 брата251 своего, Еврея,5680 который продал4376 себя тебе; пусть он работает5647 тебе шесть8337 лет,8141 а потом отпусти7971 его от себя на волю»;2670 но отцы1 ваши не послушали8085 Меня и не приклонили5186 уха241 своего.

15 Вы ныне3117 обратились7725 и поступили6213 справедливо3477 пред очами5869 Моими, объявив7121 каждый376 свободу1865 ближнему7453 своему, и заключили3772 предо3942 Мною завет1285 в доме,1004 над которым наречено7121 имя8034 Мое;

16 но потом раздумали7725 и обесславили2490 имя8034 Мое, и возвратили7725 к себе каждый376 раба5650 своего и каждый376 рабу8198 свою, которых отпустили7971 на волю,2670 куда душе их угодно,5315 и принуждаете3533 их быть у вас рабами5650 и рабынями.8198

17 Посему так говорит559 Господь:3068 вы не послушались8085 Меня в том, чтобы каждый376 объявил7121 свободу1865 брату251 своему и ближнему7453 своему; за то вот Я, говорит5002 Господь,3068 объявляю7121 вам свободу1865 подвергнуться мечу,2719 моровой1698 язве1698 и голоду,7458 и отдам5414 вас на озлобление21892113 во все царства4467 земли;776

18 и отдам5414 преступивших5825674 завет1285 Мой и не устоявших6965 в словах1697 завета,1285 который они заключили3772 пред3942 лицем3942 Моим, рассекши3772 тельца5695 надвое8147 и пройдя5674 между рассеченными частями1335 его,

19 князей8269 Иудейских3063 и князей8269 Иерусалимских,3389 евнухов5631 и священников3548 и весь народ5971 земли,776 проходивший5674 между рассеченными частями1335 тельца,5695 —

20 отдам5414 их в руки3027 врагов341 их и в руки3027 ищущих1245 души5315 их, и трупы5038 их будут пищею3978 птицам5775 небесным8064 и зверям929 земным.776

21 И Седекию,6667 царя4428 Иудейского,3063 и князей8269 его отдам5414 в руки3027 врагов341 их и в руки3027 ищущих1245 души5315 их и в руки3027 войска2428 царя4428 Вавилонского,894 которое отступило5927 от вас.

22 Вот, Я дам6680 повеление,6680 говорит5002 Господь,3068 и возвращу7725 их к этому городу,5892 и они нападут3898 на него, и возьмут3920 его, и сожгут8313 его огнем,784 и города5892 Иудеи3063 сделаю5414 пустынею8077 необитаемою.3427

Chapter 34

1 THE word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, and all his army and all the kingdoms of the earth that were under his dominion and all the peoples who were fighting against Jerusalem and against all of its cities, saying,

2 Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah and tell him, Thus says the LORD: Behold, I will deliver this city into the hand of the king of Babylon and he shall burn it with fire;

3 And you shall not escape from his hand, but shall surely be seized and delivered into his hand, and your eyes shall see the eyes of the king of Babylon, and you shall speak with him mouth to mouth, and you shall go to Babylon.

4 Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah; thus says the LORD concerning you, You shall not die by the sword; but you shall die in peace;

5 And as they mourned over your fathers, the former kings who were before you, so shall they mourn over you; and they shall lament for you, saying, Ah lord! for I have spoken this word, says the LORD.

6 Then Jeremiah the prophet spoke all these words to Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem

7 When the king of Babylon's army was fighting against Jerusalem and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish and against Azekah; for these were the only fortified cities that remained of the cities of Judah.

8 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people that were in Jerusalem: Proclaim liberty to them;

9 That every man should set free his Hebrew manservant and maidservant, so that no man may enslave a Jew, his brother.

10 And all the princes and all the people obeyed, and took upon themselves to let every one his manservant and his maidservant go free, that they should not make them to serve them any more; so they let them go free.

11 But afterward they changed their minds, and caused to return both the male and female servants whom they had let go free, and brought them into subjection for servants and for handmaids.

12 Therefore the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,

13 Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, saying,

14 At the end of seven years you shall set free every man his brother, a Hebrew, who has been sold to you; and when he has served you six years, you shall let him go free from you; but your fathers did not hearken to me nor incline their ear.

15 And you now had turned, and had done that which is right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbor, and you had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name;

16 But then you turned again and profaned my name, and caused every man his servant and every man his handmaid, whom he had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return and to be brought again into subjection, to be to you for servants and for handmaids.

17 Therefore thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: You have not hearkened to me in proclaiming liberty every one to his neighbor; beg hold, I proclaim for you liberty to sword, to famine, and to pestilence, says the LORD; and I will make you a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth.

18 And I will deliver up the men who have transgressed my covenant, who have not confirmed the words of the covenant which they had made before me, when they cut the calf in two and passed between the parts thereof,

19 The princes of Judah and the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs and the priests and all the people of the land, who passed between the parts of the calf;

20 And I will deliver them into the hand of their enemies and into the hand of those who seek their lives; and their dead bodies shall be food for the fowls of the air and for the beasts of the earth.

21 And Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes I will deliver into the hand of their enemies and into the hand of those who seek their lives and into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, who are coming back against them.

22 Behold, I will command, says the LORD, and cause them to return to this city; and they shall fight against it and take it and burn it with fire; and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an inhabitant.

2 Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah and tell him, Thus says the LORD: Behold, I will deliver this city into the hand of the king of Babylon and he shall burn it with fire;

3 And you shall not escape from his hand, but shall surely be seized and delivered into his hand, and your eyes shall see the eyes of the king of Babylon, and you shall speak with him mouth to mouth, and you shall go to Babylon.

4 Впрочем слушай8085 слово1697 Господне,3068 Седекия,6667 царь4428 Иудейский!3063 так говорит559 Господь3068 о тебе: ты не умрешь4191 от меча;2719

4 Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah; thus says the LORD concerning you, You shall not die by the sword; but you shall die in peace;

5 ты умрешь4191 в мире,7965 и как для отцов1 твоих, прежних7223 царей,4428 которые были прежде3942 тебя, сожигали4955 при погребении благовония, так сожгут8313 и для тебя и оплачут5594 тебя: «увы,1945 государь!»,113 ибо Я изрек1696 это слово,1697 говорит5002 Господь.3068

5 And as they mourned over your fathers, the former kings who were before you, so shall they mourn over you; and they shall lament for you, saying, Ah lord! for I have spoken this word, says the LORD.

6 Then Jeremiah the prophet spoke all these words to Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem

7 Между тем войско2428 царя4428 Вавилонского894 воевало3898 против Иерусалима3389 и против всех городов5892 Иудейских,3063 которые еще оставались,3498 против Лахиса3923 и Азеки;5825 ибо из городов5892 Иудейских3063 сии только оставались,7604 как города5892 укрепленные.4013

7 When the king of Babylon's army was fighting against Jerusalem and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish and against Azekah; for these were the only fortified cities that remained of the cities of Judah.

8 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people that were in Jerusalem: Proclaim liberty to them;

9 That every man should set free his Hebrew manservant and maidservant, so that no man may enslave a Jew, his brother.

10 And all the princes and all the people obeyed, and took upon themselves to let every one his manservant and his maidservant go free, that they should not make them to serve them any more; so they let them go free.

11 но после310 того, раздумавши,7725 стали7725 брать7725 назад7725 рабов5650 и рабынь,8198 которых отпустили7971 на волю,2670 и принудили35333533 их быть рабами5650 и рабынями.8198

11 But afterward they changed their minds, and caused to return both the male and female servants whom they had let go free, and brought them into subjection for servants and for handmaids.

12 И было слово1697 Господне3068 к Иеремии3414 от Господа:3068

12 Therefore the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,

13 так говорит559 Господь,3068 Бог430 Израилев:3478 Я заключил3772 завет1285 с отцами1 вашими, когда3117 вывел3318 их из земли776 Египетской,4714 из дома1004 рабства,5650 и сказал:559

13 Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, saying,

15 And you now had turned, and had done that which is right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbor, and you had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name;

19 The princes of Judah and the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs and the priests and all the people of the land, who passed between the parts of the calf;

20 отдам5414 их в руки3027 врагов341 их и в руки3027 ищущих1245 души5315 их, и трупы5038 их будут пищею3978 птицам5775 небесным8064 и зверям929 земным.776

20 And I will deliver them into the hand of their enemies and into the hand of those who seek their lives; and their dead bodies shall be food for the fowls of the air and for the beasts of the earth.

21 И Седекию,6667 царя4428 Иудейского,3063 и князей8269 его отдам5414 в руки3027 врагов341 их и в руки3027 ищущих1245 души5315 их и в руки3027 войска2428 царя4428 Вавилонского,894 которое отступило5927 от вас.

21 And Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes I will deliver into the hand of their enemies and into the hand of those who seek their lives and into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, who are coming back against them.

22 Вот, Я дам6680 повеление,6680 говорит5002 Господь,3068 и возвращу7725 их к этому городу,5892 и они нападут3898 на него, и возьмут3920 его, и сожгут8313 его огнем,784 и города5892 Иудеи3063 сделаю5414 пустынею8077 необитаемою.3427

22 Behold, I will command, says the LORD, and cause them to return to this city; and they shall fight against it and take it and burn it with fire; and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an inhabitant.
