2 та в Зако́ні Господнім його насоло́да, і про Зако́н Його вдень та вночі вій роздумує! |

3 І він буде, як дерево, над во́дним потоком поса́джене, що ро́дить свій плід своєдчасно, і що листя не в'яне його, — і все́, що він чинить, — щасти́ться йому́! |
|
4 Не так ті безбожні, — вони як полова, що вітер її розвіває! |
|
5 Ось тому́ то не всто́ять безбожні на су́ді, ані грішники у зборі праведних, — |
|
6 дорогу бо праведних знає Госпо́дь, а дорога безбожних загине! |

1 BLESSED is the man who walks not in the way of the ungodly, nor abides by the counsel of sinners, nor sits in the company of mockers; |
|
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law does he meditate day and night. |
|
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by a stream of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaves fall not off; and whatsoever he begins he accomplishes. |
|
4 The ungodly are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away. |
|
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not be justified in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; |
|
6 For the LORD knows the way of the righteous; but the way of the ungodly shall perish. |

4 Не так ті безбожні, — вони як полова, що вітер її розвіває! |

5 Ось тому́ то не всто́ять безбожні на су́ді, ані грішники у зборі праведних, — |
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not be justified in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; |
